In League of Legends players die too quickly. Many professionals see this as the main problem in the balancing of LoL. The lead gameplay designer of LoL stated this Saturday, April 30th: They have really gone too far with this. In the coming weeks, they want to discuss how to slow down the combat speed.
What is the biggest problem in LoL? For many experts and players, the biggest problem in LoL has been a kind of “ping-pong” with the health bars for years:
The damage in League of Legends is so high that players fall from full health points to 0 health points and die in an instant – There is no way to react
To compensate for the high damage and thereby make “healing” effective, healing is also extremely strong: People can heal themselves in LoL from “almost dead” back to full health points within seconds through “lifesteal”
Doublelift raised this criticism a year ago: Generally, this is an opinion shared by many: League of Legends has, in their opinion, generally “become too fast.”

Riot wants to slow down “fights” in LoL
This is what the developers are saying now: In a recent discussion on reddit about whether to increase “time to kill”, Bryan “CatchesAxes” Salvatore, the lead gameplay designer, weighs in. He is exactly the person responsible for this.
Salvatore explained on Saturday, April 30, 2022, that Riot wants to talk about upcoming changes in the next few weeks that should slow down combat in LoL (via reddit):
We believe that League of Legends is best on average when it is fast and exciting, but yes, we think it is fair to say that we have shifted the balance too far towards damage: This affects visibility (“I can’t tell what just killed me/I can’t tell what I should have done differently”) and it affects the way one can display their skill (“The mage/The assassin used their whole kit, so they deserve the kill.”)
Bryan “CatchesAxes” Salvatore, Lead Gameplay Designer of LoL, Riot Games
Glass cannons must kill in 2 seconds or they are useless
What is the problem? The lead game designer explains why the issue with damage is so delicate. It is not possible to simply say: “Okay, now everyone just deals half as much damage.”
There are some “glass cannon” champions who need to kill quickly or they are worthless. This applies to Kai’Sa, for example. She must be able to take down “backline champions” in 2 seconds or she is “worthless” because she will fall herself without having caused any damage.
However, the problem is champions like Nocturne, Veigar, Kayn, Cassiopeia, Vayne, and others who build tank items and can still one-shot or “one-combo” ADCs.
Anyone who can kill a character with a combo must also be a “glass cannon” and in principle only wear paper armor so that the “risk vs. reward” formula fits, Salvatore said.
Therefore, they will primarily address “tank bruisers” and mages that are considered too tanky.
Riot wants to emphasize “risk vs. reward” more in balancing
This is what is behind it: The statement from the lead gameplay designer now creates uncertainty among many about whether their champion will be affected and how exactly the changes will impact gameplay.
Riot has not yet wanted to show their cards on how best to change the balance.
However, the designer made it clear once again how he envisions balance: One can deal extreme amounts of damage with a champion, but then one must also accept that they cannot withstand much.
The lead gameplay designer sees the problem in champions that deal too much damage while also being too stable.
In recent months, Riot has repeatedly tried to adjust the balance:
With Throne and Liberty, NCSoft is releasing a new and very interesting MMORPG that is set to launch worldwide in 2022. However, there have been few details about the general gameplay and classes so far. In an interview, initial information was shared.
The game features an open world where movement is expected to play an important role. Players can use grappling hooks, but can also transform into aquatic and flying creatures. The game world will be entirely open, and you will encounter massive world bosses and PvP sieges. Those have been the details so far.
However, new details about the game have now been revealed in an interview (via Thisgame).
No classes, many dungeons, and PvP in the endgame
What do we know about classes and the combat system?
There are only humans as playable races. However, you will be able to transform into animals during combat, which provides new abilities but also other weaknesses.
The combat system is expected to be action-packed and similar to Blade & Soul.
There will be no typical classes; instead, you will be able to equip two weapons that determine your playstyle and switch between them. You will level these weapons and enhance them over time.
There will be no classic Holy Trinity of tank, healer, and DPS.
There will be classic levels for your character.
Initially, it was planned to only allow one character, as one can learn everything. However, this has since been discarded.
A first glimpse of the MMORPG’s gameplay is provided by this trailer:

New MMORPG Hope from Korea Finally Shows a Lot of Gameplay in New Trailer
What do we know about PvE and PvP?
The day/night cycle will be important, as some monsters only appear at night.
There will be an overarching story that aims to explain to the player what they are actually fighting for, as well as individual stories per area. Here, the developers emphasize that a story is particularly important to Western players, which is often lacking in Korean MMORPGs.
The PvE will play an important role with quests, bosses, and dungeons.
There will be exclusive PvE content for the strongest players.
Generally, the developers emphasize that guilds will be important and players will have to collaborate for many contents.
In the endgame, massive PvP battles with hundreds of players simultaneously will be the focus. Weather events are expected to play a role, such as winds that reduce the damage from bow attacks or sewage channels that can only be used when it is not raining.
Whether there will be PvP in the open world is still unknown. However, there should be no situation where one guild can alone control an area or world boss and thereby exclude other guilds from the game.
There should be a detailed presentation of Throne and Liberty in June 2022.
Versions for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, but no crossplay
What else was revealed in the interview? The MMORPG will be released for PS5 as well as Xbox Series X|S. The older console generations have not been mentioned so far, but consoles do not play as large a role in Korea as they do in the West.
There will be no crossplay between PC and consoles. This is partly due to the difficulty of simultaneous patches on the platforms, but also because players find it unfair, as one platform could have advantages over the other.
What did NCSoft reveal about the payment model? Throne and Liberty is expected to adopt either a free-to-play or buy-to-play model. There will definitely be a shop, and NCSoft promises that this will come without pay-to-win.
It is said that players want “performance through effort and skill,” and the developers also value this. However, players who only play a few hours a week should be able to catch up with the help of the shop. Here, balance is essential, the developers say.
First screenshots from the game and from the trailer for Throne and Liberty.
Additionally, Throne and Liberty is expected to be translated into “a dozen languages.” Which ones have not yet been revealed. However, previous games from NCSoft, such as Guild Wars 2 (text and audio), Blade & Soul (text), and Aion (text), have already been fully released in German.
When will the game be released? In the interview, the developers emphasized that they still aim for a global release at the end of 2022. However, there may be delays for the console versions, as the versions there must be approved by the manufacturers.
What do you think about the current information regarding Throne and Liberty? Will the MMORPG truly become a reality by the end of the year? Or are you not interested in the PvP endgame?

MeinMMO shows you the best weapons with setups for Rebirth Island in Call of Duty: Warzone. Fewer health points and shorter combat distances sometimes require different tools than in the normal Battle Royale, and we show you what you can rely on.
Where does the information come from? To keep you updated on the weapon meta of Call of Duty: Warzone, we regularly check player and expert trends, keep an eye on patch notes, and review the most important analysis tools for Warzone.
Here in the article you will find the best weapons for Rebirth Island with alternatives for every CoD game that works together with Warzone.
Here is the list of the best weapons by weapon class. If you also need a weapon setup, just click the link – it will take you to the relevant section in the article:
Rebirth Island: Grau 5.56 – The best Assault Rifle for Range

Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
Barrel: Tempus 26.4″ Archangel
Laser: Tac Laser
Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip

Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
Barrel: Tempus 26.5 Archangel
Laser: Tac Laser
Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
Magazine: 60 Mag
What kind of weapon class is this? Range assault rifles should provide you safe kills. Here you will find a “laser” that may not deal the highest damage but comes with low recoil.
What makes the Grau 5.56 strong? The assault rifle was the overpowered weapon shortly after the release of Warzone in the summer and has been popular ever since. Despite some nerfs, many players still like to reach for this stable device.
Its biggest advantage over other lasers is the very good metal sight on the Archangel barrel. It provides good visibility even at long distances and saves you an attachment. This way you can take the strong tactical laser.
Alternatives:
Cold War: FARA 83 – The most stable range assault rifle of the CW era Vanguard: Cooper Carbine – A very stable option, but with slightly less damage
Rebirth Island: XM4 – The best Assault Rifle with Damage
CoD Warzone: XM4 Setup
Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
Barrel: 13.5″ Task Force
Optic: Axial Arms 3x
Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
Magazine: STANAG 60 Round

Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
Magazine: STANAG 60 Round
What kind of weapon class is this? If you can handle some recoil, then reach for an assault rifle with damage. While we don’t list any “lasers” here, we do include controllable assault rifles where it is worthwhile to endure a little recoil.
What makes the XM4 strong? The Cold War-era assault rifle deals a lot of damage compared to class competition and remains manageable. Another strong alternative from the Cold War arsenal is the AK-47.
Alternatives:
Vanguard: AS44 – High damage, but mastering it requires practice
CoD MW: Oden – Slow fire rate and small magazines – But heavy damage
Rebirth Island: Owen Gun – The best Submachine Gun
CoD Warzone: Owen Gun Setup
Muzzle: Recoil Booster
Barrel: Hockenson 142mm Rapid
Optic: Slate Reflector
Stock: Removed Stock
Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
Magazine: 7.62 Gorenko 72 Round Drum
Ammunition: Lengthened

What kind of weapon class is this? Fast close combat fighters with high mobility. A submachine gun handles the rough tasks up to 10, 15 meters. The weapons lose damage quickly beyond that.
What makes the Owen Gun strong? The submachine gun from Vanguard currently stands out a bit from the competition. It offers a lot of damage, good range, and plays pleasantly.
Currently, no alternatives can compete easily against the Owen Gun. If you do not like the weapon or only play weapons from the old CoD installments, there are options that are not too far off. But in a close fight, every millisecond counts, and the Owen Gun wins.
Despite small nerfs in Season 3, further reductions may be on the way.
Vanguard: MP40 – Still a popular and strong option
Rebirth Island: Kar 98k from CoD MW – The best Sniper Rifle
Rebirth Island: Kar 98k from CoD MW Setup
Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
Barrel: Singuard Custom 27.6″
Laser: Tac Laser
Optic: Sniper Scope
Stock: FTAC Sport Comb

Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
Barrel: Singuard Costum 27.6″
Laser: Tac Laser
Optic: Sniper Scope
Stock: FTAC Sport Comb
What kind of weapon class is this? Sniper rifles give you the ability for “one-shots” – a headshot takes the opponent down immediately. Therefore, these weapons are very popular despite their sluggishness.
What makes the Kar 98k strong? The Kar 98k from CoD MW has long been the best sniper rifle in Warzone, sharing this spot with the Swiss K31. They offer a comparatively low aim time and are even somewhat snappy.
Please note: After the sniper changes of Season 3, the meta of sniper rifles is in flux. It remains to be seen whether the big sniper rifles with infinite range for headshots will take over or whether the more mobile models will remain in vogue.
Alternatives:
CoD MW: HDR – Headshots at all distances
Cold War: Swiss K31 – Similarly strong as the Kar 98k
Cold War: ZRG 20mm – Headshots at all distances

What kind of weapon class is this? LMGs stand for high range, strong damage, large magazines, and poor mobility. If you can cope with the “clumsiness”, they are reliable companions.
What makes the Bren strong? The LMG from Vanguard impresses with its damage. You have large magazines and hit hard.
After some nerfs, the Bren no longer stands at the top of the food chain, but it still hits hard and outperforms many competitors at range. However, the weight of the weapon is noticeable.
Alternatives:
Cold War: Stoner 63 – A nice stable LMG with 200 round magazines
MW: Bruen Mk9 – Has assault rifle setup, time-to-kill remains the same at distance (chest shots)
With the setups in the article, you can’t go wrong. However, also try out a little and adapt the weapons to your play style. Regularly try other weapons – you might find alternatives that suit you even better.
Because not every weapon that is currently considered the best will fit 100% for you. What matters is that you can hit your targets accurately and that the weapon gives you confidence.
In Final Fantasy XIV there are over 200 different mounts, and on some of them, you can ride together with your friends. We will tell you which ones they are and how you can obtain them.
Mounts are indispensable in most MMORPGs. They not only make life easier for players but are also often seen as status symbols. In FFXIV, some of them additionally allow you to take your friends along.
You can then ride through the MMORPG world together with your friends, show them new areas, or help with quests. Multiplayer mounts are also great for farming treasure maps.
It works like this: In order for your teammates to ride on your mount, they must first join your party. When they then inspect your character, the option “Tandem Riding” appears. This allows them to mount your mount.
Playable Multiplayer Mounts
The multiplayer mounts in FFXIV fall into three different categories. The first includes those that you can obtain directly in the MMORPG. You do not have to pay additional money or meet any other special requirements to obtain them.
Ikril
2 seats
This is how you obtain the mount: Ikril is available as a reward for the achievement “News from Bozja“, which consists of three further achievements:
News from the Southern Front
News from the Highlands
News from Delubrum
They require you to collect all front reports available in the special areas of the Bozja content: Zadnor, the Southern Front, and the “Delubrum Reginae” content. You can check the collected front reports in your game content menu under “Curiosities”.
Once you have collected all achievements, you can find your mount in the achievements menu.
Fun Fact: Originally, Ikril came from FFXII. It was the “Flying Bike” on which air pirate Balthier and his partner Fran infiltrated the palace of Rabanastre to steal the treasure there. There, they encounter the thief Vaan and become embroiled in the struggle for power in Ivalice.
Mechamander
2 seats
This is how you obtain the mount: Landerwaffe is one of the largest mounts in the game and is unlocked through a quest. However, you must go farming first to activate the quest.
You need all the mounts from the extreme trials of Shadowbringers. These are:
Pixie Gwiber from the content “Last Cleansing – Titania”
Innocence Gwiber from the content “Last Cleansing – Innocence”
Shadow Gwiber from the content “Last Cleansing – Hades”
Ruby Gwiber from the content “Ruby Fire – Trauma”
Light Gwiber from the content “Warriors of Light (extreme)”
Emerald Gwiber from the content “Emerald Storm – Trauma”
Diamond Gwiber from the content “Diamond Blitz – Trauma”
All of these contents are designed for level 80 and can be easily farmed at level 90 since the release of Endwalker.
Once you have collected all the mounts, the quest called “Dragon of Fire and Iron” activates in the area “The Fenn”. You can pick it up from the NPC Garlond Model Maker (X: 11.5 / Y: 22.5). Complete it, and Mechamander will belong to you.
Astrope
2 seats
This is how you obtain the mount: Astrope is also a mount that is tied to achievements. It is called “Support VI” and to obtain it, you must successfully complete 2,000 random contents for mentors. However, you must become a combat mentor to unlock this random content first.
You must meet the following requirements:
Successfully completed 1,000 dungeons, raids, or trials.
Received 1,500 awards for being the most valuable player
Completed the Role Quest for Defender level 80.
Completed the Role Quest for Healer level 80.
Completed the Role Quest for melee or ranged attackers (physical or magic) level 80.
Only afterward can you enter the mentor random contents and start working on the achievement.
Once you have completed all the contents, you can collect your mount in the achievements menu.
Desert Glider
4 seats
This is how you obtain the mount: With the help of friends or guild members, this mount can likely be obtained easier than all the others on the list. It is a guaranteed drop from the chest in the content “Edens Promise – Burial (Epic)”.
The fight is designed for level 80. With the release of the Endwalker expansion, the maximum level has been raised to 90, and the player’s gear level has drastically increased. Therefore, the content is no longer as difficult as it used to be and can be farmed comfortably.
Cerberus
4 seats
This is how you obtain the mount: Cerberus is available as a reward for completing the content “Delubrum Reginae” on the difficulty “Epic”. It is one of the dungeons in the special content “Bozja Southern Front”, where special rules apply. There are specific armors and commands that can greatly enhance your character that only have an effect within Bozja.
Delubrum Reginae is designed for 24 players, and the epic version is still challenging even after the level increase. You need a reliable group to complete this content.
Once you have defeated the content, you will receive the achievement “Queen of Epic Blades I” and can collect your mount in the achievements menu.
Regalia Type-G
4 seats
This is how you obtain the mount: The Regalia is a special case among the obtainable multiplayer mounts. It was introduced to FFXIV in the course of the collaboration with FFXV and is the car of Prince Noctis. Unfortunately, this means that the Regalia is only available during the collaboration event.
The event keeps returning, so new players can also obtain the Regalia, but this happens rather rarely. Consequently, you will have to wait for the event to return if you want to have the cool car.
However, you can prepare in advance. The Regalia Type-G will be available during the event at the Gold Saucer. In the past, it required 200,000 MGP to purchase. This is expected not to change, so you can set aside the necessary “change” for the next event.
More about mounts from FFXIV on MeinMMO can be found here:
The second category of multiplayer mounts includes fancy steeds that you cannot directly purchase individually, but are also not freely obtainable.
Tandem Chocobo and Amber Chocobo
Each 2 seats
This is how you obtain the mounts: Both are available through the “Invite a Friend” campaign of FFXIV, which rewards players for recruiting new players (all info on the official page). However, the conditions for both mounts are different:
The Tandem Chocobo is automatically obtained once the invited player has an active subscription for 90 days.
The Amber Chocobo requires 8 golden Chocobo feathers. You receive 5 of them when the invited person has an active subscription for 150 days, 210 days, and 270 days. The feathers can be exchanged at any lost property manager in the 3 starting cities.
Ceremonial Chocobo
2 seats
This is how you obtain the mount: The fancy Chocobo is given as one of the bonus items for players who want to marry stylishly in FFXIV. You receive the mount if you choose either the gold or platinum plan for the wedding.
The gold plan costs €14 (€7 per person)
The platinum plan costs €28 (€14 per person)
You must therefore first find a partner for this mount, plan the wedding, and then follow through with it. The advantage is that after divorce, you can keep all items and do not need a lawyer for asset distribution.
If you think of fast-paced, intense shooters, you might think of games like Call of Duty, Overwatch, or Valorant. However, very few people think of Nintendo games. Shooter expert and MeinMMO author Marko Jevtic wants to change that. Because he says: The best shooter of the year will be the colorful Switch game Splatoon 3.
I love fast movement, a ridiculous number of weapons, and fast-paced action with a lot of strategic depth – these are exactly the things I love in multiplayer shooters. If a short time-to-kill with special abilities that allow for unique strategies is added, I am completely in love.
There may be many shooters on the market that have all that, but they all lack something.
Call of Duty has fast-paced action and many weapons, but zero teamwork or strategy.
Valorant is very strategic, but you should never shoot and run at the same time.
Overwatch offers a lot of teamwork with dozens of abilities, but individual strengths can often get completely lost.
All of these games are a lot of fun in their own way. But none of them can keep me hooked for years. After a maximum of 100 – 200 hours of gameplay, I’ve had enough and look for the next shooter that offers me a month of fun.
This is how it goes almost every year for me. But there were two major exceptions. In 2015, Splatoon was released on the Wii U, and in 2017, its sequel came to the Switch. On September 9, 2022, Splatoon 3 will finally be released, and for me, it’s already clear:
Splatoon 3, the colorful children’s game for the Nintendo Switch, will be the best shooter of the year. Especially for fans of competitive shooting games.
About the Author: Marko has been a shooter expert at MeinMMO since October 2021, but has been a huge fan of all kinds of shooting games for over 25 years. Whether CoD, Quake, Overwatch, Apex Legends, Battlefield, or Halo – Marko plays shooters intensively and at the highest level. He is also deeply integrated into the shooter community and regularly talks with FPS professionals like KovaaK.
The Splatoon games are, however, his favorite shooters of all time. He has not played a single game more than Splatoon 2 and has played it for years at the highest rank – regularly competing with and against the best professionals in the game.
Splatoon 3 hides a hardcore shooter under bright colors
The Splatoon games have sold over 17 million copies. Thus, they are secretly a really big franchise that hardly gets noticed by so-called hardcore gamers.
The reason for this is obvious. While the Splatoon games are shooters, they come from the family-friendly developer Nintendo – it’s even the team behind Animal Crossing. Children aged 6 and older are allowed to play these shooting games according to the USK, and instead of firing high-caliber lead bullets from military weapons, you shoot colorful ink blobs from water guns or oversized paintbrushes.
And yet, Splatoon is a real shooting game for the hardest shooter fans like me:
It has small playable figures that move incredibly fast, making precise aiming difficult.
The time-to-kill is rapid, rewarding both good movement and good aim.
The weapon balancing is incredibly good, even though Splatoon 2 boasts 108 weapons in 9 categories (via Inkipedia).
Many different special abilities and ultimates like rocket launchers, grappling hooks or controllable robot spiders provide strategic options and promote teamwork.
There are complex loadouts thanks to gear buffs, which allow for faster movement, higher resistances, or better sneaking.
The color mechanics make map control and good positioning incredibly important (more on that later).
Additionally, Splatoon does not have aim assist thanks to motion controls via gyro-aiming. Just because of that, this “children’s game” from Nintendo requires more shooter skill than console shooters for “real men” like CoD or Battlefield.
In the gameplay video for Splatoon 3, you can see what it looks like in motion:
Start video
Splatoon 3 Trailer
In addition to these refined shooter basics, with which Splatoon does not need to hide from any competition, it also has a few unique gameplay tricks up its sleeve. They all revolve around the color mechanics. Because the color in Splatoon is not only a graphical trademark, the whole gameplay is designed around it.
In Splatoon, you play as so-called Inklings – creatures that can transform from a human form into that of an octopus at the press of a button.
As a human, you can shoot, throw grenades, and jump, but not much more. As an octopus, you can swim almost completely flat, which offers several advantages:
You reload your ammunition.
You are hard to hit and virtually invisible when moving slowly.
You can swim quickly across the map or up walls.
All of this only applies when you are in your team’s color.
Each shot from your weapons fires ink that sticks to the map – whether along floors or up walls. Through your team color, you can easily navigate as a human or octopus – however, opponent’s color sticks to your feet like super glue and damages you.
The aim is to let more of the map shine in your color than the opponents’. Colors easily overlap one another. You do not win the main game mode by kills, but by having more of your color on the map than the opposing team.
Because more of the map shines in yellow, the yellow team wins in the game mode “Territory Battles” here.
Thus, there is always a tug-of-war for map control, which opens up numerous strategic possibilities in the game.
In summary, Splatoon 3 is one of the fastest, most strategic, and most unique shooters on the market. With its colorful presentation, it appeals to a younger audience, but even shooter veterans with calloused trigger fingers will find it thoroughly enjoyable.
How good and deep the gameplay systems in Splatoon 3 are is particularly evident in the excellent ranked mode. It is among the best on the market – despite and thanks to Nintendo’s notoriously strict limitations on online multiplayer.
More game recommendations from the MeinMMO editorial team:
Splatoon is the best competitive shooter for those without a team
The big shooter franchises often place great importance on ranked game modes. In special modes, you are supposed to play against other gamers who are roughly at the same level.
The more games you win, the faster you improve in the rankings, and the better the rank you have. Gold, platinum, master – the hunt for the better title is at least theoretically very enticing.
Unfortunately, this is almost never the case for me in practice. The games I love are only played by a few of my friends. Plus, most of my friends play significantly worse than I do. That is usually not a problem – except in ranked mode, where they sometimes cannot even play with me.
Additionally, almost all big shooter games have an unbearably toxic community. It can be so unbearable at times that I completely lose the desire to play these shooters in any competitive form. And without that constant incentive to climb ranks, I quickly lose interest in the game as well.
The “fresh” look of your playable characters not only looks cool but also allows for complex and diverse gear builds.
Here, however, Nintendo’s lackluster online system is actually a blessing. Matches in Splatoon are split into 2 types:
With one or 3 other friends in a team.
In 2 teams of 4 mixed individual players.
The first match type allows communication via the Nintendo Online App or classics like Discord because you are playing with friends. This is perfect for those who want coordinated team play with their colleagues.
In the second match type, however, each player ends up alone in a team of other individual players who have no way of communicating with one another.
This is – probably unintentionally – brilliant, especially for solo players. Because each ranked game guarantees no communication between players, each match is completely fair. Because you never fight against a full team, but only against other solo players. And teabagging is the only possible form of toxic communication.
For good teamwork, you must intuitively and spontaneously function with complete strangers – those who can do that deserve the victory. If teamwork doesn’t go smoothly, you can still decide the match for the team as a solo player.
Splatoon rewards individual skills as a shooter player much more than any other shooter on the market. Those who are instinctively good at gaming and can cooperate with others win more games in Splatoon. That’s how it should always be. Because nothing feels worse than playing well alone but losing against a completely coordinated team of worse players.
And for those solo players who sometimes want to play ranked with friends, there’s no need to worry – the team ranking is separate and reset multiple times a day so that you can find fair matches in always new constellations. This is a perfect system for people like me.
With special abilities like this controllable spider robot, you can tilt the match in your favor – or dominate the opponents even more.
There is no other shooter like Splatoon 3, and none better
At first glance, Splatoon 3 hardly looks different from its predecessors, but it doesn’t have to. The last part came out in 2017, and 5 years later, the gameplay could be exactly the same, and I would still be happy – because there is no other game on the market that packages such unique gameplay so well.
But that doesn’t mean that Splatoon 3 is a pure copy of Splatoon 2: Despite some similarities, experts are discovering many exciting new features (via YouTube):
Completely new special abilities with a lot of strategic potential.
Even faster gameplay thanks to new spawn mechanics and more aggressive weapon loadouts.
Special evasive maneuvers that temporarily make you (almost) invulnerable.
A completely new weapon type and new maps.
Thus, Splatoon 3 is well on its way to being the best multiplayer shooter of 2022. Personally, I can’t imagine that any other game can top it this year.
Overwatch 2 makes a great impression in beta, but it is far less beginner-friendly than Splatoon and has a very toxic community in ranked mode. It may even come out in 2023.
The Cycle: Frontier is an exciting “casual alternative” to Escape from Tarkov, but it is not a true deathmatch shooter. In some matches, you might not even see a human opponent.
CoD Modern Warfare 2 now officially has a name, but it certainly will not reinvent the shooter wheel. Additionally, the franchise has never had a particularly good ranked mode.
These are, of course, only the most notable releases we can expect this year. If you want to be reminded of which other shooters are coming this year, I recommend this article:
The MMORPG Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is set to be released in the summer of 2022. It offers 5 classes that players can choose from. In this article, we at MeinMMO summarize the information for you.
This is Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds: The new anime MMORPG in the style of the popular Ghibli films is based on the J-RPG Ni no Kuni. The story revolves around a virtual reality game called Soul Divers, where players can immerse themselves with their characters.
However, in this colorful game, not everything is as peaceful as it seems. A danger threatens not only the game world but also the real world. This must be prevented.
This is how the classes work: The classes in the MMORPG are distinct characters that you can partially customize. They have predefined bodies and are gender-locked, but you can give them different hairstyles, faces, or hair colors.
All characters are players from the real world who are out in the game Soul Divers. They also have their own little backstory. Accordingly, they have two different appearances: their real world appearance and their avatar in the game.
Players can choose the character that best fits their playstyle or personality.
This article will be continuously updated with new information about the classes.
The Swordsman

