In Pokémon GO, trainers should primarily have fun, go outside, and explore their surroundings. However, the game has now helped one trainer in a special way to cope with the heavy loss of his beloved dog. We at MeinMMO have looked at how he paid his last respects to him.
What happened to the trainer? Unlike other games, Pokémon GO aims to connect the digital world of Pokémon with the real world. Trainers are encouraged to go outside and explore their surroundings. However, the game has now helped one trainer in a very special way deal with a significant loss.
As the trainer killerstellar reports on reddit, he lost his beloved dog a few months ago. Now, with the help of Pokémon GO, he has found a way to cope with this grief and pay his last respects to his dog.
How the Trainer Paid His Last Respects to His Dog
As can be inferred from the title of killerstellar’s reddit post, it is about his beloved dog Abel. He was his loyal companion in the real world and sadly passed away in September 2021 (via reddit.com).
Now, however, the reddit user has found his own way to say goodbye to the little Yorkshire Terrier and honor him in this way.
What did killerstellar do? As killerstellar explains, his biggest goal was to get a Shiny-Terribark to have his furry friend back as his best buddy, at least in a digital way.
After some time had passed, a few weeks ago he achieved the Lucky Friends status with another trainer. This trainer had a shiny Yorkleff and was ready to give it to him. Killerstellar took this opportunity, has since evolved it into a Shiny-Terribark, and, of course, took him as his buddy in the game.
You can find out how to play with your buddy in our related article:
What happened next? Just in time for his birthday, he and Abel, which is the name he gave to the Shiny-Terribark, have finally become best friends. Overjoyed, he writes on reddit: “Today, on my actual birthday, we became best friends. I couldn’t have wished for anything else” (via reddit.com).
He also shares a picture on reddit showing his deceased dog (on the right) and his new digital buddy (on the left).

In the community, the post about killerstellar’s loyal dog receives much sympathy. Some trainers have had to let go of their pets as well and can empathize with the pain.
Many celebrate him for the idea of keeping his beloved pet alive in a digital way and always carrying him with him. As can be read in the comments, he is not alone in this idea of creating a lasting memory (via reddit.com):
atmospheric90: “I feel for you! I had 2 small pugs that I lost in December within a month, and I named 2 shiny Snubbull after them. Every time I see them, I well up with tears.”
sven3067: “Happy Birthday and my condolences for your loss! It’s fantastic that you can still be close through PoGo.”
ComputerSong: “I always joked that my cat was a squeaky toy. The day after her death, I found a hundred squeaky toys behind our house.”
Aegis_1984: “My condolences for your loss. We lost our Oliver on October 14th, and I am eagerly waiting for Voldi to come into the game so I can honor him. I’m glad you got your buddy back.”
We can also only wish killerstellar the best for the future and hope he can create many wonderful memories in Pokémon GO with his best buddy.
What do you think of killerstellar’s idea of coping with his grief in this way and paying his beloved dog the last respects? Have you ever done something similar for one of your animals? Feel free to share your opinion here on MeinMMO in the comments.
With the new update, Final Fantasy XIV has revamped housing. This caused a lot of frustration even before the update’s release. MeinMMO summarizes the players’ concerns for you.
What changes are there to housing?
With the new Patch 6.1, the housing system in Ishgard has been expanded with a lottery system.
The traditional method no longer exists; instead, players must rely on luck to obtain a house.
The lottery system includes all residential districts. Additionally, there are new plots in the Empyreum, the adventurer area of Ishgard.
Players must apply for a plot and have a chance to be drawn.
The application phase for the lottery lasts about 5 Earth days, with the results phase lasting 4 days.
The idea behind this is that every player has a fair chance to get a plot. Therefore, there should be 1440 additional slots per server.
However, there is a catch that causes frustration among players because many houses in the new districts are not accessible to regular players.

Imbalance between free companies and private buyers worries players
What is the problem? In the new residential area of FFXIV, 24 districts will be unlocked. In the first 18, only free companies can obtain their own houses.
This leaves only 6 districts available for the remaining private buyers. Thus, a large portion of the new free slots is reserved for free companies. Ultimately, only 360 slots per server remain.
These are the purchase conditions for private buyers:
You must have reached level 50.
You need the rank of Second Mate, Second Serpent Priest, or Second Legion Standard Bearer.
These are the purchase conditions for free companies:
The eligibility to acquire properties.
At least four members.
The company must have the right “purchase/return property”.
The guild master must have been a member of the free company for 30 days (new with Patch 6.1).
In the eyes of the players, the imbalance is far too high due to the unequal distribution. Moreover, they describe places like Spriggan, where large portions of the districts are controlled by just one person with fake accounts.
Many such cases are causing players to lose interest in housing. Here are some comments on the matter:
“Well, I guess that’s it for my dream of owning a house. It seems that my fate of not having a house is pretty much the same in the game as it is in real life.” – perhapsasinner
“There will be many empty plots on Materia.” – Leonia42
“They should really just offer a second row of houses that are a bit larger.” – Bid_Unable
“I think a few apartments would be great. For example, a penthouse with a small rooftop terrace or balcony. That’s a lot of work, of course, but it would be amazing.” – CatOfTheCanalss
What is certain is that housing will likely remain a topic of discussion. Some players don’t see it as problematic and report that they have already had luck with the lottery.
However, the developer has already announced that the distribution may change in the future. It is possible that private buyers will have more opportunities to get their own house.
What do you think about it? Have you had any luck? Do you find the distribution of properties unfair as well?
Niantic is known for the development of Pokémon GO, but they are also working on other games. They have now announced the development of a completely new IP: Peridot. In this mobile game, you can tame, collect and train cute pets.
What kind of game is this exactly? Peridot is a pet simulation. You care for the cute animals known as Dots, who have awakened from their stasis after thousands of years. You ensure they grow up safely, learn new tricks, and can even breed.
Each Dot is supposed to be unique in terms of its DNA, and so the breeding aspect will play a significant role. Each Dot has different physical characteristics, as well as customized personalities. The four legs and the cute, big eyes apparently remain the same.
When will the game be released? The first beta tests are expected to take place in April, starting on April 18. However, these will begin in selected countries, with the number gradually increasing. When exactly the game will be available in Germany is currently unknown.

