The MMORPG placed you in the town of Tyrehampton, where you could take on the role of a resident and experience your everyday life. Developers have to announce closure
Why is it being discontinued now? Ever, Jane has had a rough time since its successful crowdfunding campaign in 2013. The MMORPG never had many players, and development progressed only slowly. It never got beyond beta. Furthermore, the graphics appeared outdated even by 2013 standards.
The release of Ever, Jane was planned for 2020. In August of last year, however, the team had to announce that the date could not be met due to turbulent times. It has now been stated that Ever, Jane will not be released at all.
“It is with great sadness that we have to announce the game’s closure,” says the official website. The servers closed on December 20.
The team stated that they simply ran out of money. The idea of introducing a subscription to cover ongoing costs was not well received by the community.
Can it continue? The development studio hopes that perhaps a savior will come riding in on a high horse to buy the game so that it can continue. However, this seems rather unlikely. The MMORPG speaks to too small a niche.
In the MMORPG Tibia Online, it is legal to sell your characters for in-game currency. A player acquired a level 439 Druid for approximately 110 Euros and also received one of the rarest items in the game for free.
What exactly happened? User mathisbynens posted some screenshots on Reddit for Tibia. In them, we can see how a male Elder Druid was acquired for 2,091 Tibia Coins, which is approximately 110 Euros.
However, the new owner found a Mysterious Scroll on this character. This is a very rare item granting access to the coveted mount, Rift Runner.
This Mysterious Scroll is said to be worth around 50,000 Tibia Coins, which is 15 times the actual character value and thus about 1,600 Euros. The new user is said to have already started an auction for sale.

Is the sale legal? Yes, since August 25, it is legal to sell characters in the game. Participation in such a sale costs approximately 2 Euros + 12 % of the sale value. Furthermore, the character must have reached at least level 8 and meet several other requirements to be sold legally.
With this offer, the developers want to prevent them from being sold illegally on eBay or other platforms. Especially in Venezuela, it is popular to sell Tibia content for real money. Some have earned more money than with regular jobs.
An inconspicuous item that many would have overlooked
How could this happen? On Reddit, there are some users who may have made the same mistake. The Mysterious Scroll is an inconspicuous item, and many would have considered it junk.
For instance, user OverwhelmingNope probably overlooked the item as well: “I can’t blame the seller. I also didn’t know that this item existed.”
ScrewATT would have just considered it a useless item: “It looks like the useless pages you get in various access quests.”
Whether the item was accidentally on the character or was really sold out of ignorance is not known.

What is the new owner doing? The buyer of the character is said to have created a new character and is now selling it. He has given it the creative name “Mysterious Scrollzeiro” (via Tibia.com).
The level 8 character is currently for sale with a minimum bid of 65,000 Tibia Coins. This would even be more than indicated in the estimate.
The auction is still running until January 30 at 10:00 AM our time. So far, there has been no bid.
There is trouble around the Twitch emote “PogChamp”: Twitch has replaced the face of the emote after 9 years and is now changing it with different streamers. However, the politically charged atmosphere in the USA makes the situation difficult.
What’s going on with PogChamp? The emote “PogChamp” has been around since 2012. It shows the streamer Ryan “Gootecks” Gutierrez looking extremely joyful.

However, Omega Jones is not a racist. He then shows the whole clip in question. Here it becomes clear that he wanted to say something completely different: White is not an overarching term for a people like black because white breaks down into Italians and Scots and other nationalities.
While “black” would have the commonality that they were stolen from a land they love, that their heritage was stolen from them and their identity. All that would have been left for them would be being black.
So Omega Jones was willfully misquoted to create a false image of him. He wanted to say something completely different than what the short clip suggested. That only served to misrepresent him.
This is the discussion: It is being discussed that every time Twitch tries to promote a marginalized group, there is a strong backlash, and then they are too soft in protecting streamers and punishing aggressors.

