The YouTuber Marc “Thats.Me.” Eggers interviewed various big influencers from the German scene during the big boxing event “The Great Fight Night”. He asked them how much money they currently have in their accounts – surprisingly honestly, some of the influencers responded.
Many fans often wonder how much their favorite influencers earn. A past Twitch leak revealed that well-known streamers like Knossi or MontanaBlack earned over 2 million euros within 2 years from Twitch alone.
Now, Marc Eggers has made it his task to question the content creators, and these were the results (via YouTube):
Other well-known personalities like Kelly “missesvlog” and Tanzverbot were also asked, but they did not reveal how their accounts currently look. In any case, both mention that the tax office has taken a lot from them.
More current topics about influencers and co. on MeinMMO
Other influencers like Julien Bam and Tanzverbot also said that they have too little money for their upcoming projects or reach.
Aaron Troschke is even 1.2 million euros in the red and showed Eggers his account balance because he could hardly believe it. The interviewer then asked: “Why are you in such a mess?” To which Troschke replied: “Oh, no, I’ve got real estate that are worth more than your life.”

MontanaBlack struggles with tax payments. He is apparently heavily invested in crypto.
MontanaBlack also noted that he invests in other things since the money in his account is not increasing. Amar and Marius Angeschrien, meanwhile, are investing in their studios, productions, and videos, and that is probably why they do not have much money in their accounts anymore.
It was also about a lot of money with Twitch streamer Mizkif:
The MMORPG Lord of the Rings Online has made some changes to celebrate its 15th anniversary. Gifts have been given out and more content has been made available for free. This is paying off directly. The game has doubled its player numbers on Steam and is doing as well as it did last in January 2013.
What exactly has changed? With Update 33, which was launched for the 15th anniversary, all content that was released between the 2007 launch and the Helm’s Deep expansion in November 2013 has become free.
The content includes:
The classes Rune Keeper, Warden, and Beorning.
The race of High Elves.
Shadows of Angmar from the base game.
The expansions Mines of Moria, Rise of Isengard, Riders of Rohan, and Helm’s Deep.
All of them brought new quests, new areas, and a new max level, as well as some new instances and a raid.
Was there also new content? Yes, for veterans, the new region Yondershire, also known as “Far Auen”, was released.
Player numbers on Steam double compared to the previous month
What impact does this have on player numbers? The free content and the gifts have led to a significant increase in player numbers, at least on Steam.
In March 2022, a peak of 1,585 players were online simultaneously, and this number rose to 3,760 players in April, marking the second-best value for the game ever. Only on June 16, 2012, shortly after the Steam release, did Lord of the Rings Online peak at 3,965 players all-time high (via SteamDB).
The trend of player numbers on Steam (via SteamDB). Already in 2020, many players came to Lord of the Rings Online due to the COVID restrictions.
How many players are actively playing Lord of the Rings Online? It’s hard to say how high the overall player numbers are, but a large part of the community will be using the client outside of Steam, which has been available for download on the game’s website for 5 years longer.
Did everything go smoothly with this big update? No, shortly after the release, players noticed serious bugs, including issues with legendary items. The developers reacted and implemented a rollback. Nearly 16 hours of progress were lost.
But aside from that, the update is being very well received. Especially the gifts are praised by the players:
In FIFA 22 Icon Swaps 3 is now live. But how can one get the coveted tokens the fastest? We will share with you 3 tips to effectively collect tokens.
What are Icon Swaps anyway? Icon Swaps is a way in FUT 22 to obtain Legend cards without having to exchange coins or cards. By completing a series of time-consuming tasks, it is possible to collect so-called Icon Swap Tokens and exchange them for various Icon rewards.
Now Icon Swaps is entering its third round, and you can once again choose between different Icon cards, Icon packs, Icon player picks, or regular packs. We have summarized more about the really strong rewards from Icon Swaps 3 here for you:
3 Tips for Icon Swaps 3 – How to get tokens faster
The tasks in Icon Swaps 3: To earn the Icon Swap tokens, a lot of matches need to be played again, where a total of 9 tokens can be collected by May 23, 2022 (From May 23, 9 more tokens will be added to the game).
The tasks take place as always in Squad Battles, the Weekend League, as well as in FUT friendlies and require you to win a ton of games with cards of certain nationalities or leagues.
And since this can be quite time-consuming and exhausting, it’s worth having a good strategy ready.
1. Plan your Icon Swap 3 journey carefully
Take a close look at the rewards and it’s best to plan which cards and packs you want to earn. For example, if you are on the hunt for George Best for 9 tokens and an Icon Moments Pack (93+) for 8 tokens, you know that you need a total of 17 out of the 18 available tokens.
So you can leave a tough task aside and have fewer FUT matches ahead of you.
Additionally, it is helpful to consider the most sensible combinations. For example, the following options look exciting:
George Best + Icon Moments Pack (93+) for a total of 17 tokens
Samuel Eto’o + 85+-x20-Pack + 83+-x25-Pack for a total of 18 tokens
And if you want to collect packs for the upcoming TOTS, it makes sense to get these packs for 11 tokens and open them during the TOTS event:
1 Token: 82+-x25-Pack
2 Tokens: 83+-x25-Pack
3 Tokens: 84+-x25-Pack
5 Tokens: 85+-x20-Pack
2. Build a team to complete as many tasks at once as possible
Especially the Squad Battles tasks where you have to complete matches against the AI can quickly become monotonous work. Therefore, it is advisable to aim to complete multiple tasks at once, ideally unlocking 3 tokens with 6 matches.
Therefore, it makes sense to build a team (if possible) consisting of the following cards:
11 Silver cards,
that come from Brazil or England and
that you own as first owners.
Also, note that for these Squad Battles tasks it’s only about the starting formation. Once the game is underway, you can immediately substitute your top strikers to make the tasks a bit easier.
3. Use Golden Goals in friendlies
Last year, there was an exciting development among FUT players who completed their Icon Swaps tasks in friendlies. Many players, after conceding a goal, immediately left the game, thus giving the opponent the victory. This quickly spread, and friendlies could be completed much faster with this Golden Goal method.
This will be practiced again in this FUT year (via reddit) and players are helping each other with Golden Goals again to earn the friendlies tokens as quickly as possible. So it’s best to join in if you want to earn their tokens quickly. And don’t be too upset if not every player seems to know the “community rule”.
Everything you need to know about TOTS is explained here:
Raids in Dragonflight will be easier – at least for the mythic raiders in World of Warcraft. They are expected to finish the raid in fewer days.
It was an exhausting race for the “World First Kill” of the Jailer in World of Warcraft. The best guilds in the world tried to defeat Zovaal first and spent millions of gold to gain every possible advantage. However, in the end, some ran out of steam. The raid was long, the race tiring, and some professional teams simply gave up.
With the next expansion Dragonflight, the races are expected to become a bit shorter.
What is the problem? Balancing raid bosses is a quite complex issue, especially in the mythic area. Differences of just a few percent can turn a “fairly challenging boss” into an “unsurmountable” or “much too easy” one. Moreover, professional guilds often come up with special strategies or class combinations that simply cannot all be tested in advance.
This leads to progress in the mythic “World First Race” not always going as Blizzard envisioned. Some bosses die off far too quickly, while others prove to be insurmountable obstacles.
To keep the event exciting for both raiders and spectators, Blizzard needs to hit the right point.
What has been said? In a interview with PCGamesN, the Game Director of WoW, Ion Hazzikostas, spoke about exactly this issue. He said:
[The race in the Mausoleum] took a bit longer than we would have liked. The ideal length is somewhere between 10 and 11 days. […] Hitting exactly that point, from the perspective of boss tuning, is difficult. Creating fights that are challenging enough to test the best guilds, but that don’t fall over too quickly and aren’t too hard, is more of an art than a science in many respects.
Regarding Dragonflight, plans are to ensure that the raids are “not in a length [range] that is unhealthy or frustrating, nor that diminishes the enjoyment of the participants and spectators.”
Why was the Mausoleum so hard? The special feature about the Mausoleum of the First was that the raid, with 11 bosses, was not only quite extensive but also had effectively 2 “final bosses”. Anduin Wrynn (boss 8) was equipped with so many mechanics that he felt like a real final boss. Accordingly, the fight against him turned out to be quite tough, which led Blizzard to numerous nerfs within a few days.
Additionally, some features, such as “Double Legendaries”, were only unlocked during the race, leading to a significant increase in character power. These were factors that contributed to the fights becoming significantly more manageable only after nearly 2 weeks for the professionals.
At least: With Dragonflight, the raids are expected to be a little easier to manage, providing mythic raiders with a somewhat more pleasant event. However, it should not be expected that the raids will be truly “easy”.
Do you think it’s good that Blizzard is keeping an eye on the World-First race? Or should they turn it into an official event?

