The invitations for the first wave of the Alpha of the new “World of Warcraft” expansion Shadowlands have been sent out and the Alpha has now started. MeinMMO shows you how to find out if you can participate.
Since when has the Alpha been running? Since Thursday evening, April 9, starting around 8:20 PM, the first players and invitees have been able to download the Alpha of Shadowlands. After the first wave of invitations was announced on April 6, it has now begun.
So far (8:30 PM), the servers are still offline. However, the download is already in progress. Those who have been granted access can already download the test client to prepare for the Alpha.
How to check if you are included: If you are invited, you will not receive a key, but an activation for your account. Usually, an email follows, though it may arrive late.
You can check if you are included directly in the Battle.net client. There under the selection “Version” above the “Play” button of WoW, you should find the entry “Alpha: Shadowlands”, as shown in the screenshot by WoW expert MMO-Sankar:
If nothing has appeared there yet, keep an eye on the downloader throughout the evening or check again tomorrow morning. The waves often take a while and it may take some time for all invitations to be sent out.
Sign up for the Alpha of Shadowlands
How to sign up: If you do not have an invitation yet and want to sign up, it’s very easy with a few clicks on the official Shadowlands page. We have gathered all further information on registration and details on Alpha and Beta here for you:
What’s included in the Alpha? The current state of the Alpha is still far from completion of the next expansion. In the current version, the area Bastion should be available, where the Kyrian Covenant is based, and the associated dungeon, the Necrotic Wake.
If you want to get a picture of Shadowlands, make sure you’re signed up for the tests and hope for an invitation. However, we will also keep you updated with further information and exciting details about the upcoming addon over time. All information and everything important about the new expansion Shadowlands can be found in our collection article.

Next Sunday, a one-day special event will start in Pokémon GO. There you can secure one of the best Pokémon for PvP.
What kind of event is this? On Sunday, April 12, the GO Battle Day will take place in Pokémon GO for the first time. The focus of this day is the Water/Fairy Pokémon Marill. You can catch it via the Battle League. The event will run simultaneously with the Easter event.
On Sunday, you can participate in 20 battle sets instead of the usual 5 – that’s a total of 100 battles. If you win matches between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM local time, your chances of encountering a Marill will increase. It will appear as a base reward after the first and third win, and with a Premium Pass after each victory. Additionally, there will be double Stardust for every Marill caught. The rewards for rank-ups, such as Wrestler Pikachu, will remain unchanged during this time.
Marill Battle Day Celebrates New Leaderboard
Why should I catch Marill? You can evolve Marill into Azumarill. That is one of the best Pokémon in the Super League. Its type combination makes it a dangerous opponent, and it can withstand a lot in battle. A strong Azumarill performs really well in the Super League – and the more Marill you catch, the better your chances of having good stats.
Azumarill is one of the best PvP monsters in the Super League
Why is this event taking place? The event, which can be perfectly played from home, celebrates the introduction of the new battle leaderboard.
This will be introduced on Friday, April 10. It will display the 500 best trainers, including their trainer name, team, and rank. Additionally, it will show the rating and total battles fought.
Trainers from rank 7 can be included on the list. However, trainers against whom disciplinary actions are pending or who use inappropriate nicknames will be excluded. The list will always evaluate the performances from the previous day.
The leaderboard could give some players an incentive to reattempt in the PvP league. However, the atmosphere in the battle league has recently been tainted by numerous bugs and issues.
Keep in mind that there is currently a risk of contracting the coronavirus. The Federal Center for Health Education recommends staying at home as much as possible, keeping a distance from others, and avoiding crowds. Niantic has implemented various measures so that you can play Pokémon GO from home.

If you want to unlock the Shadow and Ghost variants of the skins for Skye in Fortnite: Battle Royale, you need to find her hat Ollie as the last step. We will show you where it is.
Where can I find Ollie? Skye’s hat Ollie is located in two different places, depending on whether you are looking for the Shadow or Ghost variant:
Shadow-Ollie is in Weeping Woods
Ghost-Ollie is in Frenzy Farm
You should find both hats at the locations described below, and you just need to pick them up. However, it may happen that they flee from you, and you will have to catch them first. Be careful of campers during this!
Shadow-Ollie is located in Weeping Woods, specifically in the grid square D5, relatively centrally and on the border to grid square D6. At that spot, you will find a car on the road in front of a house. Right next to this car lies Ollie.
Location of Ghost-Ollie
Ghost Ollie is located in Frenzy Farm at grid square F3, a bit left under the middle of the square. He lies under a large tree by a fence next to one of the fields there.

