In FIFA 21, the TOTY event starts today. We show you the cards of the Team of the Year and reveal what else the event has to offer.
What is the TOTY? TOTY cards are among the most powerful and sought-after cards that Ultimate Team has to offer. The team consists of 11 players, which the community was able to vote on.
The results of the vote are now known and the Team of the Year is set.
When does the TOTY event actually start? The TOTY event started today, January 22 at 7:00 PM. Since then, the powerful cards are available in packs – however, only the strikers are available in packs at first.
The Team of the Year in Ultimate Team
This is the team: EA announced the complete Team of the Year but only revealed the ratings of the strikers, who have received incredibly strong cards. Cristiano Ronaldo and Robert Lewandowski have received top cards with 98 ratings and Mbappé follows with a very strong 97 TOTY card.
Keep in mind that only Cristiano Ronaldo (98), Robert Lewandowski (98), and Kylian Mbappé can be in packs at first. The remaining TOTY cards will likely be released soon.
This event also offers the following content: In addition to the Team of the Year, a new and very strong Moments card from Suarez (91) has been introduced. You can earn this by completing tasks.

Manufacturer EPOS has introduced two new headphones for gamers. These are not only lightweight but also compatible with several devices such as PC, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and smartphones. We present the new headphones to you.
This is what it’s about: The audio manufacturer EPOS has introduced the EPOS GTW 270 Hybrid and EPOS GTW 270, two in-ear headphones aimed primarily at gamers.
These headphones are an independently developed product by EPOS and not a collaboration, as was the case with the EPOS | Sennheiser GSP 670 or the EPOS | Sennheiser Game One/Zero.
EPOS GTW 270 Hybrid – Wireless In-Ear Headphones for Gamers with Microphone
Wireless in-ear headphones in the high-end range for gaming are still rather exotic. EPOS is venturing into the market as one of the few manufacturers with a high-priced product and offers a wide range of features for its new GTW 270.
Construction of the Headphones: The headphones are in-ear headphones. They rely on a closed design, which means you will only perceive outside noises to a limited extent. For connectivity, the headphones use Bluetooth 5.1, and the hybrid variant also comes with a dongle.
Powerful Codec for Good Sound: EPOS uses the AptX codec. This is supposed to ensure that music reaches you in full quality. Without a powerful codec, the data volume must usually be reduced during Bluetooth transmission, which negatively affects sound quality.
The sounds do not reach the listener in their full resolution anymore. AptX aims to prevent the loss of quality. The compression is particularly noticeable with high-quality sound material.
Additional Features: According to the manufacturer, the headphones should provide up to five hours of battery life after a 90-minute charge. The Razer Hammerhead offers around 10 hours of battery life, which is double.
Additionally, dual microphones are built into the in-ear devices. These are designed to provide particularly clear sound and filter out background noise.
The GTW 270 Hybrid is also waterproof according to the IPX05 standard, protecting it from sweat and light rain. Thus, they are suitable, for example, if you want to game on your smartphone or Switch while on the go.
EPOS GTW 270 Hybrid in various views
What does the Dongle bring? The hybrid version comes with a dongle. The advantage of a USB dongle is that latency over radio is usually slightly lower than over Bluetooth, and radio and Bluetooth can interact only to a limited extent.
The dongle is included in the package of the GTW 270 Hybrid.
Bluetooth, on the other hand, is much more flexible, but some devices like the PS4 do not allow a connection of Bluetooth headsets, where the dongle is then helpful. The dongle of the GTW 270 Hybrid uses USB-C, an appropriate adapter from USB-C to USB-A is also included in the box.

Technical details of the EPOS GTW 270 (Hybrid)
How much do the headphones weigh? The total package of charging station, headphones, and accessories weighs 384 grams. The headphones themselves weigh around 100 grams in total and are thus significantly lighter than other gaming headsets, which usually weigh more than 250 grams.
Price and Availability: There are two different variants of the headphones. The EPOS GTW 270 Hybrid also includes a USB-C dongle, while this is missing from the EPOS GTW 270.
The prices are 199 € for the version with dongle and 169 € for the device without dongle. The headphones are available from January 21, 2021.
In-Ear Headphones for Gamers: Do Such Things Already Exist?
On the market, there are already a few in-ear alternatives for gamers. The most well-known wireless alternative is the Razer Hammerhead True Wireless. However, it only uses Bluetooth 5.0 and does not offer a dongle. The Razer Hammerhead True Wireless also does not provide aptX; instead, it relies on its own solution with a game mode that aims to reduce latency.
Wired Alternatives: Alternatives in the wired segment would also include the Cloud Earbuds from HyperX or the Bose QuietComfort 20. The latter, for example, offers a noise-canceling technology from Bose.

Apex Legends is currently facing an unpleasant accusation. Indie developer NOWWA claims that the design of the new character Fuse has been copied from one of their designs.
What happened? The indie development studio NOWWA has approached Forbes.com with the claim that Apex Legends has copied one of their designs for the new character Fuse. Fuse is part of the upcoming 8th season of the free-to-play shooter Apex Legends, developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. Fuse is set to be released on February 2.
What kind of studio is this? NOWWA is an independent development studio working on their own hero shooter called BulletVille.
When is BulletVille supposed to be released? BulletVille is currently in open beta. There is no release date yet. The shooter is planned for PC, Mac, Xbox Series X, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Mobile (iOS and Android). You can register for the beta on the official website.
This is BulletVille: It is a third-person shooter that aims to offer a gameplay mix of Overwatch and Borderlands and focuses primarily on fast arena combat, along with a sandbox world. The game also features numerous characters. The main hero is named Hunter and has a very similar design to Fuse from Apex Legends.
Here you can see the two characters in direct comparison:
Here you can see the direct comparison. On the left is Hunter (BulletVille), on the right Fuse (Apex) Source: Forbes.com
In a statement to Nintendo Life, the developer said:
We are glad to see that the Apex Legends team liked Hunter’s style so much that they recreated it in Apex Legends – We even hope for a possible crossover! However, we fear that as a small indie game developer whose game has not yet been released, we could be called a knockoff of Apex Legends, which is certainly not true.
How should this be classified? Generally, such cases are difficult to assess. By now, there are a whole range of games that count on similar character designs. There have already been accusations from Apex against Fortnite for having copied as well. Numerous heroes are created based on certain archetypes and therefore show similarities repeatedly.
For instance, one can recognize the similarities between a cyborg angel from BulletVille and Mercy from Overwatch:
On the left you see the design from BulletVille, on the right from Overwatch.
What is behind the accusation? In this case, there is indeed a backstory. The two likely had dealings with each other last year already. A deal was in discussion for BulletVille to be released as an EA Originals.
What is EA Originals? This is a program by Electronic Arts, where indie developers receive support from the publisher in the development of their games. The responsible EA Originals team is said to have had access to the alpha version of BulletVille.
The similarity between the two characters is certainly striking. While one of Hunter’s weapons is, for example, a rocket launcher, this belongs to Fuse’s ultimate ability. Many details come into play:
Mechanical arm
Eye patch
Skull belt
Biker outfit
Gloves
Moustache
Similar color scheme
NOWWA itself emphasizes that Hunter’s design has been made public for almost two years, first in a tweet on May 7, 2019:

One of the worst cards in Hearthstone is now the centerpiece of a devastating combo. A Peasant for only 1 mana can defeat you instantly.
Throughout the history of Hearthstone, there have always been clever players who have found so-called “One-Turn-Kill Combos” (OTKs). These are card combinations that can defeat the opponent within a single turn, without giving them a chance to respond. On one hand, these OTKs are interesting; on the other hand, they can be a balance problem and make games boring.
This is how the combo works: The combo essentially requires four different cards, which are only available to the Priest. The combo is only available in “Wild” mode, where almost all cards from various expansions can be played. You need:
Pitiful Peasant
Shrink Ray
Deathrattle Summoner
Hysteria
First, you play “Pitiful Peasant” and then reduce its attack power with the Shrink Ray. Next, give the Peasant immunity with the Deathrattle Summoner to then apply Hysteria to it as the final step.
What happens next? Hysteria causes “Pitiful Peasant” to attack other minions until he is defeated. However, since he is immune, he cannot die. At the same time, the Peasant has 0 attack power, as he was debuffed by the Shrink Ray with -3 attack. This means that the Peasant’s targets can never die, as they take no damage from him.
The catch is that the Peasant deals 2 damage to the enemy hero every time he attacks. This gradually reduces the enemy hero’s health points without any chance for retaliation.
How this works is demonstrated by the streamer MarkMcKz:
The combo is capped at 30 attacks, by the way. After that, the Peasant stops attacking further targets. By that time, however, he has already dealt 60 damage, which likely led to the death of the enemy hero in most cases.
Another side effect of this combo is the extremely long animation. If the opponent does not die from the combo itself, they could completely miss their turn. Because the animations take so long, they can even extend into the opponent’s turn, thus “stealing” their playtime.
Is Blizzard doing anything about it? Not yet. However, it can be expected that at least one of the cards will be adjusted soon, as this combo is currently flooding the wild game mode. A possible solution would be to change “Pitiful Peasant” so that he only deals damage to the enemy hero if his attack actually deals damage. This would nip this combo in the bud without overly restricting the functionality of the affected cards.
Pitiful Peasant rather unpopular: “Pitiful Peasant” comes from the “Knights of the Frozen Throne” expansion and was rather unpopular there. Aside from some Rush decks, the card saw little use, as it is too easy to kill and often cannot even make a single attack. Now the Peasant is making a comeback in Wild mode and is already generating many memes in the Hearthstone subreddit.
What do you think about this new combo? Cool that something like this is possible? Or should such combos be removed immediately?
On January 21, the final round of a large “Twitch Rivals” tournament took place for Call of Duty: Warzone. However, one participating team was kicked from the competition – one of them was allegedly a cheater.
What is Twitch Rivals? The format of the streaming platform Twitch brings together well-known streamers to compete against each other in often highly rewarded tournaments. Currently, Twitch is hosting larger tournaments for the games:
On the night of January 21 to 22, the final round of a major Warzone tournament – the “Twitch Rivals: Doritos Bowl ft. CoD Warzone” – took place. In total, there was a prize pool of $250,000 (approximately €205,000). Popular Warzone streamers like “Tfue”, “Swagg”, and “Aydan” were involved. But also Warzone players known for their outstanding performances, like “its_iron”, “JoeWo”, or “SuperEvan”, competed for the victory.
However, the event was overshadowed by a cheating incident. Shortly before the end of the final round, the organizers decided to kick a team from the tournament.
Twitch Rivals takes suspicion seriously and kicks team out
What was happening? Over two game days, a large Warzone tournament took place as part of “Twitch Rivals” with thousands of dollars in prize money. 24 teams were able to secure one of the coveted spots in a qualifying round on Day 1. In addition, 25 teams with well-known streamers were added, who only participated in the final round on the second day.
For the competition, 49 teams each with 3 players faced off in private Warzone lobbies. In total, 5 Battle Royales were played, and points were awarded based on placement.
During the competition, suspicions began to rise against the streamer “METZY_B”. Viewers and streamers sent the organizers videos & clips with suspicious gameplay from the player. One of these clips from the tournament, which is particularly striking, is embedded here:

“METZY_B” is only seen in the killcam here. However, even before the cam, the victim “Liteshott” suspects that a hacker is at work. The killcam can sometimes be quite inaccurate, but his previous suspicion is further strengthened by the kill replay. Because the attacker’s crosshair moves in an abnormal manner towards the eliminated “Liteshott”. Such movements, which almost directly align the crosshair on the opponent, are typical for cheat programs that interfere with the control of cheaters.
A match before the end sees alleged cheater team kicked
What happened next? After 4 of the 5 final matches were played, the organizers took about half an hour to analyze the clips and suspicions regarding the alleged cheater “METZY_B”. In the end, they concluded that based on the data available to them, they removed the streamer and his team from the tournament:

“During the final games of the “Twitch Rivals: Doritos Bowl ft. Call of Duty Warzone”, Metzy_B was classified as a cheater. Therefore, his team was removed from the event. We take the behavior of ‘Twitch Rivals’ players very seriously. We will continue to investigate all allegations of cheating.”
Thus, according to the tournament management of “Twitch Rivals”, cheaters have officially arrived in the big Esports tournaments of Warzone. The team was excluded from all prize money.
It is currently unclear whether the action will have further consequences for the alleged cheater. Twitch has previously banned the channels of proven cheaters, and if a player is kicked from a tournament under the banner of the video platform for cheating, it could also affect their channel. At the time of this article, however, his channel is still accessible.
How is the Warzone esports scene doing? The trust of viewers and fans in the processes among the best players of the battle royale has significantly suffered in recent weeks. Before there were private lobbies in Warzone, tournaments were held in public lobbies.
Here, placements were counted, but the number of kills also factored into the evaluations. Through manipulations of matchmaking, players who delved deeper into the game could find easy lobbies and gain an advantage.
Even this has disturbed trust in the processes of Warzone esports. Now, it seems that engine-cheaters are also roaming in competitions, and the image of the competitive Warzone scene is likely to suffer further. One of the most well-known players of the battle royale, “Nickmercs”, is currently completely staying out of tournaments (via Dexerto – in English). He thinks that too many professional and semi-professional players are cheating in tournaments.
Criticism also continues regarding kill records. Just recently, a professional player accused a record holder of having cheated in a tournament. Due to such charges and the suspicious behavior of the accused, trust in Warzone esports is dwindling. For many players, there is only one solution: the introduction of a real anti-cheat system in Warzone.

The online action game GTA 5 Online is especially known for its open world and player freedom. However, there is another side of GTA that many players do not come into contact with. In this interview, MeinMMO tells you more about role-playing in GTA.
GTA Online is a multiplayer game that has been running for many years and continues to be very popular. As part of “Find Your Next Game: Winter Edition,” MeinMMO presents you with a different side of GTA Online: role-playing (or RP for short).
Community manager Irina Moritz from MeinMMO sat down with GTA player Lucas, who leads the community management on a German role-playing server, and peppered him with questions about his experience in GTA RP.
Here is what he had to tell us.
In role-playing games, players take on roles of various fictional characters, which they usually invent themselves. Players use the respective game they are in (such as GTA V) as a backdrop to tell their own stories or interact with other role-players. Such interactions always occur from the perspective of the character being played.
GTA as a first role-playing experience
MeinMMO: Please introduce yourself to our readers.
Lucas: My name is Lucas. I come from Brandenburg and am a community manager and faction manager on the 5M RP server Grand RP.
MeinMMO:Role-playing in GTA has exploded on Twitch in the past two years. Did that draw your attention? Or how did you get into role-playing in GTA?
Lucas: It was simply through friends who contacted me and asked if I wanted to come to the server. I had to download this and that for that.
Eventually, I just did it and even found connections relatively quickly. Recently, I looked for a new server because I wanted to play again. That’s how I came to my current server. I am now also pretty good friends with the team members.
MeinMMO: Had you done RP in other games before?
Lucas: No, GTA was the very first.
Many players make their first role-playing experience in MMORPGs like WoW or ESO
MeinMMO:What made you specifically want to try it in GTA for the first time?
Lucas: I first heard about it. I didn’t really notice it in other games where you can do it. And above all, GTA is basically the open-world game; you have nearly unlimited options in GTA. That’s the case in relatively few games.
I run the hospital and the emergency service on our server. That is exactly my area of expertise. I also know that from real life; I work in that field.
MeinMMO: What aspects do you like the most about RP in GTA?
Lucas: The freedom. You can choose from various scripts and vehicles. You can build it to your liking. I really like that in GTA; you are not restricted at all. If you want to change a car, you can change it yourself. That’s the main reason I am in GTA and want to stay here.
But if they cannot help him anymore, he will also be transported to the hospital. After a certain time, you can respawn again. Whether you want to keep your identity after respawn is up to the player. Usually, it is the case that the player simply appears again after some time.
If you find GTA 5 Online cool, you might also like these games:
Gaming fun and a cool community – what more could you want?
MeinMMO:Why do you think it is worth trying role-playing in GTA as a newcomer?
Lucas: I think it is especially for younger people, even if we still have many people over 30. They tell us they want to relax a bit after school or training and do what they feel like doing.
If I feel like playing a police officer, then I can do that. If I say I feel like being a firefighter, then I can be that.
That’s the incentive for most people, and also for me. It’s not just about playing on the server, but also about the whole community. That’s actually the case on every RP server.
You build your community; people get along with each other, and then they also play other games together. It doesn’t help if team members and players just quarrel. Then no one enjoys it, but it usually works really well.
MeinMMO:Can you give our readers 3 tips on how to best get into role-playing in GTA?
Lucas:
Start slowly. Try not to immediately buy the most expensive car. It’s somewhat like real life. Try to get the job you want as quickly as possible and then work your way up there. Don’t focus too much on the money.
It’s important to keep the fun in mind. RP situations can escalate quickly. Then it continues after the RP sometimes. However, the RP character is one person, and you are another person outside of RP. So don’t start fights in RP and take them out of RP. That’s very important; it’s the number one problem for most people.
Find a partner with whom you can accomplish a lot. But make sure you also get along well with everyone else. Don’t say, “Okay, I’m only going to hang out with this one person and want to have as little to do with everyone else as possible.” RP situations arise when players meet. If you run past each other all day, you lose motivation. I can say that from my own experience.
GTA RP is not very well known. Many watch it with streamers but do not know how or where to even play. I would be very happy if a few find their way to us.
MeinMMO thanks Lucas for the interview.
Here is how you can get involved: If you are now interested and want to try role-playing in GTA, you can contact the Discord server of Grand RP. The people there will surely help you out.
What do you think of our conversation? Did the interview pique your interest in role-playing in GTA 5 Online? Or do you have questions about specific RP topics? Then feel free to post them in the comments below the article.
You can also participate in such an interview. Do you have a cool idea or have you experienced something special? Then write us an email or contact us via Discord. We love talking to our community!
In RP, I really enjoy the role of the medic, and the contact with other people or factions is great. The people who also play on the server or the network are all really nice.
MeinMMO: Can you give me an overview of how a typical GTA-RP server works? Imagine I am someone who has never dealt with role-playing before. How would you explain it to me?
Lucas: There are various platforms through which you can join such a server. In our case, it’s 5M. You have to download and install it normally.
After you install it, you join the Discord server. We maintain a whitelist, meaning that we have a brief conversation with the new member. They will be asked their age; our minimum age is 16. Once you are on this whitelist, you can join the GTA server.
When you join the server, you actually have all options open. The player can, for example, go to the employment office and take a job there. There are jobs with the utilities or with the post office. These are basically “mini jobs” to earn some initial cash.
If you want to keep playing on the server, you usually think: “What do I want to do now?” There are standard factions:
The Mechanics
The Los Santos Medical Center
The Los Santos Police Department
These are the state factions. But there are also mobs or gangs like the Cosa Nostra or the Vagos. And these factions are all run by players, as I lead the Los Santos Medical Center, for example.
You can choose a faction, then you write an application via Google Docs or have a personal conversation with the faction leader. If everything fits, you can join the faction.
But if you say you want to do something on your own, that’s also fine. You can then send a concept to the faction manager or leader. The team looks at it, discusses it, and if it fits and is technically feasible, everything will be implemented on the server. A job will be written in the database so that you can create your own faction.
This is basically how GTA-RP starts.
In GTA role-play, you can ensure order as a law-abiding police officer or create chaos as a gang member.
MeinMMO:I have heard from community stories that on some GTA role-playing servers, you often have to submit applications or come up with a character concept with a backstory beforehand. How does it work with you?
Lucas: Yes, it is the same with us. We are a beginner-friendly server; we reach out to newcomers and try to motivate them. Accordingly, we do not make it too complicated.
You do not necessarily need to have a big backstory, but as soon as you come to the server, you can create a character and fill out your ID with
Name
Date of Birth
Height
Weight, and so forth
If you want, you can come up with a backstory; that’s of course the ideal case. But many beginners don’t immediately have an idea, and that’s not a big deal with us. It develops over time.
Crime is part of GTA, even in role-play
MeinMMO: In GTA, much revolves around crime. How is that handled among players? If I say, for example: OK, I am actually employed by the post office. But I decided to start stealing cars and selling them somewhere.
Lucas: That’s completely possible too. The only thing that is not allowed is for police officers and EMTs to become criminals themselves. As long as they work in the state faction, they are untouchable, and corruption is not allowed at least on our server.
Otherwise, it’s absolutely possible through mini jobs. You can get a weapon, that goes through a psychological assessment. I have a psychologist in the Medical Center who takes care of that. If you pass the psychological assessment, you can go to the police and get a weapon permit through another aptitude test. After that, you can buy a handgun at the gun shop.
You can steal cars
Rob stores
Rob other players
Kidnap other players
Take hostages
Basically, everything is possible.
MeinMMO:Can you describe a typical role-playing situation in GTA? Is there something particularly cool that stands out in your memory?
Lucas: Yes, over time there are always more criminal factions like mobs or gangs. There are often small wars between them. It may well happen that a shootout breaks out right in the city because green and blue cars want to fight.
Of course, that’s quite a scene. Then the whole police and medics are there. The entire action that was previously scattered across the whole game world is then concentrated in one spot.
MeinMMO:Sounds exciting, but how are character deaths handled? In such a shootout, you can quickly bite the dust.
Lucas: Character deaths are usually in the hands of the medics. There are different types: regular paramedics, doctors, and so on. They then decide relatively spontaneously based on the visible injury patterns and what they have learned in their training whether they can still help the player or not.
If they can still help him, he will be given first aid and then taken to the hospital. There, he is also treated with truly functioning medical devices and later discharged. There is also a health insurance for that, etc.
But if they cannot help him anymore, he will also be transported to the hospital. After a certain time, you can respawn again. Whether you want to keep your identity after respawn is up to the player. Usually, it is the case that the player simply appears again after some time.

Rarity: 5 Stars
Element: Anemo
Weapon: Polearm
Constellation: Alatus Nemeseos
Xiao is a mysterious young man whom you meet throughout the story. He stands out with his calm and always polite demeanor and prefers to think carefully about his actions.
Rumors say that Xiao is already thousands of years old, although he looks very young. Also, one should not be deceived by his reserved nature, as he is said to be a powerful fighter.
The backstory of Xiao is told in his character quest, similar to what happened with Albedo’s event. You can watch a trailer specifically about Xiao’s abilities here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rl3-Tlzcl0k
Which character is coming next? A few weeks later on February 17th, Xiao will be replaced by the character Keqing. She is already playable.
Rarity: 5 Stars
Element: Electro
Weapon: Sword
Constellation: Trulla Cementarii
Check our tier list to see how good Keqing is compared to other characters:
These events will be there: For Update 1.3, one large and 4 mini-events have been announced. They will probably, as usual, not appear simultaneously but will replace each other.
This is the eventLantern Rite: In this event, you will raise lanterns in Liyue together with Xiao and grab rewards. The event will be divided into several sections.
There will be a mini-game associated with the event, where you can position various elemental “towers” to prevent monsters from reaching their target.
It looks like a classic “tower defense mini-game” where multiple waves of enemies move along predetermined paths that you have to stop.
This is what the mini-game looks like.
Other events that you can expect in Update 1.3 include:
Stand by Me: In this event, you can choose one of the 4-star characters Chongyun, Beidou, Ningguang, Xiangling, Xingqui, or Xinyan
Five Flushes of Fortune: This will be an event centered around Genshin Impact’s photo mode.
Vishaps and Where to Find Them: You will need to gather information about the dangerous monsters called Geo Vishaps and fight them
Ley Line Overflow: A boost for the amount of EXP items that you receive from the flourishing of the elements.
The rewards from the events include Intertwined Fates and Original Resin.
By the way, there are now new codes that give you Original Resin and other bonuses. You can find them here:
In Genshin Impact there are 3 new promo codes. They will again provide you for free with Original Resin, the premium currency of the RPG, as well as other rewards. We at MeinMMO will reveal what the codes are and how you can redeem them.
What are these codes?
dU2mhjQL1ZT – 100 Original Resin, 5x Hero’s Wisdom
nBEm3myAL2b – 100 Original Resin, 50,000 Mora
jsSK8n23jzR – 100 Original Resin, 10x Mystic Enhancement Ore
The three codes come from the developer stream for the upcoming Patch 1.3. They can currently be redeemed, as of January 22, 2021. The codes can only be used once per account and will expire over time. These two old codes may still work.
How do you redeem the code? To be able to redeem the code, you must have reached Adventure Level 10 in the game. They cannot be used before. Redeeming is very simple:
This is how to redeem the promo code on the website.
Alternatively, you can also redeem the code in-game now. Additionally, you can since Patch 1.1 for Genshin Impact use codes on PS4 as well. This only works in-game there.
Go to the settings in the game (the gear icon) and you will find the “Account” button just before the last position. There you can redeem the gift code.
This is how to redeem the promo code in-game.
You can use the rewards for
What is Original Resin? Original Resin is one of the most important currencies in the game. You can use it to either utilize the Gacha system with the prayers and hope for new characters or to purchase “Original Resin”.
You can get Original Resin most quickly and easily through real money. Besides using real money, you can also farm Original Resin in-game, for example, through daily missions, quests, or treasure chests.
What do the other rewards bring?
Hero’s Wisdom provides your characters with experience points. Each use grants you 20,000 XP.
Mystic Enhancement Ore gives you 10,000 experience points for your weapon.
Mora is the in-game currency used for various items in the game.
Genshin Impact is now almost 3 months old. MeinMMO editor Irina Moritz has taken a closer look at the development:
Mythic Keystone Dungeons (“Mythic+”) are among the toughest PvE challenges in World of Warcraft. Each week, the way you should approach the dungeons changes. MeinMMO provides tips for the affixes this week, Tyrannical and Volcanic, and shows you which dungeons are best to tackle.
How do Mythic+ Dungeons work? A Mythic Keystone dungeon is a tougher version of the regular Mythic dungeons. You need a named Keystone to participate, which you obtain by completing a Mythic dungeon or by opening the Great Vault.
Keystones start at +2 and scale infinitely. You have a time limit to meet and a certain number of enemies to defeat for the dungeon to be considered conquered. If you complete it within the time limit, you can upgrade the Keystone by up to three levels.
Each level increases the strength of the enemies in the dungeon. At certain levels, there are also better loot opportunities and so-called “affixes” that make the dungeons even harder.
How long does the Affix Week last? The Affix Week starts on Wednesday, January 20th. The week goes until Wednesday, January 27th.
Which affixes are active this week? A keystone can have up to four affixes that apply to the entire dungeon. The following affixes are active:
Fortified (Level 2+) – Normal enemies have an additional +20% health and +30% damage
Tyrannical (Level 4+) – Defeated enemies leave behind a spirit that chases and attacks players
Volcanic (Level 7+) – In combat, enemies create volcanoes beneath faraway players that erupt after a short time, dealing 20% of their maximum health as damage and launching them into the air
Pride (Level 10+) – Once you defeat 20% of the enemy forces, a manifestation of Pride appears that you must defeat
In the Dungeon Browser (key I), you will find an overview of the affixes for the week.
Each of these affixes can surprise players if they are not used to them or are not well-acquainted. We provide tips on how to play each one correctly and which dungeons are easier for you this week.
The best dungeons this week
Here are the easy ones: The two easiest dungeons this week are the Mists of Tirna Scithe and the Theater of Pain. These are relatively easy to play every week, as they do not present overly complicated mechanics.
You have plenty of space in both dungeons to manage the affixes without aggroing other enemies. The bosses are also quite manageable. Only in the Mists do you need to pay attention to properly solving the mist puzzle.
Also fairly easy this week are Plaguefall and the Theater of Pain.
These dungeons are harder: With the affixes this week, the Sanguine Depths and The Other Side are slightly more challenging. Here, there are already strong “normal” enemies that become even tougher with Fortified.
The Necrotic Wake is even tougher since some groups here are more powerful than those in the Sanguine Depths or The Other Side. Enemies with the ability “necrotic bolt” and the skeletal marauders can quickly wipe an inattentive group.
The most difficult this week are the Theater of Pain. The bosses in the dungeon are considered the toughest in the game and are exhausting even without Tyrannical. The groups are also more challenging with Fortified, and there is little room to avoid Tyrannical and Volcanic.
Fortified and Pride – What you need to watch out for
What are these affixes? These two are a bit different. Fortified rotates weekly with Tyrannical. These two affixes either strengthen normal enemies or bosses.
Pride, on the other hand, is the seasonal affix. This affix will be active from level 10 for the entire first season of Shadowlands.
How to best handle these affixes: Fortified and Tyrannical do not have any special mechanics. You just need to ensure that you do not pull too many large groups with Fortified on higher levels. Use your cooldowns even for “trash mobs”.
With Pride, on the other hand, you need to manage it properly. Defeating the manifestation grants you a damage buff for one minute, which you should use on particularly tough enemies.
Try to reach the 20% mark before a tough fight and then defeat the manifestation before you engage in the next fight. Be aware that the manifestation does not appear in the middle of a fight. Addons like Mythic Dungeon Tools show you how much percent a foe is worth and even allow you to plan routes.
Mythic Dungeon Tools allows you to plan routes. Source: curse.
Tyrannical and Volcanic – What you need to watch out for
How to best handle these affixes: Tyrannical and Volcanic are the two special affixes for this week. Both are not necessarily difficult to manage, making them good for learning for new players.
With Tyrannical, ghosts appear, losing 8% of their health every second. They are fully controllable, so you can generally just freeze, push away, or stun them and then ignore them.
Killing them actively wastes time unnecessarily, but it’s also an option. Just make sure they do not reach you, as their attacks deal significant damage.
Volcanic is somewhat easier. The volcanoes beneath your feet glow brightly, and you have two seconds to avoid them. The only important thing is that you can see your character.
Your interface should not be too cluttered. As soon as a volcano appears beneath you, take two steps to the side.
The volcanoes are quite easy to see. Source: wowhead.
Which classes have it easier? Melee classes are generally not affected by volcanoes, allowing them to focus on less. However, they need to pay more attention to the ghosts than ranged classes.
It is best to communicate with the tank, so they can reposition groups when ghosts are chasing you. However, tanks generally prefer strategies where they pull enemies in circles. Classes that have particular ease include:
Death Knights: can greatly slow or stun ghosts
Outlaw Rogues: have a longer melee range
Ranged classes that can continue attacking while moving
Which classes have it harder? Generally, ranged classes have it a bit tougher this week, but not by much. The affixes are balanced; only the volcanoes can interrupt some spells.
The hardest hit are probably healers since they must decide whether to heal their tank during a volcano or avoid it. Classes that have it tough are:
generally healers without instant spells or heals over time (“HoTs”)
spell-casting classes with long spells like Destruction Warlocks
Despite adversities such as the Corona pandemic, the guild Limit has won the World First race in WoW . However, they missed their daily secret weapon.
The race for the World First kill of Sire Denathrius in Castle Nathria, the only raid in WoW: Shadowlands so far, was some time ago. However, the victory of Complexity Limit (with accompanying nerd screams) is still being discussed and talked about. After all, there were many concerns and criticism directed at Blizzard for opening the raid just before Christmas. The covenant system was also in the crossfire of the community. Concerns that have dissipated over the first weeks.
Complexity-Limit was able to put in a good performance in the “World First” race and defend the title – with a kill just before Christmas, on December 23rd. The magazine PCGamesN conducted an interview with guild officer Xyronic, who had some interesting things to say.
Secret weapon missing – the shared food break
Castle Nathria was also the first raid to take place under the harder issues of the Corona pandemic. One might think that it shouldn’t actually have much impact on a raid group in WoW, but that was not the case. Normally, raid players are together in one place, which brings an additional planning advantage. Xyronic said:
The biggest downside was the strategy aspect. When everyone is at home and there is a food break, everyone gets up from the PC and does their own thing. But when we are together, we talk all the time during breaks. That’s basically 45 minutes of additional strategy discussion. When we then sit back down at the computer, we all have a clearer idea of what exactly we planned and wanted to do. Losing that was unfortunate.
The covenants were less decisive than players had feared.
Covenant differences smaller than feared
A major criticism of Blizzard prior to the release was also the differences between the various covenants. Professionals feared that they would essentially have to play every class four times to have a representative for the Kyrians, Necrolords, Night Fae, and Venthyr. Especially during the beta, many players assumed that Blizzard would not manage the balancing. But apparently the differences turned out to be smaller than expected. When asked if players had to change their covenant during progression, Xyronic explained:
Fortunately not. Much of our criticism simply died when they decided to tone down the overpowering abilities. Even if you chose a covenant that wasn’t the best, it was probably a difference of less than 1% for most classes.
While there were a few who changed their abilities independently, that would have been more of a personal preference and not mandated.
More news about WoW: Shadowlands can be found here:
Castle Nathria was damn good – only one boss was not
Generally, many raiders were surprised by how good the raid Castle Nathria was. The balancing of most bosses was – even though there were some nerfs in the first days – quite good. Especially the fight against Shriekwing was almost perfectly tuned and just allowed for a kill before the raid group was taken down by the boss itself. However, the good mood shifted with the generals of the Stone Legion:
After we killed the eighth boss, Shriekwing, everyone was extremely impressed by how well Blizzard had done the tuning for the bosses. (…) Everyone was really satisfied, but when we moved on to the next boss, the generals of the Stone Legion, that disappeared.
Everything was manageable, but it was a very painful experience. The fight was completely random. We didn’t know in what order the mechanics would come, making it very hard to prepare. I would say half of our progress went into mechanics coming in an order we had never seen before.
The bosses were well received by the raiders – only one was completely out of line.
But Xyronic is not only satisfied with Castle Nathria, but with the entire Shadowlands expansion.
I believe this is a fairly common view among all those who are currently playing. Many of us were really concerned about some of the design decisions they made, especially in the Shadowlands beta. But Blizzard did a damn good job of bringing everything together and making this expansion fun. I’m having a lot of fun, even outside of the raid.
Do your opinions and experiences align with those of the professionals from Complexity Limit? Or do you perceive Shadowlands differently?
In the Item Shop of Fortnite: Battle Royale, 2 new Hunters have now appeared. Among them is the Terminator as T-800, but players are now asking: “Where’s the variant of Arnold Schwarzenegger?”
What kind of skin is this? Since Friday, January 22nd, 2 new Hunter skins have been available in the Item Shop: T-800 and Sarah Connor. There is also a trailer showing Agent Jonesy bringing the robot from Terminator to the Season 5 map in Fortnite:

The skins are available either individually or as a complete package for 2,800 V-Bucks. Sarah Connor comes with 2 style variants, but the robot does not. The package also includes additional cosmetics related to the characters.
This is not the first time that hunters from other universes have been brought into the Fortnite world by Agent Jonesy:
What does this mean? Although T-800 is part of the science fiction film Terminator, some likely think first of actor Arnold Schwarzenegger as the main character and Terminator. Therefore, some players seem surprised why there is no “Arnie” variant for the skin.
Under the trailer post on Twitter and reddit, they are asking why there is no style variant for it. They likely would have liked to have one to use in-game.
Some fans probably first think of Arnold Schwarzenegger when they hear Terminator. Image source: moviepilot.de
“No money for Arnie?”
What do players say about the missing style variant? Some players seem sad that Arnold was not included as a variant for T-800, while others think they know why Epic couldn’t include the “Terminator.” They say on Twitter and reddit:
“We want Arnold Schwarzenegger in Fortnite!”
“Where’s Arnold? The black jacket and black sunglasses! That’s pretty disappointing.”
“It’s a shame there is no style variant of Arnold Schwarzenegger.”
“Maybe it was too expensive for Epic to have his face (Arnold’s) in the game.”
“An Arnie variant would have been cool, but I guess Epic couldn’t get the rights for it.”
“I guess getting Arnold in the game would be totally over their [Epic’s] budget.”
Some fans probably believe that Epic couldn’t afford to bring in the Arnie Terminator or that they did not obtain the rights for it. However, these are just player speculations and may not actually be the case.
Players speculated Lara Croft from Tomb Raider as the next hunter – Will she not appear now?
Data miners found leaks pointing to the next hunter in Fortnite. However, the leaks and hints rather pointed to another character from the game Tomb Raider. But now it could be that the leaks were referring to the T-800. Will Lara Croft not appear now or at a later time? We will likely have to wait and see.

The RPG ShooterOutriders aims to impress players with cooperative gameplay and loot. MeinMMO presents 9 important things you might not know about the game.
What is Outriders, anyway? Outriders is an upcoming new RPG shooter set in a sci-fi environment developed by People Can Fly. The gameplay shown so far resembles a mix of Diablo and Anthem. Players can slay monsters and collect loot either solo or in co-op with friends.
Gameplay takes place in closed rounds; there is no open world. The focus is on PvE. Players can choose from four classes, which are:
Skills, classes, and equipment are designed to offer many different combinations, allowing you to slash through the campaign and endgame content.
The Technomancer is the supporter in Outriders.
What we know about the release: After a delay, Outriders is set to launch on April 1, 2021, for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, PS4, PS5, and Google Stadia. A demo is expected to be released on February 25.
What’s included in the demo? The demo includes the first hours of the story where you can try out the game, both solo and with friends. All four classes will be playable. Progress should even carry over to the full game.
However, aside from the demo, there are some other noteworthy things about the game that not every interested player might be aware of. To give you a better idea of Outriders, we have summarized them here for you:
1. Outriders is not a live service game
What does that mean? At first glance, Outriders resembles well-known live service games like Destiny, The Division, or Anthem, which also revolve around collecting gear and focusing on shooter elements.
However, Outriders aims to be released as a “finished” game and wants to offer the full scope at launch. According to the developers, there will be a campaign with up to 40 hours of gameplay waiting for you, plus endgame content on top.
What we know about the endgame: After the campaign, players will undertake what are called Expeditions. These resemble the Greater Rifts from Diablo 3 in many ways. In various difficulty levels (up to 15 “World Tiers”) you must battle through missions as quickly as possible to obtain better gear.
Whether there will be additional endgame content beyond this is still unknown.
Will there be DLCs in the future? Currently, there are no known plans for this.
Expeditions are supposed to challenge players in the endgame with high difficulty levels.
2. Outriders has no microtransactions
Here’s the situation regarding purchasable content: Since Outriders is not a live service game, there will also be no microtransactions in the form of an in-game shop or purchasable cosmetic content. This has been confirmed by developer People Can Fly in a Q&A video (via Gamespot.com)
Also, season passes and other similar features are not expected to be included in the game.
3. Outriders offers no PvP
While The Division and Destiny offer extensive PvP modes, Outriders focuses solely on PvE. You cannot compete against other players or measure yourself against them in combat.
The focus is on the story, cooperative gameplay, and loot collection, as seen in Diablo or Anthem.
4. Outriders lets you craft
This is how the crafting system works: In Outriders, even outdated equipment has a use. For example, if you have an old shotgun with a modification, you can disassemble the weapon and place the modification on another weapon. This way, the effect can continue to be used.
Keep in mind that you can only obtain mods from weapons of a certain rarity (blue) by disassembling them. The same applies to armor pieces.
You can disassemble all inventory items and utilize the resources.
With this system, you can constantly adapt and change your gear, provided that you collect the necessary resources in the game world.
These resources can also be used to upgrade the loot you find. In theory, you can upgrade a standard weapon to the epic tier.
5. Modifications influence your playstyle
Modifications have a significant impact on how you create your builds in Outriders. While weapon mods primarily change active combat (damage type, ammunition type), armor modifications (skill mods) have a more passive influence on your build.
This is how weapon mods work: Modifications for weapons can provide a wide variety of bonuses. For example, you might find a light machine gun whose ammo explodes when you kill an enemy. There are many different variants that can also enable electricity damage or even influence gravity.
Overall, there are three “mod tiers,” meaning levels for modifications.
Tier 1 is obtained from rare (blue) weapons,
Tier 2 from epic (purple) weapons
and Tier 3 can only be found on legendary (gold) equipment.
The higher the mod tier, the stronger the bonuses and attributes.
This is how skill mods work: These armor modifications are obtained the same way as weapon mods, by disassembling loot starting from the rare tier. These are also divided into 3 tiers. However, the effects are more geared toward passive bonuses and talents. This way, you can sometimes obtain bonuses from other classes that you are not even playing at the time.
The video by LaserBolt shows in detail how it all works:

Here’s how it’s known from similar games: Anyone who has played The Division or Destiny will be familiar with exotic equipment. These are typically the strongest gear pieces you can find. In addition, “Exotics” usually have very specific attributes and a unique appearance.
In the mentioned games, you can wear only one exotic armor piece and one exotic weapon to prevent players from becoming too strong.
Here’s how it is in Outriders: A developer from People Can Fly has (via reddit) confirmed that Outriders also offers such equipment. Here, however, it is called “Legendary Loot”, meaning legendary equipment. This provides unique attributes and visually distinguishes itself from other gear. However, you can equip this legendary gear in any available equipment slot.
There are no limitations for players, and you can freely combine the strongest weapons and armors.
This legendary LMG is called Grim Marrow.
7. You can reset your skills and talents anytime
What does that mean? Each character class has a talent tree with active and passive skills, as is common in many other RPGs. In Outriders, you can reset and reselect your chosen talents at any time, even while on missions or even in the middle of a fight.
This allows you to try out new variants and interesting combinations if you find yourself stuck at a certain point.
If you’re worried about the support of the PC version, you can relax. On January 14, developer People Can Fly released a video about the PC features. It emphasizes that they place great importance on this version.
Some examples of the PC features:
A customizable UI (User Interface)
Ultra-wide screen support
Customizable field of view (FOV)
Dynamic resolution scaling
NVIDIA DLSS support
NVIDIA Ansel support
Razer Chroma-RGB support
You can watch the details in the video:

If you are a fan of shooters, you might also find this interesting:
9. Crossplay makes platform choice irrelevant
What does crossplay mean? Crossplay allows for online play across different platforms.
On which platforms can you play Outriders together? Crossplay is available between all platforms where Outriders is released. These include PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, PS4, PS5, and Google Stadia. There will also be crossplay between the Steam version and the Epic Games Store version on PC.
What about cross-save? The crossplay feature unfortunately does not mean that you can transfer your save game to any platform. As of now, there will be no cross-save feature. This means: If you start on PlayStation 5, you cannot simply continue on PC with the same save game.
Did you already know all these things about Outriders? What do you think of the game so far? Will you take a look at the demo or are you perhaps already determined to get it right at release?
In Destiny 2, you can make your hard-earned titles even rarer starting from Season 13 and show everyone who the hardcore Guardian is. The new system strongly resembles the popular Prestige from Call of Duty.
Here’s how to show off soon: In Destiny 2, you should be able to gild your hard-earned titles starting from Season 13. Then you can “gild” the title (translated roughly means to enhance or beautify) and virtually earn it again. Why all this? Well, to show off and impress other Guardians.
MeinMMO explains the new system and clarifies why Bungie seems to have borrowed this idea from Call of Duty. Here we briefly present the possibilities for showing off in both shooters:
How titles work in Destiny 2: Titles appear visible next to the player’s name and indicate that this Guardian has mastered an activity. Such name additions are associated with a lot of grind and hard challenges. Only about 1% of all Guardians wear some rare titles (via Warmind.io). There are titles for raids, in PvP, or for the current season. Accordingly, Guardians walk around proudly with them.
What’s the deal with Prestige in CoD? Particularly dedicated soldiers enter Prestige after reaching max level in the shooter series. They reset their rank and start all over again. With each subsequent reset, they enter a higher Prestige tier, which is then showcased with impressive emblems. In Cold War this occurs seasonally and can go up to 25 times.
Our Warlock has become a Smith
In Destiny 2, it is very satisfying to check off all required Triumphs for a title and then finally equip your rare title. To take it a step further, the new gilded title system will come into play starting from February 9, 2021 (the beginning of Season 13).
Gilded titles are meant to create more incentives for hardcore Guardians
Once you have earned a title, you unlock additional, extra difficult challenges associated with that title. If you also fulfill those, the title becomes gilded.
Then the color of the title above your head changes
A new symbol shows everyone that you don’t stop at the normal title
You adorn the title seal with a golden frame
A counter shows how many times you have gilded a title
You can gild a title once per season (the tasks vary depending on seasonal events)
At the end of a season, the title is then reset.
If another player sees such a gilded title, it’s immediately clear that you are a dedicated hardcore Guardian who plays Destiny 2 anything but casually. For a casual gamer, a normal title might already be a significant hurdle (whether such a Guardian knows the difference between a title and a gilded title is another question).
These are the titles that start in Season 13:
Conqueror (Nightfall: Fire Trial)
Unbroken (Crucible)
Dredgen (Gambit)
Flawless (Trials of Osiris)
Bungie previews the Flawless title in its gilded version
Once you have earned the Conqueror title, you show everyone that you have survived even the toughest fire trials. Wearing the Flawless title proudly, everyone knows that it’s better not to cross paths with you in the Trials.
These titles are associated with a lot of work. However, once obtained, many Guardians lack incentives to spend more time in the activities (aside from the loot). Or they wish for their time to be recognized further. With the gilded system, Guardians should have a goal to strive for even after obtaining the original title and be rewarded each season with a “better” title in their favorite activity.
Especially for Gambit fans, this could elevate the otherwise seen as uncool Dredgen title.
Bungie concludes its preview of the new title system by stating that this is the result of “constructive feedback from players of all kinds from the Destiny community.” They then ask for your opinions on it.

Getting XL candies is one of the most important tasks after reaching Level 40 in Pokémon GO. Why feeding berries isn’t necessarily suitable for this is demonstrated by a trainer.
Since the big Beyond update in Pokémon GO, you can earn XL candies after reaching Level 40 with your trainer. The candies are available through various in-game actions such as catching Pokémon, raids, or feeding Pokémon that defend gyms.
A trainer now shows how low the chance is to receive XL candies from feeding gym Pokémon.
10,000 berries and only 5 XL candies?
This is how low the chance is: On reddit, trainer Sluft_ shows his “yield” of XL candies. He states, “I fed 10,000 berries and received a total of 5 XL candies.”
This corresponds to a chance of 0.05% to receive an XL candy by feeding a gym defender. So, about one candy for every 2,000 feedings.
He explains that he fed Level 40 Pokémon, but also smaller ones with lower levels. He fed many of them from a distance and not directly near the gym.

So, anyone hoping to receive XL candies by feeding Pokémon that defend gyms should keep their expectations low. One needs quite a bit of luck to obtain this type of candy.
What do you think about this? Do you feel there should be more XL candies for feeding gym defenders, or is it just a small bonus that you simply shouldn’t rely on? Let us know your opinion here in the comments at MeinMMO.
The survival game Rust is one of the most successful MMOs on Steam. Currently, it is also a constant favorite on Twitch. But what hardware do you need to play this survival hit? MeinMMO gives you tips on the best hardware and the Rust graphics settings.
What is it about? Rust is currently extremely popular and is among the most played games on Steam in December 2020. Many are wondering what hardware they need to play the game smoothly. MeinMMO explains in this article what you need to know about hardware and performance in Rust. This includes:
the system requirements for Rust.
what you need for the absolute minimum and which graphics cards are recommended.
Additionally, we will explain how to optimally set your game for PvP.
[toc]
When will Rust come out for PS4 and Xbox? If you prefer to play on your home console, you can find more information here about when the survival hit Rust for Xbox and Playstation could be released.
Rust System Requirements 2020/2021
Shooters like Rust benefit primarily from high FPS numbers. The more FPS you have, the smoother the game runs. Currently, the developer states the following requirements for Rust (as of January 21, 2021):
Minimum
Recommended
Processor
Intel Core i7-3770 / AMD FX-9590
Intel Core i7-4790K / AMD Ryzen 5 1600
Graphics Card
GTX 670 2GB / AMD R9 280
GTX 980 / AMD R9 Fury
RAM
10 GB RAM
16 GB RAM
You can also check the requirements on the official Steam page. In the following sections, we will explain:
what you need for the minimum requirements
what you need for the best graphics or high FPS
Finally, we will present you with recommended graphics settings for PvP in Rust.
Rust: What you need for minimum
Compared to the tactical shooter Valorant, the performance of an integrated graphics chip like that of the Ryzen 3 3200G is not sufficient if you want to play at Full HD with reasonable frame rates.
This is what the low-end range looks like: If you only want to achieve the bare minimum, you can look in AMD and Nvidia’s low-end range. Typically, you won’t pay more than 100 euros for the GPU.
In the low-end range, you will find the GeForce GT 1030 and the Radeon RX 550. Both are entry-level graphics cards priced under 100 euros. For the absolute minimum, both graphics cards are more than sufficient, but at significantly higher settings, both quickly become a bottleneck.

Another tip: You definitely need 16 GB of RAM. Rust recommends a minimum of 10 GB. However, you should definitely equip a gaming system with 16 GB.
The RX 550 from PowerColor is a low-end graphics card.
Rust System Requirements: Recommended for more graphics and higher FPS
If you are looking for a bit more power and want to play at 60 FPS or more at Full HD, you need a faster graphics card.
This is what themid-range looks like: In the mid-range, there are powerful representatives that offer enough performance for Full HD and high details. Usually, the prices are not above 200 euros.
In the mid-range, both the Geforce GTX 1660/1650 and RX 5500 XT are two faster graphics cards. With these, you can easily play on high settings, but you won’t reach 144 FPS at Full HD. The recommended retail price for both cards is about 200 euros.

Somewhat outdated, but still powerful enough, are both the GeForce GTX 1050 and the RX 570. However, both cards are no longer officially produced. Better and more efficient are the Geforce GTX 1660/1650 and the RX 5500 XT.
If you’re interested in Rust, you might also find these articles on MeinMMO interesting:
If you want to play in WQHD or even at 144 FPS, you need the corresponding performance that your graphics card must provide. You should expect to pay around 300 to 400 euros. Currently (as of January 21, 2021), many mid-range graphics cards are hard to find at reasonable prices.
In the WQHD range, you will find the RTX 2070 Super and the RX 5700 XT. Currently (as of January 21, 2021), these graphics cards are rarely available. The prices are generally around 300 euros.
The RX 5700 (XT) is currently completely sold out or only available at excessively high prices over 500 euros.
What you should keep in mind: At the beginning of February 2021, there will be another interesting graphics card in the mid-range for around 300 euros with the RTX 3060. It is also not unlikely that competitor AMD will announce a new graphics card in 2021 with the RX 6700 (XT). At the end of 2020, AMD already presented the new Ryzen 5000 processors.
Especially in PvP, graphics settings play an important role.
Rust: Graphics Settings PvP – this is how to set them best
Nowadays, there are various guides, such as on Steam from user Ubz, that provide tips for the best graphics settings.
What are the settings useful for? The settings are primarily aimed at players looking for optimal settings for PvP.
We will explain which points in the graphics settings are important and which you can forgo if you want to sacrifice performance for more FPS.

On January 5, LoL Wild Rift announced 5 new champions. Almost 16 days later, the last of them, Teemo, was released. And he is instantly hated. Either he dominates the game or completely fails.
Accordingly, many players tried out the new champion right away. And for many, it did not go well. In the Wild Rift subreddit, there are countless threads where Teemo players with 0 kills and many deaths were the reason why their team lost.
This especially frustrated teammates in ranked matches. Instead of getting familiar with the new champ and trying him out in normal or bot matches, some dove straight into ranked on day 1. And it did not end well.
On the other hand, there are also players who master Teemo well and dominate with him. There are screenshots of players with 12, 16, and even 19 kills and hardly any deaths (via reddit).
This, in turn, leads to frustration among enemies who have not yet learned how to play against this champion.
But how strong is Teemo really?
Rework for Wild Rift makes Teemo weaker
How does Teemo work in Wild Rift? For the mobile version, the champion has been significantly reworked:
His passive no longer makes him invisible when he stands still. Instead, it ensures that all attacks poison the target and deal bonus damage over time.
Instead of passive and active movement speed, Teemo now gets a dodge roll from the ability “Move Quick” and then movement speed for a short duration.
Guerilla Warfare, the former passive, is now an active ability. It briefly cloaks Teemo and grants additional attack speed after being revealed.
The Blinding Dart and the mushrooms remain roughly the same.

This is how strong Teemo is in Wild Rift: On reddit, user SecualHarassadar published an analysis of Teemo’s abilities. He concludes that he was weakened in many respects compared to the PC version:
His Toxic Shot deals about 18% less ability damage than on PC.
The Blinding Dart deals less damage and blinds for a shorter duration.
The mushrooms deal significantly less damage, making them almost useless.
SecualHarassadar is not alone in his opinion about Teemo. In several threads, the rework is criticized, and the champion is portrayed as too weak. User Byroco writes:
He is extremely weak, as if the developers were too afraid after all the “Satan is coming to us” hype. Thus, he is completely useless, his mushrooms only serve as wards.
He gets killed all the time, provides no real advantages in team fights and his damage is low. Riot, please buff him!
What does this mean for Teemo? In the coming days and weeks, many players will continue to try Teemo, and most will probably end up helping the enemy rather than their own team.
This currently makes him the most hated champion in Wild Rift.
How strong Teemo really is and whether Riot will buff him remains to be seen in the coming days. Currently, we have not integrated him into our tier list yet. However, the other 4 new Yordle champions are already in:
After a leak, it is now official:The Division 2 announced a crossover event with Resident Evil for February. Players will be able to earn cool cosmetics inspired by the horror classic.
The mystery surrounding the event “Codename: Nightmare” has been revealed. Initially planned as a special event with a spooky atmosphere and a unique gameplay experience, Codename: Nightmare has been transformed into a clothing event. The developers at Massive announced this some time ago. It is set to be a clothing event like none before in The Division 2. That was all that was known until now. However, a new announcement has shed light on the situation.
This is what has been newly announced: Yesterday, Xbox France accidentally leaked this event, where a trailer for it briefly went live – apparently too early. But shortly after, there was certainty.
As Capcom shortly thereafter stated during its stream for Resident Evil Village, there will indeed be a crossover event with The Division 2 in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the horror cult series. The trailer was also officially released afterwards.
This is the same event that is listed in the in-game season overview and in the official roadmap for Season 4 as “Operation: Nightmare”.
When exactly will the crossover event take place? Operation: Nightmare will begin on February 2 as part of the currently running Season 4. The clothing event will then run for 2 weeks until February 15, 2021.
What to expect in Operation Nightmare: In this new clothing event, the Division and the S.T.A.R.S., a special police unit from Raccoon City from Resident Evil, will face off – at least visually. Because it will likely remain a purely clothing event – so don’t expect new modes or special gameplay.
As part of this birthday event, you can earn cosmetic outfits of iconic characters from the original Resident Evil trilogy in The Division 2 – as well as weapon skins and other unspecified rewards inspired by the Resident Evil series.
For logging in during the event period, there is already a “Raccoon Police Department” outfit of Leon Kennedy from Resident Evil 2.
The trailer also shows several other event rewards – including the classic outfit of the cult character Jill Valentine and Hunk from an elite unit of the Umbrella Corporation. Claire’s PS1 outfit from Resident Evil 3 also seems to be among the rewards.
Here you can watch the trailer:

This is what the players say: The crossover event is well received by players in the first reactions. Many are looking forward to the new outfits and believe that Resident Evil and zombies fit perfectly with The Division 2.
However, many players regret that Operation: Nightmare has been downgraded to a pure clothing event. Originally, it was supposed to offer a unique gameplay experience and take place in a repurposed Kenly College with a spooky atmosphere. With Resident Evil in the background, it likely would have revolved around zombies – something many players would have loved to experience.