The PvP in Final Fantasy XIV is currently experiencing a surge in popularity, but there are also problems. The head of the MMORPG, Naoki Yoshida, warns players about malicious behavior and threatens with bans.
In short:
With Patch 6.1 at the beginning of April, major revisions of the PvP in FFXIV came, as well as the new competitive mode Crystalline Conflict.
This led to a significant increase in activity in the PvP hub of the game. The new mode has been praised for its quick fun and even attracted players who previously hesitated to engage in PvP.
However, the first problems quickly became apparent. Aside from questionable job balance such as Samurai or Warrior, there was a wave of griefing during the matches.
Players gave up and stood idly by or let themselves be killed. Others spammed incessantly normally friendly text commands like “Good game” or “Well done,” which were obviously meant sarcastically when the group was losing.
Now the head of the MMORPG, Naoki Yoshida, addresses the behavior and warns players to refrain from such actions.

Final Fantasy XIV shows new trailer for the start of the next adventure
Bans for Griefing even outside of FFXIV
This is what Yoshida says: In a blog post, the head of the MMORPG addresses the community with a request to refrain from griefing behavior. Since the launch of the new patch, there has been a “never-before-seen amount” of reports of bad behavior in PvP, according to Yoshida. A warning is now being issued against this.
Players who behave “uncooperatively” in matches or deliberately lose matches must expect penalties. The same applies to players who continuously spam Quick Chat messages like “Well done,” “Good game,” or “Thank you” during matches.
The chat is disabled in the competitive mode Crystalline Conflict. Players can only communicate through such Quick Chat commands and markers. It has frequently happened that these commands were used in a sarcastic sense for griefing, especially when a team was losing.
According to Yoshida, it is not just the spamming of sarcastic “Good game” commands, but any form of spam in PvP that is punishable. This also includes:
Setting off fireworks while standing over the corpse of an opponent
Generally spamming an emote over a corpse (similar to teabagging)
Direct verbal attacks on other players via chat outside of matches
Attacks on other players outside of the game, e.g., on social media
Yoshida adds that this list is by no means exhaustive and each reported case will be reviewed individually by the Game Masters.
These penalties will be imposed: When such a report is received by the team, the chat logs will first be checked to confirm the behavior. Depending on the maliciousness of the behavior, penalties will range from 3 to 20 days of suspension.
If repeated violations and reports occur, a permanent account ban is also possible.
Here are some additional problems: In addition to griefing, cheating is also emerging as a significant issue. Players reported matches in the first week where their opponents were immune to CC effects or used speed hacks.
Screenshots from Discords where such mods and hacks are being spread are also circulating on social media and YouTube, causing frustration among players.

It remains to be seen how the dev team will handle the cheating situation in Crystalline Conflict. The previous competitive mode, FEAST, was notorious for cheating and win-trading for years.
The latest patch 6.11, which went live on April 26, brought various balance adjustments for PvP. The powerful classes Warrior, Samurai, and Red Mage received some nerfs, while others were buffed.
The Twitch streamer Felix “xQc” Lengyel was upset about how his streamer colleague Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo talked about a casino deal worth 9.3 million euros. He said that Mizkif’s behavior was “absolutely disgusting.”
This is the situation:
Mizkif talked in a past stream about receiving an offer from a casino website. They offered him 9.3 million euros (10 million USD) a year if he gambles for 15 hours a month in the casino and shows it live on Twitch.
However, he declined the offer, although he was tempted to accept it. The money could have completely changed his life, the lives of future generations, and those of his family. He could have donated to charity, Mizkif said.
The vast majority of Mizkif’s viewers encouraged him to accept the deal and called him stupid for not doing so.
xQc calls his behavior “absolutely disgusting,” as Mizkif, according to xQc, had previously taken a high moral ground and thrown everyone else under the bus when it came to casino streams.
What else does xQc say? He finds it incredible that Mizkif is now the first one to talk again about casino streams and expresses himself so ambivalently. In the past, Mizkif spoke quite negatively about such deals and casino streams:
It’s almost like: The higher you go, the lower your moral values.
He was referring to the amount of offers from casino websites and how far one goes as a streamer to promote them and accept such offers.
xQc states that Mizkif had spoken from a high horse, was always against such casino streams, and indirectly attacked him and his fellow streamer Trainwreck, who also accepted sponsored casino deals in the past.
In this Twitch clip, you can hear xQc’s statement about Mizkif:

I’m pretty sure he threw everyone under the bus at the end of the whole casino drama – really everyone – and took the safe route. It looked like he was above everyone else and that we were a bunch of fools on the ground. He tried to point fingers at us and bring us down. Now he is the first one to backtrack. Damn, that’s absolutely disgusting.
xQc
xQc also criticizes the viewers: He doesn’t understand why most viewers are now on Mizkif’s side. The vast majority are in favor of the streamer accepting the deal, but for xQc himself and for Trainwreck, sponsored casino streams were frowned upon.
Even if the two do not make sponsored casino streams these days and just play for fun, even issuing warnings, they receive massive criticism.
Some in the chat speculated whether Mizkif talked about the deal to prepare his community for future casino streams – xQc agreed with the speculation in the chat. According to him, there is no reason to even bring up this topic. He doesn’t understand why Mizkif talked about the deal.
xQc believes that one should stay on the high horse when one throws one’s fellow streamers under the bus and not suddenly capitulate; that’s just “absolutely disgusting behavior.”
In Pokémon GO, today, April 26, the Spotlight Hour is featuring Kinoso in its Sunny Form. Here you can find all the information about the start and the bonuses of the event.
What kind of event is this? The Spotlight Hour takes place regularly on Tuesdays in Pokémon GO. For 60 minutes, the focus is on one Pokémon that appears significantly more often during this hour.
Today’s event revolves around the Grass Pokémon Kinoso in its Sunny Form. The evolution of the Cherry Pokémon Kikugi can be found at every corner of the wilderness. Additionally, there is an XP bonus during the hour.
Spotlight Hour on April 26 with Kinoso – Content
When does it start? As usual, the Spotlight Hour starts at 6:00 PM local time. It lasts exactly one hour and ends at 7:00 PM.
These bonuses are available: Basically, the spawn rate of Kinoso in its Sunny Form is increased. Also, you can typically attract the event Pokémon more effectively with the Incense item.
Most notably, the XP bonus is interesting: During the Spotlight Hour, you receive double XP for all Pokémon you catch. You can double this number again if you use a Lucky Egg during the Spotlight Hour.
However, Kinoso in its Sunny Form is not necessarily easy to catch and can defend itself well when you want to catch it. The bonus applies to all Pokémon.
Is there Shiny Kinoso? Generally, Shiny Kinoso has been available in the game since the shiny Kikugi was added during the “Environmental Week”. Thus, its evolution is also available as a shiny Pokémon. However, it is still uncertain whether Shiny Kinoso can be encountered in the wild and thus during the Spotlight Hour.
This is what the shiny family of Kikugi and Kinoso looks like
Is the Spotlight Hour worth it today?
How strong will it be: Kinoso does not play a significant role in Pokémon GO battles. You might still use it as an option in the Super League in PvP, but that’s about it. In raids, there are clearly better attackers in Pokémon GO.
Thus, the Spotlight Hour is primarily worth it if you still lack a Kinoso in its Sunny Form in your collection. This can definitely be the case since the Kikugi evolution randomly determines which form you get.
Otherwise, Kinoso is not particularly interesting. The XP bonus might be exciting for players looking to level up – but it should be noted that Kinoso is not easy to hold in the ball.
Additionally, a change to Mega Evolutions has been made in Pokémon GO. You can find out everything about the new Mega Evolutions here.

After a strong start, Halo Infinite has increasingly struggled with problems. The long-awaited roadmap for 2022 is not well received by players. The developers are postponing long-awaited features like co-op to prevent team burnout. However, fans are not satisfied with the explanation.
After 6 months of Season 1, Season 2 of Halo Infinite will be released on May 3rd. It is called “Lone Wolves” and will bring new cosmetics, 2 new maps, and 4 new game modes.
You can see it live in action in this trailer:
Roadmap for 2022 Angers Fans
What else is to come? With the announcement of Season 2, developer 343 Industries also shared a roadmap for 2022. This lists several things that players are urgently asking for:
Season 2 with new modes and maps
Season 3 on November 8, also with new modes and maps
New items
New story developments
The Forge, allowing players to create their own maps and modes

What exactly annoys the fans? Although many important changes and innovations have been announced, fans have noticed something.
Not only is Season 2 again 6 months long, which even journalists like Paul Tassi see as a major problem (via Twitter). Players are particularly upset that the Forge and co-op have been postponed again, this time to an indefinite date.
Developers Want to “Stay Healthy”, Players Demand More Content
How do the developers explain the delay? The developers explain this delay in a blog post due to health concerns. In the gaming industry, “crunch” has been a significant and widespread problem for years.
Developers are indirectly or directly forced to work too many overtime hours, leading to severe burnout. Their health and personal relationships suffer greatly under these circumstances – it has even led to the death of developers.
To avoid crunch, 343 Industries wants to take things “slower now to stay healthy and be able to work faster later” (via halowaypoint.com). That’s why popular features like co-op and the Forge have been postponed once again and indefinitely.
How do players react? Even though some fans show understanding, this explanation does not convince all players. In a reddit post regarding the roadmap, many negative comments can be found, complaining about the developers and mourning the progression of the Halo franchise.
Because even a battle royale mode for Halo Infinite was rejected in the past. But insiders say that something is still coming.

The new sandbox MMORPG Fractured has started its beta. In it, a guild has deliberately used hacks for the game and gained unfair advantages. Members of this guild have now been permanently banned, even for the finished MMORPG. This step is being discussed in the community.
A hardcore guild that has been very active in the MMORPG found a memory hack that allowed them to unlock over 200 talent points. The game actually only offers 60 per character.
Instead of reporting this bug, they exploited it to gain advantages in PvP during the beta. The head of Fractured responded and had the players permanently banned.
This action has now sparked discussions: Are beta testers who should discover bugs in the game allowed to be banned?
Errors must be reported and not exploited
What does the head say exactly? In a statement from Jacopo Pietro Gallelli, the head of Fractured, it is stated that the beta should be used to uncover bugs and hacks. This is an important part of the beta.
However, these bugs should then be reported to the developers and not used for personal gain. Those who do not do this may face bans of days or even permanent bans.
Statement from the head of Fractured (via Discord).
How are the players reacting? Differently. A majority in the MMORPG subreddit supports the decision of the developers. For instance, the user firey21 states:
I think the developers did the right thing. The purpose of the beta is to test and find problems to report them… not to exploit them. Why should we keep people in a beta who do not report problems when there are others waiting to uncover issues?
Others say that not every bug or exploit needs to be reported, but those who gain access to the memory of a game with external tools and do not report it would use such hacks even in the later release state of the game. Therefore, a ban is justified.
However, there are also opposing opinions. Some users in the subreddit see the developers as responsible for fixing the discovered issues. Just because a player does not report them, they should not be banned. If there is to be a ban, then for the beta, but not for the finished MMORPG.
It is currently unclear whether the guild actually reported the bug. According to their own statement, they claim this already happened in 2020 during an alpha, but the developers supposedly did not respond since then. This part has not yet been commented on by the head.

New sandbox MMORPG starts the closed beta in a few days – Here’s how to participate
Guild wishes for more PvP and complains about PvE players
What kind of guild is this? The hackers and exploiters are said to be quite well known in Fractured. They are upset about the direction the MMORPG is taking:
They are hardcore PvP players who would like to see more PvP in Fractured. PvE carebears are ruining the game.
However, the developers decided that in the current human world, players who have disabled PvP can be attacked but keep their gear. Those who attack PvE players without cause will receive a debuff and may end up in jail upon death, losing all their gear.
The guild is said to have already complained loudly about this in the official Discord and also in the in-game chat.
What do you think about the developers’ decision? Do you find the ban justifiable or are you more on the side of the players? And what do you think of Fractured in general? Does the MMORPG seem promising?
For those who have not yet delved deeply into Fractured, here is a list of all features and special characteristics:
The streaming service Netflix is currently facing significant problems, which is why the service has announced that it will be canceling or not continuing some animated series. Fans of the LoL series Arcane are particularly concerned about this. However, Riot, the developer of League of Legends, has now commented on the situation.
What is the situation? Netflix recently released its financial report for the first quarter of 2022. This highlighted issues faced by the streaming service that it must respond to.
Netflix had planned an increase of 2.5 million subscribers for the first three months of 2022, but lost about 200,000 during this period.
April 20 is highlighted as the worst day in Netflix’s history, considering the stock values.
In response, Netflix decided to significantly cut the budget for animated series. This affects both ongoing series and planned titles.
Even the head of Netflix Animation and his team were fired, as reported by The Wrap (via thewrap.com).
All these factors led fans of the LoL series to fear they might never see the second season of Arcane. However, Riot has alleviated those fears.
Now the developer speaks out
What does Riot say? The “League of Legends” developer Riot Games has commented on this matter to the English website Dexerto and reassured fans. A spokesperson from Riot confirmed that the second season of Arcane is in full production and will continue to be.
This is primarily because Riot is producing the series independently, and Netflix is only responsible for providing the content on the platform. Therefore, Arcane remains unaffected by the changes, and Riot and the French studio Fortiche continue to work on season 2 of the successful series.
A release date or even a timeframe is still far off. Fans will therefore have to wait a while before they can once again see Jinx, Vi, Victor, and co. over their shoulders.
How is the series doing? Recently, Arcane won big at the Annie Awards. These take place in Hollywood and are a type of Oscar for animated films and series. The show from Riot managed to scoop up 9 wins, including for best writing, best character design, and best animated series.
To not let this success stand alone, Riot is currently planning more movies and series beyond Arcane. However, more detailed information is not yet available. This fits into the studio’s plan to further expand the “League of Legends” universe. Several single-player games in this setting have already been released, and even a large MMORPG is planned.
What do you think of the series? Have you seen Arcane or do you want to watch it? What do you think about Netflix making these cuts to animated series? Feel free to let us know in the comments here at MeinMMO.