Amazon has announced today, on April 9, that the release of the MMO New World will be postponed. The new date is now set for August.
What has been announced? In a video message, Game Director Scot Lane addressed the community of the MMO. He announced that the release of New World will be postponed.
The new date is now August 25, nearly 3 months later. One reason for this is the current work from home situation due to the coronavirus. This has led to some complicated and technical issues, according to Lane.
What is the current status of New World? As Scot Lane reports, New World is currently making good progress, but the game is very ambitious, and that is why the release is currently being delayed.
To create the best possible experience for players, the release is being postponed.
Some players have expected the delay: Many players and some readers at MeinMMO have expected the delay of New World. A beta was officially announced for April, but so far there have been no information on when it would actually start.
Some have already concluded from the lack of information and the current situation with the virus that the release could be postponed. After all, it has already affected the Greymoor expansion of ESO and The Last of Us Part II.
When does the beta for New World start now? According to Amazon, the Closed Beta is now scheduled to take place in July. The currently ongoing Alpha for New World is set to continue.

In Borderlands 3, a new update comes this Thursday evening. This improves the gunner Moze even further – and brings new events.
When is the new update coming? The new update goes live as usual on Thursday evening in the form of a new hotfix. The update should be active by 9:00 PM. Just wait until the “Hotfixes Applied” sign appears in your main menu.
Strong chests & powerful Moze in the update
Update brings new event: With the new update, the overarching loot event continues. The Slot Machine Mania and Trials Take-All events will end this evening, but two new ones will come into play.
Loot Monster Mayhem. This brings more loot enemies, such as Loot-Tinks, into play.
Both events will again end in a week, on April 16th. Then there will likely be new events that will bring you more loot.
Moze players are excited about the improvements
Moze will be more powerful: After the developers of the gunner Moze already provided some buffs last week, they are stepping it up this week. Once again, the developers are improving skills that make Moze more dangerous and resilient at the same time. This affects:
Explosive punctuation: The cooldown will be increased by 8%
Hammerdown Protocol: Damage will be increased to 600% and improves the reload time
Click, Click…: The damage bonuses will be increased
Specialist Bear: The damage is increased from +25% to +60%
Additionally, the weapons of the Iron Bear will be equipped with more damage. Overall, Moze will become significantly stronger – which is well received in the community.
On Reddit, Moze fans are excited about the improvements.
“These are not the buffs I originally wanted. But damn, these are really good buffs for Moze,” says user Bearded Wonder (via Reddit).
“I can’t wait to try Moze and Iron Bear with the new damage,” says user Flavio-GM (via Reddit).
“These are the Moze buffs I’ve been waiting for. Iron Bear could really become useful on Mayhem 4 now, and with the Click Click skill, Moze can deal a lot more damage,” says user cole5754 (via Reddit).
Moze will overall be more powerful than before. This will also make powerful builds at max level even stronger. This will also be necessary – because in mid-April, the newly rolled out “Mayhem 2.0” mode is supposed to make the game even harder.

Bethesda has released a new trailer for the Wastelanders update for Fallout 76. In just under 2 minutes, there are plenty of details that really make you excited about the new content.
This is shown in the trailer: The new trailer provides an overview of the massive Wastelanders update, starting with the first quest and the first NPCs, all the way to a mysterious new vault.
Included are new weapons, armor, and plenty of story with the NPCs you will meet. We will highlight 5 of the showcased details for you.

At the beginning, the trailer shows the start of Appalachia: The very first quest in the “Waywards” diner, which is now located right at the first camp of the Overseer. There, you can take a real quest from human NPCs for the first time and talk to them extensively.
Even the first step into the new adventure begins with a decision, as a stranger holds a weapon to the tough Duchess’s face as you stumble in. Just remember that your choices have consequences.
However, if the Raider leader claims the entire land for herself, it could naturally lead to a dispute. Especially since you, the residents of Vault 76, have made the land habitable again.
Hidden in the middle of the trailer is a huge hint about the new task you will pursue in Wastelanders. After the Brandbeasts have largely been defeated, it’s now against the Scorched plague.
Because the newly arrived humans should not fall victim to the disease right away. For that, you previously worked on a vaccine – which now somehow needs to be distributed, it sounds like. How will you manage that?
The trailer is scattered with some details and hints about new features. Distributed scenes show, for example:
a new weapon: bow and arrow
unknown NPCs who seem to want to hire you for secret tasks
a combat arena where you face off against beasts with other players
What lies behind the contents will likely need to be discovered by you yourself. However, it is clear that a ton of new features and contents are hidden there that you can discover in Wastelanders.
The Mysterious Vault 79
As a conclusion to the trailer, the door to an as-yet-unknown Vault 79 is shown, which the Raider leader apparently wants to blow open together with you. What exactly is behind the doors, we cannot say yet.
What lies within Vault 79?
Perhaps it will be a raid like Vaults 96 and 94 before it, or it will continue the story. As it looks in the trailer, you will need to overcome it with a group of players or NPC companions who will support you. If you want to learn more, you can find all the information on the massive Wastelanders update and the new features here.

