Why are prices in FUT 22 so low?
What are the reasons for the cheap prices? On reddit, the topic is currently being hotly discussed, and FIFA players are trying to figure out why the transfer market has such low prices.
Here are the most interesting theories, all based on the fact that FUT 22 players receive significantly more strong cards:
Many of the reasons mentioned above are likely responsible for the increased availability of strong cards on the transfer market, consequently causing prices to drop. We are curious to see how long this will continue and whether we can soon get Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappé at a bargain price.
What do you think about the prices on the FUT 22 transfer market? Have you treated yourself to some top cards yet? Let us know in the comments!

The transfer market in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team is going crazy, and really strong cards are cheaper than ever. But why are there so many bargains right now?
In recent years, top cards were always associated with high prices. If you wanted an 86-rated Pogba for your midfield in FIFA 21, you had to pay 233,000 coins shortly after the release.
In FIFA 22, Pogba (87), who is even one point stronger, currently costs only about 115,000 coins.
Pogba has increased in rating in FIFA 22 and still costs less than a year ago in FIFA 21.
The price drops are significant: The transfer market of FUT 22 is quite friendly to players’ budgets. Really strong cards are currently available at unusually low prices.
Here are some cards that have dropped in price since the release of FIFA 22 (as of 08.10.2021):
Haaland (88) cost 72,000 coins at release -> now 33,000 coins
Lukaku (88) cost 48,000 coins at release -> now 23,000 coins
Goretzka (87) cost 185,000 coins at release -> now 160,000 coins
Werner (84) cost 40,000 coins at release -> now 25,000 coins
Rashford (85) cost 155,000 coins at release -> now 120,000 coins
Lewandowski (92) cost 57,000 coins at release -> now 41,000 coins
A rapid price drop for many cards that is likely to please FUT players. Now many more players can afford top cards.
It was different in FIFA 21: In the last FIFA installment, the situation was quite different; strong cards had relatively high prices at the beginning. We show you the values of top cards from back then (7 days after the release of FIFA 21) and compare them with the cards from FIFA 22 (7 days after the release of FIFA 22).
Keep in mind that not all cards have the same values in both installments. However, they are comparable and differ at most by one point in overall rating.

The Twitch streamer Katiyln “Amouranth” Siragusa (27) is the most successful streamer on Twitch. She says: She has now been banned from Twitch, Instagram, and TikTok. But that’s not a big deal. She has over ten million US dollars, maybe she will just retire.
Amouranth has been banned multiple times on Twitch: The current ban is her fifth. In June 2021, she was banned for an “ASMR” stream: She licked microphones. Because she presented her butt to the camera while doing so, she received a ban. That is prohibited. In the meantime, there have been bizarre appearances from her, where she frolicked on the bed wearing a bird mask.
She doesn’t mention the reasons for her new ban. She says: After her bird mask debacle, she has been tame.
How long does the Twitch ban last? The duration of the ban is unknown, just like the reason. Neither Twitch nor Amouranth have revealed details about the ban.
Initial hints suggest, however, that this ban on Twitch is only temporary. Because Amouranth remains a Twitch partner. In the case of a permanent ban, such as with Indiefoxx, the partner status is usually removed.
“Priests say: I perform God’s work”
This is what Amouranth says about the reasons for the ban: Amouranth says in an ironic YouTube video that she can’t explain the ban at all. In recent streams, she has been unusually tame.
She has received many messages from priests who told her that she inspires their Christian work and performs God’s work. Therefore, she also plans to make a “nun” video.
She points out, however, that the Twitch leak has revealed how terribly underpaid she is and hopes that when she returns to Twitch, donations will flow in.
“Maybe I will just be an anonymous ten-time millionaire”
This is what she says somewhat seriously: The “art character” Amouranth is quite a troll, regularly making fun of her own image and behavior as a “half-naked E-Girl”.
Besides this “art character”, the streamer runs a private Twitch account. There, she sounds very different. There she says about her ban: It feels bizarre to be thrown off “all platforms”. She has so much energy but no platform.

Diablo 2 Resurrected is experiencing server issues on Sunday, October 10, 2021: The servers are apparently offline. Many players can no longer find their online characters. Blizzard has already commented on this.
What’s going on? Currently, numerous players are reporting login issues in Diablo 2 Resurrected. Apparently, many online characters have disappeared.
These problems have apparently been ongoing for over an hour, and Blizzard last tweeted at 15:06. They are investigating the issue, but there are no details available.
Update, October 10, 19:00: It seems the problem was temporarily resolved, but issues have apparently reappeared. Blizzard has spoken: “We are currently investigating reports of login issues.” (via Twitter)

Character Not Showing – What Now?
This is the problem: When the servers are offline, players cannot access their online characters.
Are the characters deleted? No. Once the servers are back online, you should be able to continue playing with them. Currently, you just can’t see them because they are stored on the servers and are not displayed without a connection.
However, under Blizzard’s statement, some players are already complaining, especially those who usually only have time to play Diablo 2 on weekends. Some are now also worried that their character could completely disappear.
It’s certainly frustrating, as many were probably looking forward to some rounds of Diablo 2 Resurrected in online mode this Sunday afternoon.
Here’s how to workaround the issue: Blizzard advised not to give online and offline characters the same name.
However, Blizzard has not stated what the situation is with the missing characters after the fix. It is therefore still unknown whether you will get them back or not.

In the Open Beta of Battlefield 2042, numerous technical shortcomings occurred. In the subreddit for Battlefield 2042, developer DICE has already addressed some issues and mentioned fixes before the release.
While many testers had a lot of fun in the Open Beta of Battlefield 2042, there were still numerous complaints about technical flaws, bugs, and errors.
In the subreddit for Battlefield 2042, F8RGE responded to numerous questions about specific errors and tried to reassure them: The beta build of Battlefield 2042 is several months old (via reddit.com), many of the known issues have already been fixed or are expected to be addressed by the release.
The reddit user peanutmanak47 (via reddit.com) has now compiled several of these responses and presented an overview of the announced fixes. Here are 7 issues from the beta that are expected to be resolved by launch.
1. Elevators will function properly
What is the problem? In the beta, it was difficult to find a properly functioning elevator. The doors did not close correctly, were delayed, or one could simply walk through them.
Overall, elevators on the Orbital map were frequently bugged, as this clip shows:

However, elevators are expected to function properly by the release, and these errors should be a thing of the past.
2. Score distribution should function correctly
What is the problem? Normally, in a Battlefield match, you receive points not only for kills or capturing points but also for other things that benefit the team. These include, among others:
Healing team members
Providing ammunition
Transport assists
Spawning team members at your location
However, in the beta of Battlefield 2042, this is not the case. This should also be functioning by the release, allowing players to earn their deserved support points.
3. Reviving and picking up weapons
What is the problem? Especially in the PC version, it often happened that you could not revive other players or pick up weapons.
The input with “E” is sometimes simply not registered by the game. This is particularly frustrating in a match when you want to revive other team members in the heat of battle, and it just doesn’t work.
By release, this input is expected to work seamlessly.
4. Bunny hopping and sliding should be toned down
What is the problem? In the beta of Battlefield 2042, currently, two methods of movement are very popular, but they were not intended by the developers:
One example is a 23-year-old shooter trick, bunny hopping. Players use repeated jumping in combination with grappling hooks to move quickly around the map and gain an advantage in combat.
Sliding has a similar effect. It makes players faster than just sprinting and can provide a significant chance bonus in fights against unprepared opponents.
Apparently, DICE is working on restricting both and redesigning them to have less impact on gameplay.
5. Weapon and soldier customization should work in the menu
What is the problem? In Battlefield 2042, you can customize your specialists with various weapons and gadgets. Unfortunately, in the beta, this was only possible in the middle of a match.
In the final game, you should be able to access and customize your soldiers directly from the main menu, just like in previous installments.
6. FPS drop when aiming down sights will be fixed
What is the problem? A player noticed in the beta that the frame rate drops when aiming through the sights of a weapon. (via reddit.com)
The curious problem does not only occur when aiming. In the video, you can see how his FPS drop from 60 to around 45 just because he draws a weapon with a sight. While aiming, FPS drops even further, from 45 to as low as 19 FPS.
This issue has already been fixed by DICE, but the fix did not make it into the beta.
More interesting information: In addition to these fixes, DICE also commented on several other matters during the beta, such as the issue of animations.
Additionally, the animations for getting into vehicles, which were present in Battlefield V, have been deliberately omitted. It fit the setting of BFV, but for BF2042, they opted for a faster version. There is simply no animation so that players can drive as quickly as possible.
How is the beta of Battlefield 2042 received? Shortly after the beta launch, we started a survey to gather your opinions on the Open Beta. The survey had mixed results: Here you can find the summary of the results and other opinions.

On November 1, 2021, the new Update 32 Deadlands for the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online will be released. The major topics are proc set balance, a hard cap on critical damage, and the continued hybridization of gear sets, which was already started in the previous update. MeinMMO shows you the most important changes and explains what they mean for you and your group.
The next update will bring many changes, especially affecting the endgame. Raid groups will need to make changes to their group setup after release. Here you will find out in advance what to expect.
[toc]
ESO gets a hard cap of 125% on critical damage
Due to a number of gear sets added in recent years, the potential value for critical damage has increased significantly. To ensure that other stats gain more importance again, the developers have decided to introduce a hard cap of 125% on critical damage.
This primarily impacts PvE endgame content. In trials, several sets or skills within the group have been used that increase critical damage in some form. With a hard cap, some of the buffs and debuffs achieved so far will become unnecessary.
There will be a significant meta change concerning raid groups, and the equipment setup will look significantly different than before.
Here is an overview of previous sources to increase critical damage:
That means some slots for sets, buffs, champion points, or abilities will be eliminated. These will be replaced by others within groups to increase group damage.
Hybridization of all item sets
The hybridization refers to the attributes of stamina and magicka. All sets in the game will be adjusted according to the following rules:
Sets that grant magicka OR weapon power will in the future grant both.
Sets that grant physical penetration OR magic penetration will in the future grant both.
Sets that grant critical magic OR weapon hits will in the future grant both.
The rationale behind this is that players will have a freer choice of equipment based on the principle of “play the way you want”.
Proc sets will be able to critically hit again
More specifically, sets that scale with magic & weapon damage, maximum stamina, and maximum magicka will be able to critically hit again. Item sets that scale differently (e.g., cumulatively) will not be able to critically hit. The scaling of the sets that will be able to critically hit again will also be reduced by about 5%.
These are the item sets that will be affected by the changes and will be able to critically hit again:

Burst Sets get a global cooldown
Item sets that deal burst damage within 4 seconds will receive a global cooldown of 1 second. This means that sets whose burst damage works the same cannot be activated simultaneously.
If a player is still wearing multiple sets with this mechanism in the future, the first applied set will be triggered first. After 1 second, another effect of this type can be triggered.
The only sets that are not affected are sets with counter chances, with cooldowns of 1 second or without cooldown.
This change could particularly impact small-scale PvP. This means in player fights of smaller groups, battlegrounds, or duels.
So-called gank builds will be particularly affected. These are builds that aim to deal massive (proc) damage in the shortest time possible, making it seem as though an opposing player is defeated with a single hit. However, various damage effects are visible in the death recap.
Here is a list of item sets affected by the changes:
Additionally, the next update will also make minor adjustments. Some of these will have major impacts on specific combat situations.
The Vampire’s Mist form will now only reduce damage from attacks by other players. This targets the developer team’s efforts against the use of this damage-negating ability for many situations in PvE content.
Here is the comment from the developers:
“This ability has become increasingly popular as a one-size-fits-all solution to many different challenges in PvE that were actually meant to require specific strategies from players. As a result, many situations have become completely trivialized, or it has sometimes given the impression that one must necessarily be a vampire to handle certain content. “Mist Form” is actually intended to escape fights. However, the previous version allows it too easily to remain steadfast in PvE or become invincible. Therefore, we are limiting the damage reduction to PvP, to continue offering this option while simultaneously making its use as a defensive tool in PvE impossible.”
This will have a significant impact on the latest raid content. The ability has been increasingly used in the newest raid Felshain. Healers, DDs, and even tanks currently use it against massive damage from the second boss Bahsei or his mechanics.
With this change to the ability, its use in PvE will become unviable. Many raid groups will also be forced to adjust their builds in this regard.

