In Call of Duty: Warzone, you can find mysterious messages since the start of Season 4. MeinMMO shows you the intel for week 1 for the mission “Divided”.
What are intel missions? Along with the introduction of Season 4, new intel missions have started that you can check in the challenges tab of the Call of Duty: Warzone menu. Under the “Missions” section, you will find the “Intel” tab far to the right.
Here you can relatively easily earn a lot of experience points and learn more about the story of Verdansk. There is presumably more to come, according to statements from a relevant developer.
Overall, you need to collect six pieces of information for the week 1 mission, which are scattered across the large map of the Battle Royale. So you don’t have to search for the “Divided” mission intels alone, here are the individual intel locations marked on the Warzone map. Here are the intels for the other weeks:
Tip: You can only complete one step of the quest per round. You need to collect 6 pieces of information and therefore also start at least 6 matches. It’s best to go solo in a round with large teams, like trios or quads. This way, you will have more enemies in the individual teams, but overall fewer teams that can get in your way.
Nearly all intels can be reached quickly after your parachute landing. Grab the intel and jump straight into the next match. This way, you can earn a total of 42,500 XP within half an hour. If you complete the missions in a team, each member must collect the intels themselves.
Bug Alert: Some intels for week 1 cannot be collected. If you are stuck at a point of the mission, unfortunately, there is nothing else you can do but wait for a patch. Even starting a new match does not help.

How to complete the task: Land on the western rooftop of the TV station, which is slightly lower. Go east through 2 doors to get to the room above the large main room. Shadowlands has a lot to offer in character creation. This way, every character in World of Warcraft finally looks unique.
In recent weeks, we have talked a lot about the major innovations of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. From the Tower of Torghast to the Covenants to the individual zones like Ardenweald or Bastion. But we have only briefly touched on a small feature, even though it makes me, Cortyn from MeinMMO, extremely happy.
Because the new character customization will probably connect me to the game more than some other features.
Until now, character customization in WoW has been rather limited. There are only a few different options per race, and usually many players walk around with the same customizations, because many simply look terrible.

And honestly: It happens quite often that you encounter a character that looks quite similar to your own. Especially with the more popular races like Humans, Blood Elves, or Draenei, this is regularly the case. I always think secretly, “Hey, delete yourself, that’s my character!” and feel a little annoyed. After all, such a character is something you connect with a lot.
The better it will be in Shadowlands. When I already see what new combinations and what a variety of options will be possible in Shadowlands, I am really satisfied.

Just seeing how many different, cool characters there are makes me happy. Night Elves with leaves in their hair, great beards on Humans, empty eye sockets, necklaces, and jewelry, or just the new hairstyles. All of this looks so good that when Patch 9.0 releases, I will probably spend a whole day just at the hairdresser to make my characters look like how I’ve always described them in RP.
Of course, character customization as a whole is just a small piece of the puzzle, and if the gameplay features don’t fit, it helps very little. But finally having “my” character and being quite sure that maybe only one or two others on the realm have the exact same appearance – that makes me very, very happy.

The Chinese company Tencent apparently wants to enter the streaming business. Streamers starting on the platform Trovo are expected to receive hefty financial injections. The Trovo platform is reminiscent of the market leader Twitch.
What is Trovo? Trovo Live is a new streaming service based in the USA. The still very young platform is in beta and does not have a large audience.
It is backed by the Chinese giant Tencent. Tencent is known for acquiring stakes in gaming developers:
Now it seems Tencent wants to enter streaming as well and shows no reservations about who they want to learn from. Anyone looking at the layout of Trovo’s homepage and game overview will surely notice some similarities with Twitch.
What does Trovo promise to streamers? Currently, the highest viewer numbers are in the low hundreds, which is negligible compared to other platforms, but this is expected to change.
Tencent has given the streaming service a financial boost of $30 million, which is intended to attract new streamers to the platform. The entire sum is to be used for this purpose.
To attract new streamers, Trovo has established the “Creator Partnership Program.” 500 streamers who stream on the platform and meet certain viewer and hour requirements will receive payments ranging from $600 to $4,200.
Additionally, there will be other bonuses based on growth speed and ranking. New streamers can earn up to about $5,000 in total.
It remains to be seen how many streamers can be attracted to a new platform. However, for prominent stream personalities like Tyler “Ninja” Blevins or Michael “shroud” Grzesiek, who made millions with Mixer deals, these sums will likely be unattractive.
Tencent’s investment is an interesting move considering that Twitch has held an undisputed leading position in streaming for years.
Microsoft had already suffered a defeat in this area. In 2019, the company made million-dollar deals with major streamers like Ninja and shroud, who were contracted for exclusive streaming on the Mixer platform.
However, this did not have the desired effect and did not provide Mixer with a growth boost. On the contrary. On June 22, Microsoft announced that Mixer would be shut down.