A team won a round in Call of Duty: Warzone by cunningly luring their last opponents into a trap. Ultimately, they died in the gas.
This was the situation: A whole team was facing only two opponents at the end of a round. They were hiding from their adversaries in a bunker, waiting for kills.
However, in the end, they were simply denied the exit from the bunker, leading them to die there from the increasingly approaching gas. Their opponents watched the entire scene from a distance, celebrating their round victory.
Bunker turns into a deadly trap
Here is the clip: On Reddit, the video by RoobinKrumpa has already received over 5000 upvotes and numerous comments:

This is how the players proceeded: The opposing players camped in a bunker waiting for easy kills, but the opposing team simply parked a vehicle in front of the only exit of the bunker.
The campers were trapped and could not get out. Their opponents watched the spectacle from outside, and after a short time, the campers were taken out by the gas.
What is being said about the clip? The video is receiving a lot of support, and many viewers speculate about what the trapped opponents must have thought. There are comments like “The damn door is glitching! I hate this game, I swear!”
Are there more funny clips like this? Players keep sharing their funny experiences from Warzone on Reddit. For example, a player was taken out by a flying truck that had a major bug.
Other players show that the dangerous gas in Warzone also has decisive advantages when used correctly. This way, one can see much better through the gas from the outside. Thus, one can even win entire rounds in the end.