Peridot in the teaser trailer – Packed with cute pets
Peridot shares some overlaps with Pokémon GO
In what ways are the two games similar? Like Pokémon GO, the game utilizes augmented reality. You will see your companion through the camera in the real world and must also satisfy its need for movement. You will also find food and items when you are moving outside.
The breeding process is supposed to occur by visiting nests in the open world, similar to the stops in Pokémon GO. In these nests, you might find wild Dots or the pets of other players, who can then mate.
The offspring is supposed to fall from the sky immediately and be available for players to use. The focus will be on the various traits that players will be able to breed into their Peridots.
What do you think about Niantic’s new game? Does the concept appeal to you, or would you rather stick with Pokémon GO, where battles and catching are the focus? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.
There’s a lot happening in Pokémon GO in April. The most important events are summarized here:
Richard Garriott is one of the most well-known developers of MMORPGs. He created the milestone Ultima Online. Now he is working on a new game based on blockchain and NFTs. He argues that players anyway sell items and accounts on the internet. NFTs make these transactions safer and fairer.
What kind of game will it be? Much is not yet known about the new MMORPG, it doesn’t even have an official name. Garriott will work on the title with his colleague Todd Porter (Ultima IV) and Chris Spears (Shroud of the Avatar).
The MMORPG is supposed to be a modern Ultima, featuring an isometric perspective, fantasy content, and its own shops and lands that players can own.
It will also rely on NFTs, which according to Garriott will benefit the players. The blockchain is supposed to help make trading safer so that players do not have to resort to black markets. However, he is dissatisfied with the current implementations of NFT games.
Richard Garriott was also the one who coined the term MMORPG, as you can see in this video:
Start video
Where does the term MMORPG come from? The history of the genre in 2 minutes
A modern Ultima with NFTs and financing from players
How will this work with NFTs? Players can buy their own land for real money. There they can set up a shop or place a portal to a dungeon they created themselves. For this, players can then charge admission or profit directly from sales in their shop.
The NFTs and the blockchain are supposed to help make trading safer and more effective. Players would not have to resort to eBay as was the case before:
In Ultima Online, when people started buying and selling shops on eBay, we had to make the effort to think about what we thought of it. Should we stop it because we cannot guarantee that the sale will really be permanent? And we had nothing from it.
All we got from people trading items are risks and complaints. [The blockchain] is a way to settle economic relations in a very fair and consistent manner between players who buy, sell, and trade these virtual goods.
Through the NFT system, players are supposed to earn real money, which ties them even closer to the game. Garriott explains that while he enjoys investing in cryptocurrency, everything is too complicated and confusing.
Their new MMORPG is supposed to not draw players’ attention to cryptocurrency but let all these things happen in the background so that players do not have to immerse themselves in that world.
Players are skeptical, also due to Garriott’s past
Who is Richard Garriott anyway? Garriott is one of the most famous game developers in the world. Some know him by his Ultima name “Lord British”. Garriott had programmed himself as a ruler in the world he created.
What is the problem with the new MMORPG? Besides the fact that many players are skeptical because of the NFTs, Garriott has lost reputation due to his last project “Shroud of the Avatar”:
In the end, Shroud of the Avatar became a niche MMORPG that fell far short of expectations and the success of Garriott’s previous products. That Chris Spears, the current head of Shroud of the Avatar, is now also part of the new project while simultaneously continuing to operate the old MMORPG, is viewed negatively by some (via Twitter).
How do you see the idea of the new MMORPG? Does a modern Ultima Online appeal to you? And do you see NFTs as a way to make trading safer? Or do you generally stay away from black markets?
If you want to play a new MMORPG this year, you should keep an eye on this title:

“I never understood why people would ignore half of the features”
Although the post is no longer found in the subreddit, a screenshot of it has surfaced on Twitter. Under the post by SlainUnkorn, the girlfriend of the self-proclaimed Souls expert receives a lot of support.
SlainUnikorn comments on this: “If you want to make the game harder for yourself by playing a certain way, go ahead, I do it all the time. But don’t belittle the achievements of others. If they defeated the game with the means available to them, they have succeeded, period.”
A large part of the now over 2000 retweets goes in a similar direction. Many love magic and the play style especially.

“Git gud” vs “Play how you want” – The debate continues
The debate around the “correct” play style has become highly charged. A large portion of players believe that any means provided by the developers with the game is allowed.
However, a small, hardcore, and vocal faction of the community, which has existed since Dark Souls 1, still holds the iron view: “Get better, or die alone.”
Any tool that makes the game easier even slightly is taboo in the eyes of a few, and those who still use them are not playing the game the way it was meant to be played.
Our author Marko Jevtic has also commented on the topic with regard to PvP:
This not only contradicts the logic that the features were deliberately implemented by the developers, but also another principle that the Souls community actually stands for: “Jolly Cooperation.”
For cooperation is actually paramount and holds the highest value in the community. Players support each other with guides, tips on builds, and all other complicated mechanics of Elden Ring.
Now she is angry with him and accuses him of being condescending and that these things are implemented in the game for a reason, namely so that they can be used.
We kept arguing and she accused me of being insecure because she finished the game before me. I insisted that she hadn’t really finished the game, that she simply had more time to play and that I play it the way it’s meant to be played. So, am I the asshole?