In Destiny 2, Twitch streamer Datto has now offered money if someone at Bungie works overtime to adjust the balance. In fact, this is already in the works. The Hunter ability “Shatterdive” is set to be nerfed in a patch. The update is scheduled for December 7.
This is what the Twitch streamer wrote: Currently, the Trials of Osiris are running again in Destiny 2. This brings frustration in PvP. The well-known Destiny 2 streamer Datto wrote on Friday, October 8:
“Dear whoever is responsible, If you work this weekend to nerf this crap Shatter Dive, I will pay you 1.5 times your salary. If you patch it out of the game, I will pay you double!”
Datto
So Bungie responded: Game designer Kevin Yanes responded and said: Shatterdive will be nerfed with the patch for Bungie’s 30th anniversary, along with some other abilities.
They want to shift the PvP in Destiny 2 back towards gunplay.
To this end, Yanes posted a meme from Game of Thrones, where someone is shouting: “I claim the salt throne for myself.”
This seems to imply: Enough tears have been shed over Shatterdive.
After that, Yanes turned back to his new passion: Metroid Dread. He later even said: He had violated his own rule “No news, just memes” and is now responsible for amplifying “dumb news articles.”
What is Shatterdive about? The ability “Shatterdive” is one of the Stasis abilities of the Hunter. The ability can be activated in the air, causing the Hunter to dive down and deal damage to all targets in a certain radius.
“Shatterdive” is considered an “insta-kill” ability that provides little chance to counter it.
When is the patch expected? The “30th Anniversary Patch” for Destiny 2 is scheduled for December 7, 2021, so it is still quite a while away.
Apparently, Bungie wants to change some “abilities” in PvP with the patch to steer the game more towards “weapons.”
This is being discussed: On Reddit, many believe that Shatterdive is too strong in its current form – but only in PvP. In PvE, the damage is acceptable and should remain as is. Overall, the balance in PvP, especially that of the Stasis abilities, is seen critically.
YouTuber and Twitch streamer Datto is considered one of the most important content creators for Destiny 2:
The new shooter Back 4 Blood issues a warning to content creators. The warning is apparently aimed primarily at streamers on Twitch. Developer Turtle Rock does not have streaming rights to the music used. Therefore, streamers should be cautious when broadcasting the game.
This is what Back 4 Blood says: An employee of Turtle Rock responsible for communication and influencers warns content creators via Twitter (via twitter):
“Attention content creators. If you bring Back 4 Blood as a video on demand, this is important: The jukebox has copyrighted music that plays when you use it. We do not have the streaming rights to the songs played there, so make sure to turn off the music when interacting with the jukebox.”
Alissa Barry
The music industry is really stressing Twitch since COVID
What is the problem? Turtle Rock does not explicitly address Twitch users, but it is clear that the warning is mainly directed at streamers on the largest streaming platform.
For a long time, copyrighted music was approached lightly on Twitch. Although it was officially forbidden to play music that the streamer does not own rights to, it remained without consequences for years.
During the COVID crisis, however, music publishers lost revenue from concerts and tours, and they discovered that their copyrighted music was being used by streamers on Twitch. They started hitting Twitch with copyright strikes if music was heard in videos. Twitch forwarded these strikes to streamers as warnings and deleted the corresponding clips because they were legally obligated to do so.
Meanwhile, there is an agreement with the music industry that streamers are “safer” and do not have to fear an immediate ban. Nevertheless, one should avoid transmitting copyrighted music.
Since last year, the video game industry has also become sensitive to the fact that the soundtracks of their games often contain copyrighted music that cannot simply be used on Twitch.
This could be the solution: Other games have now released a “streamer mode”. This mutes all copyrighted music in a game, so the streamer can show the game without fear of strikes.
For Back 4 Blood, it is said that they are currently working on such a stream mode. Until then, it seems to be: Be cautious with streaming.
When the discussion was relevant in 2020, the release of Cyberpunk 2077 was imminent and Twitch itself gave advice:
The new MMO New World has been very successful on Steam. This has also caught the attention of the creators of other online games, such as the Creative Director of Elder Scrolls Online. Rich Lambert, however, believes that the success of New World is actually quite good, both for players and for his game.
In an interview with the Washington Post, the Creative Director of ESO, Rich Lambert, spoke about his own game as well as the success of New World. He also explained what makes a good MMO.
Competition is “good for the consumer”
This is what the creator of ESO says: The conversation was actually about the upcoming ESO expansion Deadlands. However, Lambert also touched upon the new MMO New World and its success. When asked what he thinks about it, Lambert replied:
“First of all: Competition is good. Healthy. Good for the consumer. The second you stop feeling like you need to prove yourself and improve your product is the second it starts to go downhill.
That’s why I think [the success of New World] is fantastic and we need more successful games in the genre to earn the trust of the players. To shake things up a bit, get the creative juices flowing, and all that.”
How do ESO and other MMORPGs become better because of this? Lambert explains that the success of an MMO depends on giving the community what they want. A look at a strong competitor can provide insight into what is currently well-received.
The conversation touches on Final Fantasy XIV, which recently received a surge of new players. Lambert says: “They generally do a lot right. They know what game they want to be. They embrace that. And the fans who want exactly that kind of game know where to find it.”
MeinMMO editor Gerd Schuhmann explains in his column why the success of New World should be an inspiration for other MMOs:
What makes a good MMO? For an MMO to be good, the development teams need to understand their community and give them what they want. That is what makes a good game. That and showing that you are constantly working to improve everything.
For ESO, this means working more on the story. According to Lambert, players are currently most interested in that – or at least that is the team’s assessment. Therefore, two of the 4 annual updates focus on the story of ESO.
New World also seems to be on a good path here. Currently, there is a need to play with friends or a familiar group. This was hardly possible due to the full servers at launch, and many groups fell apart.
What’s next for ESO and New World? New World is currently working to fix the release issues and correct the errors. Some players have already reached the level cap, but most are still on their way there.
ESO, on the other hand, is working on the finale of the current expansion. With Deadlands, the story surrounding the deaths of Oblivion will conclude – and fans will once again face the major villain Mehrunes Dagon, whom they will confront in his own realm this time. In our hub on MeinMMO, you will find all the information about it:
Riot Games has excluded LoL player Chien “Maoan” Mao-An (18) from the LoL Worlds 2021. The Taiwanese is the midlaner for the team “Beyond Gaming.” He is accused of leaking sensitive information and thereby jeopardizing the integrity of eSports. His career in League of Legends seems over.
This is the situation:
Currently, the LoL Worlds 2021 are taking place in Iceland: In the play-ins, teams from smaller regions like Taiwan are also playing, including the team “Beyond Gaming.” They have now won an important series against Galatasary Esports and had the chance to qualify for the main event.
Especially in Asia, there is a lively betting market for League of Legends. You can bet on everything there, apparently even on which champions a team will pick.
The midlaner of Beyond Gaming is said to have leaked information about the champions his team selects. Consequently, he was banned from the Worlds and fired from his team. They lost without him and were eliminated.
Riot Games excludes 18-year-old from the World Championship
What did Maoan do? Riot Games says:
They have definitive evidence that Maoan leaked “insider information” to a friend to bet on a match at the LoL Worlds.
Therefore, he has been excluded from the remaining matches of the LoL Worlds and further penalties may follow after an investigation.

Player allegedly leaked information about his team’s lineup
What other sources say: There are reports that elaborate on this scant message from Riot Games (via twitter).
Leaked screenshots apparently show that Maoan revealed his team’s “champion picks” ahead of the match at the LoL Worlds to an unknown person. He is said to have said: “Sylas and Orianna, but don’t buy too much, it’s just a high chance.”
These screenshots were leaked. The head of Maoan’s team, Beyond Gaming, then spoke with Maoan, who admitted his mistake – the head then informed Riot.
The team leader believes: The screenshot was leaked because Maoan’s information was incorrect. The team played neither Sylas nor Orianna against Galatasaray. The leader suspects: That is why the leaker apparently lost money on his bet, became angry, and released the screenshot.
Player banned just before the most important match of his career and then fired
What makes this story so tragic: The match that was bet on was likely the most important match in Maoan’s career. His team Beyond Gaming narrowly defeated Galatasary Esports in a thrilling KO series with 3-2. They even accomplished a “reverse sweep,” coming back from 0-2 to win 3-2:

After the victory against Galatasaray, Beyond Gaming had the chance to play against Hawnha Life, the “Church of Chovy.” The winner of the match advanced to the main round of the LoL Worlds 2021.
But because Maoan was banned, Beyond Gaming had to put an inexperienced top laner in the mid lane, who then also played out of position – and that against Chovy, one of the best mid laners in the world.
The stand-in player went 3/14/10. Beyond Gaming lost hopelessly 0-3.
Furthermore, it is said that the owner of Beyond Gaming announced in a stream that Maoan would be fired.
Who has now qualified for the main round? Without Beyond Gaming, the favorites have advanced:
LNG Esports – from China
Hamwha Life Esports – from South Korea
Cloud 9 from the USA with Perkz
Detontation Focus Me – from Japan
It is striking how few Americans are participating in the LoL Worlds 2021:

I do not play the Beta (12%, 428 votes)
Not good at all (11%, 411 votes)
Therefore, 41% of you found the Beta good or better, while 24% rated it not good or really bad. Nevertheless, one can say it’s a mixed result, as 23% are somewhere in between.
This is also reflected in our comments. For example, Phinphin’s impression is “rather mixed. Many great new ideas like the climbing and descending, the specialists, and various smaller ‘levelution elements’ on the map.”
However, he mentions several criticisms such as bugs, spawn points, missing features, and confusing menus. “The Beta convinced me to wait with the purchase.”
Melimik adds: “So it’s fun, but somehow the movement bothers me a lot. Feeling quicker when sliding seems more like CoD to me rather than BF. Otherwise, the performance on the PS5 is terrible, […] it definitely ruins the fun of the game.”
Tim also struggled with technical problems: “Almost nothing worked in the Beta, not even spawning worked and the graphics were rather meh. […] Honestly, the Beta was really sad, it was more of an Alpha test than anything else.”
Klabauter, on the other hand, had quite a bit of fun with the Beta: “I think it’s great that you can change attachments on the fly. I also like the operators [specialists].” However, he criticizes that it’s difficult to orient oneself on the map. He refers to it as the CoD syndrome – due to the smaller maps. “But you have to play BF like BF and not like CoD. Then it’s fun. Team play is super important.”
The votes reflect the survey: There are positive aspects and Battlefield 2042 is fun for many people, but there is a long list of deficiencies, and the implementation of some elements is questionable.
This is how Battlefield 2042 comes across after the Beta: While our impression is mixed, but tends towards the positive, it looks different in the subreddit of Battlefield 2042.
By now, there are quite a few posts there that leave hardly a good word about the Beta. Some players even fear that the release of Battlefield 2042 could become another case like Cyberpunk 2077. (via reddit)
What happened back then with Cyberpunk 2077? It was one of the biggest game releases of the last few years, which subsequently went very wrong, especially due to massive technical flaws in the PS4 and Xbox One versions. It went as far as leading to a lawsuit against the developer CD Project RED.
Since then, many games have this horror scenario in mind and hope that Battlefield 2042 will postpone its release. Because the technical deficiencies are definitely present and also MeinMMO author Benedict noticed in his first drive.
Now heated debates are being conducted about whether the shooter will be postponed or not and who is to blame for the situation. Players debated who is responsible, the publisher Electronic Arts or the developer DICE.
A significant point of criticism is also missing features that a player compiled from older Battlefield installments in a video. The clip went viral in the subreddit with over 18,000 upvotes and received over 2000 comments.

Industry insider Tom Henderson has also commented multiple times on the technical state of the Beta and wishes for a postponement of the release:
The biggest plus I can give the Battlefield 2042 Beta is that EVERYTHING is there to make this game absolutely outstanding. The movement, the gameplay, the destruction, the weather, etc. are all great. But in my opinion, it just needs more time.
Other shooter experts such as SkillUp agree with this (via Twitter). EA’s statement that the Beta build is several months old does not comfort many people either.
What is the conclusion? Even though there are many negative voices regarding the Open Beta, our survey shows: A large part of the players had a lot of fun in the Beta, despite technical flaws, for example with destroying the rocket. Experience shows that negative voices are always louder than positive ones.
Those who are satisfied have no reason to announce it on the internet. Therefore, it is hard to say how negatively the Beta was actually received. It is certain that the technical problems of the Open Beta were numerous and are a cause for concern for many players.
Whether EA’s statement about the Beta build will ultimately prove true and the release version of Battlefield 2042 will be in a better technical state remains to be seen. After the Beta, many players are rather discouraged and concerned.
When will Battlefield 2042 be released? The shooter is set to be released on November 19, 2021, for PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4.
What about you? What experiences did you have with the Beta of Battlefield 2042? What do you think of the players’ reactions and the results of the survey? Let us know in the comments.

The Twitch leak from last week is sprouting new blooms: Now a list is circulating with some streamers who apparently enjoy special treatment. People like Ricegum and Tyler1 (League of Legends) cannot simply be banned, but only after consultation. The German channel “Rocket Beans TV” also appears on the list with a special regulation for two days. However, it seems that the list is already several years old.
This is the situation:
On Wednesday, October 6th, there was a major leak about Twitch. Unknown individuals posted 125 GB of sensitive data from Twitch online, including a list of streamers, who receive the most money from Twitch.
In recent days, more and more of this sensitive data is being evaluated: This data is published in excerpts and out of context, causing discussions.
The streamer Destiny has now shown the excerpt of a list of streamers who enjoy special rules regarding bans. Twitch subsequently banned the streamer.
Where is this list from? An excerpt of the list was posted on October 7th on reddit by Asmongold.
Tyler1 and Ricegum appear on Twitch’s “Do not Ban” list
Who is on this “Don’t just ban them” list? Two well-known names on the list are the streamers Tyler1 and Ricegum. Both are known for their controversial content:
The streamer “Ricegum” is also known for controversial actions: He participated in “Strip Fortnite,” where a woman sitting next to him removes a piece of clothing for every kill he gets in Fortnite
For both accounts, it is stated: They should not be banned, but the case should be forwarded to a specific Twitch employee.
This list apparently comes from the Twitch leak. Image source: Dexerto
These names are still on the list:
The account “Sarbandia” is also on the list, belonging to Twitch CEO Emmet Shear. For him, it says: “CEO – Absolutely do not ban.”
The German channel Rocket Beans TV is also on the list, here a two-day exception is to be made because “a non-gaming festival is taking place there.”
There are also some further notes on the list, such as that a streamer “jobranal327” should not be banned for an inappropriate name: The instruction was probably necessary because the letter sequence “anal” appears in his name.
Streamer believes in special treatment – Is banned by Twitch
This is the impact the list has already had: The Twitch streamer Destiny believes the list shows that some streamers receive special treatment that good management has negotiated for them.
Ricegum is therefore not simply banned, but only after consultation with another person, perhaps with his account manager.
The streamer Destiny was banned by Twitch after the stream in which he said this: Apparently because he mentioned the email address of the person responsible for Ricegum.

This is what’s behind it: The list seems somewhat mysterious at the moment, and the excerpt appears to be just a fragment of a larger document. Apparently the list is also already 5 years old:
The list partially reads like logical instructions: “Do not ban him for his name – that has been clarified” or “It’s okay if this gaming channel doesn’t focus on gaming for once – that has been agreed with us”
On the other hand, it also seems arbitrary: “Why do different rules apply to Ricegum and Tyler1 than to everyone else?”
Because the list is a fragment, it is unclear what larger context the list was part of, which names still appear on the list, and whether such measures are still relevant today.
The list is therefore so explosive because it confirms a suspicion that many Twitch users have: There seems to be special treatment for some that is not comprehensible from the outside.
In fact, there have already been some Twitch streamers demanding this “special treatment” listed here for all users. No streamer should be able to be banned “just like that,” but always only after consultation to clear up misunderstandings:
One of the most important things in Pokémon GO is collecting coins. To do this, players must occupy and change the colors of gyms. This often leads to conflicts among the trainers. Our MeinMMO author Franzi Korittke has experienced these situations multiple times and shares her opinion about them.
Why do gyms need to be changed? To earn coins in Pokémon GO, trainers must take over the game’s gyms and defend them for a certain period. Per day, you can earn a maximum of 50 coins this way.
For each coin, you need to hold it for a full 10 minutes. This means to reach your daily goal, you need to hold a gym for at least 8 hours and 20 minutes. You can achieve this by occupying just one gym or by multiple gyms. However, once you reach your daily limit of 50 coins, you won’t earn any additional coins, even if your Pokémon return from the gyms.
Why do rural players have difficulty obtaining their coins?
The conflicts surrounding gym occupations mostly relate to the distribution of the gyms. While in cities, there seems to be one every few meters, trainers in rural areas have to live with a limited number. Depending on where you live, it can be quite a distance to the nearest gym.
Accordingly, rural players have to cope with this problem and often find specific regulations regarding the use of the respective gyms. These are not officially stated in Pokémon GO’s rules, but are accepted as unwritten rules in some villages.
Instead of a constant change of ownership, as is common in city gyms, certain agreements are made among the trainers here. According to these, players may only be thrown out of the gym after a certain period. Often, the existing gyms are also divided based on the colors of the players present, so that everyone has a chance at their coins.
But what’s the problem if rural players establish their own regulations?
In most cases, these agreements are only known to local players because they often know each other in smaller villages. Therefore, once a new or non-local player wants to take over one of these gyms and is unaware of these regulations, the agreements get disrupted and the trainers respond annoyed or upset.
The recurring conflicts among trainers due to the gyms being changed are also evident in reports from players shared on social media.
In some cases, these disputes even escalate, leading to physical injuries or property damage. For instance, last year a trainer destroyed a car mirror because another player took over his gym.
My experiences with changing gyms
I also live in a rather rural area and can somewhat relate to the conflicts surrounding the gyms. After all, most players here also want to earn their coins, and the number of corresponding gyms is often quite limited compared to the number of players.
Getting immediately thrown out of the gym is quite frustrating. Especially when that player claims as many gyms in the surrounding area as possible and defends them to the last.
These are the regulations in our Pokémon community
It’s no different in my region. Although we have a number of gyms in the area through diligent applications for PokéStops, we also have several players in our Pokémon community who would like to claim them for themselves.
To avoid disputes, there is also a clear distribution of the gyms here. Each color is assigned a specific gym that they can use overnight. Thus, trainers can gather their coins by the next morning. During the day, the gyms can be freely used by all trainers.
And yet, we also regularly encounter new players or trainers who are just passing through and are unaware of our agreements. However, this doesn’t merely lead to the changing of individual gyms, but rather all that can be found in our village and neighboring areas.
Please stop immediately changing gyms!
From the game’s perspective, it is not a problem for trainers to defend up to 20 gyms simultaneously. However, does this number really need to be utilized in rural areas? Do all gyms in a small place really need to be changed, thus potentially depriving trainers of the chance to earn their coins? I have a clear opinion on this:
Rural players also want their coins, so please give them a chance to earn them. Please stop throwing players out of the gyms in small communities after just a few minutes!
My advice to non-local players is to check if there are still spots in a nearby gym with your color. With a bit of luck, that might be the case. This way, there won’t be any disputes, and everyone can enjoy the game.
Do you also live in the countryside and have had these experiences? What regulations are there in your local Pokémon communities? Or are you more of the players who take over all gyms in villages first? Feel free to share your opinions and experiences here on MeinMMO in the comments.
More and more MMOs and MMORPGs have discovered the console market. In recent years, games like Black Desert, ESO, and Final Fantasy XIV have been released there. However, none of these games fits consoles as perfectly as New World does, says MeinMMO editor Alexander Leitsch.
What’s the situation with MMORPGs and consoles? MMORPGs are actually classic PC games. They rely on:
Huge game worlds
Many different skills
An in-game chat to interact with players nearby
Frequent updates to fix bugs
All of this actually speaks against a classic console game, which is played alone or with friends in short and fun rounds on the couch. Especially the updates always lead to problems, as they must first be approved by the manufacturers Sony and Microsoft.
However, New World has many features that actually speak for a port to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. I would like to present these points to you here.
Who’s speaking? Alexander Leitsch is the MMORPG expert at MeinMMO. He spends his time mainly in Guild Wars 2, ESO, Black Desert, and WoW. He has played ESO quite intensively on the Xbox Series S. In New World, he has invested about 30 hours of gameplay since release.
The perfect combat system for controllers
What makes the combat system so good for consoles? New World features an action combat system, where you need to directly target your enemy. Classic “tabbing” through mobs, as seen in WoW or FFXIV, does not exist here. Targeting can be done with the controller as precisely as with a mouse.
Additionally, each weapon only comes with 3 abilities. These can be easily accommodated on the controller.
Besides these abilities, only functions for dodging, jumping, crouching, and the 4 food slots are needed. That should also be easily manageable.
3 weapon abilities, 4 slots for food, weapon swapping, and the dodge roll. These are the buttons that need to be assigned on the controller.
Players want controller support: In fact, one of the most requested features regarding New World is a controller support implemented by Amazon. Many players feel that New World would be perfect for playing with a controller even on PC.
While it doesn’t exist yet, you can still use a controller for New World. How exactly that works, we will explain here:
What makes the gameplay so good for consoles? Classic MMORPGs focus on long sessions. You either follow a grand story, fight in long dungeons or raids, or grind world bosses for a specific drop. This is usually very time-consuming.
While there are also console players who enjoy getting lost in long sessions, consoles generally invite shorter and snappier gaming rounds. It’s no coincidence that FIFA, battle royales like Fortnite and Apex Legends, and the game Dead by Daylight are at the top of the PlayStation game charts (via PS-Timetracker).
New World also relies on strong grinding, but you always have the feeling that you are making progress. Especially chopping wood or gathering iron with a pickaxe feels incredibly satisfying and consistently advances the corresponding life skill.
Even the longer dungeons or wars can usually be experienced in about 30 minutes. This way, you can make good progress in short gaming sessions. Perfect for the console players out there.
I, on the other hand, find the interface ideal for players using a controller. Navigating with a stick through the various menus is much more intuitive than currently using a mouse. And on consoles, players tend to use the chat less frequently anyway.
Therefore, Amazon wouldn’t need to change much to bring New World to consoles.
The entire user interface with many tiles invites you to be controlled with a controller.
An in-game voice chat, so you don’t need an external program
What makes the voice chat so good for consoles? While players on PC often gather in external programs like TeamSpeak or Discord to communicate with their friends, I find using external programs on the Xbox Series S always annoying.
New World makes it much easier for me. Through the proximity chat in the game, I can directly talk to my dungeon group, my team in war, or just with random players around me. This adds more immersion, and I can imagine this feature being used even more intensely on consoles than on PC.
What makes the game size so good for consoles? Storage space is scarce on consoles. I constantly need to think about which titles I keep on my Xbox Series S and which ones I take off the console.
However, New World is relatively small for an MMO. The game takes up 39.98 gigabytes of space on my device. For comparison:
ESO occupies about 80 gigabytes of storage
WoW Retail + Classic consume about 75 gigabytes
Guild Wars 2 takes up nearly 52 GB
SWTOR takes up 48 gigabytes
While 40 GB is still a lot of storage space, New World is overall a bit smaller and more manageable than classic MMORPGs. You can also see this in the player numbers per server.
With about 2,000 to 2,500 players, it doesn’t take a large community to fill a server. Moreover, the low numbers are another plus regarding performance on consoles.
What do you think of the idea of New World on consoles? Would you play it there? Or are you already playing other MMORPGs on consoles? Feel free to write it in the comments. We have summarized the best MMORPGs for consoles here:
During the week of October 4 to 10, much was again about New World. But Guild Wars 2, Lord of the Rings Online, and WoW also made headlines. We from MeinMMO summarize all the important MMORPG news of the week for you.
The highlight of the week: New World is still extremely present. However, more and more complaints about the game are also emerging:

Is the new MMO New World suitable for casual players? The streamer shroud says “No”. But how valid is his statement? We discuss this in the latest episode of the MeinMMO podcast.
This is the topic: Leya, Schuhmann, and Alex talk about the major issue of the past weeks: The new MMO New World from Amazon Games. It is played by many thousands of players, with an all-time peak of almost a million on Steam.
The rush to the servers was so great that Amazon provided over 200 servers in the EU, of which 46 were intended for German-speaking players. And even then, there were huge queues, and players had to wait for hours before they could finally play. We at MeinMMO covered the launch of New World extensively:
However, despite the initial success, shroud, one of the largest Twitch streamers, claimed that the MMO is not for casual players and that one needs to invest more than just an hour a day to be successful. We at MeinMMO take a look at what is behind this statement.
In addition to the news, we also regularly offer special episodes, where we focus on a specific topic. For example, we talked with an expert about the current state of e-sports.

The first players in FIFA 22 have already received their Weekend League Rewards. However, there is a problem with the Player Picks – which is why they are currently disabled.
Update, October 10: According to EA, the Player Picks are now being added back to the rewards, as announced on Twitter. Furthermore, players who have already claimed their incorrect rewards will be contacted in-game and will receive the correct rewards. However, this may still take some time – no timeframe has been provided.

Why are there already Weekend League Rewards? In FIFA 22, the Weekend League rewards now run with a new system. You no longer receive rewards on Thursday after the Weekend League, but directly once you have completed all matches (or when the competition is over).
The first players have apparently already reached this goal, as the first Weekend League started on October 8. Accordingly, the first players have already received their Player Picks – the untradeable, red versions of the current TOTW players.
However, there was an error with the Player Picks: The reward players were not untradeable this time.
Currently, isolated Player Pick players can be found on the transfer market
EA Sports disables tradable Player Picks
This is the error: Normally, Player Picks consist of a selection of special, red FUT Champions cards that cannot be sold. However, it seems that the Picks from the rewards of the first Weekend League were tradable, as players report on reddit.
Even now (Friday, 4:10 PM), corresponding cards can still be found on the transfer market, which should not exist there. Thus, some players can now hope for coin profit from their Player Picks.
This is how EA reacts: They have apparently quickly noticed the error, as it was announced on Twitter that the Player Picks will be disabled for now.
So if you claim your Weekend League Rewards now, you will not receive any player choice for the time being. Affected players are to receive their Player Picks “at a later time” – that is, after the problem is resolved.
As soon as there are any updates on this, we will keep you informed.
In addition to the Weekend League, a new card was also a topic in the community today: Cristiano Ronaldo is the Player of the Month in the Premier League. However, the POTM Ronaldo card is causing trouble among players.

A survey on gaming behavior in the USA has delivered an interesting insight. Apparently, most players from the Millennial and Generation Z generations are fans of mobile games on smartphones. How exactly the numbers play out, what might be the reasons, and what this means for gaming, you can find out here on MeinMMO!
What is this study about? The analysis company Tapjoy (via Tapjoy), which deals with mobile games, has released a survey report. This report primarily focused on the gaming habits of the current parent generation in the USA, specifically Millennials born between 1981 and 1996. A total of 5,498 people were surveyed.
What are the results? In summary, the survey arrived at the following results regarding the primary gaming platforms of Millennials:
90 percent of respondents play on smartphones
31 percent also use consoles and handhelds
23 percent game on PC
The numbers arise from the fact that various players indeed use multiple platforms and were not asked about a single platform.
According to the study, their gaming behavior is quite close to that of the next generation, the youth of Generation Z.
According to the study, 64 percent of eligible players play “very often” on their mobile phones. For Generation Z, this figure is 62 percent.
What contributes to the widespread popularity of mobile games?
What are the reasons? According to Tapjoy, the popularity of mobile games among these two generations stems from the fact that both Millennials and Generation Z members are very tech-savvy, and smartphones are widely available and used excessively.
They have a unique perspective: they remember life before the internet, but they also can’t imagine life without it. And they are just as tech-savvy and dependent on their mobile devices as Generation Z, especially when it comes to gaming and shopping.
Lauren Baca, Senior Director of Marketing at Tapjoy
What games are being played? According to Tapjoy, especially popular are Free2Play games they have seen either in funny advertisements or from friends. The most popular genres are:
Particularly the latter genre is very popular with games like CoD Mobile, Fortnite, and PUBG Mobile.
How does the COVID-19 pandemic factor in? According to Tapjoy, the COVID-19 pandemic appears to have further intensified mobile gaming behavior. 73% of respondents stated that they played more mobile games due to the pandemic. 59% downloaded new game apps at the time of the survey, and 60% claimed that they would continue their new gaming habits even after a potential end of the pandemic.
This Millennial parent generation also includes MeinMMO author Jürgen Horn, who has a fondness for mobile games like Moonlight Sculptor or the new Marvel Future Revolution. Because for a quick round on the phone, you don’t have to go to the room with the computer, and you can play a little anytime and anywhere when there’s time.
What could all this mean for the future? The high popularity of mobile games suggests that playing on smartphones will continue to take up an increasingly larger share of gaming in the foreseeable future. Mobile games are no longer just casual puzzle games but increasingly complex graphics sensations that are hardly distinguishable from games on consoles or PCs.
Additionally, better gaming-compatible smartphones keep emerging, such as the new foldable phones, which offer greater gaming comfort with particularly large screens. There are also useful gadgets, like specific controllers that can turn a regular smartphone into a kind of Switch.
Moreover, more and more major studios are pushing into the mobile segment with their AAA titles. This includes the upcoming Diablo Immortal or the planned mobile version of the Battle Royale hit Apex Legends. And we might even see a high-quality mobile version of WoW one day.
So much for the study by Tapjoy on mobile gaming among Millennials and Generation Z. Are you also big mobile fans, or do you fall out of the norm because mobile games don’t appeal to you at all? Let us know in the comments.
In October, 4 new MMOs and online games are being released, which we have included in this list. In addition, there are some major updates, and the hype from New World still carries over into the new month. We at MeinMMO present you the highlights of October.
What kind of games are they? The selected games are online games that you can experience together with friends or unknown players. Each game celebrates its release in September 2021 or receives an update that brings significant innovations.
On the last page, there is also a brief outlook on what else is happening in September. This includes smaller updates, beta events, or releases that will only take place towards the end of the month.
How was this list created? This list is meant to inform you about new releases and updates and was compiled by MMORPG expert Alexander Leitsch. Each game will be presented in more detail throughout the article, and it will be revealed for whom the respective title is worth playing.
Genre: MMORPG | Developer: Amazon | Platform: PC | Release date: September 28, 2021 | Model: Buy-to-Play
What kind of game is this? In New World you play as a shipwreck survivor who reaches the mysterious island of Aeternum, where Azoth – a mystical material – is located. This material awakens human greed and corrupts them.
On the island, you will encounter wild beasts, the hostile NPC faction called the Corrupted, which has come into contact with Azoth, as well as hostile players that you can fight in optional PvP encounters.
The endgame revolves a lot around dungeons, world events, PvP, and the fight for various territories.
The Highlights of New World
New World was originally a PvP and survival game, but it has increasingly incorporated PvE elements. It now feels like a solid MMORPG for all types of players:
You can level up a character to level 60, as New World does not rely on classes. Your weapon determines your playstyle.
From level 10, you can join one of 3 factions and optional fight the others in the open world and in instanced battles for fortresses.
In PvP, there are wars in 50v50 and the Outpost Rush, a mode for 40v40 fortress battles.
Why you should play New World in October
On September 28, New World was released after being delayed multiple times. At launch, New World faced long wait times, but now enough servers have been opened so that you can play right away.
Now is the ideal time to start playing Amazon’s MMO. The game is aimed mainly at fans of action combat systems, explorers, crafters, and PvP players. However, you should not expect a classic hero story, like the one told in GW2, or a tab-targeting combat system like in WoW.
Again: Don’t ask why this is the case. You just want to survive, right?
5. Copper is a team resource – use it that way
In Back 4 Blood, there is a primary currency: copper. You will find it repeatedly in the levels and receive it as a bonus when you are particularly quick or complete secondary objectives.
With copper, you buy weapons, ammunition, healing – pretty much everything available. Each player has their own copper supply, but you should always share it brotherly (or sisterly).
This is especially true for the particularly expensive team upgrades. They grant more equipment slots for the whole group or increase the effectiveness of equipment.
But even if a teammate has too little copper to fully equip themselves – help them out and give them coins so that every player starts optimally into the new match.
At the latest, when friendly Holly saves your butt with the Molotov she could only buy with your donation, you will understand this as a good investment.
In the end, the question remains: What good are the 3,000 copper you have accumulated if you can no longer spend it because your team has been wiped out and the last “Continue” has been used?
6. Always have a toolkit in the team
From the very first map on, you should adhere to this rule: Don’t leave the safe room until it’s ensured that at least one player has purchased a toolkit.
In (almost) every map, there is one or more locked rooms that can only be opened with a toolkit. These rooms are a true loot paradise, often containing powerful weapons, frequently cards for the whole team, and not rarely more copper per person than the toolkit costs.
Occasionally, there are even healing stations in the rooms, allowing players to refresh their health points.
Toolkits are worth every single copper coin as long as you use them for the bonus rooms.
7. Use different weapon types
Even though you can stock up on a lot of ammunition in the safe room, after the first 100 meters it becomes a rare resource.
So don’t hesitate to ask your team for ammunition. After all, all characters can carry all types of ammunition and lay them on the ground for another cleaner to use if necessary.
For this to work, however, it is important that you all use different weapons. If the entire team consists of 4 shotguns, you are guaranteed to run out of breath halfway through the map.
A well-mixed team, where no weapon type occurs more than 2 times, simply has much more and sustained firepower.
Everyone in the team should have a different weapon – it’s worth it.
8. Leave the safe room quickly
Before you open the door from the safe room, you are completely safe inside. You can shop to your heart’s content and plan the strategy.
However, the seconds immediately after opening the door of the safe room are crucial. Typically, you attract a whole bunch of zombies shortly after leaving, along with some special infected.
If you retreat into the safe room, a single tallboy can quickly take your whole team down.
So only fall back into the safe room if there is really no other option – many matches end in the first seconds, and often there are much better positions nearby to set up against the zombies.
There are exceptions to this rule. Particularly large safe rooms can indeed be a nice retreat. The smaller the room, the more you should avoid posting up there for long.
9. Those who lead should crouch
On the lowest difficulty levels, “friendly fire” is not a big issue – but it is very much so at higher levels. To avoid as much crossfire as possible, you should adhere to a very simple rule:
Those who lead in tight areas should crouch.
That way, the other players can easily shoot over the frontman, while the crouched player clears out with a melee weapon, for example.
Generally, it is good if the team has relatively “fixed positions,” meaning who leads and who brings up the rear. Then it rarely happens that you walk through a teammate and blast 80 health points away with a shotgun.
Between the beta and launch, not much has changed in Back 4 Blood – most are fine-tuning.
However, one particularly important change concerns the healing item “Medi-Kit” and bandages that survivors can carry. Both can now heal trauma damage if the items have been upgraded through a team upgrade. Thus, you should prefer a Medi-Kit in most cases over other healing items, like pills.
Especially at the highest difficulty, trauma damage is extremely annoying, and every way to regenerate these health points will bring you one step closer to victory.
With these tips, you should be well-equipped for higher difficulty levels and able to slowly but surely tackle the maps.