In the new expansion of The Elder Scrolls Online, we return to Skyrim. There, there are both the mountainous region and the underground Black Reach. Therefore, Greymoor is expected to be the expansion with the largest playable area.
How big will Greymoor be? In a blog post that was provided to us in advance, the developers revealed new details about the upcoming expansion Greymoor. It strongly emphasizes nostalgia and brings back many familiar areas from TES5 Skyrim.
To the mountainous region, areas such as:
the Jarldoms of Haafingar
Hjaalmarch
Karthald
the port city of Solitude
Dragon Bridge
and the smaller Morthal.
By itself, this would probably not make the expansion so huge to set a record. After all, the previous chapter Elsweyr already offered a large base area, and the area of western Skyrim is limited.
However, together with the Black Reach, which plays entirely underground, Greymoor is set to provide the largest playable area that an expansion in ESO has ever had.
Solitude, one of the cities from Skyrim and soon also Greymoor.
Greymoor brings familiar enemies and new challenges
What awaits in the areas? A large expansion also requires a variety of enemies and dangers. These were also introduced in the blog post.
From our interview, we already know about the return of the Falmer and Chaurus, two well-known enemy types from Skyrim. They lurk primarily in the dark cave region, which is said to be very winding but looks beautiful with the fluorescent giant mushrooms and glowing will-o’-the-wisps.
Here, many treasures but also terrible dangers are waiting for you. One of these dangers is the Vampire Lord waiting for you at Fort Greymoor.
Various creatures from the beautiful Black Reach.
In the overworld, you will encounter twigblights, giants, trolls, bears, and other monsters. A major role is played by the large city of Solitude, which functions as the main hub.
In addition to the normal creatures, there will be a total of 6 bosses in the new areas that you can fight in the open world. Among them are a sea giant and a vampire knight.
What else does Greymoor offer? The new areas also feature 2 public dungeons where you will find larger and more challenging groups of enemies.
Additionally, Harrowstorms will appear in the open world. These are world events that you must complete together with other players. According to the story, they have a connection to the latest DLC Harrowstorm.
A coven of witches from Harrowstorm, who are not innocent in the Harrowstorms.
This is the rough concept of home raids: Data miners have found a remote raid pass. You can use it to participate in raids from a distance.
The number of participants from a distance is limited, and the Pokémon of these trainers are supposed to deal less damage.
These problems could arise with home raids
The reduced damage could be confusing: Especially at the beginning, one does not know exactly how the reduced damage looks. While you can currently defeat Demeteros with two players, it might not work from a distance. Here one has to try a lot, and it is quite possible that you may not be able to gather enough players to do raids from a distance.
Demeteros might no longer be defeated in duo from a distance
The limited number of remote raiders: So far, it is still unknown how many trainers can participate from a distance. If the limit is low, then it may be that you still need trainers who are at the gym.
Combining the reduced damage and the maximum number of remote raiders could lead to the situation where there are not enough trainers to deal sufficient damage.
The remote raid pass is only available in the shop: According to leaks, you should be able to buy the special raid pass in the shop. The price is still unknown, but many trainers expect that it will be at least as expensive as the normal raid pass. Others even suspect it could be more expensive, as it is, after all, a luxury not to have to go outside.
It also seems that you cannot get a remote raid pass for free every day. You would then have to spend money for every raid from a distance.
The coordination could be problematic: Those who are not in a community in their city might have trouble finding suitable teammates. After all, you can no longer see who is standing with you in front of the gym.
So, if you don’t make any arrangements, you have to go into the raids hoping that a teammate will join.
Legendary raids might become difficult from a distance without coordination
What do trainers say about it? The anticipation for the home raids was huge, but the findings of the data miners have disillusioned many trainers. Here we summarize some opinions from reddit users:
whtge8: “Why is there a damage nerf when we have to pay for remote raids? If it were free, I would understand, but this pass will likely cost more than the premium raid passes. I just don’t get it.”
XUndeadA55asinX: “And there goes all my hype for the home raids … Why don’t they just let us use the raid passes we already have?”
Hollewijn: “I believe people will be reluctant to use a paid pass if they do not have the assurance that the raid will take place and be successful. If the remote raid is less effective, this actually leads to more uncertainty.”
kamieniarz: “Remote raid passes will be sold in the shop – let’s hope they only cost one coin, but I just don’t believe that …”
Are there also positive voices about the concept? The fundamental idea of allowing raids from home during the Corona crisis is well-received, but the currently known concept is not very well received. Only a few voices are optimistic:
It could be the non-pandemic version of remote raids. I think if they are implemented, certain restrictions could be lifted, such as the number of players who can do this remotely, or even a further reduction in damage mitigation. This is comparable to the introduction of GBL, where the requirement of walking distance was lifted and the number of possible rounds was increased. The problem is that this is a new system, but we do not know whether it is a permanent addition or just something for the current situation we are all in.
Nonetheless, it must be noted that the voices are only based on leaks from data miners. Niantic itself remains silent on this topic for now. So one should wait for official information before drawing a final judgment on raids from a distance. Until then, one can take advantage of the Easter event bonuses.