Elden Ring not only sparks discussions within the community about play styles, but also controversies can arise in friendships and relationships. A player posted their case in the subreddit “AmItheAsshole?” and sparked discussions on Twitter.
What kind of subreddit is this? The name translates to “Am I the Asshole?” People post their quarrels and disputes on the reddit page when they are unsure about their stance.
An example that caused general amusement also fits the usual discussions around the action RPG: Can Elden Ring be played correctly? In this case, a player describes a problem they have with their girlfriend.
This is the story behind it: According to the player, his girlfriend is actually someone who mainly plays “easier” video games, such as Animal Crossing or Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Furthermore, she does not have much to do with gaming. He himself is a big “Soulslike” fan and has been waiting for Elden Ring for years.
When she watched him play Elden Ring, she was reminded of Breath of the Wild due to the open world. She wanted to try her luck herself, despite his warnings about the infamous difficulty. She dared to try and was successful.
Debate about play style causes relationship dispute “I don’t think you would have succeeded without help.”
What is the problem? The user says: “I work a lot and she studies, so she had more time to play than I did in the last few weeks.” As long as she doesn’t spoil anything for him, it was okay for him, “even though I believed she would give up early.”
One day, she called him during her lunch break and excitedly told him that she had finished Elden Ring. At first, he didn’t believe her and suspected that it must have been the first or second boss she managed to defeat. But at home, he could see that she had already started New Game Plus.
When he found out that she had used magic and coop summons, everything became clear to him: “That explains it, I don’t think you would have succeeded without help.”
This is where the argument started: He told her that these things are largely used to play in Easy Mode. He doubted that she would succeed with the “correct play style” alone and in melee.
The debate is not new and resurfaces in the community time and again based on such examples.

The release of the Steam–Shooter secret tip The Cycle: Frontier has been delayed once again according to Yager Development. Instead, the closed beta test phase 2 has been extended again.
Release postponed, when does the beta end? The German developer studio Yager Development has announced that the release of the shooter The Cycle: Frontier, scheduled for April 2022, cannot be met and will be postponed again.
Furthermore, the studio announced that with the postponement of the release, the currently running closed beta test phase will be extended until April 25, 2022. The current beta has already been running for a month.
Yager Development announces the extended beta on Twitter
When is the release and why was it delayed?
When is the release? Yager Development did not specify a new release date in the press release. A release in April 2022 seems unlikely.
Even though no new date has been announced yet, the developer studio stated that another announcement regarding the release will be made “early enough.”
Why is the release delayed? The developers cite the current state of the game as the reason for the postponement of the release.
The studio wants to ensure that the shooter is released in a “perfectly matured state.” However, this also means that the developers need more time and will not be able to release the game as planned in April 2022.
What is The Cycle: Frontier? The Cycle: Frontier is a free-to-play shooter that you play in the first-person perspective, with a focus on PvEvP. A major aspect of the game is collecting loot and survival. So far, it has not been officially released, but early testing phases have already attracted a lot of interest on both Steam and Twitch.
In March, according to SteamCharts, even 15,700 players were active simultaneously at peak times, with an average of about 6,700 players over the last 30 days.
In recent weeks, the LEC Spring Split playoffs for LoL took place. It was evident that 3 champions were either banned or picked in every game. We will show you who they are.
What’s happening with LoL? Recently, the LEC Spring Split playoffs ended with a victory of G2 Esports against Rogue. During the tournament, there were three champions that ended up in almost every team or were banned.
LeBlanc, Hecarim, and Zeri are the three champions. Here, we show you their stats and how often they were played.
Stats of LeBlanc, Hecarim, and Zeri at the LEC Spring
Where does the information come from? The website Oracleselixir has compiled the champion stats of the tournament and shows the three champions with a 100% pick-ban rate. They were thus chosen for a team or banned by a team in every game.
Here are the stats:
LeBlanc has a pick rate of 37.5% and a ban rate of 62.5% as a midlaner
Hecarim has a pick rate of 25% and a ban rate of 75% as a jungler
Zeri has a pick rate of 25% and a ban rate of 75% as an ADC
Just behind them are the ADC Jinx and the midlaner Twisted Fate, who have a pick-ban rate of a remarkable 95.8%.
LeBlanc was actually played in 9 games. Among the professional players of LoL, the nimble sorceress is very popular with her burst damage.
Zeri is one of the newest champions in LoL. Her high mobility plays an important role in team fights, which is why she holds a firm place in the hearts of many players. She was played six times.
And Hecarim is also a champion known in the MOBA for his mobility. With his skills, he is very agile in fights and easily penetrates the vulnerable backline. He can also use his skills defensively to escape ganks. Just like Zeri, Hecarim was only played six times.
Will it stay like this? Until the next major tournament, the popularity of the champions will probably change, although LeBlanc has been chosen often by professional players for years.
For the big Mid-Season Invitational, we expect many changes that will have meta effects. It will be exciting to see which characters take center stage and how well LeBlanc, Hecarim, and Zeri perform then.