World of Warcraft Shadowlands brings a good feeling of finally discovering something completely fresh – because Blizzard managed to create new things without pressure.
I, Cortyn from MeinMMO, have spent a lot of time in the Alpha of Shadowlands in recent weeks and months. Since my heart beats primarily for the story of World of Warcraft, I am always looking for small details and rejoice when there are new races, new lore, and fresh background knowledge. That is exactly what awaits in Shadowlands in abundance.
In Battle for Azeroth, there were new areas with new content, but the underlying story was largely known. It was already clear what the Zandalari Empire was or how the Kul Tirans lived. While many small knowledge gaps were closed, it wasn’t something “completely new”. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it did lead to a lack of particularly large surprises.
In Shadowlands, that’s different. At first glance, there is little that is familiar. The big picture is the unknown, and there are only a few details that seem familiar – exactly the opposite of what we have experienced in the last expansions.
While leveling and playing the Shadowlands areas, I feel reminded of my best times in Vanilla WoW. The entire game world is new and still unknown. There are no major constants that clearly dictate how the story in an area should unfold. Back then, that was the case because I didn’t know all the details about Warcraft. I didn’t know exactly how the centaur tribes in Desolace operate and had no idea about the apothecaries of the Forsaken and their machinations.
Today, in Shadowlands, the “unknown” is back, even though I know pretty much most of the details about Warcraft. Still, I have no idea what these strange tree beings are or what purpose the fairies serve before entering Ardenweald.
I don’t know exactly what role the angelic Kyrians play and whether they are really as good and holy as they seem at first glance. It puzzles me why everyone in Revendreth carries strange gravestones on their backs. It’s new; I have to discover it to understand. I am not looking forward to the outcome of the story as such, but I first have to grasp the underlying concept of a new civilization again.
I feel like I am 15 years younger, experiencing World of Warcraft for the first time again.
Sure – there are always small parallels. Especially in Maldraxxus, much is reminiscent of the Scourge, and there we also meet many well-known heroes from the past. But it quickly becomes clear that the Scourge in Azeroth was just a small detail of a much larger construct that we are now experiencing in its entirety.
Of course, in the end, this only affects the story experience during leveling. It does not provide insight into how good the repetitive content like dungeons, raids, or Torghast will ultimately be. But at least the leveling experience offers a fresh game world that not only impresses visually but can also delight many lore veterans with fresh ideas.
The great thing about the Shadowlands setting is also that it is endlessly expandable – even beyond the Shadowlands expansion. Because the Shadowlands consist of countless realms and not just the five we get to know at the launch of the expansion.
Future patches could therefore add even more realms. The design of the capital Oribos even suggests this assumption, as the portals are arranged in such a way that there is still room for more.
This would make the Shadowlands infinitely expandable and could play a role in future expansions whenever a new realm from the Shadowlands – for whatever reason – needs assistance. The mere possibility of going to the Shadowlands creates an almost endless opportunity to add new realms.
This feels much more appropriate than the usual “Oh, there’s another island popping up from the sea,” which has often been criticized by players.
I love getting to know new areas, stories, and entire cultures in a game. If you feel the same way, then at least the leveling experience in Shadowlands will be among the most exciting things you’ve experienced in the past years in World of Warcraft.

Bots are a plague in MMORPGs and Final Fantasy XIV is no exception. A random boss monster ruined the evening for a group of bots and earned applause for it.
What happened? Player Akiha Rumiho wanted to quietly complete his quests in FFXIV to progress in the story. However, while exploring one of the areas of the MMORPG, he encountered a large group of bots that suddenly appeared at the teleport crystal.
They had apparently been killed by something and teleported back to the crystal. When they resurrected, they immediately hacked their way back to their farming spot. And were killed again.
After some searching in the area, the player discovered what was killing the bots:
The hunting monster Ghede Ti Malice is a type of mini world boss in Final Fantasy XIV. There are such monsters in every non-instanced area and they are usually much stronger than other mobs.
Previously, Ghede, along with other hunting monsters, was regularly killed by players. Nowadays, hunting in low-level 50 areas is rather rare.
As a result, Ghede Ti Malice was able to slice through the groups of bots that appeared right next to him without disturbance. The bots were programmed to continuously move back to the spot where the monster expected them and were caught in a cycle of death.
Even though it probably wasn’t a major loss for the bots, the boss monster cost them quite a bit of progress. Another such hunting monster, however, has brought many laughs to the players.
This is what players say on Reddit: The creator of the video also posted it on Reddit, where it received support from other players.
While Ghede wasn’t celebrated massively with thousands of upvotes, some players still expressed their delight about the incident. The top comment in the thread even nominated Ghede for a position as a Game Master.
The problem with bots and RMTs (Real Money Traders) is not new in FFXIV or in many other MMORPGs.
At the launch of the expansion Shadowbringers, FFXIV experienced a surge in bot and gold seller activity. During that time, Square Enix terminated over 30,000 accounts within a month.
Ban waves occur weekly and ban several thousand accounts at a time. Since early June, according to reports on the FFXIV main page, Lodestone, about 11,000 accounts have been banned for botting and gold-selling activities.
However, the botters don’t give up and continually create new accounts. That’s where the help from a monster in the game comes in handy.

A television show from the American network CNBC had many streamers laughing. An analyst claimed that no one knows the real name of the streamer Ninja.

In the League of Legends, there has been a really nasty exploit in recent days with heroes like Poppy or Kayn. Due to a bug in the system, even innocent players were banned because they had such poor stats that automatic bans were triggered. The exploit lasted for a week. Now Riot is finally addressing the issue and commenting on the problem and the victims.
This is the exploit: We reported on the exploit in LoL on June 20. If players used the ability Hexflash at a very specific time when the gates opened in the match, sinister players could exploit this. It could thus be deliberately triggered and exploited.
With the exploit, heroes like Poppy or Kayn were able to use certain abilities globally, meaning across the entire map.
In extreme cases, it looked like Poppy was just standing in the fountain and using the ability Q every few seconds to kill an enemy somewhere on the map by smashing them with her hammer.
There were then screenshots circulating from Poppy games, where the yordle casually achieved 300 or even 500 kills without ever dying. No wonder, she didn’t even leave the base.
So why were people banned? Players on the opposing team often had stats like 0/35/0. They died 35 times but didn’t kill anyone or assist in a kill.
Such stats are usually only seen in players who deliberately sabotage a match by playing particularly poorly. Automatic bans are then issued.
Because when players “tilt”, getting so angry at their teammates that they completely lose control, it sometimes happens that they “intentionally feed” – this is known as “inting” and is so annoying in LoL that Riot imposes automatic bans.
As some players report, they received such bans as victims of the Poppy exploit, which they felt was extremely unfair: because they did nothing wrong, they were just completely powerless against an exploiter.
This was the problem: A Riot employee reached out relatively quickly, announcing a hotfix for the issue, but communication in the last few days has not been very clear. Players remained relatively in the dark.
Since the official LoL forums are closed, communication has been somewhat fragmented.
This is now the statement: Lead Gameplay Designer of League of Legends, Mark “Scruffy” Yetter, tweeted last night:
The full fix is finally live and should resolve the problems with Poppy Q, Kayn W, and other such abilities. If the problem persists, players should reach out.
Additionally, Yetter states that “innocent victims” of the exploit who were banned will be unbanned. They just need to write a ticket to support, and they will take care of it.
They have also unbanned players who were seen as “intentional feeders” just because they were playing against an exploiter in the past few days.

PCGamer reports that representatives from almost all major player alliances in EVE were present. Many well-known faces from the community and even some developers from CCP Games made appearances.
Even the servers of EVE faced problems during such a large gathering of players in one system, forcing developers to intervene.
They deployed additional network resources and a feature called “Time Dilation.” This causes fights to slow down so that the servers can manage the massive amounts of rockets, lasers, and projectiles. Although it wasn’t the largest PvP battle in EVE, it was still massive.
Players brought some of their biggest and most expensive ships, which were joyfully turned to wreckage in this mock battle. Hundreds of billions of ISK, the in-game currency of EVE, were lost in the process. But it all served a good purpose.
This was the occasion: The reason for the carnage in space was the birthday party of player Chappy78. Originally, he just wanted to gather a small fleet with his friends and perhaps engage in one or two fun battles.
However, word spread quickly. Chappy was contacted by a community manager from EVE who encouraged him to make a post in the official forums, and soon the number of participants grew into the thousands.
On Discord, Chappy received countless friend requests overnight, and in-game chats expressed players’ congratulations and stated that they would be present for the battle.
However, he did not realize how large the battle would actually be until he arrived at the battlefield and saw it with his own eyes. Chappy himself told PCGamer:
It was incredible. I have seen a lot and fought many fun battles [in EVE], but I have never been in a fight that was so big and monstrous.
Although the birthday party was supposed to be a joyful event, it was mixed with bad news for Chappy. A week earlier, he had been diagnosed with cancer, making this birthday likely to be his last.
The support he received from the EVE community was overwhelming. People wished him well and encouraged him.
Even the notorious ruthless gankers “Code” from EVE Online, who attack and rob defenseless players, supported Chappy. When he accidentally landed in the dangerous area of Uemada, they did not attack him.
I arrive in Uemada and suddenly, no joke, around 20 people surround me. I had way too much money [in cargo] with me […] Then suddenly all the private messages popped up. They said: “Chappy, we will be there for you tonight. We will escort you and make sure that your cargo gets to where it needs to go.”

And they did. About 20 players escorted Chappy through the system, targeting every combat ship that tried to get close to him. They protected him until he arrived in Tunadan, where the big battle was supposed to take place.
In the reddit and forum threads about the event, which the community referred to as “World War Chappy,” many players expressed that the action brought them to tears.
I cried when he asked everyone to shoot his Phoenix so he could have everyone’s signatures on his kill mail.

The Pokémon GO grandpa has done it again! The Taiwanese retiree has always used many phones to play Pokémon GO, but now he is running around with 64 smartphones at the same time.
What kind of player is he? Known as “Pokémon GO grandpa”, Chen Sanyuan from Taiwan has been playing since August 2018. At that time, he played with “only” 11 phones at the same time. On his bicycle, the retiree built a phone holder so that all 11 smartphones can be open at the same time.
However, grandpa evolved further. In November 2018, he played with 15 smartphones and a hip holder, which made him half a cyborg.
His development afterwards was even faster. Pictures emerged where he was seen with 23 smartphones at the same time. In November 2019, it was even 45 smartphones. Now he has done it again and was spotted with 64 phones on his bicycle.
These pictures have surfaced: The retiree was now seen with a huge bicycle holder and numerous smartphones. The mountain of phones is so high that Sanyuan can hardly see over it. He has to look through the phones to pay attention to traffic.
In one picture, however, you can also see that there are still some phone holders free. He can therefore upgrade to about 70.
What’s behind it? Meanwhile, the Pokémon GO grandpa has become a real brand. In March 2019, it became known that the company Asus supports the retiree from Taiwan. They provided him with 21 new smartphones at the time and even presented the device together with the retiree on stage – of course firmly mounted on his bicycle.
Niantic, the company behind Pokémon GO, by the way, has not supported the trainer. According to the guidelines, this playing is actually illegal. A trainer is supposed to have a maximum of one account. Two accounts are therefore already prohibited. 64 accounts, of course, as well. Nevertheless, it must be said here that Niantic is not really strict about this rule. There have been no cases so far where trainers with 2 accounts were banned.

The latest Call of Duty game is so far referred to as CoD 2020 or Black Ops 5: Cold War. The title seems to be quite advanced if a new rumor is to be believed. Warzone is also supposed to play a role in CoD 2020.
This is the rumor: It comes from YouTuber XclusiveAce, who has made accurate predictions in the past and is considered a trustworthy source in the community. XclusiveAce released a video in which he said he has “a lot of new information about Black Ops 5” from a leaker. This allegedly included gameplay and new map information. The identity of the leaker has not been revealed.

