In Pokémon GO the Hisui event is coming soon. It is being significantly enhanced, as trainers were able to unlock the new Hyperbonus over the weekend.
What is a Hyperbonus? Last weekend, the local “GO Fest” in Seattle took place, which also featured a global challenge for all trainers around the world. The challenge was: Participate in a total of 15,000,000 raids.
This task was successfully completed over the weekend, unlocking the so-called “Hyperbonus”. This will now be used in the “Hisui Discoveries” event and provides it with some extra bonuses.
We will show you how the event is improved here.
Hisui-Washakwil makes its debut – Even shiny
This is the monster: Washakwil is already known from Pokémon GO, where it is the evolution of Geronimatz.
Now the Hisui variant of the great eagle is coming into play – the version known from Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The monster will be available in raids for the first time.
In addition, there will be a new raid tag under the motto “Hisui Discoveries.”
The raid tag will take place on Sunday, July 31, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
There is an increased chance of XL candies in local raids.
50% more XP for winning raids.
5 free raid passes from gym photo discs – during the event and up to two hours after.
Additionally, the chance of encountering a shiny Hisui-Washakwil will be increased. A post on reddit shows how the shiny version looks:

These bonuses are added: In addition to Hisui-Washakwil, Icognito S will also appear in raids during the event. There is also a chance of encountering a shiny, but the rate is not increased.
In addition, the regional Pokémon Sodamak will be available worldwide in raid battles and the wild. It can also be encountered as shiny.
Riot Games, the developer of League of Legends, bought the sandbox MMORPG Hytale in 2020. This game resembles Minecraft in its fundamentals but aims to do things differently. The release, initially planned for early 2023, has now been postponed indefinitely.
What kind of game is this? Hytale was developed by a group of former Minecraft modders. They formed their own development studio and drew a lot of attention with a trailer in early 2019.
In 2020, the studio was then purchased by Riot Games. The former indie studio with 30 developers has now become an independent company with over 100 employees, who are still working in parallel with the rest of Riot. Together, they want to create an interesting game:
Hytale is supposed to offer you three options:
A creative mode with mods.
A social hub to showcase achievements and experience mini-games and events.
Orbis, a mode reminiscent of an MMORPG.
You will create your own avatar that represents you in all three modes. This avatar is very important to the developers, and there will be many options for it.
In the MMORPG world, you can expect story quests, a developer-created environment, boss monsters, dungeons, other players, and of course, the option to build freely. It is somewhat unclear whether you can also gather all resources in the world.
Orbis is designed for “competitive play.” There is a distinction between PvE and PvP servers, and anti-cheat will be needed to use Hytale.
The developers want to offer many public servers, but it should also be possible to host your own, as in Minecraft.
Originally, the sandbox game was supposed to be released at the end of 2021. However, after the acquisition by Riot Games, the year 2023 was targeted for release. But even that is no longer being met.
A first glimpse is provided by the original announcement trailer, which has garnered over 59 million views since 2018:

Hytale – Trailer zum Minecraft-MMORPG
Hytale receives a new engine to be released on multiple platforms
What is causing the delay? In the major summer update of 2022, the developers announced that they are completely overhauling the engine of Hytale. This aims to strengthen performance, facilitate future updates, and allow Hytale to be released on other platforms besides PC.
However, this is causing a delay in the release of the game. The blog states:
It definitely has an impact, but the redevelopment of the engine is progressing swiftly and we are reaching our internal milestones. However, the game will not come to market in 2023, which was the earliest release date we mentioned last year.
Currently, everything indicates that Hytale will be released at the earliest in 2024. However, there is no new release timeframe yet.
Additionally, there is currently significant work being done on the UI, which will likely differ more clearly from Minecraft in the future.
An image with artworks of the various biomes in Hytale.
Why is the game so interesting? Essentially, Hytale resembles Minecraft in many ways – and not just because of the visuals. A sandbox game where players can gather resources, fight monsters, and use mods is likely not a completely new invention.
However, Hytale delivers things that Minecraft cannot. Especially character customization, story content, and generally more features, such as fixed mini-games or planned events in social hubs, stand out.
What do you think of Hytale? Does the idea appeal to you, or are you not interested in a Minecraft MMORPG? What content does the game need to attract you? Feel free to write it in the comments.
In the latest edition of our podcast, we discussed the most promising MMORPGs:
On the weekend of July 23rd and 24th, there were such significant issues in League of Legends that Riot now wants to refund players their money. Numerous bugs plagued the amateur tournament “League of Legends – Shadow Isles Clash.” Riot wants to refund players their entry fees, but that is not enough for those who were successful in the tournament.
What happened in LoL over the weekend?? From July 23rd to 24th, the “League of Legends – Shadow Isles Clash” took place, a special competitive game mode that one must pay to access. It is a kind of “LoL tournament for amateurs”:
5 players compete on a team: A team captain takes care of the organization. Teams are classified into different tiers based on their skill level: Signing up with a “valid mobile number” aims to prevent strong players from registering with weak accounts, known as “smurfing.”
You need a ticket and must therefore pay an entry fee: There are “Basic Tickets” and “Premium Tickets” with better prizes. The tickets can be purchased in the store, where they can be bought with “Blue Essence” (the in-game currency) or Riot Points (the cash currency). A Premium Ticket costs 975 points – about €7.
The rewards include trophies, orbs, victory points, and capsules: With the victory points, banners can be unlocked.

Numerous bugs plague the Clash tournament in LoL
What went wrong? There were major issues in the tournament that disrupted the proceedings. Due to a multitude of glitches and bugs, players missed their games or did not receive their rewards after victories. There are also reports of long waiting times in line.
Players received messages that they could not join a team because they were already in one.
However, the biggest problem for many was: after successes, the rewards did not come.
Riot promises refunds – players want their victory prizes
This is Riot’s response: Executive Producer “Riot Brightmoon” assured on Sunday via Twitter: they are aware of the problems and are currently investigating the cause of the issues. They want to refund players their fees if they were affected by the issues.

