Do we already know who the new character in the universe of Destiny 2 is under his helmet? 6 good reasons speak for an old acquaintance whom the players have long wanted to take down.
This is the new trainer: The start for new Guardians in Destiny 2 is quite chaotic. After a brief introduction, players are released into the vastness of the universe rather unprepared – often aimlessly and without guidance. With the release of Beyond Light, Bungie is completely overhauling the onboarding experience for newcomers, nostalgia seekers, and all Free2Play players:
During your first steps, you will encounter the Guardian Shaw Hun. The Hunter guides you through several missions in the Cosmodrome. He is essentially your trainer and teaches you to be a Guardian before you set foot in the last city of humanity.
Proceed at your own risk: May contain spoilers for the story of Beyond Light.
Who is Shaw really? Behind Shaw is allegedly none other than Uldren Sov.
Sure, Guardians love to put on their tin foil hats and come up with absurd theories. But Shaw could really be the lost prince and sought-after murderer that we have been waiting for 2 years – because there is a lot of evidence to support this.
Shaw travels the Cosmodrome with the Khvostov
6 good reasons why Shaw is actually Uldren
Forbes has put together a whole list that sounds very convincing. We present you the evidence.
Clue 1 – the helmet: Almost all known NPCs in Destiny show their face. Only a few conceal their true appearance. These include Saint-14, Shaxx, and the deceased Speaker. It is known that Uldren is ostracized for his appearance and hides as a result. After all, he is responsible for the death of fan-favorite Cayde-6.
The player is supposed to build an emotional connection, and that is much easier when we see Zavala’s face contort or Eva Levante smiling at us during the Halloween event. By the end of the introductory quests, Shaw’s helmet could fall off, revealing the face of the screamer Uldren.
Clue 2 – the Cosmodrome: The new introduction takes place in the familiar Destiny 1 location “Cosmodrome”. We have known for over a year that Uldren is hiding there. A wandering Guardian, newly awakened, could easily run into the wandering prince here.
With Halloween masks, Guardians can currently disguise themselves as Uldren again – of course, his papier-mâché likeness screams at full volume.
Clue 3 – Uldren is a Hunter: Shaw is clearly a Hunter. He wears the characteristic cloak and even a class-specific Exotic. Even before his revival as a Guardian, Uldren was portrayed like a Hunter.
Clue 4 – The Curse of the Dragon: If we take a closer look at his Exotic, we notice that it is the gloves Ahamkara’s Spine. The Ahamkaras are the Destiny version of dragons, and Uldren was cursed by the last specimen.
This ultimately led to the epic revenge story of Forsaken. It would be quite a coincidence if Bungie hands him the exact Exotic that ties Hunters to Ahamkaras. Also, Shaw’s pants are actually gear from the “Last Wish” raid, where the dragon is ultimately slain.
Clue 5 – The Time: About 2 years ago, Uldren woke up without memory as a Guardian. By Christmas 2019, we learned that he is roaming the Cosmodrome but is frightened. That should be enough time to familiarize himself with the area and form a team.
As we now wander through the foreign area, similar to him without knowledge, he might feel sympathy or follow his fate, bringing us to the Tower and taking up his post there.
Therefore, speculation has been ongoing since September that we will encounter him here as an NPC. Shaw’s cloak conceals the spot where the symbol should be in the known image.
What do you think, is the evidence overwhelming and Shaw is indeed Uldren? Could you forgive the murderer of Cayde and find it exciting that he is training the new Guardians?
Or do you think that Bungie has included a reference to the “Fast & Furious” film series here? Because in the gasoline and testosterone-fueled action cinema, the good-natured Han gets taken out by the bad boy Shaw.
With Shadowlands, World of Warcraft receives its eighth expansion. Many players are already exploring the raid and the dungeons here. From their performance, a first DPS ranking can already be derived.
What does the ranking show? With the values shown here, you get a rough overview of which classes are currently at the top in the upcoming expansion Shadowlands in terms of damage.
This only concerns pure DPS. Special mechanics of bosses and classes, as well as circumstances like group composition are not taken into account.
Where do the numbers come from? The website wowmeta.com collects data from players in the beta who are completing both the first Mythic+ dungeons and the first raid, Castle Nathria in Revendreth.
Currently, there are 167 evaluated logs and we show you the average performance of the classes, not their maximum DPS.
The numbers are updated regularly. Note, however, that only players whose logs can be accessed are considered. This usually does not correspond to the full amount of testers. Current status: October 5, 2020.
The strongest classes at the start of Shadowlands – DPS ranking
These are all classes in the ranking: Don’t be alarmed by the low numbers in the table. In Shadowlands, there is a level squish from 120 to 60 as the maximum level.
As a result, the DPS values are significantly lower than in the current DPS list of WoW and are only about one-tenth as large.
Oops, unfortunately this table is no longer available.
The table shows that the destruction warlock and the assassination rogue are far ahead in 1st and 2nd place. The classes afterwards are relatively close together again, with no major jumps, at least until the last places. Enhancement shamans and fire mages are currently lagging noticeably behind.
This may be partly due to the fact that the first bosses and mechanics in Shadowlands favor these two classes, and partly because the balancing is not yet complete.
The numbers also relate to the currently ongoing beta of Shadowlands and do not necessarily reflect the performance that the classes can deliver at release. Class balancing is usually one of the last steps.
Which class should I play? It depends on what you want to do. If it’s purely about damage, you can easily orient yourself towards the top classes of the ranking.
However, the gameplay style of many classes is quite different and they often bring unique abilities. What is more important is: Play a class that you enjoy.
Should I avoid weak classes? Just because some specializations are currently at the back of the rankings does not mean they are inherently bad. The subtlety rogue, for example, can be a valuable tool for the group in certain combinations, as it brings many useful abilities. Furthermore, the gap to the stronger classes is not that large.
Playing the Shadowlands beta and release
How can I participate in the beta? If you want to play the beta yourself, it’s sufficient to sign up for participation. After that, you just need to wait for an invitation. In our article, we reveal everything important about the Shadowlands beta.
Is it worth leveling? Definitely. If you want to start with one of the strong classes in Shadowlands, you can easily start leveling them now. With the current experience buff, it goes quite quickly.
If you prefer to wait, Shadowlands will provide a completely new leveling experience. Leveling will even be a bit faster there. However, those who put in the groundwork now can dive directly into the new content later.
However, Patch 9.0 goes live on October 13 as planned, which already brings some changes
and prepares you for Shadowlands.
After that, it will still take a few weeks for Shadowlands to be fully released. During this time, a famous event will return, preparing you for the release and it is supposed to happen in phases over a few weeks. A specific date for the pre-patch, the event, and the release is not yet known, but based on the information available so far, a start can be inferred around late October to mid-November.

The biggest loser of the LoL Worlds 2020 is Team Solo Mid with stars Bjergsen and Doublelift. The “0-6” elimination is historic. Opponents express that it hurts a lot. Even the players themselves found it embarrassing how they performed at the World Championship in the League of Legends.
That’s why TSM’s elimination is so bitter: Already after the first 3 games we wrote: The biggest stars of the USA are sinking. Since then, it has only gotten worse.
Team Solo Mid came as the “number 1” seed from the USA to the Worlds 2020. They were the nominally strongest team in their region and were drawn into a group with the “weaker” teams from other regions:
With number 2 from Europe, Fnatic
with number 3 from Korea, Gen G
and with number 4 from China, LGD Gaming
However, TSM could not win a single game and finished with 0-6 in the Worlds. This is the first time that a “number 1” seed is eliminated without a win.

TSM has the mid laner “Bjergsen” and bot laner “Doublelift”, the two names in US LoL, which have had the most beautiful sound and the greatest appeal for years.
In popularity polls after the All-Stars, the two regularly rank at the top.
Doublelift and Bjergsen are the 2 stars in US LoL.
TSM simply lets the biggest chances slip
What was the reason? TSM simply wasn’t good enough and group C was considered from the start as the “death group.” Because even number 3 from Korea is filled with stars, and number 4 from China is still very strong.
The stars of TSM, on the other hand, did not reach their normal form in the tournament. As an example of failure, this clip now mainly serves:
The jungler of TSM, Spica, can catch all 5 opponents from Gen G with one ability, leaving them exposed so the rest of TSM can kill them. But TSM does not recognize this incredible opportunity and misses it.

The commentators in the match almost go crazy when they realize what’s happening. Instead of executing the exciting play that turns the match, TSM simply walks away and down the mid lane.
According to an analysis on Inven, TSM simply was not at the level of current LoL (via inven):
They did not recognize the meta properly. Bot laner Doublelift can only play a few champions and is stuck to Senna, although he has no success with her.
Then they want to play through the top lane, but Broken Blade could not capitalize on his advantages, even though he was pushed forward and received many ganks.
The individual skill simply seems insufficient: In a “best and worst” list by Inven (via Inven), top laner Broken Blade and the stars of the team, Bjergsen and Doublelift, all landed in the “worst” area. They all did not reach their potential.
TSM did not fail despite their top stars, but because of them.
For Doublelift, the World Championship was a rude awakening.
Who is currently stepping on TSM? The Korean side conducted interviews with the group opponents of TSM. Everyone has something to say about TSM:
Selfmade from Fnatic says about the death group C (via inven):
“It was a strong group with teams that were close together – except for TSM. I think we can agree on that.”
Selfmade
Jungler Clid from Gen G is asked if they seemed a bit too complacent (via inven):
“Yes, we became complacent because our opponents were TSM.”
Clid
The class difference between TSM and the other teams in the group is emphasized repeatedly. There is consensus: TSM was an “easy” opponent with big problems. They were not aggressive enough and did not put enough pressure on opponents.
On Twitter, there are discussions about whether it would be better to take away the 3rd spot for the USA for the Worlds 2021. But caster Captain Flowers clearly analyzes:
The USA is still better than all smaller regions
But much worse than the top 3

If you think the pros were already mean to Team Solo Mid, you might not want to look at social media or Reddit to see how much mockery and nastiness the fans pour over TSM.
This is how TSM reacts: Star mid laner Bjergsen tweeted: “Embarrassing.”
He received support from fans. They encouraged him to keep his head up. Others, however, suggested he should step down. He should make way for “young, hungry players”.

Bot laner Doublelift takes the elimination with humor. He suffered from the “3-3” curse. He often faced an unfortunate elimination in the group stage of the Worlds with 3-3. This year he says: “Finally broke the 3-3 curse, but in the wrong direction.”
No good prospects for US LoL
What’s behind it: Fairly speaking, the group C was extremely tough and punished every mistake. For TSM, it was actually a success to win the LCS, realistically there was little to gain at the Worlds.
However, the visible class difference gives fans and players of the team a lot to think about. They are hyped for a year and look like superstars, only to be completely disenchanted in the 6 games at the World Championship.
As in 2019, all US teams were eliminated in the group stage, which could also happen to teams in the coming years.
Before the start of the Worlds, TSM already had a tumultuous year behind them. In the discussion was mainly Leena Xu, the head of esports for the team. She is not only the manager of TSM but also Doublelift’s girlfriend. When he joined TSM, the team became stronger, but problems started to emerge on other fronts:
More details about the Monster Hunter movie are gradually being revealed. Recently, it was confirmed that an old fan favorite will have a role and will even fry the protagonist.
Monster Hunter is finally getting a movie in December. It had few fans after its first teaser, but director Paul W.S. Anderson unveiled more details at the New York Comic Con.
Palicos are also supposed to play a role in the new film; a Monster Hunter without the cat companions is inconceivable. Moreover, the popular chef from Monster Hunter World will also be featured. However, his appearance and relationship with the protagonist are a bit different from what one might expect.
The tough Palico delicately refines the cafeteria food
Flirty “Miauskulärer Koch”
The Miauskulärer Koch is known from Monster Hunter World. There, he is the cook in the capital Astera, which was already present in the base game. In this canteen, you can eat and thereby strengthen your character for missions.
Originally, the cooking Palico was the companion of the Admiral but then retired to become a chef. However, the traces of battle are still very evident on him.
In the film, the Admiral is played by Ron Perlman, known from Hellboy. His little feline friend is very attracted to the protagonist, Captain Artemis, portrayed by Milla Jovovich. He regularly flirts with her. Anderson called their relationship “interesting”.
The protagonist Captain Artemis in the Monster Hunter film, played by Milla Jovovich
It is definitely interesting, considering that Captain Artemis finds herself in a strange world, is attacked by huge monsters, and then a more or less cat shows interest in her. We can definitely expect that the charming chef will provide some laughs in the film.
Have more details been revealed? Anderson, along with the developers of Monster Hunter World, showcased a few monsters from the game. In the video, you can see how Diablos, Rathalos, and the smaller Aptonoth are depicted compared to the game:

The cooperative RPG Genshin Impact offers a wide selection of colorful characters with various weapons and abilities. Which ones are your favorites?
This is the character system in Genshin Impact: In the Chinese cooperative RPG Genshin Impact, you can obtain various characters throughout the game and through the so-called Gacha mechanics.
Every character has several gameplay aspects that distinguish him or her. These include, for example:
The weapon (sword, bow, spear, etc.)
The role in the group (DPS, support, healer)
The element (Cryo, Geo, Pyro, Hydro, etc.)
Overall, you can collect up to 23 different characters, apart from the two main characters Lumine and Aether. However, only 4 can be in your group at the same time.
It can sometimes be quite challenging to decide which of the many playable characters to include in your active group. Therefore, we want to create a ranking list of the most popular Genshin characters that you always have in your group together with you.
So let’s get started: Which characters from Genshin Impact are your favorites? What does your group composition look like? Is it always the same, or do you switch around? Do you follow the tier list, or do you just pick characters that you think are particularly cool? Tell us in the comments.
You can read more about the Genshin tier list in our article:
How can I vote? You can vote using the survey tool under the article. Since the number of playable characters in Genshin is large, each participant can select up to 6 different characters they particularly enjoy playing.
Once you have made your choice, you cannot change it.
In the beta of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, some players found hints about something that shouldn’t exist anymore – namely loot boxes. Fear of a possible return spread among fans. However, Activision has now reassured them.
What is the loot box find in the Cold War beta all about? The first phase of the open beta of Black Ops Cold War is running until tonight (October 12) at 7:00 PM – currently only on PS4. And there, some players discovered an unpleasant surprise.
Some players saw a pop-up menu during the CoD Cold War beta that mentioned one of the tabs about reserves. There was (at least visually) the possibility to buy reserve crates or whole bundles of them.
Reserves or reserve crates were essentially nothing other than the hated loot boxes in Black Ops 4, which could be earned or bought.
Black Ops Cold War is supposed to rely on the same system as Modern Warfare – so a battle pass and free post-launch content for everyone through the seasonal model, as well as cosmetic direct purchases in the in-game shop. Loot boxes should no longer exist.
So what’s going on? Are the controversial loot boxes possibly making a return, which Activision had supposedly abolished with Modern Warfare?
Hint about loot boxes is a bug
This is what Activision says about the reserves in the Cold War beta: The publisher Activision and developer Treyarch have now commented on the matter and are trying to alleviate players’ fears.
Initially, the community manager of Treyarch responded to this in a related Reddit post. It states: “As context: This is a bug where a placeholder user interface from Black Ops 4 remained in a template for the ‘message of the day’.”
The battle pass system from Modern Warfare remains in Cold War
What does this mean concretely? In short: No, the loot boxes are not making a return. So you don’t have to worry that some weapons might only be available through reserve crates (like in BO4).
All gameplay-relevant items such as new base weapons can be earned freely by all players through the free reward branch of the battle pass. The paid branch only includes cosmetics.
All post-launch content such as new maps, zombie experiences, or events will be available to all players on all platforms for free.
Why hated? Even though Black Ops 4 was not a bad game, there was always trouble and tension due to microtransactions, loot boxes, and an aggressive monetization system. Many viewed the game as designed to extract as much extra money from players as possible – and this was, mind you, a full-price title with a paid season pass.
The loot boxes, including the reserves or reserve crates, which could be purchased with CoD points (i.e., for real money) or later earned, were a central element of that. These contained, among other things, weapons that could not be obtained in any other way. The content was always dependent on chance and could not be previewed in advance.
With the launch of Modern Warfare, Activision fundamentally changed the system. There are no more loot boxes; the new model is seen by most as fair and finally as a good compromise. And as Activision has now clarified, nothing will change with Black Ops Cold War. The monetization system from Modern Warfare will also remain in the new Call of Duty 2020.
Luck is simply part of Hearthstone . But even the first move can ensure that the opponent is left with no options.
Luck plays a big role in Hearthstone. This is often criticized, but it seems unavoidable in a card game. However, over the years the cards themselves have become more powerful, and the first moves can already determine the outcome of the game. This was something a player experienced, who almost decided the match in turn 1.
What happened? The player JoeChuck published a screenshot from one of his recent matches. Although the game had just started with turn 1, the round is virtually over. Because after the first move, JoeChuck has such overwhelming power on the board that there is practically no escape. With potential 17 points of damage, two attacks would be sufficient to secure victory.
How does it work? JoeChuck must have used up all his luck for this year on that move. For this “combo” to work, he essentially needs the perfect starting hand. These are:
2x Lightning Bloom
1x Rattle Gore
Lightning Bloom grants 2 additional mana crystals for one turn, allowing JoeChuck to increase his mana pool to 5 in the first turn. This, in turn, allows him to immediately play Rattle Gore. This minion transforms into a random other legendary minion in hand each turn and grants him the stats 5/5.
In turn 1, it turned into Jandice Barov, a legendary minion from the Scholomance expansion. Jandice, in turn, summons two additional random minions for 5 mana when summoned, one of whom dies immediately when taking damage.
As fate would have it, Jandice summons another Rattle Gore and simultaneously a powerful Earth Elemental with 7/8 and Taunt. This is one of the most powerful minions for 5 mana.
Is there still a chance to win? No. Especially in the case shown above, the Demon Hunter had no chance at all. The class has hardly any ways to deal with enemy minions early on. Two turns later, the game was already over.
Other classes, such as Warriors, Priests, or Mages might have been able to avert or at least delay the impending doom with some luck and the right cards. However, the Demon Hunter is not only blindfolded but also has his hands tied. There was no escape for him.
The MMORPG Guild Wars 2 is set to receive its next expansion “End of Dragons” in 2021. However, details about it are still scarce. A new leak promises many interesting contents – but how realistic is it?
How credible is this? The leak regarding the “End of Dragons” expansion first surfaced in September. In recent days, it has been frequently shared and discussed in streams. Only a text published on pastebin.com was released, compiled by someone claiming to have insider information. Who exactly is behind it remains unclear.
Much of the text sounds like the desires of a player. End of Dragons would, according to the description, become the largest expansion to date. This seems rather unlikely given the mass layoffs in early 2019. Nevertheless, let’s look at the mentioned points in detail.
New races are possible, but unlikely
What does the leak say about the races? According to the leak, End of Dragons will introduce 2 new playable races, although they will be quite different from the existing 5:
They start directly at level 80, instead of level 1
They have no unique racial skills
They will not be able to partake in the old story
They are supposed to have similar skeletons to humans or Charr for the Tengu, making armor easily adaptable to the characters
Tengus, the bird-like beings, have been around since Guild Wars 1. Many players wish for them to be a playable race.
How realistic is this? New playable races are highly sought after by some Guild Wars 2 fans. They are among the features players want for a new expansion. Additionally, each previous expansion in the game had a unique feature, whether it was the first new class (HoT) or mounts (PoF).
However, Guild Wars 2 primarily struggles with a lack of long-term content in its expansions. Within a few days, the content of PoF was completed, and new episodes of the Icebrood Saga often only bind players for a few hours.
New races are labor-intensive and offer no real value to many players who do not wish to switch races or dive directly into a new one. It seems unlikely that the developers will focus on something that will only interest a portion of the player base as a large feature for End of Dragons.
New elite specializations are a must, but will these be it?
What does the leak say about elite specializations? According to the leak, 5 out of the 9 elite specializations (each class receiving one) are already known:
Elementalist: Assassin specialization with dual pistols – is said to be very acrobatic and will include “magical” orbs for the weapons
Guardian: Shaman specialization with totems that pulse and provide effects. Uses the trident, which has only been available underwater so far
Necromancer: A type of warlock with a shortbow – is supposed to have AoE effects and an undead servant as a replica of itself.
Mesmer: Bard specialization with music and a flute
Ranger: Beastmaster specialization with a kind of whip and glyphs that are supposed to be similar to the elementalist’s
The classes Warrior, Thief, and Engineer are expected to receive underwater weapons for their specializations as well. The Revenant is not mentioned at all in the leak
In 2015, Rangers became Druids, are they now going to have a strong focus on beast mastery?
How realistic is this? New elite specializations are content that is essentially mandatory for a new expansion in Guild Wars 2. They expand the classes with new weapons and playstyles and have been included in the other two expansions as well.
However, many players doubt that so many underwater weapons will be utilized. While spear, harpoon, and trident could also be used on land, pure underwater specializations are practically excluded – due to the lack of opportunities provided by the current content in Guild Wars 2.
A lot of content for an expansion that is born out of necessity
What is striking about the leak? In addition to the playable races and elite specializations, the leak promises many new features, such as housing, a completely new equipment system, and much more.
Furthermore, the expansion is supposed to include 6 major areas, among them the Echo Forest, the island of Shing Jea with a major meta event, Kaineng, and 3 other zones.
This would make End of Dragons have the most areas of all expansions (Hot brought 4 areas + 2 guild halls, PoF contained 5 and 1 guild hall) and would also offer many surrounding innovations.
Heart of Thorns only brought 4 new areas, but they were vertical and often provided multiple levels.
How realistic is this? End of Dragons seems somewhat like an expansion that was born out of necessity. According to Jessica Price, a former employee of ArenaNet who parted ways in a dispute, there were plans suggesting that Guild Wars 2 could have ended with the 4th season of the Living World.
The teaser for the new expansion came at a time when the game was notably struggling. Nothing indicated a project of such magnitude. That it suddenly should become larger than previously planned expansions seems quite unrealistic at this point.
End of Dragons – What would be realistic
For the new expansion, I certainly expect new areas, a new story, group content, and elite specializations. However, these contents alone will require much development time.
A feature like new playable races, expansions to the equipment system, or housing seems possible. Having all three at once, however, seems unlikely to me.
In my opinion, the leak contains many things players wish for, but it also exaggerates in some areas, such as with 2 new cities for the races. Since the current cities like the Grove or Rata Sum are scarcely used, it would be a lot of wasted developer time.
In Genshin Impact, the co-op event “Elemental Furnace” has started. It is the first event since the release of the co-op RPG. We will show you the rewards and tell you how to make the most of it.
What kind of event is this? This is a co-op event. You can only play it in co-op and not alone. It runs until October 19 and rewards you for fighting waves of monsters in a group.
As the name of the event suggests, you must heat up an Elemental Furnace. You do this by collecting Elemental Clusters that you find on a game field.
However, you can only enter the game field with multiple players. If none of your friends are available, you can also play with random online players.
Waves of enemies will appear on the game field over time. Between those, the Elemental Clusters will show up, which you need to collect and throw into the furnace. If you’ve collected enough, the round is completed, and you will receive rewards.
All information about the co-op event in Genshin Impact
These are the requirements: Not every player can participate. You must meet certain requirements to take part in the co-op event:
You must have reached adventure level 20 at least
You must have completed all quests of the 2nd prologue act “For a Tomorrow Without Tears”
The quest “A Giant Leap for Alchemy?” by Timaeus must be completed
Here’s how to get started: If you have met all these requirements, you can dive into the event. First, you need to talk to Timaeus again. He will send you to the Temple of a Thousand Winds. There you can start the co-op event and fight against waves of enemies together with friends or random teammates.
Here are the rewards: This is where it gets a bit tricky. The rewards are given after completing the quest. However, you need to pay 40 Original Resin to do so. So you cannot repeat the quest infinitely, as eventually, you will run out of Original Resin.
When you pay 40 Original Resin, there will be different loot available depending on the world level. It doesn’t matter what world level your teammates have during the quest. Each player receives the appropriate loot for their world level.
Additionally, there are further rewards in the Alchemy Handbook. They depend on your success in the previous combat. You need to complete alchemical processes or defeat incoming enemies, for example.
Among the rewards, you can find 300 Starglitter waiting for you. For these rewards, you don’t need any Original Resin.
You can also find an overview of the rewards in this YouTube video starting at minute 3:54:

How to make the most of the event: There are several things you can consider to get the most out of the event.
Before the round starts, make sure which character you want to use for the fight. You cannot change characters during the quest. Be sure to check out our tier list for Genshin Impact. We show you the best fighters there.
When collecting Elemental Clusters, make sure to only collect one cluster and bring it directly to the furnace. If you collect multiple clusters, you will lose the first cluster you collected, and no other player can collect it anymore.
Try to collect Elemental Clusters of the same type. If you do this, you can transport those clusters more efficiently after a certain time.
You should try to fulfill all the tasks from the Alchemy Handbook. These are basically free items that you should grab. You can replay the quest as many times as you want – provided you have 40 Original Resin per round to receive the rewards.
It is important that you don’t rush to get all the rewards. The event will last for several days, and you will receive free Original Resin every day. You can earn up to 180 Original Resin per day.
You can run the quest at least 4 times per day and grab your rewards. This is plenty of time to complete all the tasks from the Alchemy Handbook by the end of the event and furthermore bag additional rewards each round.
Is the event worth it? Definitely! You can gather quite a bit of loot each round. One of the highlights is the 300 Starglitter, which you can obtain from the Alchemy Handbook.
In general, in Genshin Impact, you should proceed rather slowly. The developers have already revealed that the upcoming update will take some time:
It is not easy to successfully sustain MMORPGs in the market over a long time. Therefore, today we present to you 5 online role-playing games that started strong and are still running, but that hardly anyone has on their radar anymore.
At the beginning of the millennium, MMORPGs were considered the big genre. Many games came out vying for the player base. Some, like World of Warcraft or The Elder Scrolls Online, managed to remain successful even today. But that was not the case for every online RPG.
In this list, we present you with genre representatives that were released after World of Warcraft. These are titles that have not been discontinued, but that you can still play today. However, little of their initial success remains, and the titles are no longer really relevant.
What these titles have in common:
All games started successfully
The release took place after WoW
You can still play them today
The number of players and also the interest in the MMORPG genre has decreased so much that hardly anyone is interested anymore
They now have less than 500 players according to Steamcharts

The MMORPG Age of Conan is aimed at adult players.
Age of Conan
Developer: Funcom | Platform: PC | Release Date: May 20, 2008
What is Age of Conan? Age of Conan was launched in 2008 with the subtitle “Hyborian Adventures.” The game immerses you in the world of Hyboria, the setting of the Conan novels by author Robert E. Howard.
In the role of a soldier, rogue, priest, or mage, divided into three subclasses each, you explore a large world where NPCs assign you quests. The battles against enemies occur actively, with your attack direction being particularly important. Enemies can be hit from different sides.
The rather brutal fights earned the game a USK rating of 18 years and older.
How did the game start? The launch went very well. In the first five weeks, over a million copies of the MMORPG Age of Conan: Hybrian Adventures were sold. Additionally, the game received several awards.

What does it look like today? Today the MMORPG is still playable under the title Age of Conan: Unchained. In 2013, it shifted to a Free2Play model. However, this did not really help the MMORPG to achieve great success. New content arrived too slowly, and there were constant technical issues.
In spring 2017, Funcom put the game into a “Maintenance Mode.” This means that hardly any new content follows, but the operation of the game will continue.
According to Steamcharts, the number of players currently lies at 68 simultaneous users, with a peak of 141 players in the past 30 days (as of October 12, 2020).
Why did the game fail? There was criticism of bugs right at launch, which were only addressed slowly over a long period of time. This drove away some players. PvP and the crafting system do not work properly.
Essentially, the MMORPG was released unfinished and failed to achieve a good status quickly, costing Age of Conan a significant part of its community.
In the MMORPG on the next page, players are on floating islands.

Season 6 of Call of Duty: Warzone shook up the meta with its two broken OP weapons. After the nerf of the overperformers, MeinMMO shows you the tier list of the battle royale.
How did you compile the list? In this list, you will find all the weapons that play a role in Warzone and deliver the best performance. We categorize the best weapons in Warzone into 3 tiers:
S-Tier: The meta weapons with the best mix of stability and damage.
A-Tier: Weapons that either provide strong alternatives to S-Tier or are specialists.
B-Tier: These guns are somewhat lagging behind due to more popular alternatives, but they still belong to the best weapons.
To compile the list, we watched many videos and reports from Warzone players and incorporated our own experience. You can find the most important sources at the bottom of the article.
The right weapon can give you an advantage, but it’s not a guarantee of victory.
S-Tier – Always worth considering
Kilo 141
Grau 5.56
M4A1
MP5
In Warzone, you often engage in battles at longer ranges than in regular multiplayer. Therefore, you’ll find stable weapons in this category that can secure kills even at long distances. Three very similar assault rifles are particularly strong and popular here – all three share a damage profile and differ in rate of fire and handling:
Grau 5.56 – very stable, low damage
Kilo 141 – not quite as stable, but more damage
M4A1 – slightly less stable, but again more damage
Depending on how much recoil you’re willing to accept, choose one of these assault rifles for your all-around weapons. In A-Tier, you’ll find more damage, but the recoil will increase. For Warzone, these three are the optimal choice if you want to hit reliably and damage is secondary for you.
The fourth weapon is the MP5. Whether as a secondary to a sniper rifle or a close combat alternative alongside your all-around weapons – the MP5 stands by you. It fits into S-Tier because it takes down enemies reliably and quickly at both short and medium range. Also one of the best weapons in Modern Warfare multiplayer.
The M4A1 has been a top choice in CoD MW from the start and is now also the first choice in Warzone.
A-Tier – Strong Alternative & Specialists
R9-0 with Dragon’s Breath
HDR
SP-R 208
CR-56 AMAX
RAM-7
Bruen Mk9
MP7
FAL
A-Tier gathers the specialists among the weapons and alternatives to S-Tier.
Let’s start with the R9-0 with Dragon’s Breath. This thing slams fire rounds into your enemies and leaves them scorched after just 2 quick hits. Up to 8.5 meters, this is the best weapon, taking down enemies with even inaccurate shots in less than 200 milliseconds – no matter how thick the enemy’s armor is.
Next up are the sniper rifles. Due to the large area of Warzone, snipers are a popular class, and since they can take down enemies with just one headshot, they are also incredibly strong. Among the current top rifles are the purebred sniper rifle HDR and the new DMR SP-R 208. The HDR shines with excellent target stability and high bullet speed. The SP-R, on the other hand, gets into aim more quickly and allows for faster shots. However, headshots with the SP-R are very important, which requires a lot of practice and skill.
A-Tier is also home to three all-round weapons. The Bruen Mk9 was once the overpowered weapon in Warzone but got nerfed and now ranks lower. It is still very stable but falls short on damage. On the other hand, the AMAX and RAM-7 shine with their damage but need to be tamed. If you can handle the two damage monsters, you will always have an advantage over the S-Tier all-rounders – but the recoil is noticeably higher than with a Grau or Kilo.
As alternative secondary weapons, the MP7 and FAL can still make their mark. The submachine gun MP7 is the only SMG on the 10 most stable weapons in Warzone, can take a 60-round magazine, and allows for easy kills at short and medium range. While it can’t compete with the damage of the MP5, this weapon rewards you with pleasant recoil behavior. The FAL, on the other hand, deals outstanding damage but plays quite uniquely as a semi-automatic rifle. Still a strong choice for kills at short to medium distance.
The AMAX offers massive damage but requires more skills to hit.
B-Tier – Still strong, but with better alternatives
AS VAL
AUG
AX-50
Kar 98k
Origin
FiNN LMG
PKM
M13
The following weapons are also among the best guns in Warzone and with their use, you can keep up with the others. However, the guns in higher tiers are considered somewhat better, but not by much. Little details make the difference.
The new AS VAL is considered the only assault rifle in the list rather as a secondary weapon. This thing works very well as an SMG replacement because it deals outstanding damage at short to medium ranges. A disadvantage is that you have only a small magazine, which is why the weapon does not rank higher. As a third SMG, the AUG barely holds its place in the list. Although it is a bit wobbly, it deals good damage and has acceptable range.
For one-shot sniper rifles, you can also rely on the Kar 98k and AX-50. If you feel more comfortable with these weapons than with the A-Tier alternatives or have simply become more accustomed to them, you can also reach your targets with these two. In detail, HDR and SP-R 208 are better, but the differences are marginal and the two B-Tier weapons are also a good choice.
In close combat, the Origin still performs well. Unlike the R9-0, you can quickly fire all bullets in the magazine and take down enemies at close ranges in record time. It plays a bit easier than the R9-0 with Dragon’s Breath, but it also doesn’t quite achieve the damage of the fire weapon.
Lastly, there are a few all-around weapons on the list. One would be the FiNN LMG and the M13. Both are extremely accurate, and you can hit moving targets with ease. However, the FiNN is slow and plays a bit sluggishly. In contrast, the M13 causes relatively low damage and uses a lot of ammo due to its high fire rate. The PKM hits hard but requires more corrections while firing, as you feel the recoil significantly.
As a little extra, check out the 725 with slug ammunition. The slugs were recently buffed and now offer significantly more range and with the 725 even one-shot kills when you land a headshot. On Twitter, the user “@Elgoomtaf” posted a video showing what is currently possible with the part:

Definitely worth a try and really strong. Unfortunately, the 725 shotgun only has a two-round magazine, but what you can do with those two looks really fun.
The right weapon gets you halfway in Warzone; the rest is a good strategy. Each round plays out differently, but if you set aside a guide, you’ll play more successfully. Here you can find the strategy guide from the most successful Warzone player ever.

The last call for the most expensive mount so far in World of Warcraft. In less than 48 hours the super mount with the auction house will no longer be available.
The last hours before the big pre-patch 9.0 have begun in World of Warcraft. While most players are looking forward to the new content, such as the level squish or more character customizations, a group is starting to feel anxious. Many players are desperately trying to scrape together 5 million gold coins before a coveted mount disappears into oblivion.
What is it about? We’re talking about the Mighty Caravan Brutosaurus. This giant mount can only be purchased until Wednesday morning (October 14th) from the vendors Talut (Dazar’alor, Horde) or the cunning Nick (Boralus, Alliance). It costs a whopping 5,000,000 gold coins, making it the currently most expensive mount in the game.
The Brutosaurus costs 5 million – but only a few hours left.
Laughing with memes about the loss: The World of Warcraft subreddit has some memes and comments about the Brutosaurus. Many players have tried to obtain the mount in recent months. But now, in the final moments, anxiety suddenly rises. Some are stuck at 4.6 million gold and realize that it might not be enough to get the Brutosaurus in time. That’s how this little video came about, summarizing the players’ despair:

Why is the mount so coveted? Partly due to its exclusivity. A mount that is only available for a limited time naturally sparks the desire to own it. However, the mount is also popular with other players. In Boralus, it pleases other players when someone rides the Brutosaurus and offers an auction house. It saves a trip to Stormwind or any of the other capitals, as transactions can be made directly on-site.
Can the mount still be obtained? Yes, but it will be significantly harder. Instead of buying the Caravan Brutosaurus directly from a vendor, it occasionally appears in the black market auction house. There, it will likely be fiercely contested, meaning prices will surely exceed the 5,000,000 gold coins. Also, it may take weeks or even months before the dino shows up there.
In recent years, there has been a trend for developer teams to make big plans for MMOs and MMORPGs and want to finance them through crowdfunding. The sci-fi epic Star Citizen has been wildly successful with this. The MMORPG Chronicles of Elyria has failed. Crowfall and Camelot Unchained fall somewhere in between. Our author Schuhmann looks at the phenomenon.
This is the idea of crowdfunding: The basic idea when financing an MMO through crowdfunding is roughly as follows:
I have an idea for a game that I know people want to play
But I can’t find a publisher who believes in this idea or in me enough to fund it OR I could find a publisher, but I don’t want to because I want to implement my own vision without someone in a suit interfering. I’m fed up with them anyway
Crowdfunding is a good way to finance and develop manageable projects that reach a clear fan base.
However, for MMORPGs, this model has proven to be problematic over the last 8 years. These very MMOs and MMORPGs that are developed through crowdfunding often lead to frustration and anger:
Others keep pushing their milestones further back. It takes on bizarre dimensions. The single-player campaign of Star Citizen was originally supposed to be released in 2014. It is still far away in 2020.
You hardly hear anything about games for years, although it looked years ago as if they would be released in a few months.
Such news leads to frustration among players who have invested money in the MMOs and thus became “backers”.
This is Chris Roberts, the mastermind behind Star Citizen.
We will look at 4 cases of crowdfunding in MMOs and MMORPGs:
The MMORPG Chronicles of Elyria started crowdfunding on Kickstarter in 2016 and raised $1.36 million. Later, the studio raised an additional $7.7 million through its own website
The MMO Star Citizen began its crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter in 2012, then switched to its own site. The crowdfunding was subsequently supported by the sale of virtual ships. By now, Star Citizen has raised $314,809,243 – a huge budget
The MMORPG Crowfall launched its Kickstarter campaign in 2015, raising $1.76 million. Additional funds came through a campaign on its own site
Camelot Unchained started on Kickstarter in 2013, where it raised $2.2 million. A campaign on its own website further increased the total
In all 4 cases, the “original” campaign on Kickstarter raised only a fraction of what was later additionally obtained through donations, actions on their own site, or from investors.
Chronicles of Elyria had huge ambitions, but has only been causing grief for years.
Chronicles of Elyria – Great Ambitions, Great Disappointment
This is what happens when crowdfunding fails: The probably worst example of failed crowdfunding is the MMORPG “Chronicles of Elyria.”
The studio raised $1.36 million through crowdfunding in 2016. A further $7.7 million was obtained through crowdfunding on their own site.
In early demos, the game looked a bit like “The Witcher”.
But even this budget was nowhere near enough to finish the game. The developers said they originally planned to bring a publisher on board and then develop the game. That failed. Now they had to change their plans. That apparently didn’t work.
Star Citizen is a game of superlatives, even featuring Hollywood actors.
Star Citizen is at $314 million and keeps growing
This is what happens when crowdfunding succeeds: The most successful example of crowdfunding in the MMO space is Star Citizen. It has now raised over $300 million via crowdfunding. The enthusiasm for the game is enormous.
The visionary game developer Chris Roberts has made a name for himself with the franchise “Wing Commander.” Since 2010, he has managed to excite fans about his idea of developing a space epic.
Star Citizen was originally supposed to be released in November 2014 as a relatively small game. However, due to the huge success in crowdfunding, which kept growing, the project has continued to expand. Numerous additional features were promised as stretch goals.
Star Citizen fulfills the fantasies of many: finally live in a sci-fi universe.
By now, Cloud Imperium Games, the company behind Star Citizen, is a huge studio with offices in California, Texas, Manchester, Derby, and Frankfurt am Main.
Star Citizen is in a playable alpha, but the release of the single-player campaign “Star Squadron” has already been postponed multiple times. And there is growing discontent about when the game will finally be released.
Crowfall and Camelot Unchained – Beta is starting now, but really soon
This is what happens when crowdfunding runs “normally”: There are two MMORPGs from experienced veterans that aimed to address a clear niche of fans:
Camelot Unchained by Marc Jacobs aims to become a sandbox PVP game – Jacobs is known for the MMORPGs “Dark Age of Camelot” and “Warhammer Online”
Crowfall by J. Todd Coleman is heading in a similar direction – Coleman was behind the MMORPG “Shadowbane”
There are several parallels:
Both games had very early release dates that they could not meet and that kept being pushed back. The back and forth about release dates for Crowfall and Camelot Unchained has been and is maddening.
Both games had a “pretty good crowdfunding” run on Kickstarter, but later switched to investor money.
With this switch, both games became significantly quieter. While initially they stirred up publicity and tried to explain the games “to the people out there,” they now seem to focus on development and have significantly reduced the hype around the games.
This leads to the strange situation where both games looked like they would be “coming out any moment” about 5 years ago, but in reality, they are still in development even in 2020. In the meantime, Crowfall at least offers a substantial beta, which MeinMMO editor Alexander Leitsch played.
Camelot Unchained has been supposed to be the thing for years.
These are patterns in the crowdfunding of MMOs: In all games, we see several identical patterns:
Early release dates are mentioned that have no substance and are regularly broken and pushed back. It’s absurd how dates are shifted backward and how often certain milestones are reset
The “target amount” in crowdfunding campaigns does not really matter. The actual necessary budget for an MMO is much higher than the approximately $2 million that one can raise through Kickstarter. The additional millions must be obtained elsewhere, either through investors or further crowdfunding
The community of games becomes “initiated,” receiving exclusive information. They feel like “co-developers” and defend their game against criticism from the “unenlightened”. A siege mentality arises
With crowdfunding, one simply cannot be honest as an MMO
Why do MMOs and crowdfunding not go together? The fundamental problem of MMOs and MMORPGs is that they consume a lot of money and require such a long development time, that since 2014, hardly any publisher is willing to invest in it. However, there is a high demand for the games. Therefore, the path through crowdfunding seems reasonable.
However, if one were “honest” with the players, no one would donate:
There would be huge target amounts
And eternally distant release dates. Even a beta would be at least 5 years away at the start on Kickstarter
On “We need $150 million and the release is in 7 years – you can donate $30 here” would probably hardly anyone agree. So they seek $800,000 and promise the customer that they will have the game in 18 months.
The goal of crowdfunding seems primarily to create a financial basis for a project and to use “Kickstarter” to find arguments for an investor.
With the first funds
structure can be built
show an investor how much interest there is
maybe develop a prototype that makes it easier to explain the MMO to someone
Additionally, ideally, enthusiastic players can be turned into their own brand ambassadors, who then do PR work for free
This is Ashes of Creation – the CEO initially financed a large part himself.
The fundamental problem of an MMO remains the same, no matter how it is presented: The development takes a long time and costs a lot of money. What keeps a publisher from financing an MMO is the same thing that would also prevent a backer from funding it on Kickstarter if the player were confronted with the facts.
Therefore, studios seem to present their games very optimistically from the outset. This leads to many moments of disillusionment and frustration in the years that follow.
Developers and players are in the same boat
However, there is a strange phenomenon: With many “backers” of crowdfunding games, the idea seems to have established itself that what the developers say “externally” must be somehow embellished – that’s okay.
One is in the loop and knows how it really is. They don’t take it so badly on their “developers” when the next beta date is again pushed back by a few months or even years.
In fact, backers and core fans of MMORPGs are frustration-resistant. Delays no longer lead to real anger. Only the quasi-cancellation of Chronicles of Elyria actually generated a shitstorm.
One can only hope that one of the games that have been in development for so long meets the expectations of its backers and that the trust of players pays off in the end. This would also be important for the MMORPG genre.
Star Citizen is the crown jewel among crowdfunding MMOs.
In addition to the 4 examples mentioned here, there are other MMOs that have been and are being financed through crowdfunding. There are indeed some that have already been released:
In Destiny 2, particularly diligent Guardians receive a mysterious item during the Festival of the Lost 2020 – the Ascendant Lens. However, currently, no one knows what to do with it. Players are now pondering its purpose. Some theories have emerged.
During the festival, Guardians can collect new spooky armor ornaments, event weapons, or various themed event cosmetics. However, there is also an item related to the Festival of the Lost that many players are currently trying to figure out – the Ascendant Lens.
How does one obtain the Ascendant Lens? This item is awarded to particularly diligent players. The lens essentially represents a kind of grand prize for Guardians who complete a specific triumph during the ongoing Halloween event.
Here is the lens from Spider (Source: KackisHD on YouTube)
Among other things, it is required to open 45 event chests with cipher decoders. Once you have opened 45 chests in the Haunted Forest and snagged Eva’s new ship, you will learn that the Fallen vendor Spider wants to speak with you in the Tangled Shore. He will be marked with a blinking quest marker.
And when you visit him, he thanks you for your efforts and rewards you with the aforementioned item – the Ascendant Lens, which he got from the Dreaming City. This also simultaneously unlocks the secret triumph of this year’s festival.
What does the Ascendant Lens do? These are the theories
The problem with the Ascendant Lens: Once you have accepted the lens, it will remain in your inventory. However, no one currently knows what this new item does, what it can be used for, or where it goes from here. It cannot be used or applied anywhere so far. Officially, there is no further information regarding it.
The Ascendant Lens is said to be connected to the Dreaming City
In the item description, it simply states: “A focusing lens from the Dreaming City, through which one can sometimes see the Ascendant Realm.” Moreover, the lens can also be found in the collection. There, it is listed under Flair/Diverse/Collectibles, a new category, as the only item of its kind, provided you have already obtained it.
However, several ideas and theories already exist regarding what this item could entail. The theories are, after all, interconnected in essence.
Leftovers from the Future: Originally, the Halloween event was supposed to take place after the fall expansion Beyond Light was released. Some therefore assume that it could be something related to Beyond Light that simply wasn’t removed from the code during the extension of the ongoing Season 11. Hence, nothing can be done with it yet.
Should the lens actually have come with Beyond Light?
Timegated Content: Another theory suggests that the lens might be related to content hidden behind a time lock that will be revealed during the course of the Festival of the Lost or even after the release of Beyond Light.
After all, the Halloween event is the last substantial content meant to keep players engaged until the release of the fall expansion. If everything could already be uncovered and earned after a week, many would have nothing left to do. It is therefore quite plausible that potential content is being stretched out.
Just another item or new item category: Some players think it could simply be an unimportant collectible item. After all, not all players are likely to open the 45 chests needed for the lens, and items like the useless noodle soup coupon have appeared more than once.
The lens in the collection (Source: Kackis HD on YouTube)
However, the exact opposite is suspected by some: namely, that it could be an item from a larger, new system – for example, a kind of trophy showcase. A useless item would hardly appear in the collection.
New riddle or quest: What many fans and players also find plausible is that it could be a new quest or a new puzzle – whether timegated or simply not yet discovered. According to the description, the lens is connected to the homeland of the Awoken.
Thus, many Guardians are trying to find clues or uses for the lens in the Dreaming City, so far without success. However, some parallels and connections to this item have already been discovered in the Dreaming City.
Looks exactly like the lens in the inventory (Source: AgonistX on Reddit)
Comparable lenses on a rail system (Source: AnOrdinarySquirrell on Reddit)
The lens obtained from Spider is identical to other lenses found throughout the Dreaming City. Some of the lenses appear to be set up on a kind of rail system, which raises the suspicion that they may need to be pushed into the correct position to trigger something. However, this also is currently not possible.
What do you think? What could the Ascendant Lens from the Halloween event be about? Much ado about nothing? Or could this possibly be the next big riddle of Destiny 2? By the way, with Beyond Light, at least 10 new Exotics are on the way. Which one are you looking forward to the most? Destiny 2: Which new Exotic from Beyond Light are you most looking forward to?

Next Wednesday, October 14, the new TOTW 3 (Team of the Week) will be released in FIFA 21. Here you can find out who might be in the new Team of the Week.
What is the Team of the Week? The Team of the Week is released regularly on Wednesdays and brings new special cards to Ultimate Team. It consists of 23 players who are rewarded with an Inform card for strong performances in real football. These can then be drawn from packs or acquired on the transfer market.
What are TOTW Predictions? In the FUT community, players of the upcoming TOTW are speculated about week after week. It is checked who performed strongly over the weekend and could receive a special card.
The predictions often provide a good insight into what the TOTW could look like. You can then use them to trade with potential TOTW cards – how to do that is explained in our Trading Tips.
It is important to note: Predictions do not provide a guarantee, the official TOTW may look different in the end.
Prediction for Team of the Week 3 in Ultimate Team
These predictions come from FIFA YouTuber Kieron SSF (via YouTube). The potentially strongest cards here would be Sergio Ramos from Real Madrid and Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino.

CAM: Martin Odegaard (Real Madrid) – With a TOTW card, his OTW card would also increase.
Forward:
CF: Roberto Firmino (Liverpool)
LW: Stephan El Shaarawy (Shanghai Shenhua)
ST: Alexander Sørloth (RB Leipzig)
ST: Jamille Matt (Forest Green Rovers)
ST: Luis Muriel (Atalanta)
ST: Jeremy Ebobisse (Portland Timbers)
ST: Olivier Giroud (Chelsea)
ST: Michael Olunga (Kashiwa Reysol)
Possible Bundesliga Players in TOTW 3
These Bundesliga players could be included: This week is a special case as many leagues were on international break. The predictions are therefore largely based on performances from international matches.
However, some Bundesliga players are represented here as well. This includes Leipzig’s Alexander Sørloth, who scored a goal and provided an assist in the 4-0 victory against Romania for Norway. Erling Haaland scored 3 goals in this match but was already part of the last TOTW.
This could be a possible card for Goretzka
A particularly exciting card for Ultimate Team would be Leon Goretzka. The Munich player is among the best midfielders that the Bundesliga has to offer. In the match against Ukraine, he scored a goal, and the match ended with a 2-1 victory.
Hoffenheim’s Skov scored a goal in the international match against Iceland, and Gladbach’s Bensebaini did the same against Nigeria. Leipzig’s Willi Orban scored against Bulgaria, and Baumgartlinger celebrated two victories as captain with Austria.
Many of these players can strengthen your team – especially if you are still in the early stages of team building. Here you can find a good Bundesliga team for starting the season.

In Pokémon GO the overhaul of the egg pool is due tonight, October 12th. After months, there will finally be a change. We’ll show you the hopes of the trainers.
Update on 12.10 at 15:00: Leaks already show a new teaser image from Niantic. It features red eggs and the purple mist known from Shadow Pokémon.
It’s quite possible that Shadow Pokémon will soon appear in a new type of eggs. However, keep in mind that this is still a leak and has not yet been posted by Niantic.

This was announced: On Twitter, Niantic kept their announcement quite brief. The developers speak of new and exciting changes, stating: “It looks like various Pokémon will soon hatch from eggs!”
So, we can look forward to a revised egg pool. However, the question is how extensive the adjustments will be.
These are the hopes trainers have for the new egg pool
This is how the news is received: There are numerous reactions to Niantic’s announcement. Several hopes are expressed by the players.
The biggest wish would likely be revised 7-km eggs. After all, while there are different event Pokémon, you mainly find Galar and Alola Pokémon there. The chance of baby Pokémon is therefore not present, and these eggs are quite monotonous.
Another big wish is improved 10-km eggs. Trainers are particularly bothered by the Pokémon Feebas in those eggs. Jack Newell writes on Twitter: “10-km eggs contain significantly too many Feebas or other rubbish.”
In general, there is a wish for the bad Pokémon to disappear from the eggs, making room for rarer and stronger Pokémon. Shiny Surskit is frequently mentioned here – Surskit is indeed in the 10-km eggs, but is extremely rare there.
The eggs will be changed – What will be inside this time?
What could the adjustment look like? Realistically, Niantic is unlikely to remove all the bad eggs and instead will make the really rare Pokémon significantly more common.
Now, for instance, Feebas could be removed, but another Pokémon could be found much more frequently in the 10k eggs.
The likelihood of suddenly encountering Surskit or Dratini very frequently is probably low.
Nevertheless, we can look positively at the adjustment, as there is finally something happening with the egg pool. This is what MeinMMO editor Noah Struthoff has wished for:
Classes play an important role in the upcoming MMORPG Ashes of Creation and here quite unusual combinations are possible.
Update from October 12, 2020: We have updated the article with the latest info on Ashes of Creation and removed outdated information.
Fans are still waiting for the start of Alpha 1 of the promising MMORPG Ashes of Creation. However, some fans have already gained a glimpse into one of the most interesting online role-playing games set to release soon during Alpha 0. A release date for the online RPG is not yet in sight. However, new information about the title is gradually emerging.
The MMORPG Ashes of Creation offers you many interesting class combos.
Combine your base class with secondary classes
What classes are there? The developers have released a list of all the classes that you can play in the MMORPG some time ago. You start with one of eight base classes. The general principle is that they are categorized into the well-known “Trinity” Tank, Damage Dealer, and Healer. However, many nuances ensure that each combo plays differently.
These include:
Fighter
Tank
Thief
Ranger
Mage
Summoner
Cleric
Bard
Later, it is possible to choose a secondary class, leading to a combination of 64 classes. The interesting part: Each combo is supposed to play uniquely. As can be seen from the list, very unusual connections are also possible:

This is how the MMORPG Ashes of Creation plays in Pre-Alpha.
Unusual combos are possible and can be changed again
What do these many classes bring? The high number is meant to give you a little feeling of being something special in the world. Because probably not many Cleric-Bards (Scryer) or Thief-Summoners (Shadowlord) will be wandering through the game world.
You are also flexible regarding the combinations and can always adjust them. Only the base class is fixed and cannot be changed. However, you can drop your secondary class and choose another one if you want to try something new.
All classes and combos will be presented to you in more detail until the release of the MMORPG Ashes of Creation.
In WoW you are only a few seconds at level 1. But not this player – they have been collecting achievement points like crazy for months.
Achievements do not have much significance for most players in World of Warcraft. Apart from a fraction of the achievements that reward titles, mounts, toys, or pets, players collect achievements just for the sake of collecting. However, for some players, achievements are also an important aspect, and they essentially play just to increase this number. One player is trying to reach the highest possible value – at level 1.
What has been achieved? The player Winterly has reached a personal milestone and has also (likely) set a new record. Because even though he is only level 1 – basically freshly made – he has already collected over 5,000 achievement points. Only character-specific achievement points count.

The character with the simple name “Achievements” has primarily achieved successes in the area of exploration (many areas uncovered), collection achievements, and also achievements for defeating rare enemies in the individual expansions, even though the opponents are actually much too strong for him.
How did he do it? In World of Warcraft, it actually only takes a few seconds to level up from level 1 to level 2. However, this can be avoided by immediately going to an NPC in Stormwind (Behsten) or Orgrimmar (Slahtz). There, the gain of experience points can be disabled. This is primarily for PvP twinks who never want to go beyond level 19.
With experience points disabled, it was easy to be chauffeured around the world by other characters to complete as many achievements as possible.
Do you also have so many points on a level 1 character?
Does he do it all by himself? Basically yes. While he has taken the help of characters at level 120 – otherwise he wouldn’t be able to get many achievements – he plays them all himself as well. He actually maintains multiple World of Warcraft accounts and can thus invite himself into a group and tackle the challenges alone. It’s quite similar to how multiboxers do it, just with less coordination needed. For most achievements, it is enough for the character at level 1 to simply stand nearby.
Why did he do it? In the comments, Winterly explained that he has always had a penchant for seeing how far one can go with a low-level character. He set himself the limit of 5,000 points before the release of Shadowlands and reached it.
His next goal? Now he wants to reach 6,000 achievement points as well. Who knows, maybe that is even possible due to the postponement of Shadowlands…
What do you think of this achievement? A cool and impressive thing for a level 1 character? Or wasted time and nothing special?

Every year a new Call of Duty comes out and sometimes it’s small details that determine whether one considers it good or bad. However, some veterans and pros only look at one perk and know for themselves: Top or Flop.
With such a large community as that of Call of Duty, it is quite difficult for the developers to make every fan and player happy. Some prefer colorful skins and crazy stunts like in Black Ops 4, while others prefer sober graphics and realism like in Modern Warfare.
However, many veterans and even some pros are sure of one thing – they want a strong version of the perk “Ninja” or “Dead Silence” in their current Call of Duty. Without this perk, a new CoD immediately falls into the “We’ll see” category.
The CoD streamer Davis “Hitch” Edwards recently started a discussion on Twitter about this topic and criticized the new CoD for the decision to forego a strong version of “Ninja” and received prominent support.
What is Ninja/Dead Silence good for? Both perks essentially provide the same bonus: Your footsteps are significantly quieter or even inaudible. When Dead Silence was introduced with CoD 4, the perk reduced the volume of one’s own footsteps by 60%. This helped to hear enemy footsteps better when moving. The perk reached its peak in Black Ops II. Here, it allowed for completely noiseless movement. Ninja also often provided a noise-reducing effect but gave bonuses such as protection against heartbeat sensors. In the current Modern Warfare and Warzone, Dead Silence is a field upgrade that does not offer a permanent passive bonus but can be actively used to run faster and quieter for a short time.
Why do pros want the perk so much? When you are audible while running, there is always a risk that someone will notice you. This affects the game in various ways, and some pros believe it is not for the better. Hitch, for example, says that it slows down the games:

Tweet Translation – “One thing worries me about Cold War: The absence of a perk for silent footsteps. Ninja [the perk that is now in the game] seems to be more like Dead Silence from MW Remastered… which made the game extremely slow. I don’t understand why CoD is moving away from that… the best games had complete Dead Silence.”
The professional player Austin “SlasheR” Liddicoat joins in. He says that without complete “Dead Silence,” players have fewer options for advanced tactics:
I say it every year man.. complete dead silence allows for more plays to be made in SND and higher game knowledge in respawn.. footstep volume is for scrubs
Tweet Translation – “I say it every year… complete Dead Silence allows more tactics in Search & Destroy and you need more knowledge about the respawns. Footstep noise is for noobs.”
Even the famous YouTube streamer Guy “Dr Disrespect” Beahm joined the discussion and agreed with Hitch. Furthermore, he explained which CoD had the best sound for him:
Agreed. Blops 1 sound design was the best IMO. Settle sound design indications for specific actions. Example: climbing a ladder and getting to the top, belt buckle would make a quick faint sound.
Tweet Translation – “Agreed. The sound design in Black Ops 1 was the best in my opinion. The sound design should be set in a way that it indicates specific actions. For example: When you climb a ladder and reach the top, the belt buckle makes a quick faint sound.”
The three well-known CoD players are therefore not at all satisfied with the latest version of the Ninja perk and even evaluate the overall quality of the CoD title based on this one perk.
Perk Description – You sprint quieter. You are resistant to directional microphones while sprinting. Speak only when necessary.
So far, the perk only affects sprint speed but leaves normal walking unaffected. Whether there will be any changes before release or possibly another perk that alters footstep volume is still open for now.
What do you think about Dead Silence/Ninja? Does the perk also influence how you perceive a CoD title, or are you perhaps even glad if there is no or only a weak version of the perk in the game?

Not every PlayStation 4 game will be playable via the PlayStation 5’s backward compatibility. Sony has now listed the PS4 games that will not work on the next-gen console.
What is the backward compatibility of the PS5 about? On the PlayStation 5, you will not only be able to play brand-new games specifically developed for the next-gen console. A variety of PS4 games will also run on the PS5 – thanks to the backward compatibility features.
According to Sony, more than 99% of the over 4,000 PS4 games are supposed to be playable on the PS5. However, the new PlayStation 5 will not be compatible with PS1, PS2, and PS3. You can find more about this here: PS5 – The 9 most important answers on backward compatibility
But which PS4 games actually do not run on the PS5? And what should you pay attention to?
These PS4 games do not run on the PS5
So far, the list remains fortunately quite manageable. As of now, 10 PS4 games have been confirmed that will not work on the PS5.
All the games known so far:
DWVR
Afro Samurai 2 Revenge of Kuma Volume One
TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2
Just Deal With It!
Shadow Complex Remastered
Robinson: The Journey
We Sing
Hitman Go: Definitive Edition
Shadwen
Joe’s Diner
Will this remain the case? According to Sony, this list can still change. Additionally, it only includes games. Demos, media, or other applications from the PS4 that do not run on the PS5 are not listed here.
What should you pay attention to when it comes to games: You will be able to recognize the games that are not supported on the PS5 in the PS Store. Pay attention to the label “PS4 Only” or “Only PS4” in the PlayStation Store.
And even though there are currently only 10 PS4 games that will officially not be playable on the PS5 and the majority of the PS4 library is supported on the PS5 thanks to backward compatibility: Even with some supported titles, some PS4 features may be missing or faulty on the PS5. Generally, some PS4 games may exhibit bugs or unexpected behavior on the PlayStation 5, according to Sony.
Here it will be important to always keep the PS5 firmware up to date.
When does the PS5 actually launch? In Germany and Europe, the PlayStation 5 will be available from November 19. In the USA, Canada, Japan, and some other countries, the PS5 will launch a week earlier – on November 12. Currently, however, Sony’s next-gen console is completely sold out.