In Fortnite: Battle Royale the Skye challenges are active. This week you need tosearch chests at landmarks. We will show you where these locations are.
What kind of task is this? This challenge is part of the Skye missions set. By completing it, you can unlock a style variant for the Ghost or Shadow teams. In the second week, you need to search 10 chests at landmarks on the new Fortnite map.
There are a total of 55 landmarks on the Season 2 Chapter 2 map. At these locations, you need to search 10 chests.
Chests at Landmarks – Where to Land?
Since there are so many different landmarks, you will quickly find a place where you can search chests. However, we will show you a few locations that are particularly suitable for this task.
1. Logjam Lumberyard
Why is this landmark suitable? Landing at the lumberyard not only provides advantages for this task but for your entire game.
Here, you will find several chests and can farm plenty of materials of every kind. This way, you complete your task and are fully equipped for battle.
2. Mount Kay and its Surroundings
Why is this landmark suitable? In the area around Mount Kay, you will find not just one but eight landmarks.
If you land at the weather station and loot it first, you can then use the helicopter to check out all the locations. So if you want to complete the task in one game, you should definitely land here.
3. Rainbow Rentals
Why is this landmark suitable? Rainbow Rentals is particularly suitable for this task, as you will find five houses there, and several chests are located there.
If you want to complete the task quickly, you should stop by there and grab all the chests. Also, you shouldn’t encounter many opponents at Rainbow Rentals.
What does completing this task bring? This mission is part of the second set of Skye challenges. You need to complete at least 18 tasks before you can assign your Agent to the Ghost or Shadow teams. The skin is available through the Battle Pass.
With Loadout Drops, you can get helpful perks in Call of Duty: Warzone that improve your chances in Battle Royale. The strongest perk is Ghost, as it allows you to hide much better from your opponents. However, it seems to not be working correctly anymore.
What’s wrong with Ghost? This perk, which you obtain through equipment drops in Call of Duty: Warzone, is supposed to protect you from devices that opponents could use to detect you earlier:
Protection from reconnaissance drones
Not visible on heartbeat sensors
Invisible to radar drones
However, according to several reports from Warzone players on reddit, the perk apparently does not work 100% reliably anymore. Despite “Ghost,” players are visible on the heartbeat sensor’s display. We recommend both advantages in our tips for the Warzone, and many players like to use them. A bug could impact a lot of Warzone players.
The powerful heartbeat sensor should ideally be countered with “Ghost.” But the perk seems to act up sometimes.
“Ghost” could be broken – But some players doubt it
What experiences have players had? The author of the reddit thread “skk50” reported about several solo matches where he could see in the killcam that he was visible to his enemies with the heartbeat sensor.
Some users contradict this. “Me2445” claims: “The killcam is not accurate. He could have looked at the sensor without having a display, while the killcam still shows something. Possibly a killcam bug.”
But other soldiers have reported differently regarding the problem. “jerrywesticles” reports: “I noticed this today as well. I found someone with my heartbeat sensor and then deployed my reconnaissance drone. But he wasn’t displayed, only on the heartbeat sensor.”
However, most players who have encountered the bug are confident that it is not a consistent bug. It occurs sometimes and not at other times. This uncertainty makes it unreliable for some players, as they can no longer rely on it.
“Ghost” can also be countered by the Advanced UAV. With a little trick, you can also get the improved drone in Warzone.
Not everyone knows the details of “Ghost”
Could something else be at fault here? Even the reports in conjunction with the drone don’t convince all soldiers. The perk “Ghost” does not provide 100% protection from drones and sensors.
Once you fire your weapon, “Ghost” is disabled for a few seconds. Some suspicious readers here assume ignorance and believe this is not a bug, but human error.
It could also be the other way around, and the heartbeat sensor displays information that it shouldn’t provide in this case. Either way, this issue could become a problem for the developers.
What should I pay attention to now? If “Ghost” does have a small flaw, it further strengthens the already powerful heartbeat sensor. You can’t really counteract this, and there has been no statement from the developers regarding it either. So if you haven’t done so yet, rely even more on the heartbeat sensor.
If “Ghost” seems too uncertain to you now, consider using “Overkill” instead. This allows you to carry two fully modified weapons into war. “Battle Hardened” is also a good choice among the red perks, but is countered by the also widely used “Cold-Blooded.” Here’s an overview of the best loadouts and perks in Warzone.
Knowing that this perk can sometimes have hiccups leads to uncertainty. We will keep an eye on this issue and provide you with an update should there be new information.

In Diablo 3, depending on the build, you often have to deal with cooldowns lasting several minutes. These can be powerful active abilities that buff you, or passive abilities that prevent your immediate death.
In Minecraft Dungeons, they don’t want to offer major cooldowns. Abilities, like the built-in dash, cool down quickly and are ready for use again after a handful of seconds. “Larger” cooldowns then last about 10 to 30 seconds.
In gameplay, everything feels much smoother. You don’t have to wait endlessly for your cooldowns to be ready again before facing a powerful enemy.
Who is speaking here? Patrick Freese has been a big fan of Diablo 3 for years. He has already accumulated nearly 1,000 hours of gameplay and is always back for every season. When he saw Minecraft Dungeons during the E3 2019 stream, he wanted to jump right in and try it out. Is it really just a Diablo 3 in Minecraft graphics, or what is behind it? Here you can see the differences he discovered while playing the beta and in the exclusive event with the developers.

Crossplay is planned
Players in Diablo 3 must make do without crossplay between consoles and PC.
The controller control for Minecraft Dungeons works well
In contrast, Minecraft Dungeons has positive prospects. While they don’t offer a cross-play feature directly at launch, they plan to activate it in a free update later this year.
It’s clear that gamers like me will appreciate this point. Overcoming the artificial separation between PC and consoles and being able to play with all your friends is something I really like.
Conclusion: Minecraft Dungeons has done its homework
In the short time I have been able to test Minecraft Dungeons, the game has already brought me a lot of joy. You can tell that features from other ARPGs were not just copied mindlessly. Instead, some were used as a template to then improve them in the game.
You change your playstyle directly in the event without needing to interrupt or switch your class. You can adjust the enchanting of weapons depending on the type of enemy and gain advantages.
After the brief impression, I see a lot of potential in Minecraft Dungeons – also for people who haven’t played Minecraft for years, but also for newcomers. The controls are quick to understand, which makes the entry into Minecraft Dungeons buttery smooth.
In the next few days, I will dive deeper into the beta to better assess the game. If you’ve now developed a taste for it, take a close look here at what Minecraft Dungeons actually is and what to expect in May.