Ni no Kuni ‘Swordsman’ Character Introduction Video
This is the Swordsman: The charming Swordsman uses a one-handed sword in battle to defeat his opponents. He is a pure damage-dealer class and specializes in melee combat and quick, continuous combos with his weapon. However, the Swordsman can also use larger area attacks combined with elemental fire damage.
In real life, the Swordsman is a young office worker full of energy, and thus the class is exclusively male. Character-wise, he is a gentleman who always rushes to the aid of the weak and oppressed, and is always in search of challenges. That is also the reason why he registered for Soul Divers and participates in the game.
The Witch

Ni no Kuni ‘Witch’ Character Introduction Video
This is the Witch: The Witch is a purely female class that uses a magical spear and her magic to succeed in combat. She is also a pure damage dealer, but unlike the Swordsman, she prefers to attack from a distance where she is safe from her opponents’ counters.
Her spear acts as a flexible ranged weapon. The Witch can pierce her opponents multiple times with it, rotate the spear around her, or summon a rain of many spears.
In real life, she is a student who always achieves perfect grades in exams. This perfectionism also extends to her handling of magic. With her high intellect, she can adapt to any situation in a flash.
The Technician

Ni no Kuni ‘Engineer’ Character Introduction Video
This is the Technician: The Technician is also a purely female class that uses various firearms like rifles or pistols in battle and can even summon two heavy tanks for help. She has a series of area attacks that are either circular or form a long line in front of her.
Even though the Technician can use flamethrowers in combat, she is not a damage dealer class but a healer. Her abilities allow her to restore the HP of her allies in combat.
The student playing the character in Soul Divers is a genius. She signs up for the game to satisfy her immense thirst for knowledge and new experiences.

This is the Archer: This agile class is exclusively male and uses the bow as a weapon in combat. Just like the Witch, the Archer is also a ranged fighter, but unlike her, he is not a pure damage dealer class. Rather, he is a supporter who can enhance his allies in combat.
His skills include not only normal shooting attacks but also area attacks that rain fire arrows down on opponents or trigger a frontal area attack while the Archer dodges backward.
The player of the Archer from the real world is a boy who loves skateboarding and impresses adults with his skills. This talent helps him to navigate well in the game Soul Divers.
This is the Destroyer: The purely male class Destroyer is the tank of Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds. He is a tough warrior who can deal powerful blows with his battle hammer. His relentless attacks draw the attention of enemies and give his allies enough time to recover or deal high damage.
His abilities allow him to spin wildly in a circle like a classic barbarian. He can also jump high into the air and smash his hammer down on opponents.
In real life, however, the Destroyer is absolutely peaceful and a gentle fellow. He owns a flower shop and loves the beautiful things in life.