Back 4 Blood has launched. Don’t want to be the noob of the team? Then we have 10 tips for you to become a better team member.
Back 4 Blood is a zombie shooter, but those who just shoot wildly will not find success on the higher – and more fun – difficulty levels. To ensure you are well-prepared for the start of the cooperative slaughter, we have 10 tips for you to automatically become better team members and earn more achievements.
The tips are generally suitable for all difficulty levels, but are especially useful for “Nightmare” and “Veteran”.
1. Communication is key
Back 4 Blood is a cooperative game, and only those who act as a team will find success on higher difficulty levels.
Therefore, continuous communication with your team members is essential. The best way to do this is through voice chat. Discuss your strategy before the round and assign rough roles. Who is buying a Molotov? Who wants to be the melee fighter? Is there enough money for a team upgrade?
But whether you use the voice chat or not, you should definitely make use of the ping system (PC standard: Q). This marks all kinds of things in the game. Do you see a special infected? Mark him with a ping. Did you find a cool weapon with an awesome upgrade that you don’t need? Just mark it.
As long as you don’t spam the button continuously, your character will also always say a little phrase about what you have discovered.
This way, you can quickly relay important information to the team, even without needing to use voice chat.
2. Build your own decks to increase your chances
The card system in Back 4 Blood is not well received by all veterans, but it is an integral part of the game. After you have completed your first matches and unlocked new cards, you should definitely spend a few minutes building your own decks.
The standard deck is enough for the first matches, but later you will want to further customize yourself. Do you want to focus on melee weapons? Or are you more of a supporter who heals efficiently and can carry more healing items? How well can you handle trauma damage and how much ammunition can your character carry?
All of this and more can be adjusted through cards. So if you have a few minutes to catch your breath between runs, prepare several decks for different play styles.
It takes a little while to get used to the system – but once you have embraced it, it enhances the fun of the game and your utility to the group.
Moreover: The cards are always drawn in a fixed order. How you arrange the cards in the deck completely decides which card you receive first and which card you get last in the match. There is no random factor here.
Building decks may be annoying for some – but once you get used to it, it allows for many different play styles.
3. You can kill birds
Even in the first missions, you will encounter flocks of birds. These are more or less randomly scattered annoying points on the map. If birds are startled – for example, by a nearby shot or because a player walks through them, they will fly into the sky, screeching, and alert a horde.
You can simply bypass the flocks and avoid them, but you risk a stray shot going in the wrong direction causing an unpleasant surprise later.
However, it is better: You can kill the flock. If your group proceeds in a coordinated manner and opens fire simultaneously, you can catch all the birds before they fly high and alert the horde.
Alternatively, you can simply throw a grenade or a Molotov cocktail at the birds to eliminate them immediately.
Please don’t ask why a flock of birds can alert a horde but a grenade cannot – you won’t get far with logic in the next safe room.
4. You can trick alarm doors
Some doors in Back 4 Blood appear as special “alarm doors,” which are indicated by a red symbol. When opened or smashed by a player, a loud alarm sounds, attracting a horde.
However, you can trick the alarm doors. With a toolkit, you can bypass the security and open the door without triggering the alarm.
Even more efficiently, let the zombies do the work. If there are zombies behind the locked alarm door, you can simply attract them with noise – usually a few shots are enough.
The zombies will then break down the door and destroy it without activating the alarm.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate announced its final character on October 5, to be added to the roster. In the great finale, none other than Sora from Kingdom Hearts has made it into the game. The community and MeinMMO author Lena were moved to tears.
Hundreds of thousands sat excitedly in front of their screens and followed the livestream from Nintendo about Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. In recent years, numerous new fighters have been added to the roster that could be purchased as DLC. On October 5, the very last character was announced: Sora.
What is Super Smash Bros. Ultimate? Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is one of the most well-known games in the fighting game genre, where you can compete with characters from various game series.
Many characters come from the Nintendo universe. But also heroes like Sephiroth from Final Fantasy and Steve from Minecraft are included.

What is Kingdom Hearts as a game? The Kingdom Hearts series originated from the collaboration between Square Enix and the Walt Disney Company. In the action RPG, you travel through various Disney worlds to protect them from darkness and enemies known as Heartless and Nobodies.
There are currently 9 main series entries and 3 HD remasters. This is complemented by 2 games alongside the main games.
Who is Sora? Sora is the likeable protagonist from Kingdom Hearts, with whom you travel through the Disney worlds and wield his Keyblade, which is the weapon that defeats enemies.
Alongside him are the iconic characters from Disney: Donald and Goofy. Mickey Mouse also makes occasional appearances, helping the group or giving them new missions.
The fans’ reactions were overwhelming
What does the community say about Sora in Smash? The community was overwhelmed and completely ecstatic. Many of them grabbed their chairs or nearby objects and threw them in joy around the room. Others could hardly believe it, screaming or bursting into tears.

The YouTuber Hungrybox cheers: “They actually did it!”, and then sits down for a moment before his dam breaks (via YouTube).
And for those who like mashups – meaning many reactions played simultaneously – there is also something here (via Youtube).
That’s why Sora in Smash is such a big deal: Sora is the character that most fans wished for – this was also confirmed by Sakurai in the Smash livestream. However, many did not expect Sora anymore, as they suspected that the creators of Smash and Disney could not reach an agreement or that Disney did not want to give up Sora.
Although Sora and his companions were developed by Square Enix, they belong to Disney. Hoeg Law summarizes well in his YouTube video who owns what and how to recognize it (via YouTube).
This is how I experienced the reveal
This is how the livestream went for me: I was in a Discord call with one of my best friends while watching the livestream. Since the release of the first DLC for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, I had been hoping for Sora as a playable character. So you can imagine what kind of hot coals I was sitting on when the livestream started.
Who is speaking here? MeinMMO author Lena is a huge fan of the Kingdom Hearts series and first experienced the game during her elementary school years. With Kingdom Hearts 2, she found her entry into the series and has since completed every part. When it comes to Smash, she is rather semi-good and just enjoys the game since it became available on the Nintendo 64.
It was all or nothing – the last character appears: if this isn’t Sora, I won’t touch the game anymore – that’s how I decided. The first light particles sparkled, and I made fun of both of us: “That’s Sora!” I called out while laughing.
But when the Keyblade appeared, I could hardly believe my eyes. Is that Sora? Really? Or is Sakurai pulling our leg? Then he flew out of the keyhole – the dam broke. I have no idea what kind of sounds we were grunting into each other’s headphones, but it was amazing!
Even when I watch reactions like the ones above today, tears of joy well up in my eyes.
That’s why I’m so excited about Sora: Although I’ve invested some hours in Smash, I never found THE character for me. Pikachu and Greninja are great fighters, but for me, they were still not the highlight.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has no character that could keep me in the game. Therefore, no one could motivate me to really learn the game and get better. In Smash, there are naturally tricks, tips, and the best moves at the right time. Learning that? No, not interested.
That is changing now with Sora. Kingdom Hearts is my absolute favorite game and has been with me forever. I’m eagerly waiting for every part and every little piece.
Sora has breathed new life into the game for me, and I am extremely excited to soon start my Switch and download the DLC.
Did you also watch the reveal and cheer along, or are you not interested in Smash? What do you think about Sora as the final fighter? Feel free to share in the comments.