What does Minecraft Dungeons do differently than Diablo 3? And what makes it even better? Our editor Patrick Freese explains it to you.
What is it about? The release of Minecraft Dungeons is set for May 26, 2020. The blocky ARPG was introduced at E3 2019. I had the chance to participate in a digital event for Minecraft Dungeons. There, I was able to take a deeper look at the gameplay and later play in the beta myself. For me, as a big Diablo fan, the differences were already evident after the first brief look.
The differences to Diablo 3 – What is even better?
What happens in Minecraft Dungeons? The concept is quickly explained. Players control a character in isometric perspective through a gradually generated dungeon. In it, you fight waves of enemies and event bosses, solve puzzles, and loot your equipment or the in-game currency “Emeralds” from fallen enemies and chests. You can play alone or in a team of up to four players. As soon as one player enters the group, the level becomes harder.
Aside from the Emeralds, it initially sounds like Diablo or other ARPGs. But Minecraft Dungeons differs right away by eliminating class selection. Loot, cooldowns, and crossplay are also “different”.

In the gameplay trailer, you get an impression of what to expect in Minecraft Dungeons and how to play
No Classes – and that’s a good thing
If you start a game in Diablo 3, you have to choose at the very beginning which class you play with. Melee or ranged fighter? Spellcasting or physical damage? If this class does not fit your expectations during the adventure, you may be able to change the build. But the class remains the same. Or you start over with a different class.
Like shooting with a bow? Then you don’t have to choose an archer; just equip the bow.
In Minecraft Dungeons, there are no classes at all. Every character in Minecraft Dungeons can “equip” any weapon or ability they find in the game and then use it. By default, you have a melee attack on the left mouse button, and the right-click is for ranged combat. If you want, you can equip an artifact that turns a simple bow shot into a multi-shot or an arrow that causes an AOE explosion upon hitting enemies.
Weapons can be switched “on the fly” and thus create a different playstyle within seconds. So you are not forced to stick to a class with similar playstyles, but can switch according to your own preference.
You don’t invest experience points in skill trees; instead, you use earned points to enchant weapons or armor.
Enchanting Weapons and Armor – but differently
In Diablo 3, you can create weapons out of nothing. To do this, you walk to the blacksmith with materials, hand them over, and he follows a recipe to craft you an axe or other weapons and armor.
With the “Corrupted Beacon”, you shoot a powerful purple beam at your enemies
In Minecraft Dungeons, there is no way to create weapons “out of nothing”. Instead, you can enchant swords, axes, or other damage dealers. An enchanted sword can leave a gas cloud after a kill that damages enemies in it or alternatively helps the player with a speed buff.
Enchanting individual weapons can be done directly in the gameplay. I like that better than in Diablo 3, where you have to visit the city first. The fact that you cannot create weapons out of nothing is not a disadvantage for me – I find the use of items in Diablo 3 to be minimal anyway.
Differences in Group Loot
You know it from Diablo 3: When loot like armor or weapons lies on the ground, it belongs to the player who sees it. Everyone has their own loot. This works the same way in Minecraft Dungeons. However, there is a special case.
TNT blocks also appear on the map, which you can ignite and throw into hordes of enemies. These blocks then attempt to inflict powerful AOE damage that helps you when fighting annoying skeletons or spiders. You’ll have to fight over these blocks, just like with the food that restores your health.
It’s clear that gamers like me will appreciate this point. Overcoming the artificial separation between PC and consoles and being able to play with all your friends is something I really like.