World of Warcraft offers 11 professions and 3 secondary professions, but which ones are truly rewarding? MeinMMO explains which professions complement each other best and which are lucrative.
WoW is one of the MMORPGs with the best crafting system. However, you need resources to craft first. For that, there are gathering and crafting professions. You can learn a maximum of 2 professions at the same time.
In our comprehensive profession guide for Shadowlands, you will find explanations for the individual professions. However, we have listed for you which professions complement each other and which are particularly worthwhile.
These pairings apply not only to Shadowlands but also to WoW Classic and Burning Crusade Classic. If you have already learned a profession or want to learn one, you can click on the corresponding profession in the table of contents and read what fits:

Everything you need to know about the MMORPG World of Warcraft – in 3 minutes
Which professions are the most worthwhile?
The question of the most rewarding profession is not easy to answer and largely depends on what you actually want from a profession. Some players want to equip their character with gear, others want to make a lot of gold, and others want toys. All of this is possible to some extent with most professions, but some are more flexible than others. We have listed some combinations that are particularly worthwhile.
The standard choice: If you are looking for the simplest way and play a lot solo, you should go for the classic. That is, one crafting profession and one gathering profession (with the exception of cloth-wearers). Depending on which armor class your character has, you should choose the following combinations.
Armor Type
Professions
Cloth
Tailoring + Enchanting
Leather
Leatherworking + Skinning
Mail
Leatherworking + Skinning
Plate
Blacksmithing + Mining
These combinations allow you to craft solid gear that you can wear yourself while also selling excess materials and crafted items. For players who want to treat themselves a little, it’s a solid choice.
Mining + Herbalism: If you want to earn a solid amount of gold on the side and do not want to bother with the auction house much, this combination of gathering professions is for you. You won’t be able to craft items, but you can mine almost everything you find in the wild. You can just put the ores and plants in the auction house during your next visit to the capital and have a solid, continuous cash flow without much effort.
Herbalism + Alchemy: Likewise, the combination of herbalism and alchemy is quite rewarding. Both professions can together create potions and flasks. Especially in the endgame, these are eagerly bought by nearly all players. However, you do need to invest a bit more time and keep an eye on the auction house. Prices for potions fluctuate significantly, especially right after a new raid is released.
Mining + Engineering: No other profession has as many toys and fun effects as engineering. Whether cool gliders, rocket boots, numerous teleportations, exploding sheep, or even a resurrection in combat – the engineer’s repertoire is vast. Mining provides most of the resources needed, but you will have to buy a few from the auction house.
Combos for Herbalism
Alchemy if you want to brew potions
Skinning or Mining if you want to earn gold

Blacksmithing for weapons and armor
Engineering for firearms and toys
Skinning or Herbalism if you want to earn gold
Combos for Skinning
Leatherworking for mail and leather armor
Herbalism or Mining if you want to earn gold
Combos for Alchemy
Herbalism if you want to supply yourself or the auction house with potions
any other professions if you are part of a raid guild
Alchemy has a special status in retail WoW. As an alchemist, you have the advantage that strengthening flasks last twice as long. Therefore, especially professional players in raids are often alchemists to save money. They then do gathering professions with secondary characters.
any other professions if you get resources elsewhere
Jewelcrafting has a special status in Burning Crusade. Since you can craft unique gems that only jewelers can wear, many progression players choose this profession regardless of their secondary profession.
Combos for Leatherworking
Skinning to supply yourself
Combos for Tailoring
Enchanting to disenchant crafted items
Alchemy for an advantage in raid
Skinning, Mining, or Herbalism
As a tailor, you do not need a gathering profession to supply yourself, so you can choose any profession that seems useful for your second profession. Enchanting is a commonly chosen pairing because you can disenchant crafted items directly and thus have materials for enchantments. But gathering professions are also popular for earning gold.
Secondary Professions in WoW – Archaeology, Fishing, Cooking, First Aid
In addition to your professions, you can learn three additional secondary professions. These do not count toward the limit of 2 simultaneous professions and usually stand on their own:
Archaeology rewards you with toys, mounts, and more for collecting relics
Fishing provides you with fish and is strong in combination with cooking since you save yourself the trouble of slaughtering wildlife
Previously, there was also First Aid, which was removed after Legion. Nowadays, tailors craft bandages that can heal slightly. This ability is no longer a standalone profession in retail.
If you play Classic, you can still learn First Aid – however, not Archaeology. Leveling here is worth it, as bandages often heal faster and more efficiently than food.
If you are new to WoW and are unsure which class you want to play in addition to your profession, here is help:
During a Twitch stream, Zack “Asmongold” looked at the statistics of the most talked-about games on Twitter. He was visibly surprised by the figures of Genshin Impact compared to Final Fantasy XIV and other games.
The “Best MMORPG Streamer” on Twitch found a statistic in his own subreddit that showed the top 10 of games. The data revealed how many tweets and retweets there were for each game.

What did Asmongold say about it? The streamer was quite astonished when he saw that Genshin Impact had been able to gather more than double the number of retweets as the MMORPG classic Final Fantasy XIV. He could only utter a surprised “Oh my God” (via YouTube).
He then discovered that Elden Ring only holds 5th place on the list, and World of Warcraft isn’t represented at all. “Is Genshin really that powerful? Is it really that big on Twitter?” he asked his viewers and had an intriguing idea.

Asmongold tests Genshin Impact’s power on Twitter
What did the streamer do? To test how strong Genshin Impact really is on Twitter, he himself wrote a tweet regarding the game. He just typed the title and sent the tweet. Asmongold stared at the post: “That was 2 seconds and it has 47 likes. That was 5 seconds and it has 200 likes. What? What? Why? What is this?”
The streamer acknowledged the “power” of Genshin Impact and then mentioned that he might eventually give the game a try. Previously, he had always avoided it because he was bothered by the Pay2Win aspect and the microtransactions.
For comparison, a few days later he posted a tweet with “Final Fantasy 14”; so far it has garnered 532 retweets and 9,429 likes. “Genshin Impact” has until now 1,163 retweets and 22,696 likes, so the numbers reflect the statistics very well.
Whether Asmongold will really try Genshin Impact is still unclear, but he sees the potential behind it and may eventually stream it in the future.
Dead by Daylight doubles the bloodpoints. This is not only worthwhile for veterans, but also for newcomers it is the perfect opportunity.
Update 04/14/2022: The event has changed. Instead of double bloodpoints, there are 100,000 bloodpoints for login every day.
Original story: Easter is just around the corner and with it the time begins in Dead by Daylight to hunt colorful eggs nasty survivors. The developers want to give you a little more incentive to play as killers or survivors during the Easter holidays. Bloodpoints are raining again, allowing all players to make significant progress much more quickly.
A leak reveals that a “Blood Hunt” is coming up in the next few days. So far, the leak account “DbDLeaks” on Twitter has always been right – and the timing also sounds plausible. However, keep in mind that an official announcement is still pending.

What kind of event is this? At more or less regular intervals, Dead by Daylight hosts a so-called “Blood Hunt”. During this event, the acquisition of bloodpoints is doubled for all players. This applies to all bloodpoints that you can earn during a match.
Exceptions to the bonus are bloodpoints that you receive through quests, challenges, or codes.
How long does the “Blood Hunt” last? The event runs over the entire Easter weekend, from April 14th to April 18th. You can benefit from the increased bloodpoints for this duration and stock up properly – either for immediate new unlocks or with the next new killer and survivors.
Why is this particularly good for newcomers? The entry into Dead by Daylight is relatively tough. This is not only due to the many subtleties and details that you only learn over hundreds of hours of gameplay but also because of the grind that is initially necessary. Most strong perks are tied to specific characters and are only accessible through unlocking for all characters. This unlocking is done through bloodpoints – so receiving double the amount is a pretty strong bonus for beginners.
Of course, the double bloodpoints are also worthwhile for veterans who want to complete their perk collection or unlock some of the particularly bloody “Prestige” skins.
Are the bonuses combinable? Yes. The 100% additional bloodpoints can be combined with all other bloodpoint bonuses. So if you also use offerings or perks that increase your bloodpoint gain, then that can be combined and increases your bloodpoints even further.
Keep in mind that the bonuses are additive and not multiplicative.
Will you catch some survivors over Easter or try to escape the killer? Or can such an event not excite you?

Bayern Munich has been eliminated from the Champions League. This also has an impact on FIFA 22 Ultimate Team for some fans.
What happened in real football: On Tuesday evening, April 12, Bayern Munich unexpectedly exited the Champions League.
After the German record champions had already fallen behind 0:1 against the Spanish FC Villarreal in the first leg, the 1:1 in the second leg was not enough to advance to the next round.
Although Robert Lewandowski had given Bayern the lead, which would have been enough for extra time, a second goal to turn things around just wouldn’t come – on the contrary. Samu Chukwueze completed a counter-attack just before the final whistle to make it 1:1 – leading to Bayern’s elimination from the competition.
This is also noticeable in FIFA 22: Two expensive, strong Bayern cards in Ultimate Team were directly tied to the result of the match.

Bayern’s RTTF cards in FIFA 22 crash
These are the cards: In Ultimate Team, there are so-called “Road-to-the-Final” cards. These cards get better the further the player’s team progresses in the real Champions League. Bayern has two: Corentin Tolisso and Lucas Hernández.
Both cards are strong, but there are no further upgrades
Both cards are strong, but a large part of their high price was due to the prospect of further upgrades. Many players had seen Bayern as the favorites against Villarreal – and must now face a significant drop in value.
The prices on the PlayStation transfer market are currently as follows (via futbin):
Tolisso’s card peaked at about 280,000 coins and already crashed to about 210,000 coins after the first leg. Since the elimination, he is now only at 74,000 coins (as of April 13, 2022).
Hernández once cost over 700,000 coins, then dropped to about 500,000. After last night’s defeat, he now stands at “only” 230,000 coins.
In both cases, while the prices might rise again in the coming days – after all, they are still good cards – the shock of the defeat has given the prices a significant blow.
“And suddenly I have, just like that, a 90-rated fodder,” writes a user in the FIFA subreddit (via reddit). In FIFA, “fodder” refers to players who no longer fit into one’s own team but are only used as material for Squad Building Challenges.
“Mine went directly into the Lahm SBC,” writes another user (via reddit). That was just unlocked in the FUT Captain event.
“Literally the only damn RTTF card I had was Tolisso. And Bayern managed to lose. I didn’t even check the halftime score, so I couldn’t sell at the 1:0 hype,” writes user akira136 (via reddit).
At the same time, there is criticism that FC Villarreal did not receive any RTTF card from EA – despite the fact that the club has already eliminated Juventus Turin during the current Champions League season.
What else is going on in FIFA 22? In addition to the ongoing Captains event, there will also be a new update in FIFA 22. Everything about Title Update 9 in FIFA 22 can be found here.

Twitch streamer Alpharad played Pokémon with his community in the stream, but then went to sleep. The viewers continued – and meanwhile they hatched him a rare monster using chat commands.
What happened in the stream? Alpharad played a format called Twitch-Plays-Pokémon in the stream. In the game, viewers can control the game with chat commands. With certain commands, they can for example make the character run.
As it got later, Alpharad decided to go to sleep. To allow his viewers to continue playing without having to interrupt because of him, he stayed live and let the game continue.
Alpharad’s viewers, who were playing the “Pokémon Crystal” edition, received a so-called Odd Egg in the meantime. They then hatched the egg and got a rare Shiny Pii.
On Twitter, Alpharad shared a video of the stream where the successful hatching of the Shiny Pii can be seen:
Alpharad shares the clip of the hatching via Twitter
Why is the Pokémon so rare?
The rarity of Shiny Pii: The Pokémon hatched through the chat is a Shiny Pii. Shinys or shiny Pokémon are common Pokémon in unusual colors that differ from the normal case.
Shiny Pokémon are considered very rare and are therefore coveted by many Pokémon players. The chance of obtaining a shiny Pokémon from an Odd Egg is increased and is at 14%.
Nonetheless, Alpharad can consider himself lucky. The chance of getting a Shiny Pii from the Odd Egg is only 3% (via Bulbapedia.net).
Shiny Pokémon are rare and coveted beings in the world of pocket monsters. It is indeed something special to own one or even several.
Since April 12, the Spring Event has been online in Pokémon GO. Just in time for the upcoming Easter festivities, you have the chance to benefit from new spawns and bonuses, alongside Shiny ones. MeinMMO author Franzi reveals what you need to know about the Spring Event of Pokémon GO.
Rabbits are a good source to quickly acquire food in New World. During the ongoing Easter event, these rabbits even become real killers and provide good loot. We reveal where you can find rabbits everywhere.
Where can you find rabbits in New World? Rabbits can basically be found everywhere in the game world, often hidden in the grass. Those who keep their eyes open will find a rabbit sooner or later.
However, there are also special rabbit spawn points in the world where an entire colony can sit together. These spawn points are particularly interesting for the currently ongoing Easter event, as you can earn new items and Diamond Gypsum through them.
These are the large rabbit spawns in New World
Where is the rabbit spawn in the Unstable Coast? The spawn point in the Unstable Coast is likely one of the most famous in the game. You can easily find it just north of the town, and it is even marked as a spawn point on the map because there is the Rabbit Island.
Where is the rabbit spawn in Everfall? In Everfall, many rabbits simply appear around the town. There, you just have to wander through the grass. Another popular spawn point is to the left in the area Torn Coast:
Where is the rabbit spawn in First Light? In First Light, you can find some rabbits directly north of the settlement:
Where is the rabbit spawn in Brightwood? In Brightwood, you need to follow the road from the settlement southbound. At the Uncanny, there is a larger rabbit spawn.
Where is the rabbit spawn in Weaver’s Fen? In Weaver’s Fen, you need to go into the triangle of Brackwater and Unstable Coast. There, you can also find some rabbits.
Do you know any other good places to farm rabbits? And what do you think of the new Easter event? Feel free to write it in the comments.

On April 14, the weekly update of Lost Ark will be released, but players are already disappointed. Although the developers are accommodating fans, many players feel the lack of content. We at MeinMMO summarize.
Update 12:20: Surprisingly early and already after about 3.5 hours, the servers are back online. Originally, an 8-hour maintenance was announced.
What’s in the update? This week, the weekly update of Lost Ark is once again a bit smaller than we are used to. Nevertheless, the patch brings new gifts for you in the MMORPG and extends the login rewards for this month.
With this, Amazon and Smilegate respond to a discussion that flared up this week in the forum and on reddit. Players felt punished by the fact that there are too few gifts for their taste.
Otherwise, the update leaves much to be desired. Neither the still incorrect in-game clock was fixed, nor do new contents find their way into the game.
You can find the full content of today’s update here:
Some preparations are being made in the backend of the MMORPG to prepare the game for the contents of the coming weeks.
The login event is being extended by one week and 6 new rewards, and now ends on April 21.
The 6 rewards consist of a total of 500,000 silver, 3 combat item chests, 30 Phoenix feathers, 2x fusion material boxes, 3x jump essences, and 5 tickets to complete daily tasks immediately.
The update has received little support in the community so far. Because the bug that shows incorrect event times since the clock change in Lost Ark will not be fixed this week either. However, it was announced in the patch two weeks ago that work is being done on it. Furthermore, many players were expecting the new class and the new continent.
How long will the maintenance last? The servers will be taken offline at 9:00 AM German time and are expected to be offline for 8 hours. So you can only start again at 5:00 PM at the earliest.
We will keep you updated on the maintenance work in this article.
What do the fans say? Under the tweet announcing the update, the very first reactions to the patch notes are not very positive. Many fans are upset that the clock bug has still not been fixed. However, most players are more annoyed that the big April update is also not coming this week.
However, some players have hope that the patch next week will finally introduce the new class, the Lance Bearer, into the game. Users had this hope for this week as well because many expected that with the end of the login event, the big update would come. Since this update has been postponed by a week, some players are now expecting the patch next week.
Others praise Amazon for improving the game, even if in small steps, every week. They argue that you can’t expect something super exciting every week.

MightyKaseroo writes: ‘Oh man, this post is getting so much hate, I should have gotten popcorn. But let’s be fair, none of us thought they would release the April update in the last week of April.’
Eike sees it more positively: ‘Then at least I have more time to farm materials for my Lance Bearer, that’s nice too. I can hardly wait for the end of the month.’

Lost Ark has a Battle Pass in Korea and shows in a new developer video that it might soon come to us in the western version. We would like to know what you think about a Battle Pass and have created a survey for this.
What is the Battle Pass all about? In a video about the new season in Lost Ark, the text for a Battle Pass is briefly shown in the menu. Additionally, there are several places where the Ark Pass is visible. It is very likely that this refers to the same content.
The Battle Pass for the western version is unlikely to be a big surprise. Because there is already a Battle Pass in Korea, even in three versions:
A free version.
A premium version for around 20 euros.
A super premium version, which includes 500 additional blue crystals, an exclusive outfit, and a weapon skin. The pass costs around 50 euros.
The pass has 30 levels that you can climb by completing various tasks. Every 5 levels, there is a particularly interesting reward, such as a skin, a card pack, or exclusive pets.
The Ark Pass is visible here.
What tasks await in the Battle Pass? To reach new levels, you need to complete tasks that you would mostly do anyway, including:
Complete a raid
Do a dungeon
Kill bosses
This is primarily about additional rewards for completing typical tasks in the MMORPG.
Will you buy the Battle Pass? Since the pass has already caused considerable discussion in previous news, we would like to know from you now whether you will buy the Battle Pass or not.
You can cast your vote as usual in the survey tool below. Everyone has only one vote and the choice cannot be undone:
So tell us: What is your opinion on the Battle Pass? What speaks for or against it for you? How do you see the general development of Battle Passes in service games? Feel free to write this in the comments.
The Battle Pass is currently not part of the roadmap. This provides an outlook on the contents in April and May:
Since the release of CoD Vanguard, one of the biggest criticisms from the community has been the poor spawns. The latest update is supposed to finally improve this – yet the players are not satisfied. They demand even more improvements for the entire game. MeinMMO tells you more.
On the evening of April 12, Sledgehammer Games, the developer of CoD Vanguard, introduced a long-awaited improvement to the WW2 shooter.
After some test playlists and a survey, they have adjusted the spawn system in the game. On Twitter, the developers write that “with your feedback and the data we were able to analyze from the game, the spawn adjustments have proven to be an improvement”:

However, the community is not satisfied. On social media, they complain that the spawns are still poor – and that the game has many other issues. They are calling for significantly more changes in the game.
Vanguard has “the worst spawn system in CoD history”
What is the problem? Players who have been killed in CoD Vanguard often spawn too close to an enemy for their next life. This frequently leads to a “death spiral,” where one death leads directly into the next, leaving the player unable to properly defend themselves.
Even before the release of CoD Vanguard, the spawn system was one of the biggest points of criticism. Players referred to it as “likely the worst spawn system in CoD history” (via reddit).
This clip from the perspective of a user suffering from poor spawns illustrates how bad it can be:

Especially on small maps like Das Haus and Shipment, the spawns are an incredibly annoying problem. According to the developers, the latest update is supposed to help here, but the players are not convinced.
How is the community reacting? There is hardly any praise for the change in the community. Instead, there is a lot of disbelief that anything has actually improved:
@darryljoyzce1 says on Twitter: “Yeah, no, nothing has improved. The spawns for Das Haus and Shipment are still completely messed up.”
@JONNYTEE2010 says: “What a joke, I’m literally playing 4v4 on Dome and still spawning in front of or behind people, every update makes it worse.”
@freebandztrev writes: “lol try harder, I’m still a monster and destroying people at spawn.”
The developers’ analysis tools apparently show that the latest update is supposed to have brought improvements. But skeptical comments like these from the community reveal that not much has changed for the fans during gameplay.
There is also a lot of criticism about many other aspects of the game. Instead of praise for the changes, players are demanding improvements for latency issues, weapon balancing, or map rotations.
Cheating is also a major point of criticism. Here, the community desires a better solution, as unfair cheaters are present even at the highest level. Recently, a well-known player was exposed:
The last 4th challenge in the raid “Oath of the Student” was in Destiny 2 and players could secure another extra loot box. MeinMMO explains what the challenge “Loop Catalyst” is and especially how to master the challenge optimally.
What is a raid challenge? Each raid in Destiny 2 is already a demanding group activity and part of the endgame. Players face tricky puzzles together, overcome jumping passages, to ultimately defeat the final boss. This promises prestigious weapons and armor that can only be found there.
For those who find this already reasonable challenge not enough, they can face a so-called challenge or challenge in a raid every week. While they still include the classic raid mechanics, they also restrict certain playstyles. Depending on which challenge is currently active, one often has to adjust their playstyle slightly to master it.
All challenges usually take place in a specific raid encounter or phase. In the raid “Oath of the Student”, there are a total of four such encounters – the jumping passages are usually excluded from the challenges. They rotate every week but not in random order.
How to succeed in the challenge “Loop Catalyst”
This is the fourth encounter with the final boss: If you plan to play the raid challenge “Loop Catalyst”, your goal is the fourth phase in the raid “Oath of the Student”, which is at Rhulk, the final boss of the raid.
Previously, you had to pick up special bounties from Hawthorne for this, but that has changed. The challenge is automatically active at the start of the raid. You will see the corresponding information about which challenge is currently active at the bottom left when you start the raid. Additionally, MeinMMO will also inform you in the Destiny 2 weekly resets in the future.
Here’s how to succeed in the challenge: To complete the challenge “Loop Catalyst”, your team must maintain at least one stack of the buff “Siphoning Strength” before the damage phase on Rhulk.
Seen this way, it’s not really a big challenge, as this is already part of the usual strategy for most teams. The challenge can even be completed quite easily in a 3-player fireteam as long as the Guardian distributing the buff maintains it at any time.
If it fails nevertheless, you will see the notification “Challenge failed”. To try again, you can all die and the encounter will restart.
In this video, you can see the completion of the challenge “Loop Catalyst”, and Destiny 2 player IPhiniX will give you some tips:

How to secure the 4th challenge in the raid Oath of the Student
Tips for the challenge
Even if it sounds simple, we still have a few tips for you. You should proceed carefully when sharing the buff, as the final boss likes to focus its gaze on the center while you are on the plate.
Your raid team should keep an eye on the buff timers and always try not to die when you have your “Siphoning Strength” active. Especially in the first part of the encounter, this will be important, as you may need longer than the 45 seconds duration of the buff.
Once the final boss Rhulk starts climbing the stairs, you can execute your normal final boss strategy. Basically, that’s all you need to pay attention to, so it can be said that “Loop Catalyst” is one of the easiest raid challenges in Oath of the Student.
All challenges from the raid “Oath of the Student”:
What do you get as a reward? If you successfully complete the challenge, there’s bonus loot and it’s worth it. In addition to the standard chest at the end of the encounter, another box will appear after a short time. This also contains high-end gear. So you should always try to carry the challenges in the raid.
In Destiny 2, you can slightly influence the desired loot, as each encounter offers very specific loot.
With the final boss Rhulk, after a successful run, you have a chance at the raid exotic “Group Pressure”, an exotic pulse rifle.
Additionally, these weapons and armor can also drop in the final encounter:
Pulse rifle “Deceitful”, the glaive “Lubrae’s Ruin”, and the grenade launcher “Aftermath”
Armor: “Resonance Fury” helmet, “Resonance Fury” gauntlets, and the “Resonance Fury” mark.
You can find an overview of all available weapons and armor in the raid here:
Do you enjoy such challenges to get extra loot? Or is just the normal run enough for you? If you have already mastered the challenge “Loop Catalyst”, we would be pleased if you share your experiences and let us know in the comments how difficult you found this challenge.

In Destiny 2 there are new challenges in the current raid “The Oryx’s Curse”. We explain to you what that is exactly and, above all, how to master the 3rd challenge “Defense Failure”.
What is a raid challenge? All raids in Destiny 2 are a demanding group activity and thus belong to the endgame. Players face tricky puzzles in raids, overcome jumping passages, to ultimately kill the toughest bosses, who drop prestigious weapons and armor.
For those who find that not enough, they can take on a so-called challenge in a raid. These challenges still include the classic raid mechanics but also restrict certain play styles, so that you often have to adjust your team tactics to master them.
All challenges typically occur in a specific raid encounter or a phase. In the raid “Oryx’s Curse” there are a total of four such encounters – the jumping passages are excluded.

How to succeed in the challenge “Defense Failure”
This is the third encounter: The raid challenge “Defense Failure” takes place in the third phase of the Witch Queen raid “The Oryx’s Curse” at the relics.
Previously, you had to pick up special bounties from Hawthorne for this, but that has changed. The challenge is active automatically when starting the raid. You will see the corresponding information at the bottom left when you start the raid.
To specifically complete the challenge “Defense Failure”, you may only kill one Taken Knight with your relic. If that fails, you will get the message “Challenge Failed”. To try again, you can simply let everyone die to restart the encounter.
To give you a visual idea of how the challenge “Defense Failure” is completed and works, we recommend the video from IPhiniX.

The challenge can be easily managed if you have already determined the “runners” and their order before starting the phase. So, coordinate when it’s your turn to kill a knight. For this, you need to swap the laser artifact in the various rooms once each to defeat the knights and master the challenge.
Players also report a total of seven knights that can spawn, but each member of the fireteam may only eliminate one knight. So, in this case, you need to leave one knight alive and proceed through the next rooms.
What is the reward? If you successfully master the challenge, there is bonus loot. Besides the standard chest at the end of the encounter, another chest will appear after a short time. This one also contains top-tier equipment. It’s worth taking on the effort.
Since each encounter offers you special loot, this means that for this challenge you can earn either the “Resonance Fury” chest piece or the boots, or you get the submachine gun “Subjugation” and the fusion rifle “Redemption”.
Do you like taking on such challenges for extra loot, or do you prefer a normal run? If you have already completed the challenge, we would be happy if you share your experiences in the comments and let us know how difficult you found this challenge.

Currently, a player in the Elden Ring community is particularly celebrated. This player has named themselves “Let me solo her” in the game, which means something like “Let me kill her alone” in German. They have taken it upon themselves to take down Malenia, one of the toughest bosses, for other players – Alone, naked, and wearing only a pot on their head.
What kind of boss is this? Malenia is one of the hardest bosses in the late game of the action RPG:
Malenia has very fast and powerful attack combos that can be deadly with just a few hits.
Additionally, she restores her own health with hits.
As if that wasn’t enough, she has a second phase, where she replenishes her health.
Then her attack pattern also changes, and she attacks you with the status effect Scarlet Rot.
Many players have trouble with her. But the player Klein Tsuboi has made it his mission to help them. As “Let me solo her” he not only stands by other players.
He kills Malenia solo, without armor, and only with a pot on his head. The community is already celebrating him as a legend, his video has gained a lot of attention on reddit .
Here you can see him kill Malenia without taking damage while two other players watch:

Naked warrior kills Malenia for others – “A champion among men”
Why is this so special? Aside from the fact that the boss is already considered difficult, Klein Tsuboi makes it even harder for himself.
Because without armor, he can’t take much damage. Moreover, the health points of bosses scale with the number of co-op partners. Thus, Malenia can withstand significantly more than she would otherwise.
As the video shows, Klein Tsuboi has no problem with Malenia’s attack pattern. He manages to avoid taking any damage throughout the entire fight.
This way he can gradually add frost and bleed damage to Malenia. He himself writes:
If you have played Elden Ring and tried to fight Malenia on PC, you may have encountered a summon named “Let me solo her”. I have helped countless tarnished defeat Malenia by going in naked except for a pot on my head. […] My sign will always be down for desperate tarnished.
This is how players react to his idea: The community is hard on Klein Tsuboi. A commenter on YouTube, for example, DaitoByte writes: “A champion among men. A hero in the dark. Legends are told of the man who wears nothing but a pot and wields two blades. The goddess of rot can only flee from the one who bears the name: Let me solo her!”
Many in the community are happy when players take such measures to support others. They also praise how easily he takes down Malenia.
On reddit OneOfManyDucks writes: “Is that it? Is that the legendary “git gud” that people talk about?” To which realfakedoors000 responds: “This man is born ‘gud’.”
shidmaster64 reminisces about a similar hero: “This guy reminds me of a guy when WoW first came out. A player named Swampy, an orc warrior, […] helped newbies and warded off alliance gankers. A true hero.”
Players also exchange their own stories and experiences in Elden Ring, discussing how to overcome certain areas or which tactics and builds work particularly well.
Klein Tsuboi’s post has now received over 1400 comments and around 29,000 upvotes (as of April 13, 12:57 PM). His YouTube video is also extremely successful and has over 85,000 views. Normally, his uploads there receive only a few clicks; his last video is 2 years old. Now the YouTuber has probably gained many new fans.
What do you think of the story? Have you perhaps even encountered him yourself? What has happened to you in Elden Ring? Feel free to share your experiences with us.