This is Diluc: Diluc ranks at the top of every tier list. The character deals a lot of physical damage in melee combat with his great sword and does so consistently. Additionally, his Pyro attacks are also effective at range. He should be your choice if you want to deal a lot of damage in a short time. However, you must keep in mind that you need to invest a lot of time in his upgrades and that especially Free2Play players may face difficulties.
Diluc is considered the best DPS character in Genshin Impact
This is Klee: With her attack, she can ignite a large area and deal a lot of damage in width. Furthermore, she can distract and occupy enemies with her elemental attack for a long time. The pure Pyro damage is definitely comparable to Diluc, and those who want to deal damage quickly should rely on Klee.
This is Mona: Can inflict enormous damage to enemies through her Elemental Burst, but can also support teammates from a distance. As a main DPS character, however, Mona is not that strong, as there are better alternatives. Mona’s strength comes to the fore in short bursts. Use the Elemental Burst, then switch back to your main damage dealer.
Another advantage of Mona is her Hydro element. This increases the damage of Pyro attackers by the reaction “Vaporize.” So if you have Klee or Diluc on your team, you can enhance their damage with Mona.
This is Qiqi: A strong healer is Qiqi. She has the ability to heal all teammates through the damage she inflicts on her enemies. You can fire Cryo attacks at your opponents with Qiqi and thus support your teammates. Among healers, Qiqi, along with Jean, is the best character, as they heal your characters the fastest.
This is Venti: The supporter is armed with a bow and deals Anemo damage. Venti can gather enemies with his special ability so that you can hit them all with area damage.
Additionally, with Venti, you can use your elemental abilities significantly faster. This applies mainly to characters with the Anemo element, but also to all other fighters.
This is Jean: This character can be used as a main damage dealer as well as a supporting damage dealer. Jean only becomes really strong when you have a copy of her. Because of this, her elemental ability can attract enemies faster and cause 40% more damage.
Jean only belongs to the S-Tier because she is really strong as a support. Her healing is enormous and you should primarily use her for that reason. The side effect as a damage dealer makes Jean doubly useful. One downside: she is a 5-star character and therefore hard to obtain.
This is Ganyu: Although she is a DPS support character, Ganyu is one of the characters that can inflict the most damage among Cryo attackers. She is a support character who can also be used as a DPS dealer.
Especially her role as a damage dealer is done really well by Ganyu. She has an incredibly high base damage that she can deal. Also, she has skills that are suitable for attacking.
Her support abilities should not be underestimated either. As an ultimate, Ganyu can rain ice shards down on enemies. An attack that can hit a large area.
Ganyu lands in the S-Tier because she deals solid damage even without a constellation. However, Ganyu only becomes really strong when you have 6 copies at best. This is hard to achieve with a 5-star character that is already quite rare. With such a constellation, Ganyu dominates many fights.
This is Zhongli: With Zhongli, a strong Geo character was introduced in December 2020. While Zhongli does not deal the most damage, after his buffs, he becomes really strong as a support.
Zhongli can petrify his opponents, thus effectively supporting the main DPS. As an ultimate, you can create a meteor shower that can hit multiple enemies at once. This is also a useful ability as a supporter.
Zhongli lands in the S-Tier because with update 1.3, Geo characters became slightly stronger and the character works well without many constellations.
This is Xiao: With Xiao, there is a powerful damage dealer with Anemo abilities. As expected from a DPS character, Xiao deals a lot of damage while being quite agile and fast.
Xiao jumps through the air and, unlike all other characters, does not take damage. He also has the double wind turbine as a special ability, which is quick and robust.
Xiao lands in the S-Tier because he is quick, agile, and strong. However, there is a downside: You only get the maximum benefit at level 6 of his constellation. At level 6, your ultimate will automatically recharge when you hit 2 or more enemies. But even without this ability, Xiao is powerful and definitely recommended.
What makes up the A-Tier? Characters in the A-Tier are quite strong, but compared to the S-Tier, they are weaker in some areas. However, this does not mean that you have major disadvantages here. Often, the differences are just minimal.
This is Keqing: She is incredibly strong, especially due to her special ability. This ability deals a lot of damage, costs relatively little energy, and has a short cooldown – so if you want to deal a lot of damage but don’t want to rely on the Pyro DPS dealers, you can fall back on Keqing.
This is Tartaglia: This character is very versatile. He can deal damage from a distance with a bow and then quickly switch to melee combat. His elemental ability shouldn’t be underestimated either, as it allows him to use his special ability very quickly.
This is Ningguang: This character is also a strong damage dealer, but only unleashes his true power when you have at least one copy of him. This unlocks the first constellation of Ningguang, which converts damage to an opponent into area damage.
This is Xiangling: This character is free to unlock and deals solid Pyro damage, although it doesn’t have a great range. As a free-to-play player, this is a good choice, and you don’t need any further copies to use Xiangling effectively.
Compared to Klee or Diluc, this character is not as powerful as a damage dealer. However, you can play Xiangling effectively as a support, especially if you have a copy of her. This will make your Pyro attacks deal 15% more damage, which especially benefits Klee or Diluc.
This is Xingqiu: Here you have a character with two advantages. First, he can heal your other fighters. On the other hand, he increases your damage through his special ability. As a support character, Xingqiu is truly a wonder weapon.
This is Razor: Becomes increasingly useful as the battle progresses, as the more frequently he uses his elemental burst, the faster it regenerates.
Razor only becomes really strong when you have 4 copies, as this provides your opponent with 15% more damage from physical attacks through his elemental ability. Keep in mind that Razor is only an A-Tier character if you have enough copies.
This is Bennett: You can mainly use this character as a support, as his ultimate ability heals you quickly when you are below 70% health. If you have more health, he boosts your attacks.
Bennett is also a good alternative to the support character Qiqi, as he balances damage and healing better. Even without a constellation, he is playable, but at level 1, the limitation of the ultimate is removed. If you get the constellation to level 6, all melee fighters in the ultimate’s radius receive a fire damage bonus of 15%.
This is Diona: This character can create a protective Cryo shield that remains active even after switching out Diona. Characters in this shield then move faster and skills are easier to use.
Diona becomes really useful when you have a copy of her. This way, she gains 15 energy crystals back after using her special ability – so you can use this ability faster.
This is Fischl: She is armed with a bow and can deal Electro damage from a distance. Even though she is only used as a support, she is also a solid damage dealer. She can temporarily transform into a raven and fly over the map. This way, she constantly inflicts Electro damage, even when you are not actively using her.
This is Albedo: This is a strong support character. Albedo generates a geo flower as an elemental ability that can elevate him. After that, he jumps to the ground and deals damage to all nearby enemies.
Furthermore, Albedo’s ultimate increases the elemental mastery of all characters by 125 – at least temporarily. This allows all your characters to deal more damage and recharge their abilities faster.
Das B-Tier
What about B-Tier? Here you will find mediocre characters. In certain situations, one character or another is strong, but then performs significantly worse in other situations.
If you have no other characters to choose from, you can choose fighters from here, but you should rather fall back on the above-mentioned alternatives.

What about the best team? Just because the fighters are at the top of the tier list doesn’t mean they harmonize well together in a team.

This is what’s happening in Fortnite: Today, on January 13th, Update 15.20 will be applied. This is the first patch applied after the Christmas break. We have summarized the most important changes for you and created a version of German patch notes.
2 new weapons in the game
What’s new? Update 15.20 has introduced 2 new weapons into the game. These are a shotgun and a new exotic weapon in the form of dual pistols.
The guns were partly leaked by data miners some time ago:
What kind of weapon is this? The new shotgun comes in 5 rarities: common, uncommon, rare, epic, and legendary. The magazine allows you to fire 8 rounds before you need to reload.
The reload time is said to be 5.7 seconds. One player showed that the damage from the common shotgun is 93 damage. This means you can take away a decent portion of health points from your opponents. The new Lever Action Shotgun is celebrated by Fortnite players.

Update 15.20 brought some changes that players can now explore. Also new weapons that you can discover and try out. It remains exciting to see how Season 5 will continue in the coming weeks.
The goal of many players in World of Warcraft is to continuously improve. However, once a certain degree of strength is reached, it becomes increasingly difficult. The new Great Vault from Shadowlands addresses exactly this problem.
What is the feature? The Great Vault is one of the new features in the Shadowlands expansion. It replaces the weekly chests that you received in Battle for Azeroth for completing Mythic Keystone dungeons.
Instead of rewarding you with a random item, you receive a selection of up to nine items from dungeons, raids, or PvP – depending on which activities you have completed.
Additionally, the Vault always provides an overview of how many and which items you can receive. A visit to the Vault in Oribos or a look at your Mythic Keystone dungeon overview shows which activities you still need to complete to get more or even better items.
You can see at the Vault what you need to do to unlock rewards.
How does it work? Each week you can choose from up to nine items offered by the Great Vault. You can control which loot you receive.
By killing bosses in a raid, you receive loot at the corresponding level from the raid. For dungeons, you get dungeon loot, and for PvP, you receive PvP gear.
The more activities you do, the larger the selection becomes, and the higher the difficulty level, the higher the item level. In our special on MeinMMO, we explain how the Great Vault works.
Easier to Improve Missing Gear
This is the problem the Vault solves: For those who work hard on their character, it’s relatively quick to obtain good gear. The problem here is then replacing missing pieces that are not yet optimal.
If all your gear is top-notch, but only your shoulders and belt have a low item level, it can drag down performance and be frustrating, especially when you do not draw better items from raids and dungeons despite grinding.
Additionally, there are the new legendary items that you will not replace with random items. Nevertheless, it is now easier to improve a bit due to the Vault compared to before.
How does it do better? The selection in the Vault often contains at least one upgrade for one of your gear slots, even if it’s just a minor one. This is a significant improvement over older systems.
In Battle for Azeroth, the item from the weekly chest was completely random, and many players complained back then that they did not receive any improvements. Despite high item levels, the items offered little better stats.
With the selection in the Vault, this problem occurs significantly less often. You would have to be quite unlucky to get the same slot for all nine options or to find no improvements at all.

An event in the MMORPG Rift is currently driving players crazy. It involves finding three kings, which some consider too religious.

The event surrounding the three kings in the MMORPG frustrates some fans.
What do the operators of Rift think about the situation? The community management team has commented on the situation, stating that the team has invested a lot of time and effort into the event.
The lead community manager Samaxa said: ‘If we were to exclude all events based on real-life, then the pool of ideas for new events would shrink dramatically.’
Furthermore, it was stated that one would have to exclude demons, religions, angels, and the like from all mythologies of the world. Also, there should be no corresponding events related to Halloween and Christmas in the game anymore.

One feature is especially the OLED display. It is 60 inches large and installed on the back of the chair and can be extended at the push of a button. The panoramic view is supposed to provide a special immersion into the gaming experience. In technical terms, this is called “Immersion”.
What is haptic feedback? The gaming chair incorporates Razer HyperSense, which provides haptic feedback. HyperSense is designed to make the chair vibrate where the sound comes from in the game. If a bomb explodes to your right, your chair should vibrate there as well.
Is this haptic technology new? No, because the HyperSense technology is already used in the Razer Nari Ultimate. GameStar describes it in their test of the Razer Nari Ultimate as a nice feature, but one that you might eventually get enough of.
