The German Twitch streamer and YouTuber Jens “Knossi” Knossalla suddenly discovers his responsibility as a role model for youth. He announces that he will stop his casino streams, which have made him one of the biggest internet stars in Germany. However, fans suspect other reasons for the sudden change of heart.
This is what Knossi says: In a statement on his YouTube channel, the influencer announces that he will no longer show casino streams. He says:
“I have thought a lot about this. I just want to leave this world feeling good someday, and that’s why I’ve decided […]: There will be no more casino streams on this channel from this year onwards. It’s just over. […]
I know that you can’t choose whether you are a role model or not, […] – It just can’t go on forever. There will simply be young people who think they have to do this because you do it too.”
Knossi then elaborates that he no longer sees himself in gambling. He is also tired of having this image and being criticized for it.
He is now more focused on “entertainment” and is doing things that no one has ever done before. Money and viewer numbers have never been important to him anyway.
He simply doesn’t need the casino streams anymore. He will continue to show poker, as it is part of his roots.

These are the reactions: Under the video, some viewers express doubt that Knossi is stopping streaming because he has discovered his conscience. After all, he has been doing this for 3 years and his conscience has never bothered him: These doubters believe that new regulations on gambling, which came into effect on January 1, 2021, are the reason for the entertainer’s sudden change of heart.
In fact, Knossi had already announced at the end of 2020 that he would no longer broadcast a casino format. At that time it was about the book club, because from January 1, 2021, new rules for gambling in Germany would come into effect that would make “the sites on which Germans play” illegal. In addition, there seems to be a limit on bets to 1€ spins. This drove him to end the format.
In a video from December 30, 2020, Knossi was still gambling in the online casino and wanted to cover a “€40,000” deficit without a betting limit upwards.
If the change of heart came, it came suddenly (via youtube).
Knossi was the big rising star in German Twitch in 2020.
“Sold soul to RTL”
Other users believe that Knossi is quitting gambling because he has signed a contract with RTL for a new show and is planning an image change. One user even says that Knossi has “sold his soul to RTL.”
There are some fans who regret that Knossi is quitting gambling – others think it is the right decision.
Gambling streams are notorious but extremely successful
This is what it’s about: The topic “Online Casino” is a tricky one: It’s a legal gray area in Germany.
Even though they are notorious, “casino streams” are incredibly popular in Germany, especially the so-called “high roller” streams. Streamers play for high stakes on online gambling machines and achieve high viewer numbers. They shout at the machines wildly, fuel wins by screaming continuously, and lament their fate in case of a loss.
In his footsteps, Knossi followed in 2020. The former amateur actor in reality shows became incredibly popular with these streams: He became one of the 5 biggest German streamers.
Böhmermann covered Knossi and gambling in a ZDF show in November 2020.
However, Knossi also came under fire from critics. Recently, Jan Böhmermann targeted him and showed how difficult it is for influencers like Knossi to promote gambling and make a young audience, which comes from gaming, eager for gambling.
Since today, January 14th, you can secure the game Star Wars: Battlefront 2 for free in the Epic Store. It had a rough start in 2017 but has since become a successful game. At Epic, you even get the latest Celebration Edition.
What kind of game is it? Star Wars Battlefront 2 is an online multiplayer shooter set in the Star Wars universe. In the game, you experience massive battles, both on the ground and in space.
You have the choice of various characters, including the heroes and villains from the original trilogy, the prequels, and the latest sequels.
Although the game focuses on multiplayer battles, it also offers a campaign. In this, you experience the story of Iden Versio, an elite soldier, with whom you can replay the history of the Empire from its fall after Episode VI to the rise of the First Order.
If you want, you can take on the roles of well-known characters like Luke or Darth Vader in Battlefront 2.
How do you get the game for free? From January 14th to January 21st, you can visit the Epic Store and secure Battlefront 2 for free there. You only need an account.
You will receive the Celebration Edition, which was released on December 5, 2019. This includes:
The base game
More than 25 hero outfits
125 trooper outfits
Special emotes, voice lines, and victory poses for your characters
This edition still regularly costs €39.99 on Steam.
However, after the removal and later reworking of the loot boxes, the game developed positively. One reason for this was the many updates. New modes and many characters from various episodes were added to the game.
Additionally, there are still events and bug fixes for the game. However, fans should not expect new major content. Nevertheless, there is a modding community that continually brings small innovations.
If you want to experience Battlefront 2 now, you can also get the game through EA Play. This has even been integrated for free into the Xbox Game Pass:
The Swedish Ubisoft studio Massive is working on new games based on Avatar and Star Wars: This raises concerns among fans of The Division about their game series. Because there seems to be no more room for post-apocalypse in Malmö. What is the future of The Division 2 and will there even be a The Division 3?
This is the situation:
After the release of The Division 1 in 2016, the team at Massive seamlessly continued working on The Division 2 – The Division 1 was supported in the following years with updates and DLCs by other Ubisoft studios
The Division 2 was released on March 15, 2019, and received 3 episodes as free DLC
The expansion “Warlords of New York” was released on March 3, 2020 – that was a surprise at the time
Leading the project are David Polfeldt and Julian Gerighty. They are the two frontmen of the “The Division” series.
It seems likely that the new Star Wars game will be implemented by the team that has been working on “The Division” in Malmö.
Julian Gerighty, the mastermind behind The Division.
It may therefore be that Massive in Malmö is no longer working on The Division.
There is also evidence that Massive is looking for many employees, but only for the Avatar project and the new Star Wars project. No employees are being specifically sought for The Division.
Even in Ubisoft’s press release, it is only stated that Massive is working on Avatar and Star Wars, with The Division only mentioned in hindsight. Gerighty says they are at the beginning of a new journey. For him, it is now a departure from the world of “The Division.” But he and the team are very excited to start a new experience.
At the moment, there is a lack of a clear statement about what will happen to The Division.
The Division 2 fell short of Ubisoft’s sales expectations
The future of The Division had already been questioned because the sales of The Division 2 fell short of expectations, especially on PS4 and Xbox One. The Division 2 has been pushed by Ubisoft towards being a flop.