Meanwhile, the first alpha builds of the new expansion of World of Warcraft are available, and data miners are starting to extract them. They have even discovered something: some supposedly dead NPCs seem to be returning with Shadowlands.
What data is this? Since it was announced on April 6 that the first alpha invitations for Shadowlands are being sent out, the first versions of the alpha are slowly appearing. Data miners are using these to extract game files and mine new information.
In doing so, they have come across new models showing old characters who had died in earlier expansions, completely revamped and in some cases in entirely new forms.
Where do they come from? The files were discovered by data miners at wowhead, who are usually quite reliable when it comes to showcasing new content in advance. However, we still do not know how exactly the characters will be introduced in the new expansion Shadowlands.
The images used are from wowhead.
6 dead NPCs that could return with Shadowlands
What NPCs are these? In the files found, there are five characters who should actually be dead:
Uther, the Lightbringer and former mentor of Arthas’
The former green dragon aspect Ysera
The Loa god Hakkar
Kael’thas, the former leader of the blood elves
Kel’Thuzad, the lich and advisor to the Lich King Arthas Menethil
Lady Vashj, the final boss in the Serpent Shrine Cavern
Click on the images to enlarge them.
Kael’thas in his normal form.Kael’thas in his “corrupted” form. The god Hakkar.Lady Vashj.Ysera in her elven form.Ysera in dragon form. The lich Kel’thuzad.Uther as a Kyrian.
Each of these characters has been dead for quite some time. Hakkar was already defeated in WoW Classic, Lady Vashj and Kael’thas met their end in Burning Crusade, Kel’Thuzad was last killed in Wrath of the Lich King, and Ysera died in Legion. Uther was even slain before the time of WoW, during Warcraft 3.
How do they return? So far, we don’t know exactly in what form or why the characters are returning. Only the new models are known. However, the Shadowlands are the realm of the dead – where else should you meet them?
Kel’Thuzad and Lady Vashj reportedly appear quite early in a scenario according to game files and serve as helpers or NPCs in a quest with Tyrande (via mmo-champion).
However, new timewalking events or even dungeons in the Caverns of Time are also possible. Only with the god Hakkar is everything a bit murky. If gods can even truly die, the question remains whether the same rules apply to them in Shadowlands.
New models for important characters
These characters are getting a redesign: Besides the five beloved characters, there are also new models for Sylvanas Windrunner and the new Lich King Bolvar Fordragon, as well as a first model for the main antagonist: The Jailer.
Sylvanas now wears even more armor and gets a new face. The red glow in her eyes, which often accompanies her, is missing in these pictures, however. After all, she betrays us all before Shadowlands anyway, it is still uncertain what will happen to her.
Bolvar, on the other hand, gets an impressive plate armor that strongly resembles that of his predecessor Arthas, along with his royal blue cloak. Only his breastplate and his helmet is missing – of course.
The Jailer, at least in this form, looks quite different than in an initial leak. Although he still wears his chains and archaic armor, he now has a gaping hole in his chest instead of a bushy beard.

What else was found: In addition to all the renowned characters, data miners also found models for new NPCs that could serve both as allies and enemies. You can find the list of models on wowhead.
Among the new models are also pets and mounts as well as representations of the Kyrian, the first covenant that Blizzard has already presented. Some of these will probably serve as reputation rewards or companions, in accordance with the covenant abilities. However, we do not yet know exactly where most of them will be used. What do you think?

Sony has introduced the PS5 controller. A developer from “The Last of Us Part 2” has already had it in hand and is excited about the possibilities.
Who is speaking? Robert Krekel has reported. He is currently the Audio Lead at Naughty Dog, the development studio behind the game “The Last of Us Part 2“. As Lead, Krekel is responsible for the sound of the game.
What does the developer say? Krekel had already held a prototype of the PS5 controller some time ago. On Twitter, the developer now explains: “I am excited about the new PS5 controller. Many very cool possibilities to integrate audio with haptic feedback. I played around with a prototype a long time ago and the possibilities are very exciting.”

However, there are also situations where you simply have the wrong Pokémon and lose mercilessly. But those who are currently on a real losing streak should be pleased with a new feature in the PvP league.
15 losses in one set are possible
This has changed: If a player loses all 5 battles in a set, they can now make additional attempts to achieve victory. According to Niantic, you can now endure up to 15 consecutive losses before moving on to the next battle set. However, as soon as the first victory is achieved after the normal 5 attempts, you directly move to the next battle set.

Why is there this change? There are several reasons for this. Of course, the aim is to provide trainers with a small sense of achievement, and those who lose their entire battle set can quickly become demotivated.
On the other hand, this adjustment is ideal for newcomers. This way, one can first try out some Pokémon and find a decent team without wasting an entire battle set right away.
In the end, you at least have the chance for the first reward level, which is at least some Stardust. This allows you to improve your monsters.
In the PvP league, many Pokémon are interesting that cannot do anything in raids
What is the meta in the PvP league? The Pokémon that are relevant in PvP mode are often very different from those in raids. So if you are a newcomer and use classic raid Pokémon, you can quickly lose. The tier list for each PvP league shows that completely different monsters are relevant.
It takes some time to get accustomed to the PvP league. In order for you not to lose all your first battle sets right away, Niantic gives you a few more chances. Also, check out our tips for the PvP league, as this can provide you with significant advantages.

At the end of April, the new Title Update 9 for The Division 2 is set to be released, making significant changes to the game. The developers have now teased a feature from TU9 that many players are likely to be excited about.
What to expect in April: Just recently, the Title Update 8.5 was released, and another major update for The Division 2 – Title Update 9 – is expected by the end of April.
This feature has been announced for TU 9: Although the “State of the Game” blog was canceled this week, the developers posted the key information of the week in a post on reddit and on Twitter. There, they teased a feature from TU9 that many agents have been waiting for since Warlords of New York.
With the next update, it will finally be possible to upgrade all Exotics to the current maximum level of 40 – including the Eagle-Bearer assault rifle from the raid. Additionally, you will be able to reroll your Exotics.
Prior to the release of the Warlords expansion, players were informed that this option would be added later. Now, a more concrete time frame has finally been given.
The exact mechanics of how this will work have not yet been explained in detail. More information is expected next week.
Why are many agents waiting for this? Quite simply: Many still have old Exotics in their inventory and do not want to farm them again. However, they have not been able to upgrade them past level 30 unless they have been dropped at a higher level again.
Many owners of the Eagle-Bearer will be particularly pleased. Some spent hundreds of hours farming the exotic assault rifle from the raid and now have it at level 30 in their inventory. Now, they potentially face putting in hundreds more hours just to get the Exo to level 40 – which not everyone is willing to do.
With TU9, you will finally be able to raise your Exotics to level 40.
The reroll function is likely to please many as well. With this, you will be able to turn your poor rolls, with some luck, into strong Exos. However, the developers have not disclosed how expensive this will be.
In short: If you have diligently saved your old Exotics before Warlords as recommended, you will soon be able to bring them to the new maximum level. They will become useful again – especially considering the reroll function.

What else is included in Title Update 9? Not all planned and decided changes made it into TU8.5. Some adjustments and fixes require more time and extensive testing, which will be delivered with TU9.
In addition to the upgrade option for exotic items, various bug fixes and further adjustments concerning Exotics and talents have also been mentioned.

Sony and Microsoft are gradually releasing more and more information about their next consoles, but the price is still missing. We asked you how much you would be willing to pay for the Xbox Series X and PS5.
What was it about? After both Microsoft and Sony have now released the specs for the Xbox Series X and PS5, many players are waiting for the next important information: the price of the two next-gen consoles.
Both manufacturers have so far only given vague hints about their pricing strategy:
However, there is still no clear information. That’s why we asked you in a poll how much you would be willing to pay for each next-gen console.
A clear trend has emerged from the results.
This is how you voted: The survey ended on April 7. Each participant had up to 2 votes, one for the Xbox Series X and one for the PS5. A total of 1402 votes were cast for both consoles.
These are the results for the Xbox Series X price:
Between €200 and €300: 12% (84 votes)
Between €300 and €400: 15.86% (111 votes)
Between €400 and €500: 42.86% (300 votes)
Between €500 and €600: 21.71% (152 votes)
Between €600 and €700: 4% (28 votes)
More than €700: 3.57% (25 votes)
These are the results for the PS5 price:
Between €200 and €300: 8.5% (59 votes)
Between €300 and €400: 21.08% (148 votes)
Between €400 and €500: 46.72% (328 votes)
Between €500 and €600: 16.67% (117 votes)
Between €600 and €700: 3.7% (26 votes)
More than €700: 3.24% (24 votes)
Same Pain Threshold with Different Specs
Why is this interesting? The survey shows that most of you have a price pain threshold between €400 and €500. This price range received the majority of votes for the Xbox Series X at 42.86%, while it was even slightly more for the PS5 at 46.72%.
This is interesting because we now know that the consoles do not have the same specs. The next Xbox will be graphically a bit stronger than the PS5. However, this does not seem to be a reason for you to spend more money.
It is also noticeable that after the €500 threshold, the willingness to buy a new next-gen console drops significantly. While 21.71% of people are still willing to pay up to €600 for the Xbox Series X, only 16.67% would do so for the PS5.
Our reader Mapache provided an explanation for this:
€700 would be […] still too expensive. Not because it wouldn’t be justified by the technology, but because it would simply be too expensive for many players for a living room console.
The manufacturers are probably aware of this as well, as it is not uncommon for consoles to be sold below value, as was the case with the PS3 (via Forbes.com). The goal is to create a broad user base. Therefore, it is quite possible that the next console generation will also fall within the price range that is comfortable for fans.