In Destiny 2, Guardians have earned, discovered, and unlocked many things. However, one thing has imprinted itself in the memory so vividly that Guardians cannot forget it. Do you remember the secret content from the Destiny universe?
What are secret missions? These secret missions are missions that are not immediately obvious. They must first be activated under certain circumstances, such as interacting with a specific mechanic or participating in an event.
In such content and missions, Guardians are thrown in without prior knowledge or objectives and must prove their skills. If the Guardians succeed in these secret contents, they are rewarded with amazing loot. This includes ships or an Exo weapon.
A sudden portal to a mission appeared when one defeated a corrupted boss during a public event. Through this mission, one was sent on a parkour path with enemies, until finally facing three challenging bosses.
If you managed to complete everything in under 20 minutes, you received the exotic sniper “Whisper of the Worm“, which at the time was a must-have in the Guardians’ loadout.
What do players say about this? Guardians on reddit are reminiscing. They wish for more such content that gives them the feeling of not having explored everything already. Destiny 2 offers so much room for mysteries that can still be unveiled, yet everything seems to be superficially packaged at present.
Reddit user and Guardian CaptFrost states the following: “I know that Bungie has to build hype around content, but I would love it if they could occasionally sneak in such things. Something that simply appears out of nowhere and can be discovered organically by players.”
Places like the sand-buried Mars city “Freehold” or larger parts of Earth provide enough room to sneak in secret missions. It’s yet to be seen whether Bungie could change this in the future, but the possibilities are open; they just need to be seized.
What do you think about these secret contents? Do you miss such missions or secret features that players can discover on their own? Let us know in the comments what you think!

In Final Fantasy XIV, Patch 6.11 went live today with the new hardest raid ever, Dragon’s War (Fatal). The update marks the start of the World-First race for the kill and is accompanied by a large community event.
What are these raids? The fatal or “ultimate” raids are considered by FFXIV to be the hardest type of PvE content. According to estimates from the Japanese statistics blog LuckyBancho, about 5% of all players manage to master these raids.
The fights are structured as a kind of boss rush, where teams of 8 raiders must fight against multiple intermediate bosses in succession to ultimately defeat the main opponent.
In Bahamut Ultimate, these bosses are Twintania and Nael deus Darnus
In Ultima, players fight against the primals Garuda, Ifrit, and Titan beforehand
To ensure that these raids remain a challenge even years after their release, they are the only content that cannot be “over-leveled”. All fatal raids must be mastered at the level and item level they were designed for.
Dragon’s War as the first ultimate raid after over 2 years
This is Dragon’s War: The new fatal raid is derived from the first expansion of FFXIV, Heavensward. It revolves around the millennial war between the nation of Ishgard and the dragons.
Screenshots have already shown individual knights of King Thordan in an arena above the cathedral of Ishgard, as well as the two dragons Nidhogg and Hraesvelgr. In the trailer for Patch 6.1, we also saw King Thordan himself at the end, performing the limit break with his knights.
Some screenshots of the raid reveal the first details about the enemies.
The raid was postponed to the great dismay of the hardcore community by over half a year. It was originally scheduled to release with Patch 5.5, at the end of Shadowbringers. However, according to director Yoshida, this was not possible without postponing the new expansion Endwalker and other important content.
Accordingly, hardcore raiders had to wait over two years for the new content. The last ultimate raid, Alexander, was released in November 2019.
To make the race for the World-First title fair, all FFXIV servers went online simultaneously after maintenance at 12:00 PM. The maintenance was also not ended early, as is often the case with MMORPGs, so that all raiders would have the same chances.

What are the rewards? The ultimate raids differ from the “normal” raids that bring gear progression. As a reward for the kill, titles and stylish, shining weapons await, which are slightly stronger than the current strongest from the Savage raid with an additional materia slot.
However, they are mainly considered status symbols and signs that one has conquered the hardest content in the game. One does not farm the raids to get better gear, but to have nice glamours.
Data miners have already pulled the appearance of the new weapons from the update code. They are based on the weapons obtained from the extreme fight against King Thordan, but have many more visual effects:

The World-First race is considered a major event in the community, followed by thousands on Twitch. With each raid release, FFXIV briefly ascended into the top 10 games on Twitch with the most viewers.
This is also the case for Thordan Ultimate, as the community around the MogTalk podcast organizes a streaming event again this time with casters and analysts who will accompany the race. Currently, on April 26 at 1:53 PM, FFXIV ranks 6th with 73,800 viewers, following GTA V and ahead of Dota 2, CoD Warzone, and Fortnite.

Who is participating in the race? Teams from around the world participate in the race. Since the servers go online simultaneously for everyone, everyone has the same chances of success.
The favorites of the race are the raid group “Thoughts per Second” from the Radiance guild on the Gilgamesh server. The group was the first to conquer Alexander Ultimate in the past and has since secured several World-First titles in the savage raids.
In Elden Ring modders are also very active and remove barriers and limits that the game would otherwise set. YouTuber Games from Mars now demonstrates a mod that removes the limit for using Spirit Ashes. He uses the popular Mimic Tear.
What is the Mimic Tear? With this Spirit Ash, you can summon a doppelgänger of yourself for a small HP cost.
Normally, you can summon a maximum of one spirit. But YouTuber Games from Mars shows how a group of 20 almost-naked doppelgängers stomps through the game.

