For about 5 years, there has been a bug in the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online (PC, PS4/PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S), but players like it so much that they want to keep it in the game.
What kind of bug is this: It can happen that your character in ESO does not mount but instead stands on its Mount. If you then “ride” off, your character starts running on the mount. It looks very funny.
The bug has been in the game for about 5 years. It only happens occasionally and it cannot be said for sure what triggers it. Apparently, it is because you start running exactly at the moment you mount.
You can watch how this looks in this video:

What do players think about this bug? The community is thrilled, as the bug has now become part of ESO. It’s simply always funny to see when a player rides past you while running on their mount.
The Ultimate Compendium to ESO Blackwood
148 pages of guides for new and returning players, including a free extra: ESO base game, Morrowind, and 25% off Blackwood at Gamesplanet.
We summarize here some voices from the community regarding this bug:
Artistic_Amphibian99 writes (via reddit): “My dad plays ESO and he firmly believes it’s a feature. He’s angry that he can’t figure out how to trigger it manually.”
Lysdexic999 says (via reddit): “I wish standing on the horse wasn’t a bug and we could always do it when we wanted.”
Goochslayr is happy about the bug (via reddit): “Does anyone know what triggers it? I laugh every time I see it.”
TheGodOfnoOne jokingly says (via reddit): “Running on the back of a horse provides extra speed.”
counselthedevil explains (via reddit): “This is a bug the developers wanted to fix. But players demanded it stay in the game because it’s just too funny. So I’d say: Make it a feature!”
So there are also bugs that players don’t want to have removed immediately. Running on the back of a mount in ESO has basically already “settled in” and should, in the players’ opinion, remain in the game.
Can you understand that and would you also like the bug to remain in the game? Or should it be removed, in your opinion?
The random factor in Patch 9.1 of World of Warcraft is significant again. Especially when it comes to obtaining gear, randomness plays a role again. What is that?, asks Cortyn from MeinMMO.
In the next update of World of Warcraft, there will be really good gear for Twinks. In Patch 9.1, Chains of Domination, you can actually use your accumulated Stygia to buy gear at item level 200 and over time even upgrade it to an impressive 233. However, there is a problem that players are already frustrated about.
What is the problem? The item “Korthian Armaments” sounds nice at first. For 1,000 Stygia, you get a soulbound equipment token that transforms into an item of level 200. Optimal for fresh characters at level 60 or for players who are not interested in group activities.
The catch: The token can become pretty much anything. From chest armor to necklace, to weapon or trinket. You have no influence over which item you end up with. So you might draw 3 weapons in a row, have 5 rings in your inventory, or spend thousands of Stygia without ever getting the item for the equipment slot you actually wanted to fill.
Pretty much everything can come from the item. And a lot of trash as well.
It is yet another one-armed bandit, a new casino element with a random factor in obtaining gear. Something that WoW fans have been criticizing for years.
It worked better before: As much as I find it good to have upgradable Twink gear back in the game, I am all the more confused that Blizzard seems to be taking 2 steps back again. Because whether through Mana Pearls in Nazjatar or Titan Residuum in Boralus – players could always at least choose the equipment slot for which they wanted a new item.
Random rewards can be meaningful
However, I am not fundamentally against random rewards. They can indeed be an enrichment and serve their purpose. I found them meaningful in island expeditions. Just as in the small loot boxes you could snag and open during “Warlords of Draenor” in the garrison.
However, they all had one thing in common: They were cosmetic rewards. And there I find such a massive random principle much more interesting. Because even if you get something you no longer need, you can still sell it at the auction house.
On the islands in BfA, there was also random loot – but that was only cosmetic. That fits.
With gear that is meant to improve the character and make them more useful in cooperation with others, that is not the case. When you have to spend not 1,000 Stygia, but 2,000, 5,000, or even 20,000 Stygia just to finally get the coveted shoes, that creates frustration. Not only because Stygia is a resource that is annoying to farm, but also because this method of loot acquisition just feels wrong.
Not only are the values of the obtained gear random, but also the armor slot itself. This is simply yet another unnecessary random element too much that no one wanted and certainly no one needed.
Additionally, receiving multiple incorrect items creates pressure about the fact that your character has again not received a useful upgrade.
I can only hope that the current system is just a placeholder that will soon be replaced with multiple armor tokens. Because I have no desire for another slot machine for my Twinks. We just recently said goodbye to that with pleasure.
What do you think about this topic? Is it okay if a larger random factor arises in armor purchases? Or should Blizzard fix this quickly?

While exploring dungeons, defeating bosses, or just wandering the world with friends is a lot of fun, it can be really annoying when you need help from strangers. I admit I am not the perfect player. I don’t really play by builds or look for sets. Still, I expect camaraderie and coordination from a group.
But when you are teamed up with players who have no clue at all or who may just want to mess around – which is sometimes hard to distinguish – then motivation goes down the drain.
I expect no perfect builds down to the smallest detail, but just good group play. You have to rely on each other. Whoever plays a damage dealer should also fulfill that role.
In this video, you will learn more about why inexperienced players can be annoying.
2. The main quests could be better
How can you tell that ESO is a real Elder Scrolls? Because the side quests are usually cooler than the main mission. To be honest, hardly any Elder Scrolls has managed to tell a main story that is really interesting and surprising. With the exception of Daggerfall maybe. Because nothing is as it seems. But usually, it’s about defeating a villain. Whether it’s the dark magician Jagar Tharn in The Elder Scrolls: Arena, Mehrunes Dagon in The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, or King Svargrim in ESO: Greymoor.
You just get the feeling you are playing the same main quest over and over: villain appears, threatens something or someone, and is defeated in the end. But in such a creative field as video games, there should be opportunities to try something different than always just the main quest with an end boss at the end.
That’s why I don’t play ESO to enjoy the main story, but because of the small stories happening around it. They motivate me more because they seem much more creative to me.

3. ESO doesn’t take enough risks
I am aware that MMORPGs are often played like a treadmill, and that many enjoy it. Repeatable quests, reliability regarding builds, boss monsters that you can defeat over and over again… This consistency in what an MMORPG offers is important to some fans and the reason to keep coming back. It creates a sense of familiarity.
However, I expect more from a game. For me, an evolution is part of it. Maybe I’m spoiled here, but when I think back to the Ultima series, each installment offered a lot of newness. The individual games differed significantly in gameplay, without completely overhauling the core – the role-playing.
I don’t expect ESO to completely redesign the combat system like it did between Ultima 6 and 7. But I would simply wish for a bit more courage. With the new Champion Point system, the developers already moved in what I think is the right direction.
I would like new gameplay systems that surprise and motivate me. For example, taming wild animals or having an army of NPCs help me build a fortress, like in Conan Exiles. Those are just quick examples. What really comes to ESO would have to fit well into the game.
But at the moment, ESO plays a bit too safe for me and offers the familiar in a new guise. A bit more courage for completely new things would motivate me a lot more. When I just get new quests in new areas with a new end boss with each addon, then a kind of routine quickly sets in that is not far from boredom. And ESO should be anything but boring.
What do you like about ESO and what don’t you like? Let us know in the comments.
MeinMMO author Andreas Bertits has been with the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) since the beta. He shares what he particularly enjoys about the online role-playing game and what annoys him.
For me, The Elder Scrolls Online is currently the best MMORPG. But that doesn’t mean I love every feature unconditionally. Even with games I really like, there are things that annoy me.
Therefore, today I present 3 things about ESO that I really like, but also some aspects that bother me.
What I like about ESO
1. I can also play alone
MMORPGs are a social gaming experience and usually the most fun when you are out with friends. Of course, there are exceptions to that, which I’ll get to later.
It’s just not always possible to be online when friends have time. I am married, have three children, and a full-time job, so there’s simply not as much time left to play as there was during my studies. Especially, I am not as flexible as I used to be. I can’t just quickly agree when a friend messages me asking if I feel like doing a dungeon run.
Therefore, it does happen from time to time that I am out alone, and I also have a lot of fun doing that in ESO.
ESO is an MMORPG where I have no problems quickly mastering a quest, when I am alone. I even played it quite far alone at the time of release.

In this video, you can see how well you can manage alone in ESO.
2. I love the many stories in the quests
I am a player for whom experiencing exciting adventures while playing is very important. Story is more important to me than gameplay. I can forgive a weak combat system or a complex skill system in a game, but if the story doesn’t appeal to me or the quests are too monotonous, then I’m out.
I want to lose myself in the virtual world, learn more about its history, and experience adventures that captivate me in front of the screen. I want to get to know the NPCs and maybe stumble upon a surprise in the story. Longer dialogues don’t bother me, even if I had to read them instead of only hearing them.
You can tell that The Elder Scrolls Online comes from a single-player series that places great value on stories and quests. Therefore, the focus is also on this area in ESO.
And so, it’s exactly the right MMORPG for me to provide me with exciting stories.