The Scrapper in Lost Ark is a martial artist who quickly punches her opponents. She is easy to play and offers beginner-friendly gameplay, but there are a few things to keep in mind. MeinMMO author Anny Bader has taken a closer look at her and explains what to pay attention to.
The Scrapper is a beginner-friendly subclass of the martial artist. She wields a weapon on each arm and strikes with her fists. She is one of the few classes without mana consumption, as her identity regenerates abilities.
Update: The article was published on 30.03.2022 and was last revised on 25.07. Since the May update, there is a build for the Shock training Scrapper that is even better. We have included this.
In battle, you position yourself as a Scrapper behind the opponent, as you deal more damage from behind and your attacks have limited range. Therefore, while you are limited in positioning, you compensate for this as a Scrapper with a lot of agility.
Your dodge skill differs from other classes, as you can press it twice in a row. This doubles the cooldown from five to ten seconds.
Additionally, the class has good crowd control (CC), allowing you to stun your opponents beautifully. However, your super armor is low, which means you can quickly get knocked down as the Scrapper.
On the Tier List from MeinMMO, the Scrapper is rated A-tier in PvE. She is less suitable for PvP, where she belongs to C-tier.

This is how the Scrapper plays
This is the special abilityof the Scrapper: Her identity consists of two energy bars, one yellow and one green. Accordingly, there are green and yellow abilities that use the respective energy.
Balance is important: The bars fill each other, meaning yellow attacks fill the green bar and vice versa. Yellow energy also regenerates over time, while green energy does not.
Yellow attacks are weaker and have a short cooldown, so they can be spammed. That’s why they are also called stamina skills. The green attacks, on the other hand, are called shock skills. They have longer charge times but deal significantly more damage.
All abilities of the Scrapper
Yellow energy
Dragon’s Arrival: Concentrate energy before jumping at the opponent.
Instant Strike: Lightning strike that stuns opponents.
Pounding Fists: Hold briefly to execute a hail of punches.
Iron Cannon Punch: Elbow strike. Then you turn and hit again. Press again to execute a powerful blow.
Earthquake Chain: Stomp on the ground, knock opponents down.
Chain of Resonance: Shockwave that deals damage and then pulls opponents to you.
Continuous Thrust: Move forward while attacking. Press and hold again to attack continuously.
Charging Strike: Three attacks while charging forward. Then comes a final attack with a gauntlet.
Whirling Tiger Claw: Two quick strikes that knock opponents down.
Crushing Smite: Three shockwaves in front of you.
Green energy
Chain Destruction Fist: You pound the ground multiple times, dealing damage. The radius increases with each strike.
Critical Hit: Shock energy attack. Hold and overload to deal even more damage.
Judgment: Jump into the air, strike down, and slam opponents to the ground.
Roundup Sweeper: Diagonal fist strike.
Supernova: Explosion that pulls in opponents. After that, you strike them.
Death Rattle: Release all green energy to deal damage. The more is charged, the greater the damage.
True Uppercut: Jump forward into the air and push opponents away. Use the ability again to attack again. Previously knocked opponents take 50% more damage.
Torn Punch: Move 3m forward and deal damage. The fuller the green bar, the more damage.
Awakenings
Unbeatable Dragon King: Attack at the destination. You move towards it while two black dragons rise beside you and destroy your target.
Myst. Art: Devastating Shockwave: Tear the ground open 14m wide, deal damage, and knock opponents away.
The Scrapper in the Level Process
How should I distribute my first skill points? It is important when distributing the points that you never need to raise the skill levels higher than level 10. Skill Level 4 is required for the first tripod, Skill Level 7 for the second, and Skill Level 10 for the third.
Level 12: Put 4 points each into Charging Strike and Dragon’s Arrival to utilize the tripod Great Agility.
Level 14: 4 points into Death Rattle.
Level 16: Now put 20 points into Earthquake Chain for a lot of AoE damage.
Level 20: 20 points into Chain Destruction Fist.
Level 26: More points into Earthquake Chain, now a total of 48.
Level 32: You should now also have 48 points into Chain Destruction Fist.
Level 40: 48 points into True Uppercut, for even more AoE damage.
Level 45: A total of 48 points into Death Rattle.
Level 50: Finally, 48 points into Roundup Sweeper.
This is what it looks like at level 50.
By the way, you can reset skill points anytime for free if you don’t like the play style. For example, you can prefer Demonic Clone during the leveling phase and replace the Cruel Strike.

The Best Builds in Endgame
In the endgame, you choose, like with most other classes, between two class engravings. This decides your playstyle. With the Scrapper, you choose whether to focus on the yellow or the green bar.
Class Engraving A: Taijutsu
What does the engraving do? With this class engraving, you choose the yellow energy, i.e., the stamina skills. These deal 30% more damage, while the shock attacks deal 30% less.
The automatic regeneration of yellow energy increases to 300% at level 1 of the class engraving, and at level 3 even to 600%. You can therefore spam your attacks permanently.
You are very mobile, as you move forward with many of the stamina attacks. Additionally, as mentioned above, you can use the dodge skill twice. It is therefore easy to stay close to the target with the Scrapper. Furthermore, some attacks deal more damage when performed from behind.
You need to do this because your attacks have no great range. Therefore, you should take a position close to the opponent. One advantage of this, coupled with your mobility, is that you can counter excellently with the Scrapper. You can read how this works in this guide.
What other engravings do I use? In addition to the class engraving, Adrenaline is suitable. This engraving increases your crit rate, which is useful since you can use many attacks, increasing the critical chance of all of them.
Later, Master of Ambush becomes worthwhile, as some of your attacks benefit from being executed from behind.
Which collectible cards are important? To further increase your crit rate, you should initially focus on the Howling Rock card set. It consists of Armel, Seria, Solas, King Thirain, Kharmine, and Delain Armel.
The optimal set is Light of Redemption, which, however, consists of rare cards. Thus, it will be expensive later, but is worth it. The set consists of Shandi, Azena, and Innana, Nineveh, Wei, Balthorr, and Thirain. With a 6-piece set with 30-part awakening, the cards give you 8% more holy damage and convert all your damage into holy damage.

For awakening, you use Unbeatable Dragon King.
What does the rotation look like? Your goal is to continually execute attacks and have as little downtime as possible. Additionally, you should use the buff from Charging Strike and the debuff from Judgment as frequently as possible.
You start with Charging Strike to utilize the three seconds of damage buff from Prepare Attack to use Iron Cannon Punch and Pounding Fists.
Then you apply the debuff to your opponent with Judgment to use Death Rattle, Instant Strike, and Dragon’s Arrival.
Now most abilities are likely on cooldown. A good opportunity to use Continuous Thrust until the other skills are charged. Before that, use the buff from Charging Strike again.
Class Engraving B: Shock Training
What does the engraving do? This class engraving focuses on the green bar, which means shock abilities. Your shock skills deal 10% more damage and the bar automatically regenerates by 2% per second. At level three of the class engraving, that’s 20% more damage and 4% per second.
You still need to position yourself close to the opponent with this version of the Scrapper, as your abilities have limited range. The green skills also have long animations, which makes you very vulnerable while executing them.
Before the May update, you had to play many yellow skills to be able to use the greens. That’s different now. With the shock specialization, you automatically regenerate shock energy.
Additionally, the class engraving does not cause your yellow skills to deal less damage. Therefore, keep four of them initially and later three in your rotation.
For stats, focus on specialization and crit.
What other engravings do I use? Adrenaline works as a second engraving to increase your crit. After that, you can learn Master of Ambush, as some of your abilities deal more damage when used from behind.
To ease your rotation with Shock Training a bit, the engraving Spirit Absorption is also useful. This gives you 15% more attack and movement speed.
What collectible cards are important? The collectible cards do not differ from the other class engraving. To further increase your crit rate, you should initially focus on the Howling Rock card set. It consists of Armel, Seria, Solas, King Thirain, Kharmine, and Delain Armel.
The optimal one is also the set Light of Redemption, which, however, consists of rare cards. Thus, it will be expensive later, but is worth it.

What does the rotation look like? To get the most burst damage out of the Scrapper, you focus on filling the green bar quickly and using Supernova and Death Rattle as often as possible. It is important that you do not use Death Rattle with less than 76% energy, as you will lose too much energy and deal too little damage with it.
You start with Charging Strike and use the damage buff to then use Supernova.
Then follow Crushing Smite, by which you should have gathered enough energy to use Death Rattle.
With Wild Tiger Claw and Charging Strike, you charge your bar again. Then you use Chain Destruction Fist.
Ultimately, you always use one to two yellow attacks to have enough energy for the greens. This way, you maintain balance, which has become easier since the update. For the most powerful green attacks, use Charging Strike beforehand for the three-second damage buff.
What do you think of the Scrapper? Have you played her yet? Which class engraving have you chosen? Would you prefer to spam attacks with her and use the yellow attacks, or use the green attacks skillfully and deal enormous damage to the opponent? Feel free to let us know in the comments here on MeinMMO!
The World of Warcraft overrun by Murlocs instead of heroes. That’s apparently what we can expect to see in Dragonflight.
The reason the World of Warcraft looks the way it does today is primarily due to the rich history of the Warcraft universe. Countless conflicts, invasions by demons and other cosmic powers, massive wars, and mistakes in handling magic have shaped Azeroth. But what if some details in history had played out differently? That seems to be what Blizzard wants to explore with the new expansion Dragonflight, bringing a world where Murlocs have taken dominion. At least, that’s what it looks like.
What was found? During data mining, the folks at wowhead discovered some interesting maps that are supposed to be associated with a new feature. The most striking one is a map belonging to “Azmerloth.” It shows a map of the Dragonblight but with some concerning changes: all locations have been given a “Murloc name,” as you can see on the map:
A very Murloc-oriented version of the Dragonblight. Image source: wowhead
A few examples of the renaming:
From “Azjol Nerub” it became “Mrshy Blggrb”
“Galakrond’s Rest” is now “Glrlurglokr”
The “Wyrmrest Temple” becomes “Ergbrgls Flrgmrbbl”
From “Icecrown” it simply becomes “Brrrrrgl”
What does this belong to? This is not entirely clear yet. So far, these maps have only been found in the game files and belong to a feature currently called “Grand Adventure Time” – but that could be just an internal name and not final. So far, this feature includes several maps that already exist in the game in one form or another. These include:
The Black Empire (Ny’alotha)
The Pandaren Revolution (Vale of Eternal Blossoms)
War of the Sandstorms (Silithus)
The Gnoll War (Elwynn Forest)
Azmerloth (Dragonblight)
Dawn of the Primalists (Dracthyr starting area)
What could this be? The most obvious guess is that this is a new time travel feature connected with the bronze dragons. Because the first four events (Black Empire, Pandaren Revolution, War of the Sandstorms, and the Gnoll War) are significant occurrences in the past of World of Warcraft. If just one of these events had played out differently, Azeroth would likely look very different today. It could be conceivable that characters will have the opportunity to experience these events in some sort of “flashback” – similar to the scenarios and stories back in Mists of Pandaria.
The story of “Azmerloth” or the “Dawn of the Primalists” could then be alternative timelines, where one of the events turned out differently – like Murlocs becoming the dominant, sentient species on Azeroth.
In any case, these stories already sound interesting, even though so far only a few maps about them are known. Let’s hope the coming weeks in the alpha and beta of Dragonflight will reveal more about it…

Most people know Apple as one of the largest hardware companies in the world, known for their smartphone and notebook products. But they have also tried their hand at consoles in the past.
In spring 2022, rumors circulated in the gaming industry about a new product from smartphone giant Apple (via Gamerant). An internal source allegedly revealed that Apple is considering the possibilities of its own console.
Since the initial reports, nothing has changed on the front, and whether Apple will actually release its own console remains uncertain. However, it wouldn’t be their first experience in the console market. They already had that in 1996 with Apple Pippin.
Pippin – Joint product of Apple and Bandai
How did it come about? The plan to bring an Apple console to market arose around 1994 and originally came from Bandai. The CEO of Namco Bandai’s subsidiary approached Apple with the proposal to jointly produce a console.
During the 90s, up to 6 new consoles from various companies were released each year. The industry was much more diverse back then than it became around 2005, after Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft established themselves as undisputed market leaders. Consequently, Apple decided to pick up the idea and make it happen.
This is what the console from Apple looked like.
This was Apple Pippin: The original design was based on the Macintosh Classic II, a PC from Apple that was released in October 1991. The console had a massive resolution of 640×480 and ran on the Macintosh system software.
While Apple developed the actual hardware of Pippin, the partner Bandai provided the casing and packaging. The goal was to develop a more compact and affordable version of the PC, which could play games and other CD-based multimedia products but was also internet-capable.
Although Bandai was also responsible for distribution and marketing, the console was named by Apple. In typical Apple fashion, the console was named after an apple variety, the Newton Pippin, which is, by the way, a relative of the Macintosh apple.
Pippin was launched in March 1996 in Japan and later in June in the USA. It cost 64,800 yen, which would be about €465 today.
These games were available: The list of released games for Pippin is actually not that short. It includes over 100 titles, some of which are proper ‘games’ in the classical sense, while others fall into the category of ‘edutainment.’
“Edutainment” is a term derived from the words “Education” and “Entertainment.” It refers to all offerings in the leisure sector that combine education with entertainment. In the case of edutainment software, it refers to educational software with entertainment value. More about this on Wikipedia.
Most of the games for Pippin were released in Japan, with only 20 releases in the USA. Many of the games were also based on Bandai’s franchises like Dragon Ball, Gundam, Power Rangers, and Ultraman, to which the company had already released numerous action figures back then.
This includes, for example:
Ultraman Quiz King
Anime Designer: Dragon Ball Z
Gundam 0079: The War for Earth
Power Rangers Zeo Versus The Machine Empire
Golden version of the console, which is preserved in the Computer History Museum (USA). Photo by Anton Chiang.
The downfall of Pippin
This is how it ended: The then CEO of Bandai, Makoto Yamashita, estimated that about 200,000 units of Pippin would be sold in Japan within a year. Upon launch in the USA, another 300,000 units were expected in the first year at a price of $599 (Inflation-adjusted, it would be about $1,131 today).
Bandai invested over $93 million (today $175,633,671) in marketing, but it didn’t help. The joint console from Apple and Bandai flopped hard and only sold 42,000 units worldwide.
Pippin failed to compete against the freshly released PlayStation, which had been dominating the console market since 1994. Additionally, on June 23, 1996, the Nintendo 64 was released, which also swept console gamers away.
Both giants not only fell victim to Pippin but also to various other consoles released during that period, such as Playdia from Bandai and Toshiba, or Casio Loopy from Casio.
The poor sales figures eventually led to Pippin being discontinued in December 1997, less than 2 years after its release, and it has since become almost forgotten.

Sometimes you can be proud of being a know-it-all. But do you have what it takes regarding World of Warcraft? Take our quiz.
If you are roaming in World of Warcraft, then you are likely reading quite a lot of chats. Whether it’s the “General” channel in the respective area or the Trade chat in the capitals. And where players talk, mistakes also happen.
Often there are questions and answers. Someone wants to know where a certain NPC is located or has a general question about the game. Instead of participating, you just observe the chat and wait for your moment – and there it is. Someone has given the correct answer in essence, but made a tiny mistake. Whether it’s a spelling error or a minimal detail. And this is your glorious hour.
You feel that tingling in your fingers. The irresistible urge to finally open the chat and participate after minutes of silence. Just to be safe, you quickly google again to make sure you don’t experience any embarrassment that you are about to inflict on someone.
Because you are a know-it-all and must correct such mistakes. While it may not truly help anyone in the end, you have that warm feeling of having enriched the world with a bit more of your superior knowledge.
Don’t know this urge? Congratulations, you are probably a better person (or elf, dwarf, etc.). But if you occasionally tend to unnecessary “know-it-allism,” this quiz will put you to the test and find out if you really have the exact correct answer to every question.
One last note: The questions in the quiz are based on the German version of World of Warcraft.
Do you have what it takes to be the ultimate know-it-all in World of Warcraft? Then find out with this quiz:
Dieses Quiz ist geschlossen.
So, how many questions could you answer correctly? Of course, you can write “15, it was super easy” in the comments. After all, you have a reputation to lose!

Pokémon GO is a special game that brings players together in its best moments and provides great experiences in the real world. However, the original magic of the game has faded – and only very rarely comes back, says MeinMMO author Max Handwerk.
All kinds of people had an opinion on the big trend that swept around the world in summer 2016. About the huge trainer groups that populated parks and launched real capturing campaigns from streetcars. About all the people running around in every direction because a Dragonite appeared at some corner.
For several weeks, Pokémon GO was more or less omnipresent.
To this day, I am a little sad that I missed that hype back then – because my outdated smartphone was indeed not capable of playing this game. I only started in February 2018.
However, even though I missed the “big” early days of PoGo, the game managed to capture me. Because it was just incredibly fun to step outside and be surprised. There was always something exciting to look for.
Every monster made me happy because it was either new or brought me closer to the next evolution. It took weeks before I encountered Snorlax for the first time and took forever to catch it. In my first raid, I suddenly stood with 15 people around a restaurant – only to not catch the legendary Rayquaza in the end. These things have stuck with me until today.
When you start with Pokémon GO, there’s so much to do and especially to discover. It’s worth going outside and looking around. But over time, that unfortunately decreases – and the game hardly manages to surprise you anymore.
No other feature is as good as new monsters
One thing up front: I am completely aware that we are now in 2022 and the game is six years old – and that I’ve also been part of it for four years. That’s a very long time compared to other games and probably already an art in itself to keep you engaged for so long.
At the same time, Pokémon GO as a live-service game, which always brings new content, is not a game that claims to be “completed”. Nevertheless, it now feels exactly like that to me: completed.
While I used to go out motivated every time to discover something new, Pokémon GO actually only ever brings more of the old. I don’t know how many Staravia I’ve already seen and caught. It’s definitely enough.
What has changed? No more monster generations are released all at once that you could search for in the “wild”. Instead, there are bit by bit one to two new monsters at events that you can catch after 20 minutes of wandering around. You can then catch and evolve them x times – and then it’s done.
There is no more “Explorer” mode in Pokémon GO, so to speak, but only targeted searching, catching, and improving. And that is somehow a shame.
Sure, there are rare exceptions like Miniras, or earlier Milza and Kaumalat. And I don’t want to deny that the game makes you happy when you find something like that. At the same time, those are so vanishingly rare that such moments hardly occur either. The same goes for shiny monsters.
Rarely do you find monsters like Miniras that you don’t already have too many of
Stepping outside and getting surprised – Pokémon GO basically only manages that very, very rarely anymore. Instead, you go outside, catch more of the same, and at the end wonder why.
Of course, Pokémon GO also has many other features that I can appreciate. Raids, PvP League, Team GO Rocket, leveling up – a lot has happened since the release and it’s all nice. But it is not the core of the game.
For me, Pokémon GO was primarily special because it is a collecting game that invites exploration. The problem with collecting games is just that they can become stale eventually when you have more or less everything. And that is how Pokémon GO feels to me now: Like a Panini sticker album that is 99% full. And at some point, I wouldn’t buy sticker packs anymore either.
As a change, Pokémon GO likes to bring monsters with hats. But that’s not really exciting either.
What is the solution? It’s difficult, I admit. How can you surprise players again who have basically found everything? One idea could be to simply throw an entire generation of new monsters into the game at once. Back in the 2nd generation, it was still done like that. Or at least 20 to 40 monsters again.
They could then be hidden in different places instead of being tied to time factors like events. So that it would be worthwhile to search again in the forest or by the lake instead of waiting for the next event and then collecting the special spawn. Right now it feels more like you find the same things everywhere.
But that doesn’t seem to be how Pokémon GO works anymore today. Instead, there are usually only a few new monsters at events or special Pokémon that you can then look for in raids. But the hunt for such monsters usually also ends quickly again.
At the same time, it’s clear that Niantic cannot simply release all possible monsters at once. Because: What else would they bring into the game afterwards, other than new versions of the old?
What do you think? Is the collecting factor in Pokémon GO also crucial for you – or is it not a problem for you at all? Are the other features in the game enough for you, do you think there’s still plenty to discover? Tell us in the comments!