Doppelgänger-Truppe overruns everything – first naked and with a club, then also with spells
How are the doppelgängers equipped? The player chose the beggar class, thus the character is at level 1.
No equipment items are used, apart from the starter weapon, a small club. He at least upgrades it to +25 during the run, as the monsters in the later stages of the game simply have too many hit points for an unupgraded weapon.
From NPCs like Varré to larger bosses, the doppelgänger crew completely stomps through the Lands Between. One almost feels pity for some enemies, as they often don’t even get the chance to attack.
However, the end boss ends this. The second phase is too much for the 20 beggars. But when the player equips them with armor, things look different again.
Even the end boss cannot withstand a group of 20 level-1 doppelgängers with medium armor with his massive hit point pool.
In another video, he takes it to the extreme and equips them with a hammer spell:

How the players react: In the comments under the videos, they celebrate the experiment. For instance, DarkNinja193 writes: “If FromSoftware ever made an MMO, the raid bosses would probably look like this.”
Alicia S thanks the YouTuber: “Thank you for sacrificing your PC for the memes.” Lamderem J is also concerned about the player’s PC: “Dude, your PC must be a monster device, but that is just abuse. PLEASE MORE OF IT!”
Twitch has given MMO streamer Quintin ‘Quin69’ Crawford a two-week ban. The reason is a statement that can be seen as ‘hateful towards women.’ Quin69 is arguably the most important streamer of Path of Exile on the streaming platform but has repeatedly had issues with the ban rules. However, after Quin69 described his situation, Twitch apologized and lifted the ban.
Recently, he primarily plays League of Legends: It’s affecting him mentally – like virtually everyone who plays LoL.
Despite Quin69’s success, he repeatedly faces problems with Twitch’s rules: In January 2022, he received a ban for saying that women ask to be sexually harassed with their clothing. Shortly after, another ban came for showing NSFW content during a Media Share stream.
What was he banned for now? Quin69 was banned for ‘hateful behavior towards women for 14 days.’
He showed a clip on Twitter for which he was banned on Twitch. Although the clip has since been deleted, there are recordings of it. He says in the clip:
The problem with women is that ‘nobody hits them in the face.’
Quin69 apparently has also seen this comedy routine and quoted it, but it went horribly wrong for him.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAwhhK_zmE4
‘I’m not a crazy woman-hater; I’m just proposing a two-part hypothesis!’
This is what Quin69 says: He feels misunderstood. He admits that the call to hit women looks really bad without context.
From the context, it should be clear how he meant it. He is not a crazy woman-hater but has proposed a two-part hypothesis on why women tend to turn into ‘demonic Karens,’ terrible human beings:
It wasn’t meant to be sexist. It was meant as a meme, but also somehow true. Hopefully, this clears things up: I don’t hate women!
Quin69
So he believes that seen from the ‘context,’ his statement is clearly to be understood as a joke.
Users say: Looks even worse with context
How do others see this? Overall, people shake their heads at Quin69’s behavior. One user on reddit says: Quin is one of the few streamers where things actually get worse when you know the context of his statements.
Another adds: Quin69 simply doesn’t understand Twitch. Whether with or without context, the statement is harmful to him.
Yet another user kindly says that Quin69 should please try not to get banned by Twitch constantly. He is looking for a streamer to follow daily.
Twitch unbans streamer 11 days earlier than expected
Update 26.4.: Twitch has ended the ban after only 3 days and 7 hours. Originally, the ban was set for 14 days. Quin69 is even surprised by the sudden pardon.
According to a letter that the streamer shares, Twitch apologized to Quin69 and acknowledged ‘own mistakes.’

Quin69 says this is a reference to another scene of his. He had a dispute at a gas station between two men, commented with:
This is a classic case of ‘This guy hasn’t been hit in the face, OK. He needs a little negative reinforcement to learn from the experience.’
Quin69
What’s behind it: There is a standup routine by comedian ‘Bill Burr,’ in which he argues that women enjoy a certain immunity because it is socially forbidden to hit them. Therefore, they could scratch a man’s car and proudly stand beside their work because they know nothing will happen. While men who go too far must always expect to get hit in the face.
Burr explains that he has always learned lessons from the ‘beatings he took’ and adjusted his behavior. He urges women to hit each other once in a while to correct their behavior.
This is a controversial routine, where Burr often hints at how sensitive the topic is and relativizes his statements (via YouTube). Burr plays with the outraged reaction of his audience, which is one of his trademarks.
Quin69 apparently has also seen this comedy routine and quoted it, but it went horribly wrong for him.

The PvP beta of Overwatch 2 is beginning. You can definitely participate, all you need to do is watch some Twitch. Blizzard is adopting the model that Riot’s shooter Valorant made a huge hit before its release.
For many years, there was silence around Overwatch 2. Fans were angry that Blizzard left the original Overwatch practically untouched while working on the sequel in the background. Now the waiting time is finally over, as the PvP beta of Overwatch 2 is set to begin, at least on PC.
However, not everyone interested will get an immediate opportunity to participate in the beta – at least that was the thought. Because Blizzard is bringing a way to guarantee entry into the Overwatch 2 beta if you watch the game long enough on Twitch.
How do you guarantee entry into the beta? Through Twitch drops, it will be possible to earn access to the beta. You need to watch streamers playing Overwatch 2 for a total of 4 hours between April 27th at 7:00 PM and April 28th at 3:00 AM. The action therefore has a very limited time window to secure a beta key.
Please note that you must link your Twitch account with your Battle.net account and have Twitch drops enabled.
Some of the streamers you can watch for access include:
Overwatch 2: Check out the new hero Sojourn in the action-packed gameplay trailer
Why is Blizzard doing this? The benefits of this approach are obvious. Anyone who wants beta access to Overwatch 2 must consume Overwatch 2 content on Twitch. This, in turn, keeps Overwatch 2 climbing the Twitch rankings and attracts more players to the shooter, who may also become interested in the beta.
This generates relatively much attention for a comparatively low effort. At the same time, it is, of course, a nice thing to be able to secure guaranteed beta access.
On which platforms is the beta? For now, only on PC. Although there are plans for beta tests on consoles later, that is not currently planned. So those who want to try Overwatch 2 soon should get familiar with the PC version.
What is new in Overwatch 2? With Overwatch 2, Blizzard is implementing some significant changes regarding gameplay and format. The team sizes are shrinking from 6 players to 5 players, which made many professional tanks upset upon announcement. The role of each player in the team is becoming even more important than before.
Many heroes are also receiving fundamental revamps, switching roles or getting adjusted abilities.
Will you be watching the streams to get into the Overwatch 2 beta? Or will you wait for the finished game instead?
CS:GO player MartinRGB shared a screenshot on Twitter showing his personal spending in the tactical shooter Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. His statistics show just how low the chance of valuable content really is.
How did he illustrate the rarity of valuable items? CS:GO player MartinRGB has opened a total of 91,970 loot boxes (also known as cases) in CS:GO, according to a Twitter post.
Opening a loot box requires case keys, which must be purchased. A case key costs €2.25. This results in a total spending amount of over €200,000 for MartinRGB.
Since MartinRGB did not receive a skin that offset the spending after nearly 92,000 case openings, and according to his own statement, incurred a loss, he demonstrates how rare valuable items are.
What was in the boxes? In the nearly 92,000 boxes, 80.03% of the items MartinRGB received were blue. These are the most common and least exciting items. From the sought-after yellow items, MartinRGB received only 261 pieces.
The 261 yellow items correspond to 0.28% of the total loot boxes opened by MartinRGB. That sounds very low, but it is slightly above the calculated probability of 0.26%.
Overall, the player’s yield was very close to the theoretical probabilities of an item color.
What do we see in the tweet? In the tweet’s image, you can see the statistics of the box openings. The first column in the image shows the color classification of the items sorted by ascending rarity or descending probability.
It is followed by the exact number of items of each color that MartinRGB received in the 91,970 boxes. The third column shows the percentage of a color in relation to the total number of opened boxes. The fourth column shows the theoretical probability of receiving an item of a particular color.
The comparison between the third and fourth columns shows whether MartinRGB exceeded the calculated probability of a color or not.

CS:GO player MartinRGB shares the statistics of his loot box purchases on Twitter
The spending of MartinRGB in detail
“Although I have lost money, in the end it’s not a sad story”
What does MartinRGB say about his spending? In the comments of the post, a Twitter user asked MartinRGB how he managed to open 90,000 boxes and whether he did it all day.
MartinRGB explained that he started opening the boxes four years ago. He also noted that he does not regret opening the boxes and that it is not a sad story, even though he lost money.
In CS:GO, skins hold great value. Players sometimes pay outrageous amounts for the designs of knives and other weapons.
A well-known example of the incredible sums that are sometimes paid in the shooter is the sale of an AK-47 skin last year. For the skin, approximately €124,000 was paid.

Tribes of Midgard
Tribes of Midgard was released in July 2021 and is roughly a mix of Valheim and Diablo. The co-op game is based on Norse mythology, where you control a Viking.
You play a character that becomes stronger in game sessions but only has one life. You collect progress for the next attempt – a so-called “roguelite.”
The control works like in an action RPG with isometric perspective (“top-down”). With various classes, you try to achieve objectives in story mode or play a free game in survival mode. Special features of the game include:
Curse of the Dead Gods shares the isometric perspective and roguelite character with Tribes of Midgard. You fight your way through temples, regularly defeat bosses, and gain progress upon your death that you can take into the next run.
The game comes with dark comic graphics, offers you weapon combos, and relies on dodge rolls. Traps, the intensity of light in a room, or curses further put pressure on you.
The action RPG is often compared to “Hades” – a roguelite surprise hit from 2020. According to colleagues from GamePro, Curse of the Dead Gods doesn’t quite measure up, but is still a strong representative of its genre (via GamePro.de).

The parent company of Call of Duty, Activision Blizzard, recently provided information about finances and player numbers in its first quarter report for 2022. It was noted that especially the games of Activision are suffering from a significant decrease in players – CoD lost 50 million players in a year. MeinMMO looks into what’s behind this.
Publisher and stock company Activision Blizzard has reported on revenues, profits, and player numbers in its latest financial report and had to accept some setbacks in key metrics over the past year.
The number of monthly active players for Activision’s titles fell to around 100 million. That’s around 50 million fewer than in March 2021:
The so-called “MAUs” (Monthly Active Users) represent an average value and do not differentiate between game and platform for Activision’s titles. A player can therefore be counted more than once in the statistics.
However, since Blizzard and King are listed separately and Activision itself hardly distributes other major games, the numbers can almost completely be attributed to Call of Duty. This means that the largest shooter franchise has lost about 30% of its active players in the past year.
What reasons does Activision give? The publisher remains rather vague in identifying the causes and cites the following reasons for the decline:
A statement also cites the COVID-19 pandemic as a reason, which on one hand reduces customers’ purchasing power and at the same time hinders content development.
Why did player numbers decline? CoD: Mobile is very popular but apparently struggles with signs of saturation. That Activision could not reach new players here seems to be the biggest surprise.
For the sales of CoD: Vanguard, this trend was already evident, similar to the free battle royale Warzone.
Vanguard struggled with reservations about the setting since the emergence of the first leaks. World War II did not convince many players, there was no real hype, and the overall innovations to the shooter were too meager.
Sales fell by 40% in the UK compared to its predecessor Cold War (via gamesindustry.biz) – and Cold War had already sold worse than the CoD hit Modern Warfare from 2019.
For Warzone and its players, it was also a disappointing year. Little content, hardly any changes, and even the new, large map Caldera did not bring the desired turnaround. Players even want the old map Verdansk back.
Additionally, there were major issues with cheaters and bugs in the games. Season 2 was even postponed to give developers two more weeks to fix the biggest problems:
How does Call of Duty plan to stop the trend? Although the financial report mentions that the current games Vanguard and Warzone received substantial updates in the first quarter, Activision is looking forward:
The development of the new premium CoD is progressing well
The successor to CoD MW 2019 is planned – the most successful title in the series so far
Warzone: Mobile is coming
The battle royale is set to repeat the great success on mobile
Warzone 2 will be revealed later this year
The sequel to the battle royale will be built from the ground up, with many innovations
More staff for Activision
More and more people are being hired to create more content for all CoD titles
Call of Duty has greatly benefited from rising player numbers during the COVID-19 pandemic but was unable to maintain the momentum and lost around 50 million players within a year.
We are also interested in your perspective from a player’s point of view: Has the content of Call of Duty been less appealing to you in the past year? What do you want from the world’s largest shooter franchise in the future?