The tactical shooter was part of the reason why Ubisoft wanted to revise its release policy in November 2019: Apparently, The Division 2 was too similar to its predecessor and they could not explain to fans why they should buy a new The Division.
This is the hope of the fans: On Reddit, the topic “What is now with us?” is discussed in detail. Many fans assume that The Division is not being developed further at Massive. They believe the studio is fully occupied with Star Wars and Avatar.
However, there is hope that the “The Division” series will be continued by another Ubisoft studio. There is hope for “Red Storm,” a studio in North Carolina that previously contributed to The Division 1 and 2.
On Reddit, it is also conceivable that the series will pause for a while and take a breather. There is hardly any thought of an ultimate end for the series. After all, Massive has already invested a lot into the series. Some fans could even imagine a spin-off.
Some also point out that it is a strange time for a series like “The Division,” since the current pandemic makes The Division, with its scenario of a deadly virus that depopulates cities, perhaps too close to reality.
We at MeinMMO have once again plunged into the world of PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds) after a long break. The goal was to try out the new map “Haven”. The result turned out to be a harsh reality check.
In PUBG, Season 10 started on December 16. Part of the new content are PvE opponents and a new map. The map Haven is a small, industrial island. And by small, I mean: It is only 1×1 kilometer in size. In contrast to the first map from PUBG, Erangel, which is 8×8 kilometers.
Our team: I invited two colleagues from MeinMMO to test the new dwarf map.
The choice fell on our Warzone expert Maik Schneider. Who feels like he spends more hours in Warzone during the day than I am awake.
Additionally Florian Franck, who is still quite new to our MeinMMO team. He boasts a lot of shooter experience in Escape from Tarkov and has also played plenty of PUBG, at least in Season 1 to 5.
I myself have spent a manageable time in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Especially in the early days after the release, I played. I secured a handful of chicken dinners, mostly played in a team.
Our goal: We wanted to form our opinion about the new map. With this crew, I felt quite confident that we would at least land in the top 3 a few times. However, the new map Haven did not prove to be hospitable to us at all.
The harsh reality check on Haven
So the first rounds went: Admittedly, the first round was overwhelming for me. Maik was throwing things at me shortly after landing like “There’s a level 2 helmet here, do you need it?” or “What do you want to play? There’s a Vector here.” Slowly, the picture of PUBG came back together in my mind. Yes, right – items have levels. I need that! Of course!
Then it was actually the first opponent we encountered on the map who took us out. All three of us. One opponent.
He was waiting in the grass, hardly visible in green clothing. He lurked until we were all three visible on the grass and then mercilessly took us out. Round over. 9th place out of 11. Great.
Before starting the second round, we agreed: We don’t know the map. So we should play more cautiously.
With this mindset, we survived at least 5 minutes on the map and came in 8th place. We didn’t even deal any damage to opponents.
This continued over round 3 and 4. Poor placements. We just couldn’t get a foothold. Wherever we showed up, it felt like the opponents were prepared for us. Even though we were sneaking, they almost always knew where we were.
What we changed: In the first four rounds, we landed close to the action. Well, that’s never entirely avoidable on a 1×1 map. But our landing spots were really always very busy. In rounds 5 and 6, we preferred to land “outside”. As you can see in the screenshot, we managed to last much longer. Instead of 4 to 5 minutes, we fought for 10 to 15 minutes.
Although our placements improved, as soon as it came to a fight, other teams that used the map to their advantage won. They knew exactly which doors or windows to dash through to ambush us in seconds behind the next corner.
Finally a kill on Haven – that felt good. But it didn’t help us into the top 3
We didn’t achieve our goal on Haven. In none of our matches did we reach the top 3.
New map, new luck
Are we just bad? There were essentially two reasons why we performed so poorly.
I am a noob, Maik’s CoD skills don’t help us in PUBG, and Florian’s PUBG expertise is rusty
OR
Everyone else is currently playing the new map, which can be specifically selected in the map rotation, and we are just too inexperienced for it
(or both)
So we tried our luck on a randomly chosen map in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. With our trio, we played on Karakin and Sanhok after Haven.
There we performed much better and came in second place in both matches. We also felt the battle royale experience again. When only one or two teams are left against you on the map, and the next few minutes definitely decide the victory. The heart rate rises, and one becomes fierce.
The balance after 2 hours of PUBG with our team
Here we could play with the size of the map. Look for cover, observe the rotations of opponents from a safe distance, and ambush unsuspecting opponents. The full tactical program.
On Karakin, we were close to securing the victory. But an opponent who could aim suspiciously well, even though he actually didn’t have us in his line of sight, quickly took us out.
Unfortunately, it didn’t quite work out for the victory on Sanhok either. The last opponents were simply superior to us. It’s a shame, but it still makes you crave more.
May I introduce? Flo and Maik – Engaged to … win
Conclusion: For us as (re-) entrants, this is not for us
What stands out: Haven is noticeably smaller than the other maps in PUBG, and you can tell that directly when you jump out of the plane and see the map in overview.
Haven is designed to provide a fast gameplay experience. Houses with many doors allow for continuous fighting. We didn’t experience the usual slow-paced gameplay from PUBG, which at times almost borders on camping, in our matches at all. You land, grab a weapon, and are immediately challenged. It’s like landing in a densely populated area on a map for 100 players. Fast action without much preparation.
For me, as a re-entering player, this is not suitable at all. I find all sorts of new weapons on the ground and then have to check whether it’s a shotgun or an assault rifle. And what accessories I can and want to equip it with.
Haven feels like it is aimed at PUBG players who are at least “intermediate” but just want to play a quick match. Those who know the map and the items, who have dealt well with the skills in PUBG, get a quick gunfight and also success here. Even our wait times were a maximum of a minute. Everything is fast. However, it is too fast for beginners.
Have you played the new map of PUBG yourself? What are your feelings about it? Let us know here on MeinMMO in the comments and exchange ideas with other players about it.
Maybe you also have tips for beginners like us that we can apply directly on the new map. This way, the start might be easier, and you won’t end up dead within 5 minutes.

The shooter Zula Europe is not in great shape at the moment. The publisher wants to close the servers. The reason is that the developers are no longer providing updates. There has been silence since 2019.
What is happening? The Spanish publisher IDC Games distributes the shooter Zula and its European version Zula Europe. The game is developed by the Turkish studio MadByte Games.
However, the developers have been silent for some time. Their last update on the official site was in October 2019, and the last update on Steam was posted in November 2019. So, there has been no news from the studio for over a year.
In a tweet, IDC Games has now announced they will close the game’s servers if the developers do not respond. It says: ‘We are sorry, but only the developers can change this situation.’

According to many users, one of the problems is that they can no longer play the game. Individual rounds or even the game itself would not start. During testing, Zula Europe did not run for us either.
This is why it is curious: It is generally rare for a publisher to turn against the developer of one of their games. Normally, the two studios are in contact with each other and work together.
In case of disagreements, it can happen that developers separate from unpopular publishers. However, in this case, it seems that the developers are no longer responding. According to IDC Games, MadByte Games has not responded to any of their inquiries.
Players are sad, demand their money back
What is Zula anyway? The free shooter for PC strongly resembles the popular and successful Counter-Strike. Two factions compete against each other on different maps and in various tactical game modes.

However, Zula is hardly played anymore. Zula itself still has an average of 570 players on Steam (via steamcharts). The European version has even fewer, with just 40 players on average (via steamcharts).
This is what the players say: On Twitter and Facebook, numerous users are expressing their dismay that Zula is being discontinued. Despite the few players, there seem to be some who are very attached to it.
More frequently, however, refunds for payments made are demanded. Zula offers an in-game shop where boosters, weapons, and items can be purchased. These are available for points or gold, the premium currency of Zula.
What happens next with Zula is uncertain. Although there is still no specific date for the shutdown of the servers, it remains to be seen whether the developers will respond again after more than a year.

Mobile games were extremely successful in Germany in 2020. Here we show you the 5 games that generated the most revenue in Germany in 2020 and reveal why they are so successful.
This is shown here: The analysis page App Annie looked at the revenues and playtime of mobile games worldwide. They also focused on Germany.
The 5 games that generated the most revenue in Germany in 2020 were highlighted. Here players spent the most money.
The state of mobile gaming: The analysis by App Annie shows not only the most successful games but also gives a general overview of gaming on smartphones. What is particularly interesting is:
Casual gamers account for 78% of all game downloads, but only for 23% of the revenue from games
Core gamers, on the other hand, account for 66% of the revenues, but only 20% of the downloads
Both groups spend about the same amount of time in games – core gamers account for 55% of the total time and casual gamers for 43%
The remaining percentages are attributed to casino players who play casino apps on mobile
In general, the mobile market is huge. According to analysts, up to 120 billion dollars are expected to be generated by mobile games in 2021.
But now to the question of which 5 games in Germany could generate the most revenue. We show you the games and explain why they are so revenue-strong.
Place 5: ROBLOX
What kind of game is this? This is a huge platform where you can sign up and create worlds. The setting resembles a mix of Minecraft and Lego and is very child-friendly.
In Roblox, you can basically do anything you want. You can create your own mini-games or enter mini-games created by other players. The variety is large. You can race, play shooters, or ride in giant roller coasters. There are hardly any restrictions.
Roblox is primarily a game for children and is designed accordingly. In the app store, there are no age restrictions, and parents can set what children are allowed to do in Roblox.

How much money was earned? Analysts from Sensor Tower estimated the revenues of Roblox in 2020 at 1.1 billion dollars. However, it is unclear how much of that came from German players.
How does ROBLOX generate its revenue? The app store lists Roblox as free to download.
In the game, there is a currency called Robux, which can also be purchased with real money. With that, you can buy avatar items or equipment. However, the developers do not promote this part heavily.
Another part of the revenue comes from the mini-games offered. Game creators charge Robux for players to experience the mini-game.
What about Pay2Win? This topic is often controversial in Roblox. Some games can only be played with Robux, while other games are free. So, if you want to play certain games, you have to invest real money.
In some cases, the games are heavily promoted and players are tempted to make purchases. However, there is typically no major Pay2Win in Roblox.
Criticism is mainly directed at the fact that children are lured into the game through advertisements and are then encouraged to purchase coins.
In Destiny 2 and Valorant, cheaters are now facing tougher challenges. Bungie and Riot are intimidating a seller of cheating software with a joint lawsuit. This marks Bungie’s second victory against such a provider.
This lawsuit is about: MeinMMO reported on January 12 that the creators behind the two online shooters Destiny 2 and Valorant have united in court. Bungie and Riot jointly filed a civil suit against “GatorCheats” and its operator Cameron Santos.
The studios’ lawyers accused Santos of developing cheats and disseminating them on his site. According to the indictment (via scribd.com), the following damages were incurred:
Millions in damages for Bungie and Riot – since both Destiny 2 and Valorant can be played for free and the main source of income then comes from in-game purchases.
The reputation of Destiny 2 and Valorant has suffered irreparable harm, and the trust of honest players has been violated. Therefore, Guardians and Agents spend less money in the shop.
Santos allegedly profited thousands of dollars and did not respond to previous cease-and-desist requests. Therefore, Bungie and Riot demanded damages and that GatorCheats and its partner sites and social media accounts cease to distribute cheats.
That was it for the cheat shop
This is what happened now: An official ruling has not yet been made. We do not yet know whether or what penalty the court in California will impose. However, the lawsuit has already achieved some success.
GatorCheats has ceased operations. Anyone who wishes to visit the site is greeted by this text:
It says: ‘In accordance with a lawsuit filed by Riot Games and Bungie, GatorCheats will be closed indefinitely.’ (As of January 14, 2021)
We also find the same text on the Twitter account of GatorCheats (via Twitter). On January 12, the shop page still stated that they would return soon; only renovations were taking place for the time being. Now, however, the operators have likely shut down the site due to the lawsuit.
What does this mean? This initially means that intentional cheaters will have to get their cheats elsewhere. This affects not only Destiny 2 and Valorant. For all other “supported” games, things are currently at a standstill.
According to PCGamesN, GatorCheats was already served by Activision-Blizzard in September 2020 with a cease-and-desist order under the threat of lawsuit, to stop distributing cheats for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone. At that time, however, Santos had maintained support for previously sold cheats, just not sold any new subscriptions.
Bungie and the fight against cheaters
The PC version of Destiny 2 is currently plagued by cheaters in the Crucible.
Bungie subsequently announced that it wants to fight cheaters more quietly. The Destiny developer is largely silent here – unfortunately very to the dismay of the community.
By doing so, they aim not to reveal their strategy to dishonest players and to maintain the element of surprise. Santos is likely to be quite surprised by the lawsuit being pursued against him and the demanded damages.
However, in October 2020, Bungie was already able to achieve a significant victory against another cheat seller:
Do you think that cheat sellers will gradually fall one by one, allowing cheaters to be dealt with? Or will players have to continue to struggle with aim-botters, wallhackers, and worse for a long time? Let us know your opinion in the comments.
On January 27, the female version of the Demon Hunter class, which has only been male so far, will be released in Lost Ark. However, this is not a “classic” removal of the gender lock, as the female version has its own skills and moves.
Gender Lock in Lost Ark: Like many other Asian MMORPGs, Lost Ark has the so-called gender lock for its classes. This means that each class can only be played with one gender. Thus, the Mage base class is always female and the Warrior is always male.
However, this is set to change soon. Lost Ark has massive updates planned for 2021. With the first update on January 27, developer Smilegate is introducing a female version of the Gunner class for the first time, which has been entirely male so far.
However, this is not a removal of the gender lock in the classical sense, but similar to how MMORPGs like Black Desert Online have handled it until now.
Female Demon Hunter, but still not quite
This is the Gunslinger: On January 27, the next update will go live in the Korean version of Lost Ark, which will bring the new class Gunslinger among other things.
It is the female version of the Demon Hunters, a firearms class with high range. This is what the Gunslinger looks like in action:

Attentive fans immediately noticed that the abilities of the Gunslinger differ from those of the Demon Hunter in their appearance, range, and CC effects. The Gunslinger is not just a “female skin,” but actually a new class that has its own characteristics and features.
Commonalities include the core elements of the Demon Hunter gameplay:
Long-range gameplay
Smooth transition between 3 different firearms in combat
Certain abilities can only be used when a specific weapon type is active
The feeling of the class should therefore remain intact.
A comparison to the Gunslinger is provided here by the skill demonstration of the Demon Hunters:

This approach is reminiscent of BDO classes such as Ninja and Kunoichi, Musa and Maehwa, or Ranger and Huntress. While they are very similar in gameplay feeling, they still show differences in gameplay.
This path seems to have been chosen by the developers of Lost Ark as well.
What’s next with the gender lock: Smilegate seems to continue its strategy with the new classes. The next alternative class version has already been announced for March 2021, namely for the Battlemaster.
The Battlemaster has so far been a purely female class. With the Striker, it will now have a male counterpart. There is currently no gameplay footage of the Striker, but it can be assumed that he will also be a distinct class.
Striker is the male version of the female Battlemaster class
What do you think of this way of the “gender lock removal”? Do you find new classes exciting or would you prefer if there were no differences between genders? Let us know in the comments.
Who voluntarily goes to prison? Players of Red Dead Online, who are on a special server.
What kind of server is this? It is the private server “Wild West RP” of the now available as a standalone game Red Dead Online, which you can access through its official website. On this server, players engage in role-playing, embodying their characters properly to create a vibrant Wild West world.
There you will find law enforcement officers and bounty hunters, but of course also bandits and other criminals. Everyone has their role and plays it with passion. This operates similarly to the role-playing server in GTA Online.
There are always interesting events taking place that players can participate in, including herding valuable cattle that bandits want to steal. The operators of the server even distribute plots of land that some players may occupy. Other players then break into the houses to rob them.
Crimes on the RP server of Red Dead Online can lead players to the in-game jail.
Jail in RDO can be fun thanks to role-playing servers
What’s up with the jails? It creates a constant cat-and-mouse game between law enforcement and criminals on the server. To make this even more interesting, the operators have introduced a jail.
Players manage it and supervise the inmates. These are other players. If someone is arrested for a crime, they go to this jail and truly participate. For every month a player spends in jail, one minute passes in real time.
Because sitting in this jail can actually be fun. There are always events where breakouts are possible. Or the inmates play out how they redeem themselves and lead a better life after their jail time. There are also activities that help reflect on past misdeeds.
It is possible to bribe the operators of the jail and negotiate a deal to shorten the stay. There are even parole hearings to possibly reduce the time in jail.
There are even some players who are considering attacking the jail to take revenge on the guards there.
Some players are coming up with plans on how to take revenge on the guards
The jail on the RDO server “Wild West RP” is a very interesting place that is important for role-playing.
Do you also play on a RP server of Red Dead Online? What do you think about the jail idea?
The Twitch streamer Rumathra has founded a German server for the survival MMO Rust . The server is a success: Streamers like Trymacs, Papaplatte, or Dhalucard are achieving strong numbers. Even MontanaBlack wanted to drop by. But for now, there’s a break. The founder of the server is very disappointed about what happened there and is taking the Twitch event offline for now.
How successful is the event on Twitch? The Twitch streamer Rumathra has founded a server for Rust. It has been running every evening from Saturday from 5 PM to 1 AM. The event has quickly made Rust the biggest game on German Twitch:
In December 2020, Rust was ranked 81st on German Twitch with an average of 114 viewers
In the last 3 days, Rust was ranked 1st on German Twitch with an average of 35,620 viewers
Among the most successful German streamers in Rust are:
With such high viewer numbers, one can assume that the event is commercially a complete success. This can also be seen from the fact that now even the biggest German Twitch streamer MontanaBlack has announced that he wants to be part of Rust now. Although not everyone liked that.

Therefore, the server is going offline now: Earlier today the founder of the server, Rumathra, announced that he is not satisfied with the situation at all.
Rumathra says: He is very disappointed with how people behave on the server. He thought he could invite as many streamers as possible and it would then be cool.
But on the server, people are getting hurt because others do not behave cool at all. The server is out of control. He did not want that.

He is now calling on his community to send clips of people who behaved “meme-like or trivializing”; he wants to kick them off the server. The community should snitch.
Server operators want to establish more rules, involving women
Besides the trivialization of sexual harassment, Rumathra apparently is bothered by “content fishing”: This refers to smaller streamers hunting and killing the big streamers on the server like Trymacs or Rewinside, so they can generate interesting content for their viewers.
Rumathra has announced that he will keep the Rust server offline today and seek help with the organization. He seems to be bothered that streamers are having a bad time on the server and that it falls back on him.

Apparently, in Germany, one cannot do without a larger set of rules. The streamer Rewinside also says: Everything has to be organized and new rules coordinated.
They apparently want to involve women equally in the decision-making process.
What is Rust and why is it popular? Rust is a survival MMO from 2013 that suddenly became the hottest game in the world in 2021. On December 27, the streamer group “OfflineTV” launched a special server in the USA: 50 streamers from YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook gathered together and played Rust on a server. This sparked the huge hype that is now spilling into other countries. Since many different personalities and communities come together at Rust events, this poses a huge conflict potential.
When will the Rust server return?
Update 14.1., 12:01 PM: Rumathra has now announced that the German Rust server is expected to return on Friday, January 15, or Saturday, January 16.
Meanwhile, the conflict surrounding Rust has further escalated. Some German influencers have been harassed by a troll network:
The Call of Duty: Warzone has been plagued by some nasty bugs and poor balancing in recent weeks. Now the developers have released a patch, and MeinMMO is taking a look at whether it has made a difference.
What is there to know about the update? Raven Software, the development studio behind Call of Duty: Warzone, deployed a small update last night, January 13, with some balance and bug adjustments to the servers.
You don’t need to download anything outside of the game for the update. You get the adjustments automatically when starting Warzone – unlike the Mid-Season Update of Black Ops Cold War which brings new content for CoD 2020 today, January 14.
With the patch, the developers are nerfing the overpowered tactical rifles from Cold War and the nasty burst pistols “Diamatti” in Warzone. They also addressed the unfair Stim Glitch and the broken MAC-10 blueprint. MeinMMO shows you the patch notes and initial analyses of the nerfed weapons.
Warzone: Update brings important DMR nerf and bug adjustments
Ritterlichkeit (Battle Pass level 95) – All values now match the base MAC-10
DMR 14
Bullet penetration now at assault rifle level
Reduced damage range
Moderate recoil increase for the 2nd and 3rd bullet
Light recoil increase for subsequent bullets
Reduced range with headshots
Reduced damage for shots below the chest
Front grip attachment is now weaker
Field agent grip attachment is now weaker
Type 63
Bullet penetration now at assault rifle level
Reduced damage range
Front grip attachment is now weaker
Ergonomic Speznas grip attachment is now weaker
Diamatti
Maximum damage reduced from 45 to 40
With Akimbo, all damage multipliers are now at 1
Tactical equipment
No more infinite Stim charges
Challenges
Season challenges have been fixed and should now display and count correctly
Analyses show – OP weapons now have significant weaknesses
The assessments of the OP weapons come from the results of initial analyses by some CoD experts who published videos on the new values shortly after the nerfs. Check out these English videos if you want to know more details about the nerfs:
What has changed with the DMR 14? Initial tests showed that the recoil of the tactical rifles is still manageable and quite pleasant. The tactical rifles could thus remain a strong option in Warzone, although they are harder to control at longer distances.
According to CoD experts, the developers made two important adjustments:
Bullet penetration is no longer at sniper level
The OP tactical rifles now have limited damage ranges
According to the analyses from “truegamadata”, the range of the DMR 14 before the first nerfs was practically infinite. No matter from what distance you caught your enemies, the DMR hit hard. Now the range is significantly limited and damage drops without attachments at just 19.1 meters.
The damage values before and after the patch. Source: YouTube
What has changed with the Type 63? The same applies to the Type 63. Here too, there were minor adjustments to the recoil, but they do not ruin the rifle. In addition, there is a limited damage range (22 meters without attachments) and significantly lower bullet penetration, so the weapon can no longer shoot through thick walls.
XclusiveAce tweets about the nerfs:
It is. People just need to start branching out more to see it. Snipers/marksman rifles dominate the DMR at range, SMGs and close range ARs beat it in its max damage range (0-18m) & the accurate ARs, LMGs, & M16 beat it in mid range fights. It’s still useable but not dominant
[…] Sniper rifles / DMR rifles dominate the DMR [14] at long ranges, submachine guns and close-range assault rifles beat them in their initial damage range (0 – 18 meters) and stable assault rifles, LMGs, and the M16 beat them in mid-range fights. It is still usable, but not dominant.
What has changed with the Akimbo Diamatti pistols? The pistols received a slight nerf of nearly 10% in damage. According to CoD experts, however, the change in multipliers for the Akimbo variant is crucial to take their OP status away from the weapons.
If you shoot at enemies with the Akimbo burst weapons, it no longer makes a difference whether you land body or headshot hits – you always deal the same damage. These multipliers had ensured that your enemies went down in record time. Now, the damage is still strong but no longer overpowering.
In addition to the nerfs, two annoying bugs are disappearing from the game.
With the Stim Glitch, cheaters could use their tactical items infinitely. Since the Stims are designed to survive in deadly gas outside the battlefield circle, cheaters exploited this bug to wait out the end of the round outside the battlefield.
In addition, the developers fixed the weapon blueprint “Ritterlichkeit” of the MAC-10. The blueprint was available through the Battle Pass and could be unlocked at level 95. Since you have to buy the pass to obtain the weapon, there were even Pay2Win accusations, as the weapon reportedly dealt nearly 30% more damage than the base version.
Through the nerfs and bug fixes, good gameplay is rewarded more in Warzone than the choice of OP weapons or the exploitation of unfair bugs. Check out 6 tricks in Warzone that every good player should know if you want to improve quickly.

With the expansion Echoes of the Atlas, the hack and slash Path of Exile (PC, PS4/PS5, Xbox One/Xbox Series X/S) receives some balancing changes – especially for the Ascendancies.
What changes are there? With Patch 3.13 “Echoes of the Atlas” balancing changes will be implemented for the three classes Elementalist, Inquisitor, and Deadeye. These are intended to make the Ascendancies even more interesting.

We present the most important adjustments for the Ascendancies:
Simplification of the stats: The Ascendancy classes are to be slightly simplified but made more exciting. “Passive skills” have fewer stats, which will become more important.
For example, the “Quartz Infusion” of the Raider allows you to have Phasing at all times starting with version 3.13. Previously, you had to meet certain conditions, such as killing monsters, to have a chance of activating Phasing.
Notables: The notable skills are being revised to simplify the choice between them.
For instance, with “Master of Metal,” an additional Impale hit and the chance to Impale have been removed, as the “Passive” was too strong with them.
Optional strategies: Through a rebalancing of the powers in the Ascendancies, players should obtain optional strategies by choosing skills that were previously not very useful.
For example, players chose the skill node “Masterful Form” of the Slayer rather rarely, as it was not strong enough even for characters who had invested in “Frenzy Charge.” Therefore, it now grants +1 to “Maximum Frenzy Charges” instead of modifiers for charge duration.
Redistribution of the Ascendancy passives: The values between the Ascendancy passives will be redistributed and the layout or bonuses of the Ascendancies will be changed where it would make them more attractive for a broader range of character builds.
For instance, the Chaos-/Cold Damage over Time Multiplier on “Withering Presence” and “Frigid Wake” of the Occultist grants more Chaos-/Cold Damage, making this skill node more useful for hit-based Chaos and Cold builds.
What do players think about the changes? The community is predominantly excited about the balancing adjustments for all three affected classes.
ottoginc writes on reddit: “This redesign of the Occultist is sooooo cool.”
kfijatass says: “Deadeye’s Occupying Force is really very interesting.”
Rossmallo explains: “As much as I love the Elementalist and am thrilled that he is getting buffed… the removal of the Herald Mana Reduction really hurts.”
What do you think about the balancing changes Path of Exile is getting? Are you excited about it?
The MMORPG Black Desert Online (PC, PS4/PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S) is conducting an interesting event in Southeast Asia: If you play enough in Trial mode, you can get the online role-playing game for free.
What is this action about? Black Desert Online (BDO) is a Buy2Play title. You can purchase the standard version for 10 euros and then play for as long as you like without a subscription.
However, there is a 7-day Free Trial during which you can try out the MMORPG. If you like it, you actually need to buy it – technically, as there is a way to get it completely for free – but this currently only applies to the SEA server in Southeast Asia. Previous events like this have also been made available to us shortly after.
If you play on the SEA server, which is easily possible, you will gain access to the full standard version, including the new class Nova, through a new event:

How does the event work? The Free Trial has been extended to 30 days as part of the event. To participate, click on the official website on the “Test for Free” button and get your guest pass for 30 days.
The extension of the Free Trial has a specific reason. If you manage to level up your hero to Level 50 within this time, you can continue to play Black Desert Online for free. The developer Pearl Abyss will then gift you the MMORPG.
30 days is more than enough time to reach Level 50. As soon as you reach Level 50 on any day of the free trial by 11:59 PM, the game will be unlocked for you the following day at 12 PM.
Event for Black Desert could also start in Europe soon
Who can participate in the event? The event is aimed at new players who have not yet had an account for the MMORPG BDO and simply want to try the trial. Additionally, the event is for guest access. Anyone with such access who plays as a guest can also participate and receive the MMORPG for free starting from Level 50. And the entry is currently worthwhile according to expert and streamer PvEnvironment.
How long does the event last? It started on January 13 and runs until January 27 at 11:59 PM.
This means you have until January 27 at 11:59 PM to reach Level 50. Then the MMORPG will be completely unlocked for you the following day at 12 PM.
What do you need to pay attention to? Currently, the event is only taking place on the SEA server of BDO. However, you can easily play there. It is conceivable that it will also start here shortly, but no date has been set yet. The last time this event occurred in our country was in July 2020.
During the event period, you are not allowed to purchase any packages or a paid access to the game. If you do, the event will be over for you.
However, you can buy packages once you have received the free access after reaching Level 50.
Will you participate in the event and get the MMORPG Black Desert Online for free?
Warning, if you are currently in WoW: Shadowlands and meet a priest, they can annoy you terribly. The annoying thing is that it even continues after the fight.
What is this exploit? The WoW community is currently discussing a nasty bug or exploit that gives priests unexpected powers. After a mind control, they still have further influence on your character. They then spin around like paralyzed. Those who don’t know what to do about it have to log out.
We show you here how the exploit works and how you can defend yourself against it.
Priests can change your turning speed
Here’s how it works: On reddit , player Automaton17 warns that a chat command is exploitable in battlegrounds. With mind control, one can dictate how fast players turn.
A priest uses mind control on an opponent
While the spell is active, they enter a command for “turnspeed”
When the mind control ends, the altered turnspeed value set by the priest remains
The speed can be set to any conceivable value. 0, so players can no longer turn at all or high values like 3,000, so one spins around like crazy at the slightest touch of the turning key
This mainly affects the so-called “keyboard turners”. Players who turn their character left or right with keys like A and D.
As players report, this is supposed to not persist after logging out. After logging in again, the actual values for the turn speed should be automatically restored.
What can you do about it? By logging out and logging back in, you regain your old values for turning the character.
If you don’t want to log out, you can also enter a command in the chat to restore the default value.
“/console turnspeed 180”
What does it look like in the game? Also from Automaton17, who pointed out the exploit, there’s a clip from WoW. It shows what it looks like in the game when you set your turn speed to 2,000 via command.

It resembles wild Beyblades spinning in circles. So if you’ve seen players in Oribos or other cities spinning like crazy in the last few days… it’s probably due to this command. It has probably been in the game for a while and is now circulating through the community and gaining attention.
The German Twitch community has created a server for the survival MMO Rust. An incident occurred there on Saturday: A female streamer was sexually harassed. This led to a conflict on Twitter that continued to escalate. German-speaking streamers like Handofblood, Lara Loft, Tinkerleo, Shurjoka, or fisHC0p have come under fire from a trolling network.
This was the original conflict: On Saturday evening, the German Twitch event for Rust started. The streamer Tinkerleo was asked by another streamer: “Do you want to sit on my face?”
The incident itself was quickly resolved: The streamer apologized for his inappropriate comment. That was not okay. The streamer was banned from the Rust server for one day.
But the incident triggered a heated discussion on Twitter:
Some spoke up: The female streamer shouldn’t be so sensitive. In gaming, people talk like that. She was ruining the fun with her behavior – anyone who puts themselves out there on the internet has to deal with it.
The biggest German streamer MontanaBlack took the incident as a joke.
Yet many players on Twitter supported the female streamer, saying that such behavior is simply unacceptable. There is nothing funny about it. That is sexual harassment.
Some big streamers also took a stand, first and foremost the German influencer Handofblood, even though he was not involved in the Rust event. Handofblood said: We need to discuss this openly and take a stand.
Sexual harassment is a part of gaming life, and it must stop: “We find girls really cool and unfortunately regularly see that they are harassed and disadvantaged.”

On January 11, Handofblood stated that he had banned many people on Twitter using a tool. Through Twitter Block Chain, people were banned who followed certain accounts.
Handofblood explained that he had been massively harassed since Saturday evening and had the choice to either disappear from Twitch and leave the field to others or to counter with bans.
This is now the new escalation stage: Last night, on Wednesday, January 13, several influencers reported that they had also been harassed in real life:
Several influencers reported receiving phone calls and being threatened by a voice that was distorted to disguise it. The calls allegedly came from other German influencers.
In addition, a massive number of false orders were placed through the delivery service Lieferando.
Those affected include streamers: Handofblood, Lara Loft, Shurjoka, Tinkerleo, and fisHC0p.
Tinkerleo explained that the incident was so uncomfortable for her because the false orders would now affect restaurants that are grateful for every order during the Corona pandemic, only to be disappointed later. Because they went out for nothing, because some troll finds it funny.

Handofblood has apparently contacted the police right away. When he was advised to also involve the Federal Network Agency to catch spoofers, he replied: “I’m already much further ahead.”
He warned other influencers last night, not to answer the phone if they are called from his number.

Shurjoka says there are people sending photos of her as a minor. It is a disgrace what is happening right now. But she would again take a stand against sexual harassment.
The streamer fisHCOP says the little troll should feel free to call him again and tell him about his group. He only understood “Lego” and “building blocks.”
The operator of the German Rust server: Rumathra.
The operator of the German Rust server has also drawn consequences and has temporarily ordered a pause while new rules are being created. The server is expected to start again on Friday or Saturday. In the meantime, the German YouTuber StandartSkill has opened his own server for Rust:
For me, there are no cons. Who wants to start on a server where only a giant clan plays that has been taking out everyone else for months? You can rebuild your roleplayer castle, maybe even better.
DaSepp: From Rust Legacy to the current state, it’s a world of difference. Just take a look at Legacy gameplay and see all the additions and how much better the graphics are now. Stagnation is regression, and Rust has never stood still.
MeinMMO: What have been the biggest and most important changes since release? What did they mean for the game?
DaSepp: The development of the game’s progression is at the forefront. Initially, you collected blueprint fragments and upgraded them to a book to learn items. Then eventually, a leveling system was introduced, which wasn’t received well.
Then scrap was introduced, along with the workbench and research table to learn items. There were of course also mini-helicopters, boats, cars, and horses.
The dynamics have totally changed: new monuments and events have been added repeatedly, like the Chinook helicopter, which drops a loot crate, the two oil rigs, and the cargo ship that has a lot of loot to grab.
There has been a lot of progress in building, for example how the resource cupboard works, allowing you to now place floors and ladders in foreign territory.
In the past, everyone stored their loot at the top of the base because no one could reach it easily. Suddenly, everyone had to change their building style. So much has changed, and I could go on forever.
MeinMMO: Is there something that particularly annoys you and that needs more work?
DaSepp: I don’t have any extreme criticism. Rust runs smoothly for me, you should have at least 16 GB of RAM and a good CPU. Many complain that Rust is laggy. In my opinion, this is due to their “potato PCs”.
What I would like to see are animals in the water: crocodiles, sharks, maybe a whale or dolphins. I would love to fry up a dolphin steak and craft a dolphin suit.
How newcomers fare in Rust
MeinMMO: You often help newcomers in the game. What motivates you to help them?
DaSepp: When I started, I didn’t know anything either; learning everything was hard and took time. At first, you’re always the fool. With my knowledge, I’m always happy to help. There are no “freebies,” you want the newcomers to learn something and stay true to Rust. Just killing “bambis” is no challenge.
Rust is only peaceful at the beginning when you start new and wake up on the beach.
MeinMMO: How hard is it to start with Rust? Do you need survival experience?
DaSepp: It’s not easy, but you don’t need any experience. Knowing how a survival game works in general is beneficial.
But to say now: I have 3,000 hours in DayZ, ARK, or Conan Exiles does not mean that you can play Rust too. Rust is different, you don’t know at first how it works. Watch videos on YouTube, turn on your brain, and learn from mistakes.
MeinMMO: Where do newcomers find other players/groups?
But always be cautious; the average Rust player is a jerk: be careful who you trust and talk to potential teammates beforehand. Don’t get too upset if someone messes with you; it’s just a game.
Rust is a time-intensive game
MeinMMO: How much time do you need to invest in Rust? Can casual players have fun too?
DaSepp: Rust is not a game for casuals. Sure, there are mod servers where you don’t have to pay maintenance costs for the base and play with more loot.
For solo players on a full server, you really need to play 6 to 8 hours a day, otherwise you can’t keep up. Smaller groups don’t play much less per day either.
MeinMMO: Can you also play Rust completely alone?
DaSepp: Sure, I prefer to do it that way! I have played about 4,000 of my over 5,000 hours alone. You can play how you want, don’t have to take anyone into account, no one annoys you, and it’s a challenge, but also not a walk in the park.
MeinMMO: How do you accumulate so many hours, and what keeps you motivated?
DaSepp: I have been playing Rust for years now. Except for wipe ends, I rarely play another game. Occasionally, maybe 7 Days To Die or Football Manager. Over the years, that’s not really that many hours. It’s centered around one game.
MeinMMO: How is the current boom of Rust being received by the community, and how active are you in the community?
DaSepp: You’re surprised, but most people don’t care. There are now many “noob bases” around the map that are easy to raid, so you just take them.
Most will be gone again as soon as they play something else. Rust was already one of the most played games on Steam before the hype – it will remain that way after the hype.
And I would advise all newbies not to use the “Pokimane Doorskin” available with the Rust Twitch Drops. They will be raided immediately.

MeinMMO: Thank you for the interview!
Are you eager to try Rust yourself? With our beginner’s guide, we show you how to avoid taking hits for 23 hours in Rust and do it better from the start.
Since the end of 2020, Rust has been experiencing a hype on Steam and Twitch. MeinMMO interviewed a Rust veteran and asked him if the current hype around the survival game is annoying or beneficial and if motivation doesn’t eventually wane after 5,000 hours.
Rust has a strong focus on PvP, and newcomers often have a hard time getting into the game. After new record numbers on Steam in January 2021, many beginners are on the servers and do not know how to survive on Rust Island.
Who did we interview? MeinMMO spoke with “DaSepp” and asked him what fascinates him about Rust, what advice he gives to beginners, and if monthly wipes ever get annoying. He himself is over 30, a passionate Rust player, and helps newcomers take their first steps in Rust.
Rust offers plenty of freedom
MeinMMO: When did you start playing Rust and what has your journey been like?
DaSepp: That must be around 5 years ago now. I had previously played Reign of Kings, but the devs messed it up and then stopped working on it.
A buddy of mine then started Rust, and I joined him. Two total noobs, it was a rocky start.
MeinMMO: Why Rust? What makes it better than other survival games?
DaSepp: The devs play a big role. Rust has been worked on since the beginning of beta. Every month a new update comes out, either with new content or performance improvements. What is important to me are the forced wipes: at the latest after a month, everyone starts from scratch again and has a new chance, which is also better for newcomers.
Rust gives you the opportunity to play the game as you want: you can walk around all day, clap people, or you can build yourself a roleplayer hut with a farm, swimming pool, and play the piano. The possibilities are endless.
“Only farming gets boring over time”
MeinMMO: Which mode do you enjoy playing the most and why? (PvP or PvE)
DaSepp: Clearly PvP! Even if I sometimes like to have my peace, PvE becomes very boring quite quickly. I need the thrill, the pressure, the challenge. I’m not farming all the time just so I can’t slap my booms (C4) on some base.
MeinMMO: How big is the problem with griefers in Rust?
DaSepp: In Rust, you can do a lot against griefers and give them little chance: build smart, set traps, don’t engage with people you don’t know. And if someone does grief you, you can see what you could do better next time. And best to ignore it; if they don’t get a reaction, they’ll get bored. So I would say Rust doesn’t have a griefer problem. If you don’t allow it, others can hardly influence your game.
MeinMMO: What do you enjoy doing in Rust the most? (Base Building, Exploring / Looting, Raids, or something else)
DaSepp: Well, I’m a lazy base builder; I’m happy when I play with someone who likes doing it.
Base building in Rust can take a lot of time.
However, I have no problem with doing the electrical work, building garages, or setting up a farm. I enjoy looting and exploring the world the most. But I also spend a lot of time farming.
If you don’t do it yourself, no one else will. Raiding is of course always the highlight you work towards. Farming enough booms (C4) to take down the clan that has been annoying you all wipe.
Regular wipes are only advantageous
MeinMMO: What are the pros and cons of regular wipes?
DaSepp: The advantages, from my perspective, are:
Performance
Everyone has the same chance again, a messed-up wipe is invalid, and you can rewrite history
It doesn’t get boring; sooner or later you’ll be sitting on chests full of loot, have a mega base, and raided all your neighbors, and then you won’t know what to do next
A new map, because Rust has thousands of map seeds; you almost always start on a new one

For me, there are no cons. Who wants to start on a server where only a giant clan plays that has been taking out everyone else for months? You can rebuild your roleplayer castle, maybe even better.
MeinMMO: How much do you think Rust has changed?

In Destiny 2, a hideout has now been found that leads you into creepy tunnels and offers more riddles for the Guardians. If you want to delve into the secrets, you should take an exotic from Season 12 with you.
About this hideout: Your goal is in the European Dead Zone (EDZ). Choose the fast travel point at the church “Trostland.” March past the church to the half-destroyed house with the inscription “ABS Kastner.”
Jump into the first floor here. Here you will see a fireplace. It conceals the secret passage.
Use this exotic: Equip the exotic hand cannon Hawkmoon. Now fire a full magazine into the fireplace. Suddenly, the bricks burst open and a passage is revealed:
Hawkmoon opens the passage behind the fireplace
It might be that the fireplace is already open for you. This is because you are in the public patrol area and another player recently opened the way with Hawkmoon.
What to discover behind the fireplace
You now walk through narrow tunnels and between the walls of the EDZ – not for claustrophobics. Overall, the secret passage feels more like a horror game: insects crawl through the frame, dim light and echoing splashes accompany you on your narrow path.
Follow the secret passage all the way to the end and you will find a laptop next to a red lamp.
Who has been working secretly here?
Players unfortunately have not yet figured out what, if anything, you can do with the laptop. However, the computer is still on, it lights up – who has worked here until recently?
This hidden door awaits: There is another way that is a bit harder to find: In the hallway just before the laptop, you can turn right. Follow the gap in the wall and you will soon find yourself in front of a locked door with a conspicuous control panel.
A light is glowing red there, but you probably can’t interact or do anything here (yet). If you pay close attention, you will see that you have now entered a new area: the Reservoir.
The door is (still) locked
What’s with the secrecy in Destiny 2?
Only on January 13 was a hidden door found behind which a spaceship in the Hawkmoon design and story bits related to Crow/Uldren await you. In addition, there is currently a blocked passage here. This hideout is located in the Reservoir, exactly the area where the secret passage behind the fireplace leads to.
Read more about the other hidden area here on MeinMMO:
Guardians still cannot make sense of the two secrets of the last days.
However, it is certain that Season 12 has more to offer than most players would have expected. Since the final hunt for the High Celebrant has gone live, the only thing missing is the ability to farm Hawkmoon with random rolls.
That the exotic from Season 12 is now also the key to a secret passage gives the Guardians hope for more. More than just a simple repetition of the story mission from the Hawkmoon quest could await us before Season 13 starts in February. Also, the seasonal title “Guardian” cannot currently be obtained, as 2 secret triumphs have not yet been fulfilled.
In Pokémon GO the Hoenn event has been announced. There will not be a new Shiny, but some surprises that were not expected.
When does the Hoenn event take place? It starts on January 19 at 10:00 AM and runs until January 24 at 8:00 PM local time. So you have just under a week to take advantage of the bonuses.
The Hoenn event is all about Generation 3. It is another event preparing for the Kanto Tour, which starts in February.
Hoenn Event with Rayquaza and exclusive move
These are the bonuses: This event is a bit different from the past generation events. The bonuses are different. Here’s an overview:
Pokémon like Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Swablu, Trapinch, Snorunt, Bagon, Meditite, Roselia, Carvanha, Camaub, and Swablu appear in the wild
Quests, eggs, and raids also include Pokémon from Generation 3
In Level 5 raids, Groudon and Kyogre will appear
There is a new collector challenge for the event
The exclusive move Meteor Mash will be available for Metagross when you evolve it
There is a timed research that ultimately includes a Rayquaza with the move Hurricane – this can also be Shiny
In the timed research, you will also receive 10 candies from Kyogre and Groudon
There is a free bundle in the shop that includes 3 Remote Raid Passes
Rayquaza appears once at the Hoenn event and can also be Shiny with luck.
What about Shinies? Niantic has stated that you might be able to catch Shiny Meditite with luck. This Shiny has been in the game for a long time. No new Shiny has been announced, at least so far.
What can the exclusive move do? Meteor Mash was previously only learnable on Community Day. This move has not been available since 2019 and greatly enhances Metagross.
Thanks to this move, Metagross becomes one of the best attackers in Pokémon GO and you should definitely secure this move.
That was surprising: Alongside the exclusive move, the return of Rayquaza is also surprising for many trainers. The Pokémon can only be caught once through research, but had not been announced beforehand.
Rayquaza is considered, similar to Metagross, one of the best attackers in the game. Additionally, the Shiny form is celebrated, as the green Rayquaza becomes black.
What happens next: After the Hoenn event, an event focused on Generation 2 is supposed to start. It begins on January 26 and runs until January 31. More precise details have not yet been announced.
Pokémon GO has announced the Community Day in February. It will revolve around Roselia and bring two useful bonuses. We will reveal all the details to you.
This is the Community Day: On Sunday, February 7, 2021, the Community Day featuring Roselia will take place. The event runs from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM our time.
All info about the Community Day with Roselia
What bonuses are available? For 6 hours, you will have an increased chance of encountering the Pokémon and can also benefit from these bonuses:
During the event, the distance required to hatch eggs will be reduced to a quarter
Incense will last for 3 hours during the event
If you evolve Roselia into Roserade, it will learn the Charge Attack Meteorologist (in the Fire version) and the Fast Attack Bullet Seed
The Pokémon Budew can be found in 2 km eggs
What about Shiny Roselia? This Shiny is already available in Pokémon GO and will of course also be obtainable on Community Day. You can recognize the Shiny by its differently colored flowers:
This is what the event offers: During the Community Day, you should receive a special surprise when you take a photo with Roselia.
For 1 Euro, there will also be a special research task related to Roselia. Those who already possess the ticket for the Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto will receive this research for free.