Since WotLK, many fans want to play the Tuskarr in World of Warcraft. With Dragonflight, this seems possible – but with a big catch. Because they probably won’t be a real playable race for now.
What kind of race is this? The Tuskarr appeared in World of Warcraft in 2008 with the release of Wrath of the Lich King. This anthropomorphic race resembles walruses, is traditionally somewhat chubby, and lives on the icy coasts of the north.
Since their introduction, players have always wished they could choose them as a playable race. They would fit especially well as hunters, but also as druids with special saber-tooth forms.
With the allied races in Battle for Azeroth, the desire has been rekindled. There are even dedicated Wiki entries for the Tuskarr as a playable race, even though they have never been introduced.
With the new expansion Dragonflight, the Tuskarr will receive a visual overhaul with a new appearance and finally female versions, as well as children and their own mounts.
On reddit, the rumor mill has been boiling since April. And indeed, we learned from the latest Alpha that you can play as a Tuskarr – just not as a real playable race.
One of the new desserts in the game is walrus muffins. The description simply states: “Delicious… ?” If you eat a muffin, you will receive a buff that transforms you into a Tuskarr for 20 minutes. This was discovered by the colleagues at wowhead.
Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to test how this looks yet because the recipe requires buttermilk, which we currently cannot purchase. But this fits well with the crazy alchemy potions from Dragonflight.
What we could test, however, was the new Caller class for a whole 7 hours. This is tied to the new race of Dracthyr. We have included gameplay of the Caller for you here:
Start video
3 Minuten Gameplay zu Rufer, der neuen Klasse in WoW Dragonflight
While something similar could be done earlier with toys, the Tuskarr now play a larger role. They have new architecture, new models, and their own faction mounts – everything a playable race needs.
However, whether the Tuskarr will really come as a playable race is uncertain. Fans suspect they wouldn’t have received such a comprehensive overhaul just to stand around as NPCs. The same hope they also have for the Naga.
If the Tuskarr don’t say anything to you in the original: WotLK Classic is supposed to be released in 2022, according to leaks possibly on September 26. There you can take a closer look at the pals with the big tusks.
You can get a look at them for yourself with the release of Dragonflight. The release is expected to happen in 2022, with current estimates pointing to November. However, there is still no specific date.
MeinMMO editor Benedict Grothaus is definitely satisfied with the tests so far:
In the new MMO Path of Titans, you don’t fight dinosaurs, but instead become a prehistoric lizard. The beta for the MMO starts next week.
In games like ARK: Survival Evolved, you breed large dinosaurs, make them your mounts, and fight opponents with massive constructs. But the game “Path of Titans” turns this principle on its head.
Instead of breeding dinosaurs, you take on the role of one of these giants and must take care of food and other needs.
And you are not alone in this. 200 other players share the same interests as you, namely surviving in the prehistoric wilderness. You can team up or travel the world as a lone wolf.
You can get a first impression of Path of Titans with the following video:

ARK differently – Eat your enemies as a powerful dino in a survival MMO for PC and mobile
In the new MMO, you become a giant dinosaur yourself
What exactly do you play? The developers aim to make life as a dinosaur in their game feel particularly realistic. You take on the role of herbivores or carnivores, each with its own characteristics and abilities. Instead of taking care of dinosaurs like in Jurassic Park, you are one of them.
The manufacturers have already explained on their website which features you can find in the game:
Extensive multiplayer mode
Character customization
Quests and events
Attributes and skills
Swimming, diving, and fishing
Modding
Many users may find the active mod support from the developers exciting. The team at Alderon Games aims to provide tools freely, so you can build your very own dino adventure.
In addition, there is extensive support for various platforms. You can take care of your dinosaur on your PC, Xbox, PS4/PS5, or mobile device so it doesn’t starve or get eaten by its peers.
The game should also work on mobile devices.
When can you try the game? The team at Alderon Games has announced that the closed beta will start on July 27, 2022, on PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and mobile devices. Anyone who purchases the game from the official shop for around 30 euros will then have access to the beta and the game once it officially launches.

In Destiny 2 there are not only weapon exotics that every player uses, but also examples that some Guardians prefer to avoid. However, some weapons are unfairly treated this way. Therefore, today we have selected three cool builds featuring outsider exotic weapons that will surely leave your friends in awe.
Which exotics are we talking about? We looked at all weapon exotics and selected three candidates with which reasonable builds are currently possible. Our choice fell on the following guns:
Tommy’s Matchbook (Solar Auto Rifle)
Graviton Lance (Void Pulse Rifle)
Lumina (Kinetic Hand Cannon)
Whether a weapon is good or bad is in the eye of the beholder. Generally, these three weapons are currently not meta guns that every player carries in their inventory.
They are rarely considered, as, in the eyes of the community, there are better alternatives to dominate enemies. However, we are showing you three builds this time that will provide you with variety and especially show that you can be powerful even without meta exotics.
3 Builds with Surprisingly Much Variety
These three builds consist of two Warlock builds and one Titan build. Since Hunters are always considered meta, they are excluded this time. Instead, we are giving the outsiders of the Guardian factions the stage.
The Burning Mafioso Titan
All the abilities you need
What kind of build is this? In this build, the Titan, in combination with Solar 3.0, the exotic helmet “Lorelei Splendor Helmet,” and the exotic auto rifle “Tommy’s Matchbook,” turns into a walking hail of bullets of annihilation.
This combination allows you to avoid death while dealing a large amount of damage since the “Tommy Gun” grants you additional damage through its combustion effect.
However, to compensate for the damage taken and to benefit from the bonus damage, we have chosen the following build.
What do you need for the build? Here we list all the items you need for the build:
Exotics
Helmet: Lorelei Splendor Helmet
Weapon: Tommy’s Matchbook
Focus – Solar
Super: Hammer of Sol
Abilities
Shield-Barricade
Phoenix Dive
Throwing Hammer
Healing Grenade
Aspects
Sol Invictus
Roaring Flames
Fragments
Ember of Benevolence
Ember of Torches
Ember of Tempering
Ember of Empyrean
Armor Mods
Solar Helmet: Solar Siphon, Source of Power
Solar Arms: 2x Auto Rifle Loader, Life Source
Arc Chest: Seeker Sources
Void Legs: Just Better, Isolation, Resilience Source
Void Class Item: Vow of the Fling, Flame Harvest (Artifact Mod), Relentless Source Creator
How does the build work? Set up your barricade and kill an enemy. With the mod “Relentless Source Creator,” you gain a Void element source upon kill, granting you increased damage resistance.
Then, kill enemies with your Matchbook and collect the Solar element sources. While your abilities are active, and you enjoy increased recovery, hit another enemy with your charged throwing hammer.
This grants you the “Radiant” effect, allowing you to deal even more damage to your enemies. Particularly handy is that due to the synergies of your abilities and mods, you can fire the entire magazine of Tommy without worrying about the negative combustion effect.
Next up is the explosive Warlock and their Graviton Lance on the next page.

Since the latest update, Magic Find in Diablo Immortal has a new description. Some players are convinced that the value has generally changed and is now even better than before.
What is this value? Magic Find is a value that you can only reliably increase in Diablo Immortal relatively late. The controversial legendary gems grant more Magic Find starting at rank 5, otherwise the main source for the value is your Paragon.
In the Diablo games, Magic Find traditionally increases your chance of receiving a rare or legendary item and even set pieces.
Diablo Immortal, however, has taken a different approach so far. At least that’s what the players are sure of. With the Update 1.5.2 from June 20, it seems that the way the value works has changed.
What has changed about Magic Find? Since the patch, Magic Find has a different description. When you open your character sheet and select the value, the info text has changed:
Previously: “Increases the chance of receiving higher quality items from monsters.”
Now: “Increases the chance that monsters drop magic, rare, or legendary items.”
Due to the previous description and tests, such as by players who completed 1,000 Rifts, suspicion has been raised that Magic Find actually only increases the quality of found items. So: if a Legendary would drop anyway, it has better or more stats.
Now, however, it is clear that the drop chance for Legendaries is actually increased. Whether this also applies to set pieces from dungeons is unclear. Fans are still debating whether it is actually a change or just a more precise formulation (via reddit).
If you want to increase Magic Find, your best option is upgrading legendary gems. Since Update 1.5.2, this is also easier, if you use your Expiring Sparks correctly. In the video, we reveal where you can obtain legendary gems and how they work:

Update changes Magic Find, makes farming legendary gems easier
What’s in the update: Essentially, the update reduces the Pay2Win factor as now more legendary emblems can be obtained per week and per month without having to pay for them. New events and tasks were also added to the game.
In addition, 36 new Legendaries have been added, 6 for each class. If you want to try out your Magic Find or search for the new Legendaries, you can find on MeinMMO the best farming spots for Legendaries, monster essences, and more. The patch notes for the update can be found here:
The biggest change was the new class switching feature. With this, you can now easily try out a new class if you don’t like your current one.

Overall, the update is received quite well, even regardless of the discussion about whether Magic Find has been improved or not. The consensus is: it doesn’t really make much of a difference anyway, as the drop chance is so low that it hardly makes an impact.
We talked to a heavy player about his impressions of farming in Diablo Immortal, the strengths and weaknesses of the game, and the new update:
Rockstar changes a popular method of quickly earning a lot of money in GTA: Online. The nerf mainly affects many solo players who wanted to quickly improve their account alone.
In GTA: Online, money and earning money is an essential part of the game. Many vehicles or houses cost a lot of GTA dollars. And those of you who want to achieve something quickly need millions of GTA dollars for many things.
It is therefore not surprising that many gamers exploit every trick and option to boost their accounts. However, a popular heist has now been nerfed by Rockstar. Many gamers do not like this.
GTA: Online also introduced its major summer update 2022. You can read all the information about the new update and what to expect in our article:
And that made the heist so attractive: you could earn a lot of money in relatively little time.
What has now changed? Rockstar extends the time you must wait if you want to start a new heist (via rockstargames.com). Previously, you could start the heist again after about 15 minutes, but these times have now been adjusted:
Solo players now need to wait three in-game days before they can join the queue again.
Those playing in a group must wait one in-game day before they can rejoin.
You can therefore no longer conclude Cayo Perico and start again 15 minutes later to collect a few more million GTA dollars. Now, as a solo player, you must wait nearly 3 hours before you can start the heist again.

Players upset about the adjustments to Cayo Perico
This is how players react: In the GTA-Online subreddit, many players are upset about the changes to the heist. The Cayo Perico heist had been a good opportunity for many solo players to quickly earn money.
Especially as a solo player, you now have to expect long wait times, making Cayo Perico less attractive. Many users are upset about this. Many players simply do not want to deal with a group of random players, as that is just stressful and annoying. As one person writes on reddit.com:
The attempt to do the original heists with randoms, waiting almost 30 minutes just to get 3 other people, only for them to die repeatedly 5 minutes after the heist and give up.
Many explain that they would prefer to play alone than waste their time with “randos”. This change would affect exactly those players who simply do not want to deal with these random players.
If you want to know exactly how to amass a fortune in GTA Online through vehicle trading or heists, as well as 11 other methods, MeinMMO shows you 13 ways to quickly earn money in 2022.

In 2011, Ra.One was released as one of the worst games for the PS3. Today, you have to pay a lot of money if you want to have it. But why do you have to pay so much for such a bad game today?
Ra.One is a video game based on a science fiction film released in 2011. It tried to capitalize on the success of a film that remains one of the most successful (and expensive) Bollywood films in India. Among connoisseurs, the game is considered one of the worst PS3 games ever released. At least the copies of the game were not buried in the desert like the terrible ATARI E.T. game
Currently, you have to pay more than 300 euros for the bad game. This is mainly because you could never officially buy the game in Germany.
For an exclusive Indian game for the PS3, you now have to pay hundreds of euros
What is it all about? At the end of 2011, a major science fiction film, Ra.One, premiered in theaters. Alongside the film, there was also a large marketing budget: an extensive advertising campaign, plenty of merchandise, and a video game that was supposed to be released alongside the film.
Upon the release of the film, the corresponding PS3 game Ra.One was released on October 26, 2011. There, you shoot your way through dozens of enemies. You don’t need to know more about the gameplay, as it was truly terrible.
The online magazine Indianvideogamer explains in its review that the game is incredibly bad. There are numerous bugs that prevent you from completing the game, and the entire game world feels generic and interchangeable.
Also on reddit some explain how bad the game was. One user writes:
My 30-minute session was a rollercoaster of emotions. Laughing, crying, cursing myself and my life, relief… Everything
If you want to convince yourself of the “quality” of the game, check out the gameplay on YouTube. We have embedded the video from the YouTuber WindyCornerTV for you:

Why is the game so expensive? The game Ra.One was released exclusively in India. Sony also sold the game as a bundle with the PlayStation 3. In Europe, the USA, or Japan, you could never officially purchase this game.
However, if you still want to buy the game to complete your PS3 collection or just to find out how bad the game really is, the prices will shock you. You have to pay at least 350 euros for the game on ebay.
You can buy the game on eBay for about 360 euros. But you probably don’t really want to.
More bad games: MeinMMO editor Alexander Leitsch has played the worst-rated MMORPG on Steam for you. In his article, he explains whether the game is really that bad or if it deserves a better reputation:
Blizzard has extended the testing phase for the new Season 27 in Diablo 3. This means: you will have to wait a little longer for the launch. MeinMMO reveals when you can expect the release.
When is the release of Season 27? After not much is happening in the ranking of Season 26 anymore, many fans are now waiting for Season 27. However, Blizzard has announced that the PTR test will be extended. It will now end on August 8.
There is no concrete release date for Season 27 yet, but since the seasons always start on a Friday, possible dates are:
Friday, August 12
or Friday, August 19
The same dates are also suspected by Diablo expert jessirocks in his YouTube video.
Originally, the PTR was supposed to end on July 28, meaning the season was to start at the end of July or early August. However, due to the delay, Season 26 will now last 5 months, significantly longer than previous seasons.
By the way, the beta of Diablo 4 has also been found in the client, but it is currently only for internal testing. You can see the trailer for Diablo 4 here:

Release of Season 27 delayed – New talents are too strong
This is why the season was postponed: Even though no concrete reason was given, the new season theme is likely the cause. In Season 27, all classes can receive new bonuses, which in their current state are far too strong.
Many of the new talents cause enemies to be either instantly killed or take massive damage. This currently results in 4-player teams melting through the Greater Rifts. The leaderboards are full of teams at the highest level 150 with under 2 minutes.
Even the solo leaderboards are filled with successful runs at level 150 across nearly all classes, as jessirocks demonstrates in the video. The talents likely need to be adjusted or completely replaced before Season 27 can go live.
What’s in Season 27? The theme of the season will be a special dust with which you can “awaken” your items – a similar system to Diablo Immortal. From level 70, you can farm this dust.
If you awaken an item with this, its stats will be re-rolled and it will gain an additional talent from the list of new talents – which are currently too strong. The talents enhance one of your abilities each, and the builds usually revolve around the corresponding skill.
If you have already played Season 26 extensively and need alternatives until the next season arrives, we have a list of alternatives for you:
Even almost 2 months after release, Diablo Immortal still has many fans who log in regularly. We spoke with an avid player who has been gaming daily since day 1 and asked him about his motivations and methods in the game.

“I make good progress with 1-1.5 hours a day”
MeinMMO: Could you introduce yourself briefly? Who are you and what is your relation to Diablo Immortal and the Diablo series?
Michael: “I am Michael, an engineer in the automotive industry, 31 years old. As a child, I initially played Diablo 2 together with my father, later on my first own computer alone, until my parents turned off the electricity.
Subsequently, I waited many years for the successor and then sank very many hours into Diablo 3. Over time, that has decreased significantly. I lost fun when the drop rates kept increasing and eventually I came out of a portal with 10 legendary items.
I was actually very hyped about Diablo Immortal since the announcement and invested a lot of time in the first 2-3 weeks. From a current perspective, I still enjoy the game a lot and pursue all PvE activities. How long the fun will last remains to be seen over the next few weeks, as the much-discussed P2W factor naturally increases the gap between whales and F2P players.”
MeinMMO: How long and intensely have you been playing Diablo Immortal?
Michael: “I have been playing since release. In the first weeks about 3-4 hours a day. But afterwards, it became clear to me that the classic Diablo grind does not really work efficiently here. Whether through loot limits or outrageously low drop rates, you are definitely limited in the grind.
Additionally, there is the server paragon, which significantly slows down leveling. Currently, I make good progress with a time investment of about 1-1.5 hours a day without any issues. I complete all the dailies and automatically finish the weekly tasks as well. So I am always about 1-2 levels above the server paragon.”
MeinMMO: How much money have you invested in the game so far?
MeinMMO: What has impressed you the most about Diablo Immortal since release?
Michael: “As many already say: ‘Diablo Immortal is the better Diablo 3.’ The areas in the open world with the constantly popping events are great. The hidden dungeons, or hoards, are fun since they drop gems and have a high chance of legendary drops.
In general, all actions whether raids, rifts, or dungeons take less than 5 minutes, which I really like since I am now only playing Immortal on the side. One must always remember: We are talking about a mobile game, which is often forgotten as the quality far exceeds that of other mobile titles.”
MeinMMO: Which feature disappointed you the most and why?
Michael: “Actually, the already mentioned ‘progress brakes’. If I really feel like grinding for 5-6 hours on a weekend, usually after 2 hours the air is out because nothing seems to drop anymore, and the paragon bar hardly moves. It’s cool to have such short 5-minute activities, but you can’t do them too often in a row.
Of course, there is still progress, but it is not proportional to the time spent. And I am also not particularly fond of the legendary gems. But it is known what the problems are there.”
The legendary gems are the main criticism of Diablo Immortal. You can get legendary gems for free, but paying significantly speeds up the grind. How the feature works and where you can get the gems, we explain in the video:

“Season 2 was disappointing” – But it got better afterwards
MeinMMO: How did you find the patch for Season 2 of Immortal?
Michael: “The Season 2 patch was disappointing. I bought the battle pass and took all the bonuses and the transmog set with me. However, I think I won’t buy a battle pass in the future. Nothing really changed with Season 2. Disappointing.”
MeinMMO: What do you think of the new update with class change and co.?
Michael: “I really like the new patch. New quests were added that can be completed easily along with the daily tasks and that give additional rewards. I find it very good that you can obtain a legendary emblem once a week through the raids.
I think the class change is a great idea. However, I will not use it because I am very satisfied with my Necromancer. Moreover, I don’t want to farm all the set parts and legendaries again.”

MeinMMO: You have been a Shadow and an Immortal. Which gameplay is better and why?
Michael: “Both have their pros and cons. As an Immortal, you have more daily tasks to complete to get the maximum out of it, but defending the vault is really not fun. On the other hand, the Immortal transmog is super.
As a Shadow, you have the qualification matches in the Shadow War and the contracts. If you want to complete the maximum number of tasks every day, you can finish much faster as a Shadow.
I can’t say which is better or worse. But you always want to become an Immortal as a Shadow and remain so afterwards.”

MeinMMO: A tip for all players: What is the best farming method?
Michael: “Don’t let yourself be provoked by people who have never played Diablo Immortal and want to enlighten you about Pay2Win. Don’t let yourself be explained by people who watched Quinn and think they know the game.
Just play it and have fun – and if it’s not fun, turn it off. I find it impossible when I’m told the game is total trash because everything is P2W. Please, people, just play or be quiet!
My best farming method … Hmm. I don’t have any super secret trick. Just run the known route in the Realm of Damnation. In general, I believe farming in the open world is the best for both experience and drops. Except for the set parts that are only available in dungeons.”
MeinMMO: Thank you for the answers!
For many who do not play as much as a maniac, Hell 3 poses a huge hurdle. However, the community knows help:
The Twitch streamer Clare “Keffals” Sorrenti says she was banned on the platform Twitch for 28 days because she wanted to show how many insults she experiences as a transgender streamer on the platform.
This is Keffals on Twitch:
The streamer Keffals has been on the platform since 2020. About a year ago, she switched from gaming streams to political commentary in the “Just Chatting” section. She identifies as someone who follows “Politics and News”. She has repeatedly focused on LGBTQ+ community issues.
What happened when Twitch appointed a woman to the security council who behaved like a deer
Streamer wanted to show a list of nasty insults
What was she banned for? Keffals says she had compiled a list of “homophobic and transphobic insults” that she had collected over the years. She wanted to show and discuss this list in her stream.
But even before the stream started on Twitch, she became a victim of a “mass reporting” campaign and Twitch banned her from the platform for 28 days because even a thumbnail of the list with the insults violated the rules.
Keffals says:
I was banned again for 28 days because I wanted to show a list of hateful insults thrown at me by hypocrites. I have never been so disappointed.
In an interview with PCGamer, Keffals says she understands why these insults can lead to bans in some cases: It must be ensured that hate speech does not become normalized.
But her ban goes completely against the idea of helping members of marginalized groups to speak out against the abuse they face on Twitch. She also says that no one from Twitch has contacted her – her appeal against the ban was rejected.
In a tweet, she says:
Twitch bans one of its biggest transgender streamers from its platform for speaking openly about the mistreatment she endures. I don’t understand how Twitch manages to mess it up so badly.
What is behind the term “mass reporting?” Keffals addresses a phenomenon that has been reported on for some time. Allegedly, malicious people on the internet band together and deliberately harm individuals on Twitch by “mass reporting” their content until Twitch automatically suspends the person.
The logic behind this assumption is that large services like Twitch do not review such reports individually but react automatically through algorithms and distribute bans if enough people report a content as “offensive”.
According to a former Twitch employee, however, this “mass reporting” does not automatically lead to a ban. As a former Twitch employee revealed in 2019 (via gamerant), every ban on Twitch is issued manually by a person. Even 1,000 reports of something would not lead to an automatic ban.
However, this is controversial when looking at some bans. Twitch is repeatedly accused of lacking sensitivity in ban decisions. Banning a streamer for showing how she is insulted instead of going after the people who insult her seems to be one of these cases.
In the coming years, 5 MMORPGs are set to be interesting for fans of the genre. We introduce them to you in the new episode of the MeinMMO Podcast.
After several releases in the past years, things are a bit quieter on the MMORPG front in 2022. Games like Swords of Legends Online, Elyon, and New World have failed, but the next MMO games are already pushing in to take their place. This includes indie MMOs funded through Kickstarter, and MMORPGs from well-known developers like ArenaNet.
Ashes of Creation is a sandbox MMO by millionaire Steven Sharif. The idea for the game arose because he played the MMORPG ArcheAge but wanted something better. The MMO brings innovative ideas and focuses on user-generated content.
Crimson Desert is the successor to the Korean MMORPG Black Desert Online. In contrast to its predecessor, the focus of the game is on the story and the campaign. Players will be able to play Crimson Desert solo or in multiplayer mode ‘Another Story’.
Star Citizen is a space MMO set in a sci-fi universe that has been in development for many years. It has raised about 500 million dollars on Kickstarter. Players take on the role of a pilot exploring a vast universe. A variety of spaceships of different types can already be purchased.
Project TL, which has now been renamed to Throne and Liberty, has had a long and bumpy development process. Originally, it was supposed to be an action MMORPG in the style of Lineage for PC and mobile. However, the project was revamped into a classic action RPG like Blade & Soul or Black Desert.
After many rumors, Riot Games confirmed some time ago that the company is indeed working on its own MMORPG. The setting is in the universe of “League of Legends”, Runeterra. Accordingly, champions from LoL will also appear there. However, there isn’t much information yet about the gameplay and other contents.
In the current podcast episode, Alex, Schuhmann, and Benedict introduce these games and discuss their peculiarities as well as estimated release periods.

If you grow up with video games or are generally a big fan of them, you often engage with the companies that develop these games. Names like Blizzard, Square Enix, Bioware, or Capcom are known worldwide for their big titles and fantastic games.
But even the biggest companies started small. Many years ago, when gaming was still in its infancy, they hadn’t yet released the blockbuster titles like Warcraft, Final Fantasy, or Street Fighter, for which they became known.
However, they were already busy developing games that have now virtually been forgotten and are hardly known by anyone. Or are they?
How well do you know your favorite developers or the history of major game developers in general? Test it in our quiz.
How the quiz works: In the quiz tool below, you will find 10 major developers and publishers who have been releasing games for decades. For each, 4 game titles will be displayed.
You must correctly indicate which of the 4 games was the first to be released by the respective developer or publisher. All games in this quiz really exist and were indeed released by the respective companies, so we didn’t make anything up. But which were the first?