NFTs are unique digital collectibles. The most well-known NFTs are Bored Apes, which are now worth millions. Recently, some NFT owners were tricked out of millions of euros with a simple trick.
What kind of project is this? Bored and Mutant Apes are among the most well-known NFT projects. Users invest in small images of monkeys secured over the blockchain. Whoever buys such a monkey is invited to exclusive events and gatherings (via boredapeyachtclub.com).
However, the well-known NFT project has now been hacked, and numerous users have collectively lost millions of euros. They fell victim to a simple fraud scheme.
What exactly happened? The fraudsters gained access to the official Instagram account and Discord of Bored Ape Yacht Club through unknown methods. Subsequently, the hackers posted a link on the official channels, through which one could supposedly secure their NFTs.
But instead of securing their NFTs, the digital monkeys were transferred to the fraudsters. The seemingly harmless link is said to have left former owners around 3 million euros poorer.
In the meantime, the official developers have also posted a statement. Here they warn all users not to click on any links and highlight the hack:

In a statement, the developers explain what exactly has been lost. Overall, it amounts to 3 million US dollars, which is approximately 2.8 million euros:
We are still investigating. Roughly estimated, the losses from the fraud amount to 4 Bored Apes, 6 Mutant Apes, and 3 BAKC as well as various other NFTs with a total value of about 3 million dollars. We are actively working to contact the affected users.
Why are the monkeys so famous? Bored and Mutant Apes belong to the major and well-known projects because stars also invest in this project. Well-known figures like NBA player Stephen Curry or musician Eminem have already invested six-figure dollar amounts in the monkey project (via businessinsider.com).
There are already games where “Play-2-Earn” plays a major role: People can earn money by grinding NFTs. In poorer countries, entire families support themselves through such systems.
This is not the first time that individuals have lost large amounts of money through fraud in NFTs. Many users had invested a lot of money in virtual NFT monkeys. However, the entire endeavor turned out to be a scam. The developers are said to have fled with the millions.
A YouTuber has discovered a build in Elden Ring that is so OP that it’s hard to put into words. It’s a Bleed Build that takes down all bosses with just a simple attack combo, even without bleeding. MeinMMO gives you more information.
YouTuber RageGamingVideos uploaded a video about Elden Ring, which has a title that can raise eyebrows. “Crazy”, “broken OP” and “ridiculously high damage” is written in capital letters.
There are countless videos with these titles on YouTube, but RageGamingVideos claims that his featured build deserves those adjectives:
Don’t get me wrong, guys, I know that the title of the video causes eye rolls. But I honestly wouldn’t exaggerate so much if this build wasn’t worthy of it. And I think the first 58 seconds of the video deserve the label “broken”.
In these first 58 seconds, the player can be seen killing a dragon, the final boss, and even the feared Malenia in just a few attacks. All with just a simple combo in a build he calls “the OP version of an OP build”.
Here you can see the video:

“Does more damage than anything that isn’t a bug or exploit”
Although the build by the YouTuber is a Bleed Build, the strong bleeding effect is just an additional bonus to an incredibly strong foundation. Therefore, it differs significantly from our Blood Build, despite similarities.
What does the build use? The player uses the Scavenger’s Curved Sword, which has received a respectable A rating in our weapon tier list. He has one of these curved swords in each hand. However, since the weapon can only be found once in Gelmir (location), this exact build can only be used with an online trade or in New Game Plus.
He then gives these curved swords the Occult affinity, so they scale better with the Arcane attribute. For this, he uses the Ash of War Seppuku. You can get it on the mountaintop of the giants from an invisible scarab on the frozen lake.
How does the build work? This build particularly buffs the jumping attacks of the dual curved swords, which you activate with L1 (Playstation) or LB (Xbox) while jumping. This simple combo is all you need for this build. Because with it, you make 4 quick attacks in succession, activating many strong buffs at the same time.
Since these buffs interact together, crazy values come out of it. The YouTuber calculated that all the buffs together increase your damage by a whopping 160%. Thus, the bleed damage is just the cherry on top, not the main feature.
Together, the two weapons deal 3210 base damage per attack (Image from YouTube)
According to RageGamingVideos, this combination “does more damage than anything in the game that isn’t a bug or exploit”. This simple combo may not be the “most exciting way” to play Elden Ring, but the results in the video speak for themselves.
This build discovery is particularly impressive as it comes shortly after Patch 1.04. Surprisingly, that didn’t touch Blood Builds, but buffed many other things:
