The PlayStation 5 is still in high demand. The demand is so strong that professional criminal gangs are engaging in particularly daring robberies. They are now stealing PlayStation 5 consoles and other valuable cargo even from moving trucks!
What happened? A report from the English newspaper The Times refers to already 27 curious robberies on moving trucks that have occurred in the UK so far in 2020. The thieves have targeted high-value cargo, including smartphones, cigarettes, and recently more frequently PlayStation 5 consoles. According to the authorities, cargo theft in the UK has already caused damage amounting to 66 million pounds.
The thieves are particularly bold and reckless in their approach, and their methods resemble stunts from movies like The Fast and the Furious.
Professional criminal gangs pull off heists like in action movies
They use a tactic known as “The Rollover”. At least three vehicles and a well-coordinated crew are required:
A car positions itself in front of the truck to control its speed.
Another vehicle drives parallel to the truck, preventing it from overtaking the car in front.
The last vehicle then drives as close as possible to the truck from behind.
From the last vehicle, the most skillful of the criminals climbs out of the (roof) window, secures himself with a rope, and then balances forward to the cargo trailer.

In this video from 2012 in Romania, you can see an attempt to rob a moving truck.
He then breaks into it and can throw the most valuable boxes from the cargo back into the car. The maneuver is extremely risky, as a sudden change in speed or the thief slipping can lead to severe or even fatal injuries.
This is why the thieves know where the fat loot is located: Since the previously known robberies specifically targeted valuable items like PS5 consoles, the police assume that the thieves had help from accomplices within the relevant freight companies. Thus, the thieves could quickly identify and steal the most valuable boxes.
As such bold robberies tend to increase during the Christmas season, the authorities have urgently advised freight company operators to revise their security measures and to continually provide their drivers with new routes to make it harder for thieves to catch the trucks on the way.
The daily login bonuses are a strategy from the developers to entice you into their game every day. But what do you think about this “feature”?
Here’s the deal: Almost every MMO or online game player will have encountered the “daily login” feature while playing. It is a series of rewards that developers give to players when they log into their game at least once a day.
These rewards now exist not only in proper MMORPGs but also in many other genres of games. They can take various forms:
In-game currency
Various in-game resources
Useful consumables like EXP boosts or potions
Cosmetic items like skins or pets
Premium currency
Often, at the end of such a daily login marathon, there is a particularly large reward in the form of, for example, a unique outfit or a lot of premium currency.
They are meant to reward players who play daily on one hand. And on the other hand, they serve as an incentive for less active players to log in more often and spend more time in the game.
You’ll find more interesting articles about MMORPGs on MeinMMO here:
The system has both its advantages and disadvantages.
Advantages of daily login bonuses:
Additional rewards for players who invest a lot of time in the game
At the end of a login marathon, a cool big reward is often expected
Doesn’t require a large time investment or grinding
Disadvantages of daily login bonuses:
Strong “fear of missing out” feeling which creates pressure to log in more frequently than one normally would
Disadvantages for players who do not have the opportunity to log in daily
No real content that would keep players in the game in a “natural” way
And how do you see the daily login bonuses? Do you think they are a good reward system or do they create unnecessary pressure? Are you happy when there are daily login bonuses in your game or do you not care? Let us know in the comments!

How do you like the changes? Do you think it’s good that activities now provide more XP, or should Niantic have improved rewards in other areas as well? Let us know here on MeinMMO in the comments.

The survival game has a very unique graphic style that appears quite comic-like. Therefore, the title could also appeal more to a younger audience. Nevertheless, all elements that one expects from survival games are present: crafting, combat, building.
The animations could be a bit smoother, and it is still unclear how the endgame will look, but the foundations for a fun online game are certainly visible in the videos.
When will the game be released? According to Steam, the launch of Tree of Life: Oddria is still planned for this year. However, it is still uncertain whether this will actually happen. Because on November 30, the last alpha test ended, and in the comments on Steam, the team explained that there will be another test. Therefore, doubts arise whether the release will still take place in 2020, as the year ends in just a few weeks.
Who should keep an eye on the game? If you like survival games but also colorful graphics and want to experience such a game with your family, you should mark Tree of Life: Oddria. Perhaps we are looking at a survival game for the whole family.
After more than a year, we once again take a look back at WoW Classic. Did the game meet expectations and revive nostalgia?
It’s been just over a year since World of Warcraft Classic launched and fulfilled the dreams of many players. Not only veterans got to experience the magic of the original WoW version once again. Players who never had the chance to play WoW in its vanilla version also enjoyed it.
Kel’thuzad was the last boss of WoW Classic – he fell very quickly.
WoW Classic: A beautiful journey or the end of nostalgia?
This slowly raises the question: Was WoW Classic actually a good idea? Did the game meet the expectations of long-time fans? Could WoW Classic reignite the nostalgia of the past and bring back the beautiful hours from over a decade ago? After all, WoW Classic attracted enormous attention and was more popular on the streaming site Twitch at launch than Shadowlands.
Or did WoW Classic tarnish and ruin those memories? After all, there were many things in WoW Classic that played out very differently than in Vanilla times. World buffs are painstakingly stacked, bosses are defeated with mathematical certainty, and everyone knows their “Best in Slot” items by heart. The optimization craze was clearly greater than it was back in Vanilla times, and only a few realms could maintain a feeling like it was back then for the long term.
Joy or frustration in Classic?
Could WoW Classic meet expectations?
That’s exactly what we want to know from you, the readers of MeinMMO! You can now participate in our survey below and answer whether WoW Classic was a success for you personally or if it rather ruined the legacy of Vanilla WoW.
After you cast your vote, please leave a comment under the article and explain what you thought of the WoW Classic project overall. Let us know what was good and what maybe didn’t go so well.
In CoD Warzone, you can soon look forward to a new map. The new map is coming a bit later than expected, but now it’s official: You will soon be able to engage in wild battle royale encounters on Rebirth Island.
What is the new map all about? For some time now, there have been leaks suggesting a new map called Rebirth Island. This map is supposed to replace Verdansk in Call of Duty: Warzone or coexist alongside the old map. There is still no concrete information on this.
What we do know for sure is: The map is indeed called Rebirth Island and it is definitely coming. In a small teaser, one could see the title clearly when the corresponding image was brightened up.
But when will the map come and what can you expect there?
Update: We have updated this news from December 7, 2020, with additional information from the developers about the new map on December 8, 2020.
Release and Content of the New Map Rebirth Island
When will the new map come? The Rebirth Island map will launch with Season 1 in CoD Cold War in Warzone. The games Warzone and Cold War share seasons and certain content from this point on.
The release date for Season 1 was initially planned for December 10, 2020, but was then postponed to December 16, 2020.
What could be included in the new map? Rebirth Island really exists. The island is located in the former Soviet Republic of Uzbekistan and was once a testing ground for chemical and biological weapons during the Soviet era.

The mission from Black Ops where the island was featured.
A mission in the first Black Ops game takes place there, involving a deadly nerve gas. It is quite possible that this new gas will take on the role of the death zone.
At least it is known that the new map will also feature its own mode. In Black Ops 4, the Alcatraz map was notorious for extremely fast and fierce battles in tight spaces.
Moreover, zombies lurked on the prison island. Respawns were available every 30 seconds, but only a total of 5 times. It could be that the developers will reuse some of these features in the new map.
Furthermore, the developers hinted at a changed Gulag experience, but without providing further details.
However, as long as you are still playing in Verdansk, you should familiarize yourself with the advantages of the map. These include the recently introduced trains. How you can use the train for a dominant tactic in Call of Duty: Warzone can be found here on MeinMMO. Have fun in Verdansk while it lasts!

On December 1, Zhongli was released in Genshin Impact. However, the new character is not well received in the community. The developers have now made a statement and explained why Zhongli is better than many think.
Accordingly, players had high hopes for him. However, Zhongli does not meet those expectations. He belongs to the Geo element and deals little damage. Many players have expressed their frustration in forums and on reddit.
In the meantime, even the developers have commented on Zhongli. They say that many underestimate the new character. He is not meant to deal a lot of damage, but rather takes on the role of a supporter.

Support and CC are his strengths, a bug fix is coming
What do the developers say? In a message to the community, miHoYo explains what lies behind Zhongli. His strengths are supposed to lie primarily in support, which he can even provide without elemental combos or gear:
Zhongli is seen more as a support character, and the core of the supporter is the task of protecting other characters in the group. Based on this, we have defined his two core abilities, namely the creation of shields and control over enemies.
The Jade Shield provides effective absorption and good protection without relying on other gear.
Planet Befall effectively controls enemy groups without relying on elemental reactions or gear bonuses.
From a design standpoint, these two features allow him to fulfill his role as a supporter. Upon reviewing the gameplay data, we found that Zhongli has indeed improved the survivability of travelers.
Furthermore, it is stated that no major changes to Zhongli are planned for the time being.
Only a bug related to the ability “Stone, the Cradle of Jade” that prevents the damage boost from elemental combos from activating will be fixed. The fix is scheduled to be released on December 10.
Along with this, there will be a “compensation”, likely in the form of Primogems. This compensation is often given to players who do not even own the character.
Players complain about marketing statements
How do players react? In a new reddit thread, the statement from miHoYo is discussed. Most reactions that received a lot of upvotes respond negatively to the statement. For them, there is too much marketing and too little admission in the statement:
The user Sufficient_Ad_8600 writes: “It’s another typical safety statement. Hey, we’re fine here. It’s all your fault.”
The user G3minus even sees a fault for the “misunderstanding” about Zhongli at miHoYo itself: “The sad thing is, they chose his stat Geo, but his weapon is a DPS staff that is useless for a supporter. They are either forgetful or deliberately deceiving the players into thinking he is a DPS character or at least not a pure shield bot. Also, the trailer is really misleading.”
Qiqi is also a support character, but significantly more effective and popular than Zhongli.
Many other players agree with the criticism and are also surprised. After all, there are support characters like Qiqi or Jean, who are much more useful in battles. Both stand in our tier list in the S-tier.
What do you think of the new character Zhongli? Do you use him often or have you also been disappointed? Let us know in the comments!
Zhongli was certainly not the last new character for Genshin Impact. A leak may have already shown the next character:
Are you looking for the strongest legendary weapons for PvE in Destiny 2? We will present 8 of them and show you which roll you should hunt for in Season 12.
What kind of weapon list is this? Here you will find 7 legendary weapons that have been newly introduced to the game with Beyond Light and Season 12, the Season of the Hunt. MeinMMO presents the weapons and also provides tips on the best perk combinations as well as the locations.
We have made sure that you can easily farm each of the strong weapons in this article alone. You are not dependent on a group.
Update 08.12.: We have added another weapon to this article because our readers couldn’t stop raving about it.
If you have a team, we strongly recommend making a few trips to the new Deep Stone Crypt raid. The champions from the endgame activity are also true miracle weapons and for many the highlight of Beyond Light:
The shotgun “Bonechiller” is one of the precision shotguns that does not fire a wide spread of pellets, but a single projectile (slug). The weapon deals Void damage and requires special ammo.
Here’s why the weapon is so good: Slug shotguns currently lead the DPS rankings of the strongest special weapons in PvE. Although they play a bit differently since you need to aim well, you are rewarded with enormous damage at good range.
Here are the best perks:
Barrel: Corkscrew Rifling (+5 Stability, Range, and Handling)
Magazine: Assault Mag (+15 Stability, +10 Rate of Fire) or Tactical Mag (+10 Reload Speed, +5 Stability, +1 Magazine Size)
Slot 1: Auto-Loading Holster (stowed weapon is automatically reloaded after a short time)
Slot 2: Demolitionist (kills grant grenade energy and throwing grenades reloads this weapon)
Where can you get Bonechiller? You can reliably get the new weapons from Europa from Variks. You can specifically hunt them through his bounties or obtain them guaranteed through Empire Hunts.
Is there a current alternative? Since the last changes to the loot pool, you can hope for drops from the slug shotgun Workaholic. It is also in the energy slot and can roll with Vorpal Weapon alongside Auto-Loading Holster.
2. Under-Null Salvo
The rocket launcher “Under-Null Salvo” deals Arc damage and is a heavy weapon that requires power ammo. When aiming, you automatically activate target tracking.
Here’s why the weapon is so good: It has been a while since rocket launchers were meta in Destiny 2. But this one comes with some strong characteristics.
On one hand, the weapon intrinsically comes with target tracking, which other rocket launchers need to sacrifice a perk for.
Moreover, the right perks allow you to bypass the annoying restriction of having only one rocket in the chamber
Lastly, there is a really strong perk selection, making almost any roll useful. You can even play Under-Null Salvo as a backup in PvP.
What are the best perks?
Barrel: Linear Compensator (+5 Velocity, Blast Radius, and Stability)
Magazine: Impact Casing (increases damage on direct hits)
Slot 1: Ambitious Assassin (after quick kills, you have more shots in the chamber)
Slot 2: Chain Reaction (kills create an elemental explosion) or Frenzy (kills grant super energy) or Cluster Bombs (rockets create smaller explosions on detonation)
Where can you get Under-Null Salvo? This rocket launcher is also a Europa weapon from Variks.
Is there a current alternative? Alternatives with high power limits can only be farmed in the Iron Banner or through Trials.
On the next page, you will find another Europa weapon and a reward from the new seasonal activity of Season 12.

Why can’t I play? Currently, FFXIV is offline and cannot be played. The reason for this is the usual server maintenance before each major patch.
The maintenance is expected to end tomorrow, on December 8, at 11:00 AM our time.
Until then, we have put together a compact overview of all the new exciting content and quests, what rewards they bring, and how you can unlock them. You can find all the information about the update in the official patch notes.
Continuation of the main story
What can I expect here? For already 7 years and 3 expansions, the ongoing story of FFXIV has been unfolding. In the latest update, the player character and their NPC friends return to the original world, where a major problem is brewing and new enemies are emerging.
The main story quests often provide smaller rewards at the end, in the form of companions or outfits. Whether this will also be the case with Patch 5.4 is still unknown.
Here’s how to unlock the main story:
Name of the starting quest: “High Aspirations”
Quest NPC: Krile
Location: Mor Dhona, Sunstone instance (X: 6.0 / Y: 5.9)
Requirements: A combat or mage job at level 80, completion of the quest “Threatening Clouds on the Horizon.” This is the last story quest of the previous patch 5.3.
Together with the main story, you will likely also automatically unlock the new dungeon “Matoya’s Atelier.” So don’t worry if you can’t find the starting quest for the dungeon anywhere.
Quest series “Battle of Werlyt” and the fight against Emerald Weapon
What can I expect here? The quest series around Werlyt continues and brings a new trial battle with it. After the Ruby Weapon in Patch 5.2, players will now have to face the Emerald Weapon. After defeating the weapon, players can challenge it again in a hard “Trauma” mode, also known as Extreme mode.
As a reward for the battle against the Emerald Weapon EX, players will receive new strong weapons, a new dragon mount, and another cosmetic item, which will drop randomly after the battle.
You will also receive totems, which you can exchange for rewards with the NPC C’intana in Mor Dhona (X:22.7 Y:6.7).
Here’s how to unlock the quests:
Name of the starting quest: “Blood Emerald”
Quest NPC: General of the Liberation Army
Location: The Fen (X: 11.3 / Y: 22.5)
Requirements: A combat or mage job at level 80, completion of the quest “Airstrike on Werlyt.” This is the last Werlyt quest of the previous patch 5.3.
The normal battle against the Emerald Weapon will be automatically unlocked during the quest series.
Here’s how to unlock the Emerald Weapon EX: After the fight against the normal Emerald Weapon, you will have the opportunity to challenge the powerful EX form of the boss and earn cool rewards. Here’s how:
Quest NPC: Garlond Model Maker
Location: The Fen (X:11.5 Y:22.5)
Requirements: A combat or mage job at level 80, completion of an unknown Werlyt quest from Patch 5.4. It is likely that you will have to defeat the normal version of the weapon.
Item level: at least 500
8-Man Raid: Eden’s Promise
What can I expect here? Eden’s Promise is the third and thus final part of the Eden raid, where players can challenge themselves in 4 boss battles. It comes in normal and epic versions and also concludes the story of friends Ryne and Gaia.
As rewards, you will receive new weapons and armor. In the normal Eden raid, items drop which you can exchange with the NPC Yhal Yal in Eulmore for new equipment. In the epic version of the raid, you can obtain the currently strongest weapons and armor, but they are correspondingly harder to get.
Here’s how to unlock the raid:
Name of the starting quest: “Empty Promise”
Quest NPC: Yalfort
Location: Amh Araeng (X: 26.7 Y: 16.7)
Requirements: A combat or mage job at level 80, completion of the quests “Crystal Reflections” and “Worlds Apart”.
The individual boss battles of the raid will be automatically unlocked as the quest series progresses.
This outfit will be available in the new Eden raid
Here’s how to unlock Eden (epic): The epic versions of the Eden boss battles are significantly tougher than the normal ones but also come with much stronger equipment. You unlock them as follows:
Quest NPC: Lewrey
Location: Amh Araeng (X: 26.8 Y: 16.4).
Requirements: A combat or mage job at level 80, completion of an unknown Eden quest from Patch 5.4. It is likely that you will have to defeat the normal versions of the bosses and complete the Eden quest line.
Item level: at least 500 for the first fight, 505 for the second fight, 510 for the third and fourth fights.
Dream Trial: Titan
What can I expect? The current Dream Trial Shiva will be replaced by Titan. The fight will feature the old Extreme version of Titan, which has been raised from level 50 to level 80. And it is just as challenging.
After defeating Titan, you will participate in a mini-game and earn the currency “Dream Leaves.” You will be able to exchange these leaves for rewards like companions or mounts.
Here’s how to unlock the new Dream Trial: If you haven’t unlocked the mini-game yet, you can do it here:
Name of the starting quest: “On the Fox’s Trail”
Quest NPC: Traveler from Ishgard
Location: Frohenhalde (X: 7.0 / Y: 5.9)
Requirements: A combat or mage job at level 80
Role and Scenario Side Quests
What can I expect here? In addition to the new combat content, several new side quests are coming with Patch 5.4 for FFXIV. These will likely be purely story quests that will contribute new information and background to the world of FFXIV.
It is still unknown whether players can expect special rewards after completing these quests. However, the stories themselves may interest some.
Here’s how to unlock the role quests:
Name of the starting quest: “Crystals of the Warriors of Light”
Quest NPC: Cyella
Location: Crystarium (X: 10.7 Y: 15.3)
Requirements: A combat or mage job at level 80, completion of the quests “Crystal Reflections” and “In the Shadow of True Heroes.” You will need to bring a tank, healer, mage, and physical fighter job to level 80 and complete all their role quests.
Here’s how to unlock the scenario side quests: These are a follow-up quest to the role quest above. However, it has somewhat more complex conditions for unlocking:
Name of the starting quest: “Reunion on the First Shard”
Quest NPC: Cyella
Location: Crystarium (X: 10.7 Y: 15.3)
Requirements: A combat or mage job at level 80, completion of the quest “Crystals of the Warriors of Light.” You must also defeat all primals of the Heavensward expansion on extreme difficulty and complete their quests. These include: Ravana, Bismarck, Sephirot, Sophia, and Zurvan.
Are you still looking for an impressive mount in WoW: Shadowlands? Then you should get the “Loyal Devourer”. We show you how to do it.
In World of Warcraft Shadowlands, there is a huge amount of new mounts. Some are simply dropped as loot by rare enemies, while others are a bit more hidden. One of them is the “Loyal Devourer,” which you can get in Revendreth. It has caused quite a bit of furrowing of brows and confusion.
Where do you need to go first? To obtain the impressive mount, you must first defeat the elite rare “Edge of the World Devourer” in Revendreth. To summon this one, you need the item “Enticing Anima.” It can drop anywhere in the forest west of Darkhaven (where the penitent hunt took place).
Here you can find the Edge of the World Devourer when you can summon it.
With “Enticing Anima,” go to the coordinates 39 / 72 and ignite the beacons with the Anima. This summons the rare enemy “Edge of the World Devourer.”
But beware! The Edge of the World Devourer is an elite opponent with quite a lot of hit points and some nasty attacks. You should gather a complete group before taking on this behemoth.
Drop is not guaranteed: If you have defeated the boss, there is a chance that it leaves behind “Influencable Devourer Brood.” This is an epic item that, however, does not end up in your inventory. It is automatically consumed. After looting “Influencable Devourer Brood,” you can read two lines in the chat – the Devourer Brood looks at you and then runs away.
If you did not receive the “Influencable Devourer Brood,” try again the next day. Like almost all rare enemies, the Edge of the World Devourer can only be looted once a day for special loot.
Your quest giver when you were lucky with the drop and are level 60. Image source: wowhead
What’s next? The next step is only possible once you have already reached level 60. You need to travel to coordinates 60 / 57. As you approach the location, the Influencable Devourer Brood should stand out nearby. It is now a quest giver.
Every day the brood gives you a quest. The missions are quite simple and usually directly nearby – you just need to collect items from the immediate area or kill some enemies.
Return to the Devourer Brood every day, as it always has a new quest. Complete the quests for 7 days, then at the end, you will receive the “Loyal Devourer” as a mount that you can use from now on!
Have you already got the Devourer? Or have you not had any drop luck for the starting item?
The new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is currently causing issues for players on the PlayStation 5. The game crashes and reportedly renders the entire console unusable.
What is the problem? Some players on the PlayStation 5 report that they experience graphics issues while playing Cold War. This leads to the console crashing. While it can restart, none of the games, including Call of Duty, can be played afterwards.
In a large thread on Reddit with nearly 15,000 upvotes and also shared on Twitter and other social media channels, complaints are piling up. The issue is that it’s not just the console crashing but that the graphics unit is being affected.
This makes the console effectively unusable, as no games can be played on it anymore. This is particularly frustrating since only a few players have managed to obtain a PS5. Many are still waiting for retailers to resume taking orders.
Meanwhile, the new Xbox Series X seems to be experiencing similar crash issues. In a thread on Reddit, people are already demanding their money back because Cold War is reportedly crashing frequently here as well.
When does it occur? Apparently, this specific issue only occurs when Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is launched. We at MeinMMO have already inquired with Sony and Activision about where the problem lies. According to Sony, there is no information available about the issue. Activision has not yet made an official comment.
PlayStation 5 rendered unusable by CoD – Here’s what you can do
How can I prevent this? As soon as you notice that there are graphics issues with Cold War, you should safely quit the game and not start it again until the next patch. This is what most affected players recommend.
Currently, there is no official solution for the problem. Users on Twitter and others are providing some tips on how to save your PlayStation 5 if you are affected by the bug:
fully restart the console by holding the power button while the console is off
reset the console to factory settings via the settings

When will a fix be available? A patch for Cold War is coming on December 8. While it is said to only bring “Quality of Life” improvements and to prepare the game for the Season 1 postponed to December 16, it is possible it will also address this serious issue.

The streamer Timothy “TimTheTatman” Betar is one of the most successful and largest performers on the platform Twitch in recent years. The gaming streamer is now fed up with the fuss over copyright music, copyright strikes, and Twitch bans. He is not afraid of a Twitch ban. After all, he is already set for life.
This is streamer TimTheTatman: The 30-year-old American Timothy Betar has been on Twitch for 8 years. He made a name for himself as a shooter player, and was crazy about Overwatch. However, TimTheTatman only had his breakthrough in 2018: He was part of the clique around Tyler “Ninja” Blevins. Ninja was so successful with Fortnite that some of his regular gaming partners also became top streamers on Twitch.
Betar played the role of “the chill, scatterbrained, older player” in the group, who seemed a bit clumsy and was often the target of criticism from the overly ambitious and hyper Ninja.
Timothy John Betar, known as TimTheTatman, is one of the most successful streamers in recent years.
TimTheTatman cultivated the role of “the bear-like, down-to-earth streamer” and has seen enormous growth on Twitch in recent years. He is a personality streamer: the kind of streamer you would like to have as a friend to grab a drink with in the evening and talk about everyday problems.
Unlike many of his colleagues, Betar often appears self-ironic. When he gets taken out by a young CoD pro, he curses: He’s a 30-year-old dad who is slowly going bald – the boys should take it a bit easier.
With his style of streaming, Betar has long found his core audience: TimTheTatman has 5.84 million followers, making it the eighth largest channel on Twitch, and he is one of the most popular streamers on the platform. Somehow everyone likes him, he doesn’t hurt anyone.
This is what TimTheTatman is upset about: In a stream from December 4th, TimTheTatman is warned by a fan: Better not listen to music. Because that could lead to a Twitch ban.
Indeed, the music industry has targeted Twitch since May 2020 and bombards the platform with thousands of copyright complaints every month. With repeated violations of copyright rules, streamers are banned from Twitch: The streaming platform must investigate reported violations and penalize them.
The streamer visibly gets more and more passionate after the fan’s warning.
If I get a stupid ban, I’m going to the beach! I’ve been on Twitch for 8 years, I’ve been listening to music normally for 7 years, and now suddenly it’s like: “HEY! Stop it!” People, it’s totally normal to [listen to music]. That’s just what I do.
If I get a stupid ban, then I’m just banned. Whatever. I’m going to invest my money and go to the damn beach.

TimTheTatman then explains that he doesn’t mind not streaming on Twitch anymore, but lying on the beach. He will drink beer there, wear a straw hat, and get fat.
And if someone asks 5 or 10 years later: “What happened to TimTheTatman?”, then they will see a thicker version of him running on the beach wearing a straw hat.
The world is still wondering why Dr Disrespect was banned.
Streamers and their Twitch bans
This is what it’s all about: Various personalities stream on Twitch, playing different roles and embodying them. Much of it is certainly acted, but some is authentic.
For many others, a Twitch ban would be an economic disaster: It would instantly destroy their livelihood.
The German streamer MontanaBlack sat on the sidelines for over 33 days due to a ban.
TimTheTatman, however, seems to be a type of person who can imagine a life without Twitch. The idea of enjoying life and just hanging out on the beach seems to have no fear for him.
However, it seems hard to imagine that Betar will be banned from Twitch: Streamers like TimTheTatman are economically enormously valuable for Twitch as advertising figures and lighthouse streamers. Especially the feel-good streamer “TimTheTatman” is brand-friendly for the platform.
Banning a “Top 10” streamer would be something different than losing someone like the controversial Top-100 streamer Forsen.
The streamer Forsen was permanently banned from Twitch.
Permanently banning on Twitch is no joke. Streamer Sebastian “Forsen” Fors had to experience this firsthand. A troll from his community slipped him a picture that briefly showed Forsen during the stream. But that was too much:
Level 43 in Pokémon GO requires a lot of XP from you, just like a lot of Stardust and legendary Pokémon. In this guide, you will find tips on how to quickly reach Level 43.
This is Level 43: Since the GO Beyond Update from December 2020, the old level cap of 40 is a thing of the past, and you can now rise to Level 50.
However, starting from Level 40, it’s no longer enough to just collect XP. You also have to complete various tasks per level that test your skills as a Trainer. What you need to do for Level 43 and how to do it best can be found here.
This much XP you need: You must have collected a total of 42.5 million XP to reach Level 43. To jump from Level 42 to 43, you need to accumulate another 9 million XP.
There are several ways to effectively collect XP. This includes maintaining friendships in Pokémon GO, but also consistently evolving and catching Pokémon can yield a lot of XP. Especially excellent throws now provide really good experience points.
It is also worthwhile to take advantage of events that increase XP. In December 2020, there are many dates on which you can get double XP for various actions.
Complete these 4 tasks: Additionally, there are a total of 4 challenges that you must complete on your way to Level 43. They are as follows:
Earn 100,000 Stardust
Use 200 very effective charge attacks
Catch 5 legendary Pokémon
Earn 5 Platinum Medals
We will take a closer look at the tasks here.
Since the GO Beyond Update, you can rush to Level 50
Tips and Tricks for Level 43
How to quickly earn Stardust: Basically, each caught Pokémon gives you a certain amount of Stardust. Higher evolution stage monsters give you more than base Pokémon. Weather boosts also increase the amount of Stardust. Other sources of Stardust include:
From Eggs
From Raids
In PvP
From Gifts
As a reward for Quests
In general, the rule applies: the more you play, the more Stardust you get. You can further increase the Stardust you receive by using a Star Piece. If you plan a longer session, you should definitely stack multiple Star Pieces to keep the effect as long as possible.
There are also recurring events that grant you increased Stardust. The XXL Community Day in December is well suited for collecting Stardust: On two days, you get double Stardust for catching Pokémon for six hours. You should also keep an eye on Spotlight Hours, which occur regularly. Here, bonuses for the coveted Stardust are also regularly available.
Events like the Community Day often bring XP bonuses
How to use 200 very effective charge attacks: The task is relatively simple to accomplish. If you use the right attacks, the 200 should come quite quickly.
How effective an attack is depends on the type of your opponent. A fire attack is very effective against grass-type Pokémon, while a water attack is particularly effective against fire monsters. You can find the best attackers here.
The goal is to engage in as many battles as possible. So make sure to do this:
Against Team Rocket Grunts and Bosses
Raids
Arenas
You can also use very effective charge attacks in PvP. Here, however, you have to be prepared for your opponents to swap their monsters when they realize that you can use very effective attacks. Therefore, this mode is only somewhat suitable for this task.
Arenas and Raids are probably the best suited for the task
Catch 5 legendary Pokémon: This task is relatively straightforward; catching 5 legendary Pokémon can theoretically be done quickly. However, as of now, there is only one reliable way to do this: legendary raids. There, you can currently catch Kyurem.
In the past, there were also legendary Pokémon
as PvP rewards
in Research Breakthroughs
from Team Rocket Quests
But this is currently not the case. Keep an eye on this as well – it is possible that depending on the event, legendary monsters can be caught in other ways besides raids.
To quickly gather the 5 legendaries, regular raid hours are recommended. These occur every Wednesday and highlight a monster that will then appear in almost all arenas.
Here, especially with the help of remote raids, you can quickly gather the legendary monsters – as long as you find raid lobbies with enough players and have enough passes. There are apps that organize remote raids, where you can seek support if needed.
Raid hours like the one with Kyurem can quickly provide the needed monsters
Earn 5 Platinum Medals: By the time you’ve progressed to the point where you can advance to Level 43, you’ve likely already collected some Gold Medals. The Platinum Medals are now the next level and are simply continued counting. Some examples:
For the Platinum “Collector” medal, you need to catch a total of 50,000 Pokémon
The “Jogger” medal requires 10,000 kilometers from you.
The type medals now require specific monsters from you, such as 2,500 Poison-type monsters for the “Punk” medal.
The first 5 Platinum Medals you will inevitably earn by playing a lot. Only in the even higher levels could it get really difficult to gather the necessary medals.
Especially the collection medals should come naturally over time, depending on how much you catch. However, there are also medals that are not really suitable for leveling: Here are the hardest medals in Pokémon GO.

Genre: MOBA (Mobile) | Developer: Riot Games | Platform: Android, later also iOS| Release: December 10, 2020 (Beta in Europe)
In December, we will begin the beta for Wild Rift, the mobile version of League of Legends. We at MeinMMO were invited by Riot Games in advance to test the game, and our editor Alexander Leitsch is very excited. As a LoL player, he felt at home from the very beginning.
What is behind the game?Wild Rift is the mobile version of League of Legends. It is a standalone game that was announced in October 2019 and has been in development for 3 years. Currently, it is in a beta phase, which begins for players from Europe on December 10. Then everyone can try Wild Rift.
The mobile version is expected to differ from the PC version in several ways:
The controls have been adapted so that characters can be played via touchscreen
A match is expected to be significantly shorter than in LoL
But does League of Legends even work on a smartphone? And does it still have that classic LoL feel? We tried it out and made comparisons to the PC game.
What is LoL? In League of Legends, two teams of 5 players each fight in a combat arena. It typically consists of 3 lanes, along which small minion NPCs walk. Between these lanes is the jungle with NPCs that provide players with gold and buffs.
The objective of the game is to destroy the enemy team’s main building. You play as a specific champion who gains experience points throughout the game to level up and farms gold to buy items.
Where did the information come from? On December 6 and 7, we from MeinMMO were able to access the beta servers and try out Wild Rift. The played version was patch 1.0, and a Xiaomi Pro 9 was used with Android 10.
For our preview report, I completed the tutorial, several bot games, and 13 matches against other players. I have been playing LoL since 2012. At times I played at Platinum level, but in recent years, I have mainly been a casual player and a fan of the e-sports scene.
This is what a round of Wild Rift plays like
In Wild Rift, there is not as much lead time as on PC. Even before reaching the outermost turret on Summoner’s Rift, the minions have already appeared and march along the significantly shorter lane. The reduced waiting times and shorter running paths ensure that the mobile version plays extremely fast-paced and action-packed.
There are more frequent ganks and fights, faster first bloods, and shorter waiting times after a death. Of the 13 matches against other players, most ended within 7 to 15 minutes. Only one went until the 28th minute, and that was a very close match throughout.

In doing so, Wild Rift relies on everything you know from LoL:
You take on the familiar 5 roles: AD Carry, Support, Jungler, Midlaner, and Top Laner.
There are various items that can be purchased with gold. You receive gold for kills and last hits
Each champion has 4 abilities that are unlocked and improved as you level up
The goal is to eliminate the enemy Nexus or to kill the opponents often enough that they eventually give up.
Does Wild Rift work for complete beginners? Yes, those who experience their first LoL moments with Wild Rift will be gently guided. There are:
numerous tutorials
many free champions and a trial mode
Some simplified mechanics, especially regarding items and last hits (we will discuss this later)
Tool tips that still provide assistance during matches
According to the developers, Wild Rift is supposed to be more beginner-friendly than the PC version. In fact, it can even be advantageous to start completely anew with Wild Rift. There are some differences compared to LoL, especially in terms of controls and mechanics. We will now present these in detail.
This is what makes Wild Rift special
More action in less time: At the preview event, I played several rounds against other players, including Ahri in the mid lane, Graves in the jungle, Braum as support, and Ashe as AD Carry. It immediately stood out positively that each character plays uniquely as they do in LoL and that the assigned roles take on the known tasks from LoL.
I found my matches with Ahri particularly enjoyable. I throw skill shots around, fly across the map, and am always right in the action. It just feels incredibly good to hit enemies with a skill shot that they didn’t see coming. Action is the big plus point for Wild Rift.
I move faster across a smaller map and therefore find myself in combat situations much more often. The distances between top, mid, and bot feel tiny, ganks are a constant danger or a chance for me. Numerous times I have taken the path to one of the other lanes to quickly grab a kill there. And if I do get taken down, then respawn times are also low.
In a normal match, respawn timers ranged from 10 to 30 seconds. Only in the one that lasted 28 minutes was I dead for a longer time.
Additionally, Wild Rift reduces all the “pauses” known from LoL. The first 90 seconds at the start of the match, the waiting for minions to appear, the appearance of jungle creatures, or long farming phases. I never really got to focus on farming in any of my matches. So much happened on my lane.
So for someone like me, who has little time and prefers quick action, Wild Rift may even be more interesting than LoL itself.
Flexible gameplay location: Another positive aspect of Wild Rift is that I am not bound to a specific location. Instead of being at my desk on PC, I’ve already played on the couch, secretly in bed while my partner was sleeping, and outside in a Wi-Fi hotspot.
Independence from settings: Although LoL itself is not a game that has great hardware requirements, you still need a PC and a screen. Not everyone has that. Some players only use consoles or play only on smartphones. Here too, Wild Rift scores because the requirements are quite low:
For Android, you need at least:
1.5 GB RAM
A Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor
An Adreno 306 GPU
For iOS, you need:
An iPhone 6 or higher
The controls of Wild Rift
How do you control the hero? The mobile game uses twin-stick controls. This means you perform actions on the left and right edges of your smartphone. On the left side is a simulated controller stick that allows you to move your character in different directions.
On the right, you have various skills and the auto-attack. You activate this by pressing the corresponding button. The skills can also be activated by pressing, although many of them need to be aimed precisely. Almost every champion has these so-called skill shots.
After pressing the skill button, a telegraph appears, and by moving your finger, you can determine the direction in which the skill travels. The skill button acts as the center, and you don’t need to swipe across the entire touchscreen to aim up or down.
This is what one of the telegraphs looks like for aiming with skills.
In addition, several mechanics simplify controls on smartphones. You can set a target by holding down the auto-attack, which will be continuously attacked. The attack will occur automatically once the target is in range. Additionally, if you press the attack button again, your character will automatically move toward the target as well.
How does a LoL player handle with the controls? My biggest concern as a PC player was the issue of precision. Can I land skill shots on a smartphone accurately? Am I quick enough in movement to dodge enemy attacks?
But I can reassure you. The stick controls work flawlessly, and skill shots can be directed precisely to the desired position, at least with some practice.
The buttons are large enough and spaced apart enough so that you don’t accidentally press the wrong one in hectic fights. However, the controls do require some adjustment. My first rounds in bot games were a bit clunky, and many skills went awry. I tested this with the champion Ahri, who brings a lot of skill shots, especially when including the ultimate.
However, I still had issues in later matches with my summoner spells. They are placed too far towards the center for my taste and are thus hard to reach.
The two summoner spells Ignite and Flash are almost in the middle of the screen, making them hard to access in hectic situations.
Especially when I wanted to use an emergency flash, I had to slightly adjust the position of my hand. This once led to me not being able to reach my skills in time, causing me to miss two kills.
The differences in gameplay and mechanics
To make League of Legends playable on smartphones, some aspects of gameplay and game mechanics have been adjusted. Much of this felt sensible, but there were also points that personally bothered me.
The map: Wild Rift uses an adapted version of Summoner’s Rift. The map is overall smaller but features the same creatures in the jungle and is identical in structure. However, the inhibitors have been removed. They are automatically integrated into the 3rd turret. The Nexus towers have been completely removed, but the Nexus itself can attack.
The biggest difference lies in how you move on the map. You always start from the bottom left and fight towards the top right. The developers explained to us that it could be a disadvantage to play with the stick controls from top to bottom, which is why the direction remains consistent.
For you, the map rotates completely, so it can happen that Dragon and Baron suddenly appear on opposite sides. In the first two rounds, this was still confusing, but overall I find this design decision really good and would even wish for such a feature in LoL itself.
This message appears at the start of a game when you would be playing from the top.
Last Hits: A very important mechanic in LoL is the so-called Last Hits. Here, you try to deal the final blow to a minion, the last hit, which provides you with gold and thus allows you to obtain new items that make you stronger.
In Wild Rift, however, there is always gold when a minion dies near you. However, you get more gold when you make the last hit. This feels even easier than in LoL itself.
Your character automatically targets the minion with the lowest health points if you do not manually select another target. You only need to keep moving until the minion has low health to use an attack or ability and claim the additional gold.
Left Last Hit – 65 Gold, right not Last Hit – 16 Gold.
In fact, the gold adjustments lead to faster matches and provide a kind of “noob protection.” Even if you do not kill any minions in your lane, you won’t fall too far behind in items. This is a known problem in LoL itself, where players who dominate a lane usually run away from their opponent.
This adjustment is a great advantage for newcomers, but veterans will continue to focus heavily on last hits.
That is different with the items: Besides controls, the biggest differences compared to the PC version are probably with the items. They play an important role in making your character stronger.
Numerous adjustments have been made here:
There are no potions and no “Doran’s items” with which you would normally start in LoL. You often start with items like the Amplifying Tome (additional ability power) or the Longsword (additional attack damage)
You only have one item available that can be actively used. This is your shoes, which also provide a brief speed bonus when activated. These shoes can also be enchanted to grant a shield (Locket of the Iron Solari), make you invulnerable (Zhonyas Hourglass), or break you out of stuns (Quicksilver)
There are no support items, which makes the role of the supporter somewhat more difficult in my opinion
Although known items from LoL are used, some have slightly adjusted characteristics or stats. Here, you need to be more careful when purchasing.
Overall, I do not like the item system as much as in the PC version. It offers less diversity, lacks the recently introduced mythic items, and especially supporters have a harder time being present during the laning phase with this system. Also, I find just one active item too few, although I can understand that too many items might pose a problem for smartphone UI.
However, since this is still a beta, adjustments can still be made before the release.
Before the start of each match, you can set up a loadout with items. You can quickly buy what you want for your champion.
That is different with the champions: Lastly, Wild Rift also features an adjusted champion pool. Only 47 of the 152 champions available on PC are selectable. However, the developers have already promised that more champions will gradually be released. The Noxian brothers Darius and Draven have already been announced for an upcoming update.
Some champions have adjusted skills so they function better on smartphones. I therefore recommend trying familiar faces first in a bot match or in practice mode.
The following champions are available to you:
Ahri
Lee Sin
Akali
Lux
Alistar
Malphite
Amumu
Master Yi
Annie
Miss Fortune
Ashe
Nami
Aurelion Sol
Nasus
Blitzcrank

When we asked, the developers did not rule out that Wild Rift might receive champions that LoL itself does not have in the future. Although it is “unlikely, but not impossible.”
Passive abilities: While in the PC version some champions have passive abilities on “Q”, “W”, “E”, or “R”, the developers at Wild Rift completely refrained from this. Each button is supposed to have an active ability to avoid confusing players. Usually, old passive effects have also been given new active ones.
That is different in the jungle: The overall setup in the jungle is identical, but there are faster respawn times. Additionally, only one dragon of each element appears and Baron appears significantly earlier in the match.
Picture in Picture: A really cool feature is also available for skills that act at great range, such as Ashe’s ultimate.
If you fire it toward the top lane and hit there, a small window appears at the right side that shows the champion hit. This looks cool and gives a really good feeling, especially when you shoot blind.
Game modes, controllers, and payment model
What game modes are there? Wild Rift relies completely on Summoner’s Rift. The ARAM mode, where there is only one lane and 5 players are basically in constant combat, is currently not available. However, you have various modes available for your rounds on the map:
Training (for trying out champions)
Co-op vs. AI
Normal matches
Ranked matches, where you can compete alone or with 2, 3, or 5 players
Custom matches for tournaments and fun rounds with friends
Wild Rift can also be linked to your normal LoL account. While you don’t share champions or currencies, at least your friend list is identical. Additionally, there are rewards for active LoL players in Wild Rift, including champions, icons, and more. Specific details will be released by Riot Games later.
Can you play Wild Rift with a controller? In principle, it should be possible to use a controller. In our test, however, the Razer Kishi, which we previously used for ESO, did not work.
How is the game funded? Wild Rift is free to play and uses the same payment model as LoL. You can purchase champions for in-game currency or real money. Additionally, there is a number of champions that are temporarily free to play.
Skins, emotes, and other cosmetic content are also available for real money. There is no pay-to-win or waiting times like in some mobile games that can only be bridged with money.
However, there is a nice system of missions and level-up rewards through which you can quickly receive rewards. For each level-up, you get, for example, a champion. For level 6 I got Ashe, for level 7 Vi.
How similar are LoL on PC and Wild Rift really?
Similarities
Differences
The gameplay principle
Adapted but still precise controls
Familiar mechanics like last hits, towers, jungle creatures, buffs, Baron and Dragon
Minor adjustments to mechanics like passive gold from minions and the map rotation
Familiar champions
Not all champions available yet
The same world and lore
Some differences in individual items and the overall item system
The same monetization model
No ARAM
The same friend list
Assessment: An extremely successful mobile version of LoL
Wild Rift really surprised me positively during this test. Initially, I was critical of whether I would enjoy a LoL on my smartphone or if I would end up switching back to PC due to lack of precision. But the game took away this concern early on in the tutorial.
It does take an adjustment period to get familiar with the movement and abilities. But you had that before in LoL itself. Once you get used to the controls, you can fully focus on the action-packed fights. Unlike in LoL, there are rarely long “farming phases,” but constantly skirmishes between players, ganks, and large team battles. Wild Rift avoids rest periods, which makes it even more enjoyable for me than the PC version.
With the short rounds, you can also play a match in between, whether on the couch or when you’re on the go – assuming, of course, you have mobile internet or Wi-Fi. Because all content, including testing champions, takes place online.
Wild Rift certainly does not completely reinvent the mobile MOBA. However, the small adjustments to mechanics provide smooth gameplay and support by auto-targeting minions where it is genuinely beneficial. The only downside is the item system, where I miss diversity and especially usefulness for supporters. I hope that Riot will improve this. Otherwise, I am already looking forward to the start of the beta and maybe we will meet in Wild Rift.

A small Easter Egg in the zombie mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War gives you a strong advantage right at the start of each match on “Die Maschine”. MeinMMO shows you how to solve this small but rewarding puzzle.
What does this Easter Egg bring me? With the Zombie Disco Easter Egg of “Die Maschine,” you get a gifted perk, a nice pile of materials, and a powerful weapon right at the beginning of a round in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
The firearm can even be one of the zombie weapons. This way, you have the chance to get a strong version of the Ray Gun or the Wonder Weapon (T.O.T. machine) right away. However, there are also normal weapons that pop up as purple or orange versions from the box.
Since you can easily and quickly get the box, you should activate the Easter Egg in every round. This way, you save a lot of essence and scrap at the beginning because you have a strong weapon for your zombie hunt, and there’s a drink can with a free perk as well.
The Ray Gun is one of the strongest weapons in zombie mode. With a bit of luck, you can get it right at the start.
Disco zombies dance a meme for you and provide strong loot
How do I get the super box? Start the match normally and set up the Pack-a-Punch machine. In our Beginner’s Guide to Zombie Mode, we show you step by step how it works on “Die Maschine”.
Once you’re back from your crazy journey through the dimension, you can find 5 glowing blue spheres in the room with the particle accelerator. You need to feed these with a shot from your weapon, and when you’ve shot all 5 spheres, the wild Easter Egg starts.
The blue spheres are always in the same places, and the order in which you shoot them doesn’t matter. The spheres do not provide hit feedback but simply disappear when you hit them.
We describe the path to each sphere from the point where you set up the Pack-a-Punch machine.
Sphere 1 – Right at the bottom
You can find the first sphere hidden in the wall on the lowest level under the particle accelerator. After setting up the machine, jump down a floor and look in the direction of the Storm terminal. Go through the group there, and you will see a wall that has an opening on the left side with cables sticking out. If you look from the right into this shaft, you will already see the blue sphere.
For the second sphere, go from the machine up the stairs toward the electricity. This sphere is also a bit hidden in the wall but is much easier to see. Look closely at the wall directly under the Storm hut on the left side, and you will find this sphere.
Sphere 2 is under the Storm terminal. Source: YouTube
Sphere 3 – Right next to the electricity
From the machine, go up the stairs again toward the electricity and this time turn right. Go to the elevated platform and find sphere number 3 between the two terminals directly opposite when you enter the platform via the stairs.
Sphere 3 is hidden between 2 terminals. Source: YouTube
Sphere 4 – Opposite and far up
Go back up the stairs toward the electricity and then stand right next to the box, which can be found on the right side. Turn completely around and look at the opposite side of the room. There you will see 2 lights – one is a lamp and the other, a round light, is the 4th blue sphere.
Sphere 4 can be found at the top on the opposite side. Source: YouTube
Sphere 5 – Under the Arsenal
Here again, you can take the stairs toward the electricity, but this time you have to jump onto the ring that surrounds the particle accelerator. Run left along the ring until you are approximately at the level of the Arsenal (the workbench with the doll to upgrade weapons and armor). Look under the platform where the Arsenal is located, and you should see the last sphere.
Sphere number 5 is also hidden under the Arsenal. Source: YouTube
If you want to see the locations of the spheres once in a video to find them even better, then check out the German YouTuber “Kuschel”. In her video, she shows the locations of the spheres one after another (start at 0:50 minutes):

After you’ve taken care of the 5 spheres, the game will teleport you once more to another dimension. This time, however, you land right in the middle of a big zombie disco, and the dance floor is right in front of the Pack-a-Punch machine, which apparently also has a colorful blinking karaoke mode.
The main act of the party is clearly the zombies, who dance while bringing the loot with the box on their shoulders. A pretty obvious reference to the Coffin Meme (via YouTube).
The zombie mode of Black Ops: Cold War is full of crazy Easter Eggs, small and large stories that you can experience on the release map “Die Maschine”. In addition, there are many challenges and gameplay tasks for which you earn rewards outside of matches. Among them are the hidden “Dark Operations,” which MeinMMO here shows you with the challenges in overview.

In Fortnite Season 5 Chapter 2 has started, and we have received some new locations on the map. Which 5 landing spots are now the best in Season 5? MeinMMO shows you which places are particularly worthwhile and where you can find plenty of loot.
The start of Season 5 in Fortnite: Battle Royale brought several new locations to the map after a big battle against Galactus took place. The well-known Zero Point has also reappeared.
Now that there are new locations and some places from the first map have returned, players have several options to explore the map.
In this overview, we will show you landing spots that can be particularly worthwhile for you. Whether it’s because you find a lot of loot there or special features await you there. We have included some of the old, but also new locations in the list.
What makes this place so special? Stealthy Stronghold is one of the new locations introduced with Season 5. There is now a whole jungle there that you can explore.
As you know jungles, there are many trees that offer some hiding spots in the game. If you like to fish, you will find several fishing spots there. This way, you can quickly fill your collection. Although there are only about 16 chests, together with the fishing spots, you can gather quite a lot of loot.
Pro
Many hiding spots
Many fishing spots
Some loot options
Restart bus available
Lots of materials to collect (especially wood)
Contra
Rather on the edge of the map (can be problematic for the storm zone)
New location (can attract many players who also want to explore)
Stealthy Stronghold
Landing Spot 2: Slurpy Swamp
What makes this place so special? Slurpy Swamp has a lot to offer and is particularly suitable at the beginning of a match, as you find many options to recharge your shield. There are shield mushrooms around Slurpy Swamp, slurp barrels, slurp tanks, and trucks. You can even bathe in the swamp to recharge your shield.
Overall, you will find about 18 chests in Slurpy Swamp. Additionally, there is a restart bus right in the middle of the location in case you need to bring back your teammates. Since the place is not new, players won’t have to search for loot hiding spots.
Pro
Many loot options
Lots of possibilities to recharge shields
Restart bus available
Contra
Rather on the edge of the map (could cause problems with the storm zone)
Can attract many opponents who also want to recharge their shields at the start

Landing Spot 3: Lazy Lake
What makes this place so special? Now let’s come to a location that most of you will already know well and therefore won’t have to spend long searching for the coveted loot. Lazy Lake is not a new location in Season 5, but it now offers the most chests on the map. Here in this town, you will find a total of 41 chests.
Additionally, Lazy Lake is more central on the map, which pays off when the storm zone is getting closer and you don’t want to take damage. If you need to bring back your teammates, you will also find a restart bus here.
Pro
Very many loot options
Restart bus available
More central on the map
Contra
Can attract many opponents
Lazy Lake
Landing Spot 4: Zero Point / Crystal Desert
What makes this place so special? The Crystal Desert has been newly added with the start of Season 5. It is located right in the middle of the map and offers several features and options that are not commonly found on the map.
There are a few loot options scattered throughout the desert, but they are more suitable for solo or duo matches. What makes the Crystal Desert so special are the crystals with which you can teleport and the sand that you can sink into. This offers a lot of movement and hiding options.
Important: The ability to burrow through the sand has been disabled indefinitely. Fortnite Status has indicated that this feature will return once the issue is resolved.
Pro
Some loot options
Many options for loot routes
Faster movement
Offers good hiding places in the sand
Very central on the map
2 exotic weapons in the area
Contra
High likelihood of opponents

If you want to collect materials, you will find a lot here. Especially through the scrap, there is a lot of metal with which you can build your defenses. If you are looking for movement options, you can grab a vehicle and refuel at the gas station that is located nearby.
Pro
Many loot options
Many instant items for healing, moving faster, etc.

The “new” map of Fortnite in Season 5 offers several landing spots where you can start your rounds. Depending on how you like to play, the landing spot can vary each time. Here, however, we have selected some spots that can be worthwhile due to their high amount of loot or special features.
Is your landing spot featured here, or do you have another place you always rely on? Please let us know in the comments which is your favorite landing spot in Season 5!

In Pokémon GO, the 6th generation has been released into the wild, and trainers are diligently trying to fill their Pokédex with the new specimens. However, capturing the new monsters is reportedly unusually difficult, according to players.
However, trainers are reporting problems. Some of the new Pokémon are hard to catch. A bird and a hare are highlighted as particularly difficult. What is going on?
Dartiri and Scoppel – Problem Pokémon?
This is what players are saying: A thread on reddit is currently gaining a lot of attention in the community. Under the title “Is anyone else having trouble catching Pokémon from the Kalos region?” trainer Trevor-on-Reddit asks if other players are experiencing the same as him.
He describes that he used all his Ultra Balls and Hyper Balls as well as silver Razz Berries to catch the Gen-6 Pokémon. However, his circle when catching always remains red. It would cost him 15 Hyper Balls and 10 Himmih Berries to maybe catch an Igamaro.
Many players agree with him in the comments. They write:
“I’m surprised that this hasn’t been discussed more often”
“It’s the stupid hare and Dartiri that I’m having problems with”
“It seems harder than usual, but not too bad”
“Yeah, I’ve burned through almost all my balls”
These two are especially hard? Many trainers are frustrated about the catch rates of two Pokémon from Gen. 6: Dartiri and Scoppel.
The trainer oneoftheguysdownhere (via reddit) writes that he cannot understand Niantic. Scoppel and Dartiri have the same catch rates in the other games as regular spawns like Taubsi, Raupi, or Hornliu. He doesn’t understand why they are so hard to catch in Pokémon GO.
Another trainer describes that he initially accepted the catch rates, “but when I threw a great curveball at a Scoppel with 95 CP and it escaped from the ball… that’s insane. I hate it.”
“The difficulty of the starters seems normal. But Dartiri is driving me crazy!”
“Dartiri is brutal. I tried to catch eleven. Five fled after the first ball and one after the second.”
“I needed about 16 great throws to catch a Scoppel today.”
The problem with Dartiri: Trainers report that they are stuck on the first page of the Kalos Celebration Research. One of the tasks there is to catch a Dartiri. That this Pokémon is now also so hard to catch is preventing many players from completing the new research.
How are you progressing in Pokémon GO right now? Have you also noticed that Dartiri and Scoppel are harder to catch, or is everything normal for you?

The magazine Forbes has released a list of the 10 most valuable e-sports organizations in the world. It mainly includes teams that are successful in League of Legends and Call of Duty. However, the list has caused controversy: The owner of Team Envy calls it “total rubbish.”
What kind of list is this? The magazine Forbes is known for its “Most Money” and “Most Influential” lists. On December 5, a new list of “The Most Valuable Esports Companies 2020” was published (via Forbes).
The article states:
Esports was considered a major hype topic in 2019. Celebrities like Drake and Jennifer Lopez invested in esports.
But the Corona crisis hit esports in 2020. Events in large stadiums were canceled, merchandise sales plummeted, and media and sponsorship revenues fell. An investment advisor is quoted: “The valuation of esports is adjusting to reality.”
After a rise in the value of the 10 most valuable esports teams by $240 million in 2019, the value of the teams fell by $150 million in 2020.
The US site Dexerto summarized the Forbes list in this graphic: (Source: Twitter).
How did the list come about? Forbes says the list was created after it spoke with two dozen organizations, analysts, investors, and advisors.
The values are estimates.
US Teams with LoL Focus Dominate Top List
What are the most valuable teams? The list mainly ranks teams that are strong in games with “franchise” leagues like League of Legends, Call of Duty, or Overwatch. These leagues have been on the rise for several years.
Team Solo Mid is ranked 1 among the most valuable teams, followed by teams like Cloud 9 and Team Liquid.
These are three organizations that have been the most successful in the US League of LoL, the LCS, in recent years. The teams also have esports teams in a variety of other games.
Mostly, teams from the USA are represented on the list. “G2 Esports” is the only European team. Additionally, Korea is represented with T1 and Gen G.
Overall, the list appears to be very “LoL” heavy. 7 of the 10 teams listed have a LoL team in one of the top leagues. This seems logical, as League of Legends is considered the most valuable and largest esports title.
Doublelift and Bjergsen were the most important players of TSM in LoL in 2020.
Team Exits Top 10 Despite Rising Revenues
This is the criticism of the list: The CEO of Team Envy, Adam Rymer (featured image), sharply criticizes the list. He took over Team Envy in the summer of 2020. The team was ranked 8th on the list in 2019, but it is no longer in the top 10 of the most valuable esports teams in 2020.
His team was ranked 8th last year, since then revenues have increased, they have Post Malone as a new owner of the group, added a CoD team, and won the first championship
But apparently that is all irrelevant, and they have fallen off the list
The list is based solely on what gives the article the most reach
Esports Organizations Rely on Mix of Entertainment and Sports
In the discussion in the article, several other esports experts emphasize how difficult it is to compile a list of the “most valuable esports teams”. There is so much data and many different directions.
Moreover, organizations pursue different approaches and are hard to compare with each other.
Some esports teams are really focused on esports, while others are rather seen as media companies.
Indeed, many esports organizations are now following a dual strategy:
on one hand, there are teams that play in the leagues like traditional sports teams
many teams also have successful content creators under contract. For example, Myth, one of the largest Twitch streamers, works for TSM. The FaZe clan has a variety of successful YouTubers under contract, who are more entertainers
Who is more valuable for a team? T1 has classic esports players and Twitch streamers under contract.
The dichotomy is evident in T1. They have Faker, a classic and highly serious esports player under contract. Yet they also have Tyler1, a controversial and quite unserious Twitch streamer. Who contributes more to the “value” of the esports organization, and how can that be measured and compared?
The first raid of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is coming soon, Castle Nathria with its ten bosses. To prepare, some players have recreated the entire raid in a small game where a pineapple playfully explains how the mechanics work.
What kind of pineapple? Tactical Air Horse makes games where pineapples are at the center. More specifically: You play a pineapple yourself, all enemies are pineapples (or salmon), and fruits are generally heavily featured.
The latest game from the creators is “Castle Pineapplia”, a simplified version of the upcoming WoW raid Castle Nathria, which opens its doors to players on November 9.
The special thing about the game is that the mechanics of each boss from the raid are explained in an easily understandable way and played out in a shortened version of the fight. This way, you learn in a heavily simplified form what to expect in the actual raid.
More tips for raiders in WoW Shadowlands on MeinMMO:
How does it work? You can find the game on the official website of Tactical Air Horse for free as a browser game or available for download for a donation of your choice. In the menu, you can choose the boss you want to fight, only as the pineapple version.
The controls are quite easy: WASD or the arrow keys move your pineapple, the space bar triggers interactions and any other key shoots … well, small pineapples at the opponent to deal damage.
The first phase of the fight against Count … Ananasius.
Although it is not particularly accurate, it serves its purpose for demonstration. In our DPS ranking for Shadowlands, you will find the currently strongest classes.
Is it really useful? Actually, it is more useful than it initially seems. Although the entire design is extremely simple, the mechanics themselves shouldn’t feel too foreign to you through the game.
With a little thought, the abstract mechanics of the browser game can be transferred to WoW. For example, when a pillar appears in the 2D game that you should stand behind, the step behind the pillar in the real fight is not so far away anymore.
Between game publisher Activision-Blizzard and streaming provider Netflix, a dispute has arisen. Activision accuses Netflix of having poached its CFO in 2018, despite an existing contract, causing significant damage.
What happened? Spencer Neuman was CFO at the publisher Activision-Blizzard. His contract ran until April 30, 2020. However, on December 31, 2018, he resigned from his position, only to appear two days later as the CFO of the streaming provider Netflix. Neuman still holds this position.
At that time, Activision Blizzard did not comment on the departure of the CFO. It was only stated that the departure had nothing to do with the company’s financial report.
But now it appears that Activision Blizzard is not satisfied with how Neuman’s departure transpired two years ago, and has since filed a lawsuit.
What is the core of the lawsuit? According to the law of the state of California (via leginfo) a fixed-term employment contract cannot be broken without valid reasons. Since Neuman still had 2 years left on his contract, the move to Netflix would not have been legal.
In the indictment (via Deadline) from the publisher, it is also stated:
Netflix recruits talent without regard for ethical and legal obligations. To shape the workforce to its own liking, Netflix not only recklessly lays off its own employees, which it considers “appropriate,” but also conducts a years-long campaign of unlawful poaching of executives from Netflix’s competitors, regardless of their contractual obligations. Netflix deliberately disregards established California laws, including California labor law itself, which explicitly recognizes and allows the enforcement of fixed-term employment contracts.
Furthermore, Netflix is also alleged to have recently negotiated a sensitive deal with Neuman’s assistance:
Compounding the situation, Netflix was involved in tortious conduct when Activision – with Neuman’s support – negotiated a commercial partnership with Netflix for the distribution of Activision’s linear media content. Netflix then induced Neuman to violate his fiduciary duties to Activision, thereby gaining another unfair and unethical advantage over Activision, one of Netflix’s competitors.
All these actions allegedly caused significant damage to Activision. Therefore, Activision is now demanding that:
Netflix must not poach any people from Activision who have existing contracts
Netflix must pay damages to Activision
Similar lawsuits against Netflix had already come from Fox. It was stated that in the end, Netflix could not poach employees from Fox anymore (via Deadline).
Curiously, Neuman’s switch roughly coincides with the time when a Diablo TV series for Netflix was first announced. Diablo is firmly part of Activision-Blizzard’s franchises. However, since there have been signs of life from the series again, it is unlikely that its release will be hindered by the legal dispute between Activision Blizzard and Netflix.