Actually, Bungie has experience with legal disputes with cheat providers. However, the latest case did not go to court as the makers of Destiny 2 might have expected. Several claims were dismissed, but it is not over yet.
Who is Bungie taking action against? As reported by TorrentFreak.com, there is currently a legal dispute with AimJunkies.
What exactly is the lawsuit about? Since AimJunkies offers Destiny 2 hacks for sale, Bungie sees a violation of the rules and especially copyright, as the hacks rely on systems that are protected against copying and must not be modified.
Bungie accuses the cheat provider of trademark and copyright violations. The lawsuit was filed in late 2021 in Seattle, Washington.
The lawsuit is also directed against the Phoenix Digital Group, which is said to have created the software as a basis for cheats.
Prior to that, there were settlement discussions and AimJunkies had removed the cheats for Destiny 2, but they were still online as backups. After further legal actions by Bungie, the conflict flared up again.
AimJunkies applied for a dismissal of the case, stating that no law prohibits the offering of cheats. They also claimed not to have violated copyright.
Now a decision has been made in the dismissal proceedings, and it did not go well for Bungie: The lawsuit was dismissed, at least for now.
Although the case is not over, it is not a good start for Bungie. This is how the court justifies its decision.
Start video
Everything you need to know about Destiny 2 – in 2 minutes
The judge believes Bungie did not provide enough facts
This is how the cheat provider justifies why the lawsuit is unlawful: It is undisputed that this site actually offers cheats for sale.
AimJunkie argued that Bungie’s claims were simply too vague and imprecise. The cheat software is not a copy of any code from Destiny 2.
However, Bungie also made other accusations. These involve breach of contract and unjust enrichment.
According to AimJunkie, this does not belong in a federal court. Such cases are typically decided in arbitration.
The judge seems to have seen it the same way, as the verdict shows. The court found that Bungie did not provide enough facts and evidence to substantiate the lawsuit.
The presiding judge Zilly said:
In particular, Bungie has not cited facts explaining how the cheat software constitutes an unauthorized copy of any of the copyrighted works cited in the lawsuit. Bungie’s lawsuit must contain more than a ‘formulaic recitation of the elements of a cause of action.’
Has Bungie failed? No. They still have the option to collect further evidence for the lawsuit and try again.
However, it is quite possible that the case will not actually be continued in a federal court. The judge agrees that this is actually a case for arbitration due to Bungie’s own licensing agreements.
The judge advises both parties to resolve this matter out of court.
Aside from that, not all accusations by Bungie were dismissed. According to Judge Zilly, the claims regarding trademark law are valid and provide grounds for a case. Thus, at least the issue of trademark infringement should be clarified in court.
Although AimJunkies has achieved a small victory regarding copyright, Bungie still has some leeway to enforce its claims. Perhaps they will indeed present enough evidence to also enforce the copyright lawsuit.
Currently, the cheat provider is also apparently in a sales process to a Ukrainian investor group. So, it remains unclear how this will continue.
This is not the first lawsuit against a cheat provider; there have been several such disputes in the past.
Since April 26, the battle between hardcore players in Final Fantasy XIV against the new ultimate raid Dragon’s War (Fatal) has erupted. Players find themselves walking the fine line between fun and madness.
Attention: Heavy spoilers follow for the new raid Dragon’s War (Fatal) and the expansion Heavensward.
The situation in brief:
Ultimate Raids are the absolute hardest type of PvE content in FFXIV, tackled by about 5% of all players. After over 2 years of drought, the next ultimate raid Dragon’s War (Fatal). was released on April 26.
With the release, the race for the first kill of the raid began, involving dozens of hardcore players worldwide. Some groups stream their gameplay on Twitch, while others prefer to keep their progress private.
If the character survives, the future changes, and players are thrown into a much harder version of the fight.
Now, some groups seem to have reached the possibly final 8th phase of Dragon’s War (Fatal), which appears to be quite challenging. On Twitter, some of the well-known hardcore raiders expressed their dismay at the extreme difficulty of the new raid.

“This is no joke. This is completely ridiculous.”
These comments include: For already 6 days in a row, the toughest of the hardcore raiders in FFXIV have been grappling with the new fight and are being expertly taken apart by it. It’s visible in the numerous wipe clips, as well as in the comments and tweets that sound increasingly horrified.

“I could really use a hug right now” and “I want to meet the developer of this fight, roll up a newspaper, and hit him on the nose: ‘No. Don’t do that. Bad developer.'” – @Sindalf
“Micropixel safe spot, the ultimate.” – @FFXIVMomo
“Maybe it was better that Haurchefant died.” – @FFsfia
However, most comments remain quite cryptic and do not specify why the fight is completely ridiculous. Also to avoid revealing how far their own group has progressed.

However, viewers of the streams can piece it together somewhat. It appears that the group Thoughts per Second has reached the currently last known phase of the fight, where they must face the dragons Nidhogg and Hraesvelgr simultaneously, and this phase is particularly tough.
The fights in FFXIV are choreographies of very fast and ruthless sequences of mechanics containing a certain element of randomness that must be perfectly executed by the entire group. Otherwise, a wipe occurs.

The streamer Arthras is horrified by the return of dive bombs and twisters, annoying mechanics from a previous ultimate fight.
In contrast to the last two ultimate fights, Dragon’s War does not appear to have a “hidden, clever” mechanic that players must solve before proceeding. Rather, it is a brutal mix of relentless DPS checks and pixel-perfect positioning to avoid being hit by one-shot attacks.
Especially after time is turned back and the future is changed, the difficulty increases significantly. The already known mechanics of King Thordan are mixed with the mechanics from the first ultimate fight, Bahamut.

The fact that there is only one checkpoint right at the start after the first phase also contributes to the difficulty. Raiders must endure at least 6 phases of the fight with full concentration, which is very exhausting.
If one of the players in the group slips up and makes a mistake, it usually leads to a complete wipe, or the group fails the DPS check. They are sent back to the beginning of the 2nd phase and must endure nearly the entire fight anew.
But despite all the deaths and the mechanical madness, the raiders enjoy the fight and are getting closer to victory.
Meanwhile, the developers are fighting their own battle in PvP:
With Bloodhunt, an unusual battle royale has been released on Steam at the end of April. You take on the roles of vampires and hunt other vampires. But how is the game being received? We summarize the reviews from the past few days.
What is Bloodhunt? This is a multiplayer spin-off of Vampire: The Masquerade. Bloodhunt is a free-to-play battle royale where you play as a vampire and must fight for survival against other vampires on the streets of Prague.
Here you have various abilities available and can move very quickly thanks to the third-person perspective and parkour feature.
During combat, you can even drink the blood of civilians as long as no one notices you.
The announcement was not well received by fans as they were actually waiting for Bloodlines 2, a full-fledged story RPG, and did not want a multiplayer game.
Nevertheless, the game made its way to Steam, having been playable in early access from September to November 2021, and managed to gain some fans. The game has now been released on Steam since April 27. We show you how it is currently being received.
Beforehand, you can watch the dark trailer for Bloodhunt here:

Bloodhunt is mostly positively rated on Steam – “Different from the others”
This is howBloodhunt is received by first players: Even the early access phase managed to garner numerous positive ratings, and since release, there have been even more.
Overall, Bloodhunt stands at 71% positive reviews, with around 27,000 total. Since the release on April 27, another good 3,400 reviews have come in, which are again 74% positive.
Thus, Bloodhunt seems to be well-received by most players, even though smaller battle royale games often have a tough time.
What is rated positively? Here are some excerpts from individual reviews:
“I love the aesthetics of the game as well as the easy-to-learn gameplay. The constant action makes it a game I will definitely invest some time in once there are more updates.” – Yxseen
“Weapons and powers both feel good, the movements are great. There could be a bit more customization options for faces and hair at launch, but that’s not a big deal.” – Urgo Yumei
“The game has a great ‘World of Darkness’ atmosphere and the fights feel like you’re a vampire.” – Akara The Lost
Many praise that it stands out positively from most other games of its kind and brings fresh air into the genre. Particularly highlighted are the atmosphere and the feeling of truly being a vampire. The game is also considered beginner-friendly and easy to learn.
Positive aspects are also the quest lines that can appear during a match. The balancing of classes, ranged weapons, and abilities has overall been well executed.
What is not so good? Some players complain about missing quality-of-life features and would like to see more game modes. For example, currently, it is not possible to play in duo mode.
Some also report hardware-specific issues that make the game partially unplayable for them. However, this cannot be confirmed. Overall, there are only a few people reporting such problems. The reviews suggest that there is likely still a need for optimization.
Additionally, there are some bugs and glitches that seem to have survived despite early access or have newly occurred. Overall, they do not seem to be severe. There are also recurring connection issues.