This video introduces you to a good side quest from ESO.
3. PvP and PvE are separate
It is not a given nowadays that developers separate PvP and PvE. It is somewhat understandable that developers want to put players in risky situations to obtain the most valuable rewards. The so-called “Risk versus Reward” system works quite well. Just not, for me, when PvP and PvE are mixed.
I have no desire to be in the middle of a quest or gathering resources and then suddenly be attacked by other players. That’s why I like the system of ESO. If I want to experience PvP, I can either challenge another player to a duel, which the player must accept, or I can travel to Cyrodiil and participate in the Alliance Wars.
If I don’t want to do PvP in ESO, I don’t have to, and I can leisurely enjoy the world of Tamriel, the quests, and the stories.

Many users want to buy a PS5, but it is hard to come by. However, this week there are supposed to be more consoles available. Therefore, you should keep an eye on important retailers this week or follow our PS5 ticker.
After you can pre-order PS5 controllers in new colors since the beginning of the week, there are also indications that you can now purchase new PS5 consoles at any time.
According to various sources, a large number of PS5 consoles were supposed to have arrived at the beginning of this week. Currently, the goods are mainly located in the UK.
Nonetheless, the rumor gives hope that German-speaking customers can buy a PS5 console at any time again. This rumor is also fueled by the suggestion that Sony has shipped a larger PS5 delivery to Europe. Evidence for this includes various PS5 sales in England, Switzerland, and Austria (via PCGH).
Which retailers should you pay attention to? According to the industry magazine Gameswirtschaft, various electronics wholesalers are expected to offer a PS5 for sale this week (via gameswirtschaft.de). Among the retailers expected to be important this week are:
Alternate
Expert
Euronics
Medimax
Retailers like Conrad and SmythsToys are also being highly rated this week, as they were not involved in previous drops.
Smaller retailers are supposed to start a sales action first before larger retailers like Amazon or MediaMarkt/Saturn follow. However, this is just a rumor, and there is no official confirmation for this statement.
When are the sales supposed to start? There are currently no official dates or times. From experience, we can report that drops can start at very different times. Amazon has been very early in recent months, while other retailers offered PS5 consoles more around noon.
Today, on May 18, 2021, the retailer Euronics has at least ruled out a drop. The seller officially stated this on Twitter:
However, there are no official statements from other retailers yet. So it is best to regularly keep an eye on our MeinMMO PS5 ticker. Here you will find an extensive list with links and further details, and we will keep you updated daily on where you can buy a PS5 console.
This is what it looks like among the interested parties: A strong community has formed among PS5 enthusiasts. The hunt for a PS5 has become an adventure for many: Some desperately want to have a new console, while others are only interested in quick money.

In Destiny 2, a huge leak reveals a new element, the return of old enemies, and even content from 2022 – Why might there be something to it?
This leak is about: A ton of information about the future of Bungie’s MMO shooter Destiny 2 has leaked that does not come from official sources. It concerns specific details about the upcoming DLC Witch Queen (2022) as well as many contents that will appear in 2021.
In principle, you could find and report such leaks on the internet every week. However, this particular leak seems to have more validity than pure fanfiction – that’s what many Guardians agree on.
It includes mechanics from the Vault of Glass, story secrets from the Dreaming City, including the return of Mara, and special celebrations that connect Halo and Destiny 2. MeinMMO presents the most important information and assesses how likely they are.
Spoiler warning: Attention, potential information about upcoming content follows – you have been warned!
[toc]
Why should I believe all this?
Reasons in favor: The leak originates from January 2021 and is a collection of countless separate entries (via Discord). The last time, the information was updated in April 2021 with more entries, so this is not a brand new leak.
What’s interesting is that nearly everything shown about the ongoing Season 14, which started on May 11, has since occurred or been confirmed by database findings. Other information regarding the already completed Season 13 has also occurred as the leak had predicted.
Calus’ daughter appears and makes Zavala’s life difficult, as was said before Season 13.
Changes to the loot quest system have also occurred.
As a lot of content from the leak has proven true, Guardians are eagerly looking forward to the upcoming content, which we are trying to summarize clearly for you. But remember, these are not official statements from Bungie, and skepticism is warranted.
The leak reveals about the DLC “Witch Queen“
This new element is coming: With the next expansion, you should receive new focuses with the previously unknown element “Vapour” – meaning something like steam. The new element is said to focus on damage over time (DoT), explicitly stating in the leak, “just like with Thorn.”
The projectiles from Thorn bore into targets and poison the victims
This would be the second element of darkness. With Beyond Light, we received the icy Stasis abilities at the end of 2020. Guardians have been speculating for a while that the next element of darkness will be called Corruption and will function like Thorn or the exotic gloves Necrotic Grip.
Here are more details about the DLC:
Osiris has been flipped or replaced by Savathûn.
The titular witch queen will return the real Osiris to us Guardians if we eliminate her worm (this gets complicated, as in the lore, the Hive and their leaders like Oryx are dependent on an ever-hungry worm that gives them power but essentially eats them).
Current weapon lore entries talk about the takeover of a character, and a new weapon is even called “Empty Vessel” and is supposed to speak not from the weapon but from Osiris (via Light.gg).
The final boss of “Witch Queen” is not Savathûn, Xivu Arath (3rd sister of Oryx), or Quria (a Vex spirit now under Savathûn’s control).
What we know officially: So far, solid information from Bungie itself about the next expansion is sparse. We know that “Witch Queen” has been postponed to early 2022. Additionally, it is known that Savathûn will be the new main enemy of the DLC.
It is also known that Savathûn is attempting to “turn” Guardians. Osiris would be a good candidate as he is constantly disappearing and hanging out beyond the light’s boundaries. At the end of 2020, speculations and leaks regarding the new location of the DLC also emerged:
According to the leak, however, after “Witch Queen” and the DLC “Lightfall” following in 2023, there won’t be an end. Bungie wants to stick with the Destiny franchise indefinitely and refers to the plans for the future as “Codename Sunspot.” But until then, there is still a lot of time, what will happen in the immediate future?
This is what awaits Guardians in 2021
Do we already know Season 15? The current season of the Splicer ends in August 2021. According to leaks, the Season of the Lost will follow directly after. So roughly, something like the season of the lost. The following things have been leaked, which will likely be the focus of the season:
Mara Sov, the queen of the Awoken, is returning.
The story of the Dreaming City and the never-ending curse will be told to an end.
The weapons from the Dreaming City will receive new perks and a new light level.
How likely is this? Everything sounds speculative, but it could just as easily be true. At some point, the Dreaming City will enter the Content Vault – that is confirmed. Before that, Bungie must or should conclude the longstanding questions surrounding Mara Sov and the curse.
That the old weapons are returning with new perks has become common practice, which is very likely.
These are the additional details from a leak for 2021:
Eramis, the nasty Fallen lady from Beyond Light, is said to be returning “soon”. Currently, she is frozen in ice on Europa.
A new dungeon is set to arrive in 2021. Dungeons are like small raids for up to 3 Guardians, which are very popular in the community. As of now, Destiny 2 has three such dungeons.
In the currently completely unknown dungeon, a new exotic is waiting.
Mara Sov and Eramis
Bungie is planning something big for the 30th anniversary, says the leak
This is how the anniversary will be celebrated: Bungie, the studio behind Destiny, was founded on July 19, 1991, and celebrates its 30th birthday this year. Guardians are supposed to celebrate the anniversary as follows:
Destiny 2 is set to receive the iconic Magnum from Halo as a new weapon. This gun was OP in PvP battles of Halo Combat Evolved (2001) and some veterans still have nightmares from the headshots.
More content from Destiny 1 is set to be pulled from the Content Vault.
With “many” exotic quests and festive armor, Bungie will celebrate Halo and the classic game Marathon (1994) in Destiny 2.
The leak also mentions that the content is supposed to be available through a bundle in the shop.
How likely is that? Hard to say. The rights to Halo do not belong to creator Bungie but are with Microsoft and managed by 343 Industries. However, Master Chief has appeared in Fortnite, and Halo is set to receive the latest installment “infinite” in 2021. So Microsoft would likely not be completely averse to a promotion.
In the databases of Destiny 2, there is an emblem called “10,950 Days” (via Light.gg) which mathematically represents 30 years. Bungie already celebrates Bungie Day annually, so for the big anniversary, one could at least expect something.
This is how the return of the Vault of Glass will look
One of the highlights of the still-earlier Season 14 starts on May 22: The Vault of Glass will open its doors again.
This is what the leak reveals about the raid: As mentioned at the beginning, the leak reveals that in the soon-to-begin raid, Vex Wyverns are expected as new enemies. These are the large, bipedal robots from Beyond Light that no one really likes.
The known Gorgons are said to have 12 times as many hit points as they did back in Destiny 1. They were the enemies in the labyrinth who could be killed but were meant to be avoided. This fits with Bungie’s statements that we Guardians have become significantly stronger since 2014 (it seems 12 times stronger).
If a Gorgon finds you in the labyrinth, it turns you to stone like the beautiful Gorgon Medusa from Greek mythology
The individual raid encounters do not start automatically but begin when you manually interact with something. Aside from that, the leak only contains information that has since been confirmed by Bungie or can already be found in databases:
The Vex Mythoclast is returning as a raid exotic.
6 legendary weapons from the Vault of Glass are returning with random perks. Atheon’s Epilogue (automatic rifle) and Praetorian Foil (fusion) are missing.
An exotic ship is waiting for the Guardians.
By the way, Bungie has reportedly acknowledged that the Deep Stone Crypt was too easy – which has been a heated topic of discussion in the community. Will this have an impact on the Vault of Glass? After all, a hard mode has been announced for July 6.
What do you think of this extensive leak about the future of Destiny and the next expansion? Do you believe a word of it or are even the old predictions just coincidence? Let us know in the comments which of the potentially revealed secrets you are most looking forward to.

Official information about the new game in the series Battlefield in 2021 is still scarce. However, rumors are still circulating, fueled once again by further leaked screenshots from the yet-to-be-released trailer of the game. The latest image leaks finally reveal the supposed name of the game.
What’s the significance of the images? In addition to the screenshots already known from the unreleased trailer for the new Battlefield game, more screenshots from the trailer have now surfaced. The images also come from the Discord server of well-known Battlefield leaker Tom Henderson, who has often published accurate information about Battlefield in advance.
The images could therefore be quite real. However, they are marked with annoying troll faces, possibly to avoid legal issues.
What do the new image leaks show? Of the new images, the last one is particularly interesting. The first images do not show much recognizable, but we see:
A rocket launch: In some of the images, a launching rocket can be seen. The scaffolding is breaking away, and confused figures are scurrying around the projectile. It seems to be a battle over this rocket, which might be prevented from launching? In other images, the thing seems to have already launched.
An explosion: Another image shows just a spectacular explosion. The sky is darkened by the cloud of smoke and debris, and figures are stumbling around, disoriented and thrown by the detonation.

What does the final image show? However, the last image displays the supposed name of the new game. Surprisingly, the title is apparently not “Battlefield 6” or anything like that. It simply says “Battlefield” in neon blue against a black background. Strange stripes also horizontally cross the image. The whole image reminds one of the aesthetics of the 80s.

How certain is this title? Is the new installment of the shooter series really just called “Battlefield” without a number or additional title? At least in the leaked image, nothing like that can be seen. But note the ugly troll face along with a black censor bar, which cheekily intrudes into the image.
There could very well be a “6” behind it, which could just fit in the middle of the picture. Moreover, we do not know when this screenshot was taken. So it could very well be that just a second later in the trailer, a number or a subtitle would have been blended into the image. According to leaker Tom Henderson, the new game is supposed to represent a kind of reboot of the series, and such a simple name would indeed be fitting.
This is how fans are reacting: On Reddit, fans have already started modifying the leaked image according to their own ideas. A user enhanced and sharpened the image a bit. In this version, the image with the title looks futuristic and simple, yet still promising.
What do you think about the title of the new Battlefield if it were simply called Battlefield? Do you find it original or uninspired? And what do you think the setting of the new game will be? According to the information we have so far, we will already learn more about the next installment of the Battlefield series in June 2021.

Ashes of Creation (PC) is the great MMORPG hope from the West for many players. However, there has been a strict NDA on the game so far, which meant that alpha testers could not talk about their experiences. This NDA was surprisingly lifted last night. However, what the testers describe is still a very raw and unfinished version of the game.
Steven Sharif, the Game Director of Ashes of Creation, spontaneously announced on May 17 at 11:33 PM our time that the non-disclosure agreement (NDA) had been lifted.
The testers from the previous alpha can now freely talk about the MMORPG, but are not allowed to show images and videos of it. Therefore, there are now first experiences with Ashes of Creation on reddit and Discord.
What do the testers say? The testers paint a picture of a very raw and unfinished version of the MMORPG:
The max level is 15, although it only went up to level 10 for a long time
All gameplay content such as nodes or caravans are still in an initial stage
Quests are said to give little XP and are very simple (kill XY, go to person XY)
In the early days, there were said to be many bugs, lags, and server issues. While these have been resolved by now, many still believe that Ashes of Creation will not be released before 2023 or even 2024. However, many emphasize the great potential they see in the MMORPG.
We at MeinMMO were also able to take a brief look at Ashes of Creation and can confirm the impression of a raw and unfinished version. Additionally, we conducted an interview with Steven Sharif, which will be published here in the coming days.
To give you a glimpse into the gameplay, we have embedded the latest video from the developers from April:

Is Ashes of Creation ready for the public? Almost all reports and statements from the testers paint the same picture. Ashes of Creation is in a “real alpha” and is still far from a finished state.
It is important to note that so far, only people who have spent at least 500 dollars or have obtained a key from the developers have been able to play.
The fact that Ashes of Creation is very unfinished is emphasized by the user qwety9000 in their reddit thread titled “The game is not ready for the public” (via reddit):
I know, this post will upset a lot of people, but this game is simply not ready to be streamed/viewed by probably millions of people. After playing Alpha 1, I can say that the game is still very basic. Many systems do not work, bugs, rubberbanding, quest bugs, UI bugs, and combat needs a lot of work as well.
But trust me, this game has a lot of potential, but if you let someone like Asmongold [a well-known Twitch streamer] stream this alpha in front of 80,000 viewers, it will be a disaster. Please Steven, remember, it’s not just about transparency, but about saving the game. The reality is that this game is many years away from release.
This is what Ashes of Creation currently looks like in terms of graphics and interface (image from the official livestream in April).
What do the testers say about the combat system? The player Talents has documented his experiences as a tester from December 2020 until now (via GoogleDocs). He goes into detail about the combat system:
You can already switch between tab-targeting and action fights
In tab-targeting, you press “Q” to execute your auto-attack, in action mode the left mouse button. Other users added that there is currently no way to change the key bindings, so the auto-attack has to stay on Q
There is a dodge roll, but in his opinion, it feels meaningless because you do not evade damage while dodging
Moreover, he criticizes the movement, which is said to feel very generic, and the enemy mobs that “hit until you die.” Only a few of the mobs are said to have real mechanics
A major criticism from Talents is also that there are penalties for death. Currently, you lose about 50% of collected materials and XP when you die. Another user says you would lose 2.5% through PvE, 5% through PvP, and 10% XP through PvP if you had previously collected a lot of bad karma.
Other users also note that magical damage is currently significantly stronger than physical. Auto-attacks are said to only deal 7 to 15 damage in some instances, while spells deal 90 and more (via YouTube). There are also said to be issues with action combat for some players (via reddit).
The YouTuber Narc explains the combat system in more detail in his video, where he sees more potential and less of the current state. He describes fighting as a mix of the good and fluid animations of Guild Wars 2 with the action and Holy Trinity from ESO. He especially praises the ability to crit enemies and utilize momentum from jumps (the descriptions of the combat start at minute 2:50):
https://youtu.be/HGsRR–rGUY?t=170
What do the testers say about the game content? Talents and other players have also extensively commented on the game’s content:
The character editor is still very simple
The map is a little more than 1/10 the size it is supposed to be at release
The caravan events, which transport materials from one node to another, are currently pointless because there is nothing to transport
The housing in AoC currently only consists of an interface that says: “This is your house.” You can store items there. You cannot yet enter or decorate an apartment
The loot is currently very basic. There are 3 different types of shards that can be sold or used for caravans
There are supposedly 4 dungeons, one raid, and a few mini-bosses in the game
You can already gather materials, chop wood, and fish, although the materials are always located in the exact same spot. Also, the rest of the crafting system is not yet complete
What do the testers say about the graphics? Even the first videos from the developers of Ashes of Creation show a beautiful game world. This has also been confirmed by the testers, although not all areas of the map are said to be detailed:
The player Talents describes especially the starter zone as beautiful. However, the “Midland” seems to look a bit outdated in comparison.
The reddit user FishermanSushi describes the world as beautiful with a great mix of flora and fauna (via reddit).
What do the testers say about performance and bugs? Regarding performance, the previous voices also agree. It is said to have been particularly difficult around February and March, which is why the first postponement of the alpha took place.
There are also said to be endless bugs in the game. The reddit user SanicExplosion listed some in his feedback on alpha (via GoogleDocs), including:
An infinite sprint bug
Summoning mounts leads to a bug that prevented the use of action mode
You lost your house after a server restart
Many quests were not completable
There were various display errors when gathering
There were bugs with the environment, lighting, and flying mobs
What is the testers’ conclusion? Almost all players see incredible potential in Ashes of Creation, although many must have seen that before testing to spend 500 dollars at all. The MMORPG attracted many players in advance with the promise of an action-packed combat system, huge PvE and PvP battles, and the construction of cities.
However, nearly everyone emphasizes that the release is still a long way off and will likely not take place until 2023 or even 2024. This is a dampener for all those who are already looking forward to the finished version of Ashes of Creation.
We at MeinMMO were able to spend a few hours in the Alpha One of Ashes of Creation. Due to limited time windows, we managed to play about 6 hours in the alpha when we add up our playtime. However, we can confirm what the testers describe. Ashes of Creation is still clearly in a raw state, where only the core elements of the game are present. A big problem was the rubberbanding. In other words, the character was reset every few meters as if it were connected to a rubber band.
Right at the beginning, you could decide which path you wanted to follow. You could choose between different quest lines. Some led directly into battle, while others were intended for exploration. I chose the exploration line and was able to see quite a bit of the game world as I had to search for animals on the map for my quest.
Despite the technical shortcomings, it can be said that the material shown by the developers does not lie when it comes to visuals. The world is detailed and can suck you in, if not interrupted by bugs and a jerky movement. There is potential to be seen, but it is still too early to really judge the game. We also believe that a release would be realistic at the earliest in 2023.
Final Fantasy 14 Online: Endwalker will be released on November 23, 2021. This was revealed at the fan festival by developer Square Enix – and there is also a cinematic video lasting over 5 minutes that is supposed to set the mood for the new expansion. Endwalker is coming for PC, Mac, PS4, and PS5.

What you still need to know: The event with Yveltal is still running until May 31 in Pokémon GO and is divided into two parts. The second part is all about Eevee and its evolutions. In addition, the new evolution “Florges” is coming to the game.
What do you think of the tasks and rewards of the new research for the “Luminous Legends Y” event with Yveltal? Do you like the idea of tackling Team Rocket or would you have preferred a different theme for the tasks?

In Pokémon GO today starts the event “Illuminating Legends Y” with Yveltal. However, the legendary monster is not the only interesting thing about this big event.
When does the Yveltal event start? The event “Illuminating Legends Y” is divided into two parts. The first part starts on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at 10:00 AM local time. The first section ends on Monday, May 24, 2021, at 8:00 PM local time.
During the first part, some bonuses will already come into play, mainly revolving around Dark-type monsters. We will take a closer look at the features here.
This is what the first part of the Yveltal event brings
What you can expect from the event: Starting from the event launch, you can encounter the legendary Pokémon Yveltal in 5-star raids. It is a Dark and Flying type monster from the sixth generation.
But Yveltal is just one of the features that await you. Team Rocket also plays an important part in the first event week.
The release of Yveltal is approaching
This is Team Rocket’s role: Some Team GO Rocket Grunts are expected to come with a changed tactic starting from the event launch. This means: New Shadow monsters may await you in battle against Team Rocket, which you can then rescue.
If successful, Galarian Zigzagoon can also appear in its shiny variant. Furthermore, there will be triple catch XP and Galarian Zigzagoon raids for the remainder of the event. So, it is worthwhile to fight against the Rockets.
This is what the Galar Zigzagoon family, including shinies, looks like
If you encounter the Rocket bosses and leaders Giovanni, you can find the right tactic against them here:
This is what’s important about Team Rocket: During the event, you can use Charged TMs to make your Shadow monsters forget the move “Frustration”. This allows you to exchange the mostly useless move for a strong attack.
This is worthwhile because Shadow monsters are generally stronger attackers than their normal forms, and “Frustration” cannot be forgotten easily outside of certain event periods. Therefore, you should take advantage of this time if you own some exciting Shadow monsters.
These spawns await you: Aside from Yveltal and Team Rocket, the event also brings some altered spawns. Primarily, these are Dark-type Pokémon that you can find more frequently in the wild.
Among the spawns are Houndoom and Carvanha, but additional Pokémon are expected to come along. Hunting these monsters may also be worthwhile if you want to evolve Pam-Pam – you will need Dark-type monsters for that. In addition, Pokémon from the last weeks like Parfi, Swablu, and Viscora will still be catchable.
These three Pokémon in Pokémon GO also have a special evolution:
This is how the event continues: The second part of the event will start on May 25, 2021, at 10:00 AM and will run until May 31, 2021, at 8:00 PM. A large part of this event section will revolve around the new Eevee evolution Feelinara. Trainers have already discovered an evolution trick for this.
Additionally, some old Eevee evolutions will be found in raids, and altered spawns are also expected. Furthermore, the 7-km eggs will include Pokémon like Eevee, Pii, Swablu, Togepi, Azurill, Parfi, and Swablu.
The online RPG Phantasy Star Online 2 is getting a sequel with New Genesis, which also revises old content and even carries it over into the new game. At the same time, it will become more of an MMORPG. In May 2021, the first beta took place in the West, and it is now clear that fans of MMORPGs should keep an eye on PSO 2.
What exactly is New Genesis? Basically, Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis consists of two parts:
On the one hand, the old PSO 2 is graphically revised and ported to a new engine
On the other hand, completely new content will be released, which can be played with New Genesis. This takes place 1,000 years after the actual story of PSO 2 and looks graphically significantly better
The two parts will use the same client and also overlap. This should make it possible to carry over your characters and certain content from PSO 2 to New Genesis and vice versa. However, this is purely cosmetic. All stats will be removed from equipment, and in-game currency or materials cannot be transferred.
What payment model does the game use? Both PSO 2 and the new version New Genesis are free-to-play. They are financed through a real money shop, where there are some useful convenience items like additional bank and inventory slots, but no direct pay-to-win.
Can you start anew with New Genesis? Yes, getting started is easy without prior knowledge. And this entry can be very rewarding for MMORPG fans, as Sega has taken different paths with the new part.
New Genesis resembles an MMORPG much more than the base version of Phantasy Star Online 2 does. There is now an open world where you can meet players. Additionally, there are many boss monsters that you fight together.
Most notably, PSO 2 New Genesis impresses with its dynamic combat and movement systems. So, if you are excited about action-packed fights against giant bosses, you should keep an eye on New Genesis.
A first glimpse of the game is provided by this YouTube video of mine, in which I recorded the first hour of gameplay in the beta:

Fun movement and dynamic battles in a beautiful game world
What does New Genesis offer for character creation? In PSO 2 New Genesis, you can create a character from 4 different races: Humans, Newmans, CASTs, and Deumans. For players who have no experience with Phantasy Star, the races look quite similar. Deumans, for example, are humans who have horns instead of ears.
All 4 races also have access to 6 different classes:
Hunter – A melee fighter with a sword and quite a few hit points
Fighter – A melee fighter with relatively few hit points and more damage
Ranger – A ranged fighter at medium range who can also support teammates
Gunner – A character armed with pistols who has many movement abilities but fights mostly at medium range
Force – A type of elemental mage
Techer – A ranged character from long range who can support allies with technical gadgets
In PSO 2, there are also other classes like Braver, Bouncer, and Summoner. However, these have not yet been announced for New Genesis.
The character editor is overall very detailed, and you have the option to change all body areas as you wish with sliders. There is also an almost unlimited selection for hairstyles, eyes, and corresponding colors.
The character editor of PSO 2 New Genesis is also highlighted by the developers in almost every livestream.
How do you move? One of the strengths of PSO 2 New Genesis is movement. You can sprint, jump, and glide gently downwards. Particularly with jumping, a lot is possible, as you have a double jump and also a “wall jump.” With proper timing, you can bounce up entire mountains.
This is also really fun in New Genesis, as you move in an open world here, unlike in the original version of PSO 2. Additionally, there are updrafts when gliding that allow you to soar high into the sky – similar to Guild Wars 2.
How do you fight in New Genesis? PSO 2 generally relies on a very active combat system, which has been further improved with New Genesis. You need to aim at your targets and can then unleash initial attacks with the right and left mouse buttons.
You can also fight from the air, jump, dodge, and have various abilities that keep you moving as well. If you don’t want to aim precisely, you can lock onto a target by pressing the “Q” key and then only attack that enemy.
Those who wish can jump, glide, and even fight from the air in New Genesis.
Every player can also heal themselves and use special abilities. However, you need to collect plants and energies in the game world in advance to charge these abilities.
Additionally, there are different weapon sets that can be switched between during combat. This way, you can adapt to various situations in battle and access even more abilities. PSO 2 already had this switch, but there were issues with the different multipliers in the game. In New Genesis, the other weapons scale based on the main weapon.
The only downsides to the combat system are the sometimes very long animations that can leave you trapped in combat, as well as the absence of health bars. Thus, you never know how much damage you have already inflicted and how much more needs to be dealt.
Overall, PSO 2 already caught attention with its combat system, where especially at higher levels a wrong step can lead to death.
What else stands out in New Genesis? Although the game has been graphically improved significantly, it still looks a bit “old.” Additionally, the interface visually seems to be stuck somewhere in the early 2000s and does not appear modern either.
The mid and endgame of New Genesis are still somewhat uncertain
What does the progression system of New Genesis look like? In PSO 2 New Genesis, you can explore an open world and complete quests and boss monsters. You earn experience points and new equipment from this.
You can also upgrade your equipment using certain materials, with higher upgrades being bound to a higher level.
What does the game offer in the endgame? It is currently hard to say what the endgame content looks like in the game, as few details have been revealed, and the beta ended at level 16.
In PSO 2, the endgame primarily consists of farming the best gear and upgrading it later. The equipment system is in-depth and somewhat complex. Additionally, you can level new classes and dress your character particularly stylishly (fashion endgame).
Something similar is likely to be offered in New Genesis for endgame.

It is often said that fashion is the real endgame of PSO 2.
Is there PvP? Officially, there has been no word on PvP. In PSO 2, there is an arena mode, which, however, is not played very actively. In it, your own equipment and weapons do not matter, and you get random gear specific to the match.
Due to the low interest in PvP, there are even players who wish the developers wouldn’t waste their time on PvP content in New Genesis (via reddit).
What’s next for PSO 2 New Genesis? The first beta has now passed, and the release is planned for June 2021. Whether there will be another beta beforehand is currently uncertain.
New Genesis will be an MMORPG for fans of action-packed battles, fashion, and grind
Who is PSO 2 New Genesis for? New Genesis clearly targets the fans of PSO 2. However, general MMORPG players might also be attracted to the new game.
The focus is mainly on the active combat system, the movement with jumping and gliding, as well as the huge world bosses and the collection of equipment.
However, you should have a fondness for anime games, complex combos, and a deep and somewhat grindy equipment system. Otherwise, based on the first impressions of the beta, you will likely not enjoy New Genesis.
Very soon, you can earn really good gear in World of Warcraft all on your own. However, it will take a little while…
Every few days, Blizzard reveals upcoming content from Patch 9.1 Chains of Domination in World of Warcraft. Still, every new PTR version brings more items and content, giving us a clearer view of the future of Shadowlands.
One point should excite fans of twinks and solo players: There is really strong gear available without having to rely on other players.
What’s happening? In Patch 9.1, there is a new vendor in Korthia, the new mini-area in the Maw. There, you can buy account-bound gear tokens. These turn into an item with item level 200 upon use. This corresponds – at the current stage – to raid loot from the normal Castle Nathria. However, these items can still be upgraded further.
The new “catch-up” items.
Particularly cool: You can buy the tokens for this gear with Stygia and send them to your twinks. So if you have a lot of unused Stygia on your main character, you can spend it in the upcoming update for solid upgrades to your secondary characters.
How does the upgrading work? To further upgrade the items, you first need to gain reputation with the new faction “The Archivist’s Codex.” Gradually, you will unlock new upgrade levels through the questline and associated reputation.
The upgrades cost (in increasing amounts) “Cataloged Research.” These are basically secrets from Korthia – a new currency from Patch 9.1. Gradually, it is possible to upgrade items up to item level 233.
The upgrade costs “Cataloged Research,” a new resource in Patch 9.1. Image source: wowhead
How strong is the gear? Simply put: Quite strong. For being able to farm the gear solo, it is quite powerful. The final item level corresponds to the loot available from the last boss in the Sanctum of Domination, the new raid, namely level 233. It’s quite strong when you keep in mind that you can earn it entirely on your own.
You just need to complete the daily and weekly content in Korthia to gather the necessary resources.
Is there even better gear? Yes. Even though item level 233 sounds high at first glance, there will be better gear from heroic and mythic raids, as well as PvP and “Mythic+.”
However, there will likely be no gear that can be earned without the help of other players and has such a high item level. Anyone who understands World of Warcraft more as a solo game and prefers to experience adventures alone will find this gear quite suitable.
All others can at least use it to get their second and third characters into a starting position, to make it easier in Torghast, Korthia, dungeons, and raids.
Please note that the information is still from the PTR. Details may change before the release.
Are there any downsides? Yes, some. On one hand, the highest levels of this gear will only be unlocked further along in Patch 9.1. They require Renown level 61 (item level 226) and Renown level 75 (item level 233). Since you can only earn 2-3 Renown levels per week, it will take weeks and months until the items can be upgraded to the maximum.
Additionally, you cannot specifically purchase items, but must only acquire a token that grants a piece of gear for a random slot. Targeted purchases of gear are therefore virtually impossible.
What do you think of this gear for solo players? Good that they can gear up solidly? Or is it too easy to get good gear?

If you are still looking for reinforcements for your team, we have here some strong players for you, who cost under 100,000 coins:
Roccat has introduced two gaming mice, the Kone Pro and the Kone Pro Air. Both mice are aimed at gamers who prefer lightweight options. MeinMMO has tested the mice and reveals who they are suited for.
Key points at a glance:
The Roccat Kone Pro and Pro Air are two extremely lightweight mice. The Kone Pro weighs 66 grams while the Kone Pro Air weighs 75 grams.
The Kone Pro uses a USB cable, while the Kone Pro Air connects wirelessly via a dongle or Bluetooth.
The wired Kone Pro costs 79.99 euros, while the Kone Pro Air is priced at 129.99 euros.
The Kone Pro is a well-rounded alternative to the Roccat Kone Pure Ultra, mainly due to numerous small design improvements.
The Kone Pro Air is recommended for gamers looking for an ergonomic, wireless mouse as an alternative to the Razer Deathadder V2 Pro.
Which mouse is it about? In mid-April, Roccat introduced the Kone Pro and Kone Pro Air. These new mice aim to impress buyers primarily with their lightweight design.
This is interesting for gamers who frequently move their mouse and feel disturbed by high weight. Particularly, shooter players prefer lightweight mice.
In our test, we want to see how the new Kone Pro performs in practice. MeinMMO had already tested the Roccat Burst Pro. Here too, it is a particularly lightweight gaming mouse.
Roccat Kone Pro Review: How did we test it?
How long was the mouse tested? We were able to extensively test the mouse and take a closer look:
The gaming mouse was in use for about 14 days.
We mainly played shooters like Overwatch or Apex Legends with the mouse. Here, the mouse was used constantly for three or four hours, accompanying us during fights.
In direct comparison, we also had Roccat’s Kone Pure Ultra and Razer’s Viper in hand.

Roccat Kone Pro in detail
What is special about the mouse? Many particularly lightweight gaming mice use a hole or honeycomb system. Two well-known examples are the Xtrfy M4 RGB or Glorious Model O-.
Roccat avoids holes in its “Kone Pro” models. The honeycomb pattern is suggested on the mouse buttons, but there are no actual “holes” in the mouse.
Weight: With its 66 grams, the Roccat Kone Pro is one of the lightest gaming mice available. Razer’s Viper weighs 69 grams, while the Glorious Model O- is even lighter at 58 grams.
Roccat Kone Pro: Weight comparison:
Glorious Model O-
58 grams
Roccat Kone Pro
66 grams
Roccat Burst Pro
68 grams
Razer Viper
69 grams
Endgame Gear XM
70 grams
Logitech G Pro Wireless
81 grams
Skates: Roccat uses two large PTFE skates on the back of the Kone Pro.
The package also includes an additional set of skates for replacement, which is very commendable and practical when the existing skates are worn out.
What sensor does the mouse use? Roccat uses a modified version of the optical Pixart MMW-3370 in its Pro models. Roccat calls the modified sensor “Owl-Eye.”
The DPI can be adjusted from 50 to 19,000 in increments of 50. The settings are saved in the internal memory of the mouse. If you use the mouse on multiple computers simultaneously, your personal settings will always be with you.
Kone Pro Air (left) and Kone Pro (right). In terms of ergonomics, RGB and build, the mice do not differ from each other.
Roccat Kone Pro: Grip type
With its size and weight, the mouse is primarily aimed at claw grip and fingertip players. However, the ergonomic shape is also suitable for palm grip users who prefer to take the mouse fully in hand.
This is our impression: Thanks to its ergonomic design for right-handers, the mouse feels comfortable in the hand. This is true for both palm grip and claw grip.
In “claw grip,” it is almost most comfortable as we can best feel the pressure point of the buttons. Even better than in palm grip.
Claw grip: Fingertips, thumb, and part of the palm rest on the mouse. This way, the mouse can be controlled almost most comfortably, as all buttons are easily reachable.
Fingertip grip: Only the thumb and fingertips rest on the mouse. The rest of the hand is free. However, the front thumb button of the Kone Pro is difficult to reach for smaller hands.
Palm grip: The hand completely encircles the mouse. Thanks to the ergonomic shape of the mouse and the low weight, it is comfortable for the arm.
However, with fingertip grip, depending on hand size, there may be limitations. With smaller hands, the front thumb button is hardly comfortable to reach in fingertip grip. For this, the Kone Pro is almost a bit too big. With the Kone Pure Ultra, we had fewer issues.
Roccat Kone Pro Software “Roccat Swarm”
What we like about the software: Roccat uses the “Roccat Swarm Software” with its Burst Pro. Once you connect the mouse to the PC, it is immediately recognized by the PC. The software downloads the appropriate update for the mouse, and then it is ready to use.
The software itself presents itself neatly and clearly. Through a tab in the upper half, all Roccat devices are controlled, and you can select the mouse directly. Here you can then make all the settings. We can adjust the brightness or configure the lighting system (AIMO), or assign functions to the buttons.
The operation is simple and straightforward. A mixture of German and English. While most texts are now in German, buttons in menus are mainly presented in English.
This is not successful: The Swarm software consists of a mix of German and English in some places. Additionally, it offers a lot of functions that may overwhelm you at first glance and that you probably won’t need.
The Roccat Kone Pro in practice
In this section, we present how the mouse performs in practical tests. We will address the weight and speed, but also discuss which sensor works in the mouse and what possibilities the mouse offers in practice.
In the test, we compare the Kone Pro directly with its predecessor, the Kone Pure Ultra.
Kone Pro and Pure Ultra look similar, but there are some differences.
Roccat Kone Pro vs Roccat Kone Pure Ultra
Processing: Both gaming mice are built with a robust plastic chassis and feature two large skates on the underside. The feet and the scroll wheel of the Kone Pro overall make a more robust impression. The cable of the Kone Pro feels significantly more premium than the thin cable of the Kone Pure Ultra.
While Roccat installed Omron switches with a durability of 50 million in the Pure Ultra, the manufacturer uses its own optical Titan switches in the Kone Pro. According to the manufacturer, these switches should even achieve at least 100 million clicks.
Ergonomics: The Roccat Kone Pure Ultra generally fits better in the hand than the Kone Pro. This is mainly due to the stronger indentation for the thumb on the left side and the slightly oval shape.
The Kone Pure Ultra also offers two DPI buttons on the top unlike the Kone Pro, which completely lacks these. A workaround is to program one of the thumb buttons of the Kone Pro as a DPI button.
Haptics: Both mice are on par. Both the Kone Pro and the Pure Ultra forego a rubberized grip and opt for a pleasant plastic housing under the hand.
The palm fits comfortably on both mice. The thumb buttons and the scroll wheel are also easily reachable on both mice.
In palm grip and claw grip, the mice are easy to hold. However, smaller hands may have trouble controlling the mouse in fingertip grip, as the mouse is quite large.
Slide quality: Both the Kone Pure Ultra and the Kone Pro (Air) feature two large gliding feet on the back of the mouse. These feet ensure good glide on our mousepad and on other smooth surfaces.
Mouse buttons and scroll wheel: The scroll wheel of the Kone Pro is more textured and thus feels grippier than that of the Pure Ultra. The scroll wheel also feels more premium and precise on the Kone Pro. It remains a two-way scroll wheel (forward and backward). With the buttons, Roccat uses its own development with Titan switches:
While the buttons of the Pure Ultra sound higher, the clicks of the Kone Pro sound more muffled and thus quieter. This way, the buttons are also significantly quieter than those of the Burst Pro, where Titan switches are also used.
The buttons of the Kone Pro are even more precise than those of the already good Pure Ultra buttons. In the Enotus mouse test, the Kone Pro is just ahead of the Pure Ultra with 0.6 percent at the same DPI and speed.
There is no debounce delay on the buttons thanks to the optical technology. Debounce delay refers to how long the mouse takes to register the next click. This means that every click is recognized immediately.
Kone Pure UltraKone Pro
Macro functions: The “Kone Pro” models do not offer DPI buttons on the top area near the index finger like the Kone Pro Ultra does. Instead, there is a profile switch button on the back.
The Kone Pro also supports Easy-Shift. With Easy-Shift, all buttons of the mouse can be double-assigned. This way, for example, one of the thumb buttons can be repurposed as a DPI button. Creating macros for the buttons is simple and straightforward.
Kone Pro or Kone Pure Ultra – which mouse is better?
If you compare the two mice theoretically and in practical application, the Kone Pro is either slightly or significantly ahead of the Kone Pure Ultra. In terms of processing, the Kone Pro has made a significant step forward, while we notice hardly any differences in precision. The clicks on the Kone Pro are unusual, but they do not seem less precise to us.
However, we prefer the Pure Ultra in terms of ergonomics compared to the Kone Pro. The Pure Ultra is not only slightly smaller, but we also find the thumb rest better since our thumb feels more comfortable here. The DPI buttons are also a point in favor of the Pure Ultra.
Overall, the Kone Pro represents a significant improvement over the Kone Pure Ultra in our hands.

Conclusion – A strong alternative to the Kone Pure Ultra
Who is the mouse suitable for? The Roccat Kone Pro is aimed at all gamers looking for a very lightweight mouse with few buttons for right-handers.
For 80 euros, you get a really good mouse from Roccat, although it is also slightly more expensive than the competition, which offers similar features. You can already get Razer’s Deathadder V2 for around 55 euros. This also offers an ergonomic design, similar many buttons, and has a comparably good sensor. However, at 82 grams, the Deathadder V2 is significantly heavier than the Roccat Kone Pro.

The Kone Pro and Kone Pro Wireless hardly differ from each other. If you can forgo wireless capability, the Kone Pro with its lower weight (66 grams vs 75 grams) is the better choice.
However, the mouse is not suitable for everyone: If you primarily play MMOs or need many buttons, the Kone Pro is less suitable for you.
The competition for the Kone Pro (Air), from left: Roccat Burst Pro, Razer Viper, Roccat Kone Pro, and Roccat Kone Pure Ultra.
Why you should consider the Kone Pro Air: For 130 euros, the Roccat Kone Pro Air is worth a recommendation. The competition emphasizes ambidextrous mice in the lightweight category, such as the Razer Viper Ultimate or the Logitech G Pro X Superlight. A wireless ergonomic alternative would be the Deathadder V2 Pro. However, the Deathadder weighs 88 grams, which is significantly more than the Kone Pro Air, and uses Micro-USB, while Roccat uses USB-C.
If you’re looking for an ergonomic, wireless, and lightweight gaming mouse, there’s hardly any way around Roccat’s new Kone Pro Air.
Oops, unfortunately this affiliate widget is no longer available.
If you already own Roccat’s Kone Pure Ultra or Burst Pro, then repurchasing is not worthwhile unless you absolutely want the better sensor or the wireless capability of the Air version.
What alternatives are there?
The Roccat Burst Pro offers a slightly weaker sensor and weighs two grams more. Both have similar durability, but the Burst Pro is only wired. The Burst Pro also lacks the ergonomic shape of the Kone Pro.
Razer Viper: Razer’s mouse has a highly precise sensor and is slightly heavier. The construction of the standard Viper does not seem as premium as that of Roccat. The Razer Viper Ultimate is the wireless version of the Viper, which is considerably more expensive than the Pro Air, but seems better made and includes a docking station.
Logitech G Pro Wireless/ Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT: Logitech’s gaming mouse offers premium construction and allows side swapping. The mouse is also symmetrical and suitable for both left and right-handed users.

The Twitch streamer Cody “Clix” Conrod is only 16, but he is already one of the biggest streamers of Fortnite. But now Epic Games wants to discipline him: They have taken away his creator code and also his maps. Now the 16-year-old promises to behave.
This is Clix: The 16-year-old American Clix has long dreamed of a career in Fortnite. At just 14 years old, he earned enough money with the shooter to buy a magnificent $6000 gaming PC.
Clix has already earned $276,768 in esports for Fortnite: 18th place at the Fortnite World Cup 2019 alone brought him $125,000.
Nowadays, Clix is one of the biggest Twitch streamers for Fortnite. When he streams Fortnite on Twitch, about 28,000 people watch him.
This is what he did: But Clix has also done some things in recent years that Epic Games apparently views critically. After all, Clix represents a piece of Fortnite and what the game is supposed to stand for:
Epic Games meets Twitch streamer in fame and money
This is how Epic Games is now educating him: At Fortnite developer Epic Games, it seems they have discovered a pedagogical side:
First, Epic Games issued a clear warning to Clix to refrain from money betting
After the toilet incident, Epic banned the young star’s creator code and thus access to real cash, because when Clix’s fans buy in the Fortnite cash shop, 5% goes into the streamer’s pockets
On May 15, Clix’s dedicated creator cards in Fortnite were even blocked. The map creator Pandvil was told that he had to remove the name “Clix” from his cards, otherwise they would no longer be featured in Fortnite. Apparently, they did not want to see the name “Clix” in the game anymore

The loot shooter Outriders frustrates its players with too little legendary loot. As the chance for the coveted legendaries is so low that even at higher difficulty levels there is not enough loot, some players have turned to cheats to increase the drop rate.
What is happening in Outriders right now? Loot is the be-all and end-all of a loot shooter, and the shooter hit Outriders offers its players too little loot, they find. It specifically concerns the coveted items of the “legendary” rarity tier. These were even provided unrequested for players who never had legendaries, but in general, these items are extremely rare.
Players desperately try to acquire these items in “Expeditions”, the endgame content of Outriders. However, only at the highest “Challenge Tiers” (difficulty levels) 14 and 15 can you find such an item relatively frequently. And even there, it may happen that you often come away empty-handed and only receive relatively useless loot for your efforts.
Players only want loot and are reluctantly turning to cheats
What are the consequences of this loot scarcity? Loot shooters motivate their players with the prospect of rich loot to repeatedly scour the same missions and areas. But when you only rarely get really good items, this motivation quickly turns into frustration. Especially when you need certain items to complete sets.
In Outriders, nothing has been changed for a long time regarding the loot drop rate for legendaries. Furthermore, the developers have a reputation in the community for not having the best communication with the player base. Therefore, some players are reluctantly taking matters into their own hands.
What are players doing against the drought of loot? Posts are increasingly appearing on reddit and elsewhere that offer so-called “trainers.” These are cheat programs that increase the chances of good loot. Compared to more severe cheats, which flatten your enemies immediately or deliver any loot item directly to you, these trainers are still relatively harmless.
They only increase the drop chance for legendary items in expeditions. You then receive a legendary item for every elite enemy in an expedition. Nevertheless, using such trainers is cheating, and even though Outriders does not have a competitive PvP mode where such cheats would be an advantage, cheating is still not advisable. The risk of a ban and the loss of all progress is ultimately too great.
Too little legendary loot is, by the way, the lesser evil for Outriders veterans. Because a particularly nasty bug caused the entire inventory to disappear, causing immense frustration. What this bug was all about and how the situation ultimately turns out can be found here in another news article about the co-op shooter hit Outriders on MeinMMO.

In Fortnite: Battle Royale Season 6 has started, but some of the exotic weapons have disappeared. Nevertheless, there are still 6 to be found in this season. We will show you their locations and whether they are worth it for you.
Update May 17, 2021: We have added the weapons Grappler Bow, unstable bow, and sharpshooter’s pistol to the list of exotic weapons for Season 6. In addition, we have removed the shotgun “The dub” from the list, as it is no longer available in the game. The list is up to date with the latest update 16.40.
What are exotic weapons? Exotic weapons are guns that each have a special function and can only be purchased from NPCs. In Season 5 there was a larger selection of exotic weapons, which has now been reduced in the new season.
Since you can only obtain the weapons from certain NPCs, you also need to know their locations. These have changed in Season 6. We will show you here where you can find the exotic weapons now on the Season 6 map. Furthermore, we will introduce them to you in more detail and for whom they are worth it.
Find 6 exotic weapons in Season 6
The exotic weapons are now located at these 6 different places Image source: fortnite.gg
On the map, you can see where the guns are located. However, we will take a closer look at the locations, values, advantages, and disadvantages of each weapon.
Exotic Weapon “Shadow Tracker” Pistol
Here you can find the weapon: The Tracker Pistol can be found with Power Chord in the Apres-Ski hut. Just enter the building and walk towards the speech bubble – it is often found near the dance floor. If you want to buy the exotic pistol, you need to pay 400 Bars.
This is what the “Shadow Tracker” Pistol can do: At first glance, the pistol does not deal a lot of damage, but its special features make it strong nonetheless. When you hit opponents, they will be marked for you and your teammates – giving you a clear advantage as you can always keep an eye on them. Because even if the opponent disappears behind a wall after being hit, their location will be shown to you for 10 seconds. Furthermore, the shots from the pistol are silent, as it is equipped with a suppressor.
This is how much damage the Tracker Pistol deals:
Body: 29
Head: 58
DPS: 195.75
Magazine size: 16
The pistol is worth it for you if you are accurate, as it does not deal much damage per hit. Additionally, it offers the advantage of marking, making it a worthwhile weapon and since it is silent, you can sneak up on enemies more easily.
Shadow Tracker
Exotic Weapon “Chug Cannon”
Here you can find the “weapon”: You can get the Chug Cannon from Slurp Jonesy, who is located in Slurpy Swamps. Go to the large Slurp factory, which is located northeast of the place. However, you need to give 600 Bars for the cannon.
If you’re interested in more about Fortniteyou might also find this interesting:
This is what the “Chug Cannon” can do: The cannon is not actually a real “weapon”, but it is very useful for combat. Instead of dealing damage, it can heal you and your teammates.
Heals for 18 health/shield
Does not require ammunition
Has a cooldown time until you can use it again
The Chug Cannon may be worth it for you if you want a healing item that can be used repeatedly. However, keep in mind that the cannon takes up 2 inventory slots – leaving you less space for other important items.
Chug Cannon
Exotic Weapon “Hop Rock Dualies”
Here you can find the dual pistol: You can get the “Hop Rock Dualies” from Gutbomb. He is located in Logjam Lumberyard and walks around behind the counter in the burger restaurant. Talk to him and pay 500 Bars to get the dual pistol.
This is what the pistol can do: The “Hop Rock” functions like the dual pistol – firing from both pistols simultaneously. However, with this exotic weapon you also have the “Hop Rock” effect, which allows you to jump a little higher and prevents fall damage.
This is how much damage the weapon deals:
Body: 43
Head: 70
DPS: 170
Magazine size: 18
This weapon is especially worthwhile for players who are accurate and find themselves often in building battles. You can not only quickly secure eliminations with it but also prevent fall damage.
Hop Rock Dualies
Exotic Weapon “Grappler Bow”
Here you can find the weapon: You can buy the Grappler Bow from the character Lara Croft. She is located in the middle of Stealthy Stronghold and walks through the jungle there. If you want to buy the bow, you need to pay 500 Gold Bars for it.
This is what the exotic bow can do: The special feature of this weapon is that it has a grappling hook which you can attach to various surfaces. By grappling, you will be pulled to the hook at a faster speed. So you can not only create distance between you and your opponents, but also perform cool tricks with it.
This is how much damage the Grappler Bow deals:
Body: 89
Head: 222.5
DPS: 89
Magazine size: 1
If you are looking for a weapon that allows you to perform cool tricks, then the Grappler Bow is worth it for you. If you are accurate, you can also pull enemies towards you with the bow and quickly finish them off with a shotgun.
The Grappler Bow
Exotic Weapon “Instabile Bow”
Here you can find the bow: You can get the “Instabile Bow” from Rebirth Raven. She is located northwest of Sweaty Sands on a hill. Talk to her and pay 500 Bars to get the special bow.
This is what the bow can do: The special feature of this unstable bow is that it transforms into a different bow after each shot. This exotic bow combines the versatile variants of previous options into a single weapon. This means you can essentially have a fire, bomb, poison, and shockwave bow at once without taking up four inventory slots.
This is how much damage the weapon deals:
Body: 89
Head: 222.5
DPS: 89
Magazine size: 1
The weapon is especially worthwhile for players who can play strongly with the bows in general. A constant switch between different bows could create confusion, which could then prove to be a disadvantage. But with the exotic bow, you always have 4 different bows available and only have to give up one slot in your inventory for it.
Instabile Bow
Exotic Weapon “Sharpshooter’s Pistol”
Here you can find the pistol: The newest exotic weapon can be obtained from the NPC “Deadfire”, who is located northwest of Lazy Lake in a sheriff’s office. If you pay the character 400 Gold Bars, the pistol will be yours.
This is what the weapon can do: The sharpshooter’s pistol can be used in 2 different ways. The pistol can be fired from the hip and is very fast in this way, but inaccurate. If you want to shoot accurately, you must aim – but this makes the weapon slower.
This is how much damage the pistol deals:
Body: 24
Head: 96
DPS: 120
Magazine size: 6
The exotic weapon is only strong if you land good headshots with it – which is actually unfavorable if you tend to shoot from the hip and likely miss more often. However, if you want a bit of variety, the weapon might still be worth it for you.
The Sharpshooter’s Pistol
If you want to add variety to your matches, you should look for these exotic weapons. It’s best to buy the ones that are worth it for you so you don’t waste Gold Bars.
If you’d rather try other weapons, you can now craft prehistoric weapons in Season 6. These can be crafted from hunted wild animals and also provide variety.

The last patch in Hearthstone was supposed to make everything better. But it didn’t. The community is dissatisfied like never before.
A few days ago, Hearthstone released a balance patch for the current expansion “Forged in the Barrens”. It adjusted more than a dozen cards. This was supposed to rein in overpowered classes and give weaker classes more options. The developers had described the changes beforehand as “spicy” – that is, quite drastic and effective.
Already after a short time it can be said: That was nothing. The dominant decks are stronger than ever and shamans remain in obscurity.
What did the patch achieve? Extremely little. Although the changes sounded largely good and sensible on paper, the actual impacts were minimal.
The Secret Paladin still has a solid win rate between 55% and 62% – depending on the rank played.
The Enforcer Warrior dominates, as does the Face Hunter.
Shamans, on the other hand, have fallen to a low of 44% and are thus at the bottom of all classes.
The community reacts: In the Hearthstone subreddit, the changes have been hotly debated since the patch day. Initially, there was only skepticism towards the adjustments, but this has now turned into outright dissatisfaction. The numbers also show that the changes had little to no impact on the meta (via hsreplay.net).
Accordingly, there are some memes and posts mocking the adjustments.

A user asks: “Why are paladins the best class in a BARRENS expansion?” He refers to the fact that the Barrens in World of Warcraft is actually a Horde area and the Horde originally had no paladins. It is a bit ironic that this non-Horde class is currently dominating.
Other players, however, have a clever response: “Because it was the paladins who always attacked the crossroads in WoW.”
Paladin spells are a problem: However, there are also serious discussions about the problems and solutions are being sought. Many players see the issue in the spell Conviction, which gives 3 random friendly minions +3 attack – for just 1 mana. This leads to some simple combinations where you can decide the match with 3 charge minions in one turn. Many see the spell as a “better charge”, and they wish for a nerf. +18 attack for 2 mana just seems too strong.

It seems clear from these overwhelming numbers that another patch will soon be necessary. With the current dominance of paladins and hunters, further adjustments are desired. Especially to bring the beleaguered shamans out of obscurity. They are currently languishing at the bottom of the popularity scale.
What do you think of the current state of Hearthstone? Do you agree with the comments on Reddit? Or are you satisfied with the current meta?
The new MMORPG Swords of Legends places a lot of importance on PvE content. PvP, on the other hand, is only available in specific arenas. For this, we were provided with exclusive first information and a trailer from the publisher Gameforge by MeinMMO.
What is there in the PvP of SOLO? Swords of Legends Online starts with 5 different PvP modes:
The duel battle, where you play in a 3v3 arena
The “Realm of the Five Elements” where 15v15 combat takes place
The “Fort Haizhou,” where players must hold a flag in the center of the map until they are the first to score 1,000 points. This mode is played 10v10.
In the “Fight in the Sand,” 10 players face off against 10 players. In this mode, one player per team transforms into a monster and must be healed. The first group to possess 3 runes wins.
The weapon brothers of the Emerald Clouds also engage in combat. This is a type of Battle Royale where you can gather loot, and the map shrinks over time.
However, some of these modes are only available at specific times. For example, the Battle Royale runs only on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM. The 3v3 arena, however, is permanently active.
A glimpse of the fast-paced PvP battles is offered by this trailer, which we have published on YouTube:

What about PvP in the open world? PvP in the open world also exists, but not just like that. It is called “Combat Frenzy” and must be unlocked first. However, this is only possible at max level.
Once “Combat Frenzy” is activated, you can attack other players who also have “Combat Frenzy” active without being punished for it. However, innocent players can also be killed, resulting in negative Qi. If you accumulate too much negative Qi, you will have to spend up to 8 game hours in prison.
Additionally, there is already a huge battlefield in China for 100v100 battles and new PvEvP areas.
SOLO is a theme park MMORPG with various PvP content
What does Swords of Legends offer? The new MMORPG from China primarily offers PvE content in the form of quests, a linear story, dungeons, and raids. However, as the various PvP modes show, fans of this content also get their share.
“Lord” Tachanka has always been a meme in Rainbow Six Siege. The operator is considered the weakest in the entire game, and even his rework hasn’t changed that much. However, after a recent buff, he seems to be quite acceptable – at least for a crazy YouTuber.
Who is the YouTuber? BikiniBodhi has been creating content about Rainbow Six for many years and is one of the largest and most well-known YouTubers for the game. His channel now has over 1.64 million subscribers.
With his videos, he provides guides and interesting info, such as about an important change to the reinforcements. However, completely absurd situations often come together – like in his latest video, which highlights the operator Tachanka.
This is how strong Tachanka is now: In his video, BikiniBodhi shows how he really clears out with Tachanka. The operator has a new gadget since his rework, allowing him to throw fire grenades.
These create a fire on the ground that deals damage to both enemies and allies. The gadget is actually meant to deny a certain area. However, Bodhi uses the fire zones in a completely different way.
He ignites an area and then just walks through. The enemies don’t expect someone to be so foolish and get taken out one by one. They apparently expect that the enemy wants to force them to take another path and are surprised. He even sends his teammates through the fire for kills. Bodhi himself says: “Dude, this works so often!”

He also uses the fire grenades to simply burn particularly pesky enemies like Blitz or Montagne. Both operators have a shield and are hard to hit – but are also quite slow.
Bodhi uses their lack of mobility to simply let them burn, sometimes sacrificing his teammates when they block the enemy. Still, this leads to victory.
Rainbow Six Siege: So seht ihr die Deutsche Liga
Alle Infos, Ankündigungen und Streaming-Pläne zur großen deutschsprachigen GSA-Liga.
This is the buff: Despite the rework, by the end of Season 4 of Year 5, Tachanka was one of the weakest operators. He received a significant buff with update Y6S1.3 (via GameStar).
Virtually everything Tachanka can do has been improved:
The capacity of his fire grenades has been increased
Projectiles fly further and faster
The detonation time has been reduced
Fire zones last longer and are larger
Tachanka’s main weapon can be equipped and unequipped faster
As it looks with BikiniBodhi, the buff has achieved the desired effect. However, Bodhi is also one of the best players overall. Don’t assume that you can now easily slaughter all enemies – it still takes practice.
What has changed about Tachanka? Originally, Tachanka did not have a grenade launcher but a machine gun with a shield and a stand. He could set up and dismantle the gun, but was extremely stationary and virtually immobile.
The rework came in 2020, after Tachanka had been at the absolute bottom of the statistics for a while. During that time, however, a certain fan base had already developed that did not want to see their beloved “Lord” changed.