This video from XclusiveAce, which our sources are referring to, is currently no longer available. It is suspected that Activision was involved in the deletion of the video.
What about Warzone? In Drift0r’s video, it is said that with the release of the new CoD, a new Warzone map is also supposed to appear. This map is said to take place in Russia.
Furthermore, the rumor confirmed that the setting of the new CoD is supposed to be the Cold War. This would also fit with the Warzone map.
What about the new CoD? The game is said to be already very far in development. The source mentions that the campaign is already fully playable, but some animations are still unfinished.
Moreover, it has been said about the game that it is actually in good condition and the multiplayer maps are almost finished.

How trustworthy is it all? Of course, one must view the rumor with caution. The alleged leak remains just a rumor for now. Nevertheless, XclusiveAce is known and appreciated in the community. On reddit, this rumor is spreading like wildfire.
What else is known about the game? As early as May 2019, the US site Kotaku reported that the new CoD is supposed to be a Black Ops.
In March of this year, there was a major leak regarding the new CoD. There is supposed to be a Zombie mode again. Additionally, the campaign is said to cover the Cold War, with characters Alex Mason and Sgt. Frank Woods returning. The leak briefly mentioned the future of Warzone.

Rocket launchers were once a true force in Destiny 2, but they have not played a significant role for quite some time. With this build, rocket launchers are now fun again.
The rocket power is back: For a long time, rocket launchers were considered a universal strategy for almost everything in Destiny 2 – especially those with cluster bombs. Whether it be bosses, majors, enemy groups, or other guardians in PvP – this weapon class cleared everything away.
But those days are over. For quite some time, rocket launchers have not played a real role anymore (in PvE); there are enough other powerful alternatives – such as the swords from Season 11 currently.
However, the Season of Arrival not only made swords trendy again with new models (yes, swords were also good in Season 10) – it also brought a cool new mod with it. With its help, players can revisit the glory days of rocket launchers and wipe away anything that stands in their way – including in the new Contact Event.

Solar armor pieces: First, you need armor pieces with Solar affinity and seasonal mod slots. Because everything related to rocket launchers comes through the slots of the Solar armor.
Furthermore, the mods cost you a lot of energy. Therefore, it is advantageous if you have already leveled the armor pieces to masterpiece or far along. Therefore, it might even be advisable to forgo an armor exotic.
The most important mod: The essential mod is called Silver Bullet (Argent Ordnance) and requires 5 Solar energy to be used. However, it functions somewhat differently than described, which does not make it worse but even more valuable.
As it is described: When you are charged with light and deal damage to a powerful enemy with a rocket launcher, the rocket launcher damage is significantly increased for a short time. A stack of “Charged with Light” is consumed in the process.

However, in practice, the mod works somewhat differently than described. If you switch to the rocket launcher while “Charged with Light”, you receive a damage buff of 20% for a short time. After a hit, one charge is consumed. Thus, with 4 stacks of “Charged with Light”, 4 rockets (or shots) receive the Godslayer Warheads buff. By the way, you don’t even need powerful enemies – it can be a red bar too. It works with any enemy.
In short: Each rocket does 20% more damage per charge.
Supporting mods: With some additional mods, the build’s effectiveness can be further increased. That’s also the reason why you need so many highly rated Solar armor pieces. The following modifications are also recommended for the build:

The weapon: While this build can work with several rocket launchers, it is best to go for the exotic Wardcliff Coil. This rocket launcher is good against bosses, strong for clearing mobs, and unlike other exotic representatives, can be upgraded to masterpiece, allowing you to generate Spheres of Light for charging directly.
The Guardian class: In principle, you can use any Guardian class for this. However, Void classes can additionally benefit from grenades with Constraining Void.
How to play the build: It’s not really complicated and is actually very fun – especially in the new Contact Event. Charge yourself with light, spam rockets, find or generate ammo, and let rockets rain down. Just wipe everything out.

The streaming platform Twitch has banned the streamer Guy “Dr Disrespect” Beahm. According to several sources, the ban is permanent. His subscribers will receive their money back. There has not yet been a clarifying comment from Twitch about why the Twitch star was banned, but speculation is rampant.
This is the ban: When streamers are banned on Twitch, their channel is locked. Automatic services report this. The ban against Dr Disrespect was detected and tweeted by a bot yesterday at 21:01 our time.

As the site Kotaku reports, paid subscribers of Dr Disrespect are being compensated. They are getting their money back.
This indicates that Twitch has revoked Dr Disrespect’s partnership status, which would be very serious. Revoking partnership status does not happen for temporary bans but only for the most severe violations.

Twitch’s official statement is that they take “appropriate actions” when they have evidence that a streamer violates community guidelines. This applies to all streamers, regardless of how prominent they are.
When information comes, it is only from the streamer themselves.
This is what Dr Disrespect says: At the moment, the streamer is not saying anything himself. According to his friend, the streamer Tim The Tatman, Dr Disrespect has informed him that he does not know what is going on. He is talking to Twitch to find out why his channel was banned.

Dr Disrespect’s wife is known under the name “Mrs Assassin.” She thanked the fans for their support in an Instagram story (via instagram). It is overwhelming how much love, support, strength, and kindness flows from the arena.
The story appeared a few hours after the ban of her husband was announced.
In 2017, Disrespect took a longer break from Twitch: According to his own statements, it was because he was unfaithful to his wife and had become a man he did not want to be.
This is what the rumors say: The eSports journalist Rod “Slasher” Breslau reported on Twitter that Dr Disrespect is permanently banned. The ban has nothing to do with “DMCA” – so there are no copyright violations involved. Breslau learned this from “sources.”
However, the journalist does not know more, as he explains on Twitch.
A streamer, Shannon “ShannonZKiller” Plante, wrote in a tweet that she had also heard that the ban is permanent. The situation is “serious.” She says the “Doctor is done and not just on Twitch” – the tweet was later deleted.
As the U.S. site Kotaku reports, she also learned from “3 sources close to Twitch” that the ban is permanent (via kotaku).
This makes the ban so strange: Twitch just signed a multi-year exclusive deal with Dr Disrespect in March 2020. As the site Kotaku reports, Dr Disrespect is supposed to earn $10 million per year with the deal.
Nothing has actually happened in the last few days for which Dr Disrespect should be banned. At least, nothing has become known. However, there is a video from the end of Dr Disrespect’s last stream where he seems to be acting strangely.
In the video, he says: “We will get through this, Champions Club. I know it’s tough. Life is a bit strange right now. We will get through it, okay. Fuck.”
At the moment, Twitch is under pressure to take strong action. There have already been calls for the CEO of Twitch, Emmet Shear, to step down: he is not in control of his platform. However, it is completely unclear whether this situation is related to Dr Disrespect’s ban.
Update June 28, 14:43: After more than 30 hours, there is finally a statement from Dr Disrespect himself.
Dr Disrespect is a character. Behind the macho with the huge mustache is Guy Beahm. He rarely addresses fans as himself and explains what sometimes goes wrong as “Dr Disrespect.” After his ban at E3 2019, he spoke to fans:

Blizzard has trolled players of World of Warcraft hard. For a year, they puzzled over a mystery that doesn’t even exist …
The “Secret Finding” community of World of Warcraft has already celebrated some successes. They found several hidden mounts and even the Belt of Timegold, but also various pets. But one riddle left players clueless for more than a year. Now Blizzard has revealed: Gotcha, the riddle you are looking for doesn’t even exist.
What is it about? It is about the “Pearl of the Abyss”. This is a toy that had already been discovered during data mining of World of Warcraft on the PTR of Patch 8.2. It was a toy associated with Nazjatar and had the (translated) description: “You feel compelled to place the black pearl on your head… why would one do that?!”
For almost a year, players have been searching for this toy and have invested a lot of time in it. Now Blizzard has said: The toy was just a placeholder; it never made it into the live version of the game.
Where does the information come from? Russ Petersen, the Lead Rewards Designer for World of Warcraft, revealed this on Twitter. There he explained: “The Pearl of the Abyss was never obtainable. I am not sure why it was mentioned in the Hotfix patch notes in September 2019, as it was removed from the toy box in June. Sorry for the confusion.”
This is why players are angry: What is particularly frustrating is that Blizzard clearly communicated that the “Pearl of the Abyss” was available in the game. It was specifically mentioned in the patch notes of a hotfix. Since then, players have been searching for this pearl, and collectively invested thousands of hours of playtime to solve one of the last mysteries of World of Warcraft.
That it took Blizzard almost a year – as Patch 8.2 has been live for that long – to finally correct this angers some players.