What kind of game is this? Originallyreleased Planet Coaster in 2016 for PC, followed by console releases in 2020. It’s a typical building game focused on theme parks.
I actually consider it a sacrilege to play such games on a console because I find it somehow impractical without a mouse and keyboard. But I love theme parks and used to enjoy RollerCoaster Tycoon as well. Plus, I didn’t plan to spend so much time on it.
So: Installed and fired it up.
What makes Planet Coaster so incredibly good: To get an overview of the game, I started in the tutorial and learned the basics of park building there. The first ride, a few service buildings, guest needs, and roller coaster crafting – you learn all of this there.
Moreover, you learn the controls. At first, they are a bit clunky, and I’m sure it’s a tad easier on PC, especially with all the menus and details you can place on the map.
But all in all, Planet Coaster plays surprisingly intuitively with the PS5 controller. At least, it’s intuitive enough that I still haven’t felt the need to try out mouse-keyboard control on the console – which Planet Coaster offers.
There is plenty of space for park expansion
After the tutorial, I jumped straight into challenge mode. Here you can freely build your own dream park while ensuring that you neither run out of money nor make the guests cranky. That should be no problem with my newly acquired theme park skills.
Then it began: I set myself the goal of building the best space theme park in the world. With this endeavor, I went bankrupt twice within half an hour due to expensive space props and massive mismanagement.
So I set my sights on building the best Wild West theme park in the world, as covered wagons are cheaper than spaceships. And now things started to come together.
You can assign individual cowboys and banditsAnd stands like hot dog stands can also be erectedThere are also statistics for guests, rides, and moreYou can place a sea monsterA flying ship in the background is possible
Once you’ve survived the first minutes without going bankrupt, you start to grasp the detail level of this game. I realized: I can not only build a Wild West town from pre-made houses and corresponding rides. No, no, no.
I can:
Customize the entire terrain of the park as I wish. Huge mountains, deep caves, lakes – everything is possible.
Place individual animatronics or decorations almost anywhere I want.
Combine buildings freely.
Add special effects. Dry ice, flamethrowers, fog machines – whatever. It feels like everything is possible.
Trees, bushes, neon signs, flags, scaffolding – the list of little details you can incorporate is simply endless.
See the thoughts of the guests and respond accordingly.
Change the colors and designs of the rides.
Manage a bit of the park – from staff salaries to the price of the jumbo hot dog. And yes: even 50 cents can make a big difference.
Build custom roller coasters from scratch – but I haven’t gotten around to that yet.
Since my framework for the park is up, I can’t stop. I regularly get lost in absolute detail work: then I tinker in a thematic area here and there, spruce up the waiting lines, make roller coasters more exciting, and distribute hot dog stands endlessly. The latter is especially popular – and my guests should be happy.
I regularly check from the guests’ perspective how my creations look – and I’m delighted every time like a little child when it looks just like I imagined it.
The cowboy park is by no means where it ends. Because there are themed worlds from Western to sci-fi to city, fairy tale, or even “Ghostbusters.” Additionally, you can purchase more packages. But I’m initially focusing on my Wild West town and the pirates.
I would have never expected that Planet Coaster would captivate me so much as it currently does. It’s just incredibly fun to let your imagination run wild and tinker with the park.
Additionally, you can also view creations from other players, use them, and upload your own creations. Planet Coaster also offers some exchange with others – at least a little bit.
Anyway, I now actually have a game in which I can really immerse myself on weekends – it’s just not what I was initially looking forward to. I can only recommend that if you downloaded Planet Coaster with PS Plus in February and have ignored it so far, take a look at it.
Have you ever had a game that wouldn’t let you go? Maybe even a building game? Tell us in the comments!
Are you looking for a relaxing game to pass the time? Then consider whether you have enough room for “Planet Coaster” – because this game won’t let you go.
You probably know the feeling: You have your eye on a new game and are looking forward to truly losing yourself in it again. For me, it was “Elden Ring”. I got to test it as a complete Souls beginner before the release and was instantly captivated.
However, I realized that I wasn’t used to the tough gameplay.
So I started playing Demon’s Souls on the PS5. I fought, cast spells, sneaked, and rolled through grueling levels, defeating boss after boss – of course, only after several attempts. My plan: If I train hard here, I’ll be perfectly prepared for Elden Ring.
I had an absolute blast with Demon’s Souls and at the same time observed how much praise Elden Ring received. Accordingly, my anticipation grew even more. But I wanted to finish Demon’s Souls first.
But then daily life got in the way: Suddenly you have long workdays, stress, and a lot to do; you know the drill. And one evening, the desire to get slaughtered again in Upper Latria after a hard day disappeared.
Instead, I wanted something light, casual, and entertaining. Something I could quickly start, and then set aside to dive back into the Souls madness.
So I searched my library and chose “Planet Coaster,” which had been floating around since February – as it was one of the free games with PS Plus. I thought: Build roller coasters, make guests happy, tinker around a bit, and then set it aside.
Let’s just say: I haven’t played Elden Ring to this day. And I haven’t played Demon’s Souls either.

Twitch streamer Jake’n’Bake is known for his videos of his travels around the world. While he was live, TrainwreckTV suddenly contacted him and casually sent him 113,080 Euros – for a new Porsche.
Who is Jake’n’Bake? Although the streamer is not one of the biggest and most well-known figures on Twitch, he still has around 589,000 followers.
He is considered an IRL streamer, showing not only how he plays but mainly things from real life, such as his travels around the world. He has been living in Japan since 2017, for example.
Recently, he won the AT&T Annihilator Cup 2022, celebrating the victory on Twitch. There, he dreamed of owning a Porsche. Specifically, a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4. The car costs at least 100,000 Euros depending on the version on the Porsche website.
This is what the Porsche looks like.
What initially seems like typical dreams of the favorite car quickly becomes a reality within seconds.
Because suddenly the Twitch streamer TrainwreckTV calls him while he is live and donated him $120,000, which is equivalent to 113,080 Euros. Jake is initially completely stunned; you can watch his reaction here in the clip:

Jake is understandably completely overwhelmed and can hardly believe his luck. At first, he is speechless and can hardly get a word out, only things like “What the hell??? What do you mean???”; at times he is barely understandable due to his excitement.
Then he asks his generous donor why he is doing this at all. At first, he simply says, “Buy the car, you deserve it, and post it on Twitter.”
Then the streamer adds that he finds Jake’s Twitch channel “underrated.” He doesn’t go into much detail, and the call lasts less than a minute.
Jake kept his promise, at least almost. Because the Porsche he wants still has to be built in the workshop. However, he shows his configuration with a screenshot from the official site:
He still can hardly believe his luck, writes that his brain is literally “broken” and thanks his donor for the gesture. He repeats once again: “You deserve it, bro!”
Under the tweet, there are many positive comments for Trainwreck; his gesture is very well received.
In Pokémon GO today, on May 1st, a Raid Day will run for three hours. During this time, you will also receive free Raid Passes and a higher chance of Shinies. We will show you the event details.
What is this event? On April 29th, the event “A Mega Moment” started in Pokémon GO with special research, new spawns, changed field research rewards, and the new Mega Kangaskhan.
As part of this event, a three-hour Raid Day with the new Mega Kangaskhan takes place this Sunday.
The Raid Day with Kangaskhan at a glance
When does it start? The Raid Day with Mega Kangaskhan begins at 11:00 AM local time. It will then last for three hours and end at 2:00 PM local time.
What bonuses are there? During the event, Mega Kangaskhan will appear more frequently in Mega Raids. As some trainers who have already participated in other time zones report, the Kangaskhan Raids last for 6 hours per gym (via reddit.com). So you have enough time to assemble a team.
In the overview of the regional Pokémon, you see the normal form and the Shiny Kangaskhan
Additionally, the chances of encountering Shiny Kangaskhan during the event are increased.
To allow you to participate in some raids without spending coins, you will receive free passes. During the event and up to two hours afterwards, you can receive a total of 5 free Raid Passes by spinning photo discs at gyms.
At the beginning of the event in the earliest time zones, Mega Kangaskhan had 47,948 CP in the Raid. This made the raids harder and caused trainer groups to increase their members from 2 to at least 3. A few hours later, the error was corrected, and Kangaskhan has 37,140 CP in Mega Raids, making it possible to defeat it in pairs with the right counters again.
Whoever buys a graphics card or purchases other items on Amazon and similar platforms often finds small packets with white gel inside. But what is this and what is it even good for? MeinMMO explains to you what is inside these packets.
You find this stuff everywhere. Whether you buy hardware or treat yourself to a new pair of shoes: In the cardboard box, you often find these packets with small balls inside. With labels such as “Do not eat” and “Throw away,” the stuff initially looks dangerous. But why would manufacturers pack dangerous items with their products?
Many people also throw this stuff away, because with used graphics cards that you can get cheaper, the packets are usually not included. MeinMMO explains to you what is inside these packets and why you keep finding these items in your belongings.
Silica gel protects your items from moisture
What is inside the packets? In the small packets with the threatening label is the drying agent silicon dioxide (SiO2). We know it better under the name silica gel. This stuff is odorless and colorless.
It consists of rubber-like balls that are mainly used as a drying agent. The balls are not water-soluble, but can absorb water and thus keep things dry or dry them out.
For this reason, you will mainly find these packets with items that need to be protected from moisture. For example, in shoeboxes, with sensitive electronic devices like motherboards or graphics cards, and even with medications.
With computers or other sensitive devices, the so-called anti-condensation bags are supposed to ensure that no condensation forms with fluctuating temperatures, thus damaging the electronics.
To protect sensitive components, manufacturers pack silica gel bags in the box.
You shouldn’t throw away the packets, as you can use them wisely
That’s why you shouldn’t throw away the silica gel: The small packets can be meaningfully reused after their original purpose.
For example, you can dry out soaked shoes or bags with them. Instead of stuffing newspaper into wet shoes, just take a packet with silica gel.
If you travel to a warm, humid place, it can also be worthwhile to pack a packet with your medications or sensitive electronics.
As soon as the silica gel absorbs moisture, the balls change color. This depends on what color the gel was before. Orange balls, for instance, turn into blue-green.
Even after drying, you can continue to use the packets. To do this, you heat the packets briefly to release the moisture again. Because moisture does not stay in the balls permanently.

The announcement of the MMOARPG Diablo Immortal for mobile devices did not go well at all. But now the game has also been announced for PC, and more Diablo fans are showing interest. In the MeinMMO Podcast, we discuss the game’s history in detail.
This is the topic: For a long time, the offshoot Diablo Immortal had a very poor reputation in the gaming community. As a mobile game, it was frowned upon and not considered a “real Diablo.” After all, the series was exclusively on PC until part 3.
However, the feedback from initial tests sounded surprisingly positive and surprisingly more like an MMORPG than an A-RPG. There were raids and dungeons, PvP, and class switching in the game.
In this episode of the MeinMMO Podcast, Alexander Leitsch, Gerd Schuhmann, and Benedict Grothaus talk extensively about the A-RPG and its development history so far.

The Danish manufacturer eBlaztr offers a gaming PC that is quite unique in its kind. This is because the computer not only stands on legs but also does not require an additional monitor. MeinMMO had already reported on the gaming PC on legs with built-in monitor.
Now, the well-known YouTube channel Linus Tech Tips has been able to try out the gaming PC and explains what he thinks of the device.
Gaming PC on legs with built-in monitor costs a lot of money
What kind of device is this? The manufacturer itself states on its website that the gaming PC “was designed as the ultimate solution for an uncompromising gaming experience anywhere.” (via eblaztr.com).
It is a gaming PC that stands on legs and has a monitor panel installed. You can therefore “disassemble” the PC at any time, pack it into a special backpack, and transport it to the next location.
How much does all this cost? The prices start at $349 just for the Eblaztr case; for a device with gaming hardware, you already pay $2,345. So for the mobile PC, you pay around 2,200 Euros. The high-end version with a Core i9-12900KS and RTX 3090 Ti costs $7,200.
However, the cool thing is that you can completely build the device yourself. Because if you only buy the case, you can choose the hardware you want to install and also choose a display yourself. Therefore, you can also just buy the case and assemble the hardware yourself. That’s exactly what the YouTube channel Linus Tech Tips has done now.
Tech YouTuber tests gaming PC: “I am not the target audience for this”
Who tests the device? Linus Sebastian is the head of Linus Tech Tips, one of the most well-known tech channels on YouTube. Linus founded the channel in 2008 and now has around 14.5 million subscribers (as of April 30, 2022).
On his YouTube channel, Linus Sebastian comments on things like gaming PCs, graphics cards, or just everything that comes his way in technology, either alone or with guests.

The video from Linus Tech Tips about the unique gaming PC.
How does he like the device? The case is very organized, and Linus praises that it is very easy to install hardware. The manufacturer relies on high-quality materials, such as an aluminum panel on the back of the system.
Overall, it takes him about an hour to install all the hardware in the case. The final result also looks tidy and organized, and Linus explains that the PC looks really “fantastic”. The hardware fits almost perfectly into the case, and even without instructions, it was quite easy to quickly install the hardware in the case.
Linus also immediately notices, however, that the case does not provide case fans. He also explains that the case does not allow much depth. Components like graphics cards or coolers must not be too wide for them to fit in the case.
In practical tests, the system gets very hot, and during stress tests, the temperatures rise significantly. This is mainly because, Linus explains, the graphics card blows warm air into the case, and the processor does not get fresh air for cooling. The installed panel from Shark Gaming can only convince him to a limited extent.
Moreover, Linus explains that the special backpack for the computer is not yet final. The eBlaztr team is not satisfied with the backpack yet, and they are working on a new, improved version.
What is his conclusion? Basically, he finds that the device has a lot of potential. He explains that one can assemble the device oneself and thus determine the hardware and price oneself. Since the model tested was only a prototype, the manufacturer is likely to make adjustments as well. This includes, for example, the backpack, with which eBlaztr is not yet satisfied.
However, he also points out that such a gaming PC on legs is only aimed at a very specific target group that needs such all-in-one PCs. He himself only says:
I believe this thing is not designed for me. I am not the target audience.
Unique gaming PCs are not only available from eBlaztr. The manufacturer SEGA has introduced a very special gaming PC. This PC can drive around on wheels. SEGA calls the PC itself the “world’s fastest gaming PC” – and no computer on the road is likely to be faster.
A new leak from the Polish Xbox store suggests that the shooter Battlefield 2042 might soon be coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
This leak is about: The Polish site xgp.pl published a screenshot from the Xbox game store showing the product page for the game Battlefield 2042. Also visible in the image is the small “Game Pass” icon.
This indicates that the shooter should be available in the popular Xbox subscription service. That is currently not the case, which means it could either be a mistake or a leak. However, the trend currently leans more towards a leak.
Similar slip-ups occurred with the games Mass Effect: Legendary Edition and Resident Evil Village, both of which actually ended up in Xbox Game Pass.

The assumption is that Battlefield 2042 will be available through EA Play in the Ultimate version of Game Pass.
When is this supposed to happen? Allegedly, Battlefield 2042 will already be playable on May 5th, next week, via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
As with all leaks, the rule also applies here: take it with caution. There is no official confirmation that Battlefield 2042 will actually be available in the Pass.

Poor release and poor communication ruined the game
These were the issues with Battlefield 2042: Since its release in November 21, the shooter has struggled with massive performance issues and declining player numbers. The launch was very bumpy with connection problems and error messages.
Insider leaks about internal management communication at EA regarding the game painted a bizarre picture of relativizing their own blame. News about problems and player complaints did not stop after the release:
It went so far that the predecessor, Battlefield V, according to the statistics site Steamcharts has seven times the player count of 2042.
Battlefield V has 20,330 players in the last 24 hours
Battlefield 2042 can only show 3,203 active players.
EA itself openly admitted during an earnings call in February 2022 that Battlefield 2042 had failed and did not meet expectations. There were even rumors that the shooter might go free-to-play.
Now, however, it seems EA has found another “solution.” If the Polish leak is true and the game ends up in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, it would open the game up to a large group of players.
In the meantime, many remaining players are not pleased:
When Destiny 2 sealed the fate of the Tangled Shore, it also marked the end of the gunrunner Spider. His role was taken over by Master Rahool, the serious Cryptarch. However, since the “legalization,” trading has become only half as enjoyable. The Destiny 2 lore expert Andy Edition is therefore investigating in his latest videothe fate of Spider and the possibility of his return.
It wasn’t that long ago that the Guardians could visit the Fallen “Spider” in the Tangled Shore. He was, alongside Xur, the second mysterious trader in the game and had secured the reputation of being one of the coolest merchants in the Destiny universe since Forsaken.
He became particularly known for his shady deals in a Mafia-like fashion. Those who traded with him knew they owed Spider a favor afterward.
This is how casually Spider conducted his best deals until Season 16.
Additionally, the eight-armed black market boss had the coolest curiosities on offer that every Guardian would have loved to buy all at once:
Before the return of the Gjallarhorn, Spider offered the “Midnight Special.” A kind of fake Gjallarhorn that only he had at the time. He wanted 20 exotic engrams for it.
A ghost for 999,999 Glimmer, who sat in a cage and wanted to be released.
A seed ghost, the origin of a war mind, for a proud 5 seeds of light.
A map with coordinates beyond the solar system, which should be paid for with 5 Hermion flower fossils.
The key to the personal quarters of the executioner Hideo for 500 dark fragments.
And a Hadium Flake, a material from Destiny 1 that does not exist in the second part.
After the release of Witch Queen, the Tangled Shore and Spider became a victim of the content vault and his fate became unknown from that point onward.
That’s why Spider is missed now: Initially, Guardians were glad that Spider’s trading was moved to the Tower. This ended the constant back-and-forth flying to the Tangled Shore and back when cash was tight.
Master Rahool does sell his goods, but the deals with him are only half as interesting because they are legal.
What exactly happened to Spider? The Guardians were unable to find any trace of Spider just before the servers were shut down and the Tangled Shore was deactivated as a destination. Did he escape beforehand?
Master Rahool is not a good black market trader and far too serious.
What happened to Spider and where is he now?
Andy Edition, also a fan of Spider, has been investigating the question of where the Fallen might be now. In his latest video, he refreshes the events surrounding Spider for you and has an interesting theory about his current whereabouts.

Andy Edition has a theory about Spider’s current whereabouts.
What do you think? Do you want Spider to come back? Or are you completely satisfied with the deals at Master Rahool? Do you also believe that the Drifter still has contact with Spider, and could he play a role in the future story of Destiny 2? Would you like it if Spider finds a secret home in the Tower? Feel free to share your ideas in the comments.

The gas canisters in Call of Duty: Warzone are usually considered more of a nice gimmick rather than a useful gameplay element. But the underestimated explosives can do more than they seem – because they enjoy “elevator rides”.
The usual problem: you stand in front of a zipline in Call of Duty: Warzone and already know exactly what awaits you at the top. The muzzle of a smirking camper.
One team member tries it anyway. The zipline is long, the ride up feels like it takes forever. The second team member loses their nerves. Even before “Dead Player 1” reaches the top, number 2 also signs their death warrant.
As the only survivor, you stand below shaking your head and forcing a maniacal “YOLO” out of your face. “Click” – grab the zipline and together, decorate opponents with sprays in the Gulag.
Do you recognize yourself in this little anecdote? Then there’s a cool trick that can save you from nasty zipline campers.

Gas canisters and ziplines work together
How does it work? A little-known mechanic in Warzone allows the gas canister to shoot up via zipline. As seen in this reddit clip:

Your operator ignites the canister, clamps it onto the zipline, and the explosive is already on its way. In the video, the thread creator “LegoManPro” blows one of the “redeploy balloons” into the air.
This also works with all other ziplines that lead up. However, the canisters do not want to go down – that leads directly to a gas explosion.
The explosion of the canister temporarily disrupts enemies at the top and even leaves you a smoke cloud for cover. If enemies are directly at the end of the zipline, they also take a heavy hit from the explosion.
The damage can be further increased if you combine it with a Claymore:

The next time you don’t trust a zipline, clamp the canister on and ride 2 seconds later. There’s no guarantee of survival, but the odds are significantly better.
Warzone has many small mechanics that can save your butt in the right situation. Experiment, forget the standard pattern, and always think about how to stay one step ahead of your enemies during the match.
Many games on Steam offer Achievements. However, there is one game that has an achievement that is particularly absurd and time-consuming. MeinMMO explains what it entails.
Achievements challenge gamers to play a game repeatedly and attempt the most impossible tasks. For some, you have to complete the game in a special way or not use certain aids or weapons. How important achievements are to many users is shown in a discussion in Elder Scrolls Online, where achievements were revised.
But for a particularly crazy achievement, you don’t have to solve a complex task. Instead, you should not start the game even once for many years. MeinMMO explains what game this is and what you need to do.
For an achievement, you must not play the Steam game for 10 years
Which game is it? A few days ago, the game “The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe” was released on Steam (via steampowered.com).
This is a remake of the old game from 2013. The team behind it has revamped the game, upgraded the graphics, and added new content.
In the game, you control the protagonist Stanley from a first-person perspective through various rooms. Each of your steps is commented on by a narrator, and you can decide at certain points in the game how the story continues. You can see how the game looks in the following video:
This is what Stanley Parable looks like in the video.
What kind of achievement is that? The game has an achievement named “Go Out and Have Some Fun.” The requirement for this achievement is that you do not play “The Stanley Parable” for 10 years and then start it again. This means that if you buy the game today, you can unlock the achievement only in 2032. At least you have a plan for what you want to accomplish in 10 years.
This is the achievement on Steam.
Do I really have to wait that long? You can also “cheat” if you want to get the achievement right away. For this, you need to go into the settings of your computer and manually set the date and time 10 years into the future. This way, you can also get the achievement “Go Out and Have Some Fun” directly. But the developers probably didn’t envision it this way.
By the way, the original game was released in 2013 on Steam. All users who already have the achievement on Steam likely used a similar trick.
More exciting games on Steam: There are regularly crazy and exciting games to discover on Steam. A particularly challenging shooter that fully embraces realism has now set a new player record many years after its release. MeinMMO introduces the game and explains why gamers are still spending a lot of time in this game 7 years after its release:
