In Pokémon GO, you will soon be able to secure the Wrestling Pikachu. However, just walking around in the wild isn’t enough.
This is Wrestling Pikachu: The Wrestling Pikachu, also known as “Pikachu Libre”, appeared in the Pokémon editions Ruby and Sapphire – alongside some other versions.

Versions of the Wrestling Pikachu can also be found in Pokémon Tekken or Super Smash Bros. And soon it will be on the way in Pokémon GO.
Wrestling Pikachu is coming for PvP players
What Niantic has announced: Via Twitter, the Wrestling Pikachu was officially announced.
The monster will encounter you starting from Season 1 in the GO Battle League. This makes it clear: it will not appear in the wild like other special Pikachus or be available as a Raid Boss. Instead, you will have to compete in the PvP League to secure the Wrestling Pikachu.
When does it start? Currently, the preseason of the PvP League is still running. The Super League runs until February 10, followed by the Hyper and Master Leagues. Then, the Super League will return in March – from then on, the first real season might start. However, the exact start date for Season 1 is still unknown.
So, you should also expect Wrestling Pikachu in March. Until then, you can still actively collect victories in the PvP League.
What can Pikachu do? The stats of the monster are not yet known, but it is likely that an attack has already been revealed. Because in January, the new attack “Flying Press” was introduced – an attack that only Wrestling Pikachu and Resladero knew in the main games.
It’s likely that Pikachu will also receive this attack in Pokémon GO.
You will soon encounter armored Mewtwo again. The legendary Pokémon is returning in a special event:
