How does the “Nuke” work in multiplayer? The use of a tactical atomic bomb has been possible in the multiplayer of Call of Duty for a while. It is a special killstreak that you earn by getting 30 kills in a row without dying.
Once you use the killstreak, a short timer begins. When it runs out, there is a short cutscene showing the weapon’s deployment – including an atomic mushroom. Subsequently, the round ends and your team emerges as the winner.
More hints about the bomb – Parts of the community believe they may have found hints about the “Nuke” during the “CoD Next” event in September.
They noticed a yellow rocket symbol on the map that could represent the Nuke contract. However, it was already outside the safe zone at that time. The streamers therefore had no opportunity to accept the contract.
Whether the rocket symbol is really the atomic bomb is still uncertain. However, by the launch of Warzone 2.0 on November 16, there will be more information.

Dead by Daylight bids farewell to an annoying mechanic. The “mystery boxes” are gone – and the community is celebrating it.
Since the end of the Halloween event, players of Dead by Daylight have noticed a particular change. The notorious “mystery boxes” from the blood webs have disappeared. Many fear that this might be a bug. But the developers have confirmed: This is by design.
What were those loot boxes? The blood web of Dead by Daylight is the primary form of progression. Here, players unlock various character advancements – perks, offerings, and items. These can then be used in individual matches to gain an advantage or influence certain circumstances, such as the selection of the played map or the amount of fog present on the respective map.
Some unlocks were known as “mystery boxes” – essentially nothing more than loot boxes. These boxes could contain any random reward that could also appear in the blood web.

Why did the boxes not make sense? For a pretty simple reason: The blood web is already completely based on randomness. Each individual blood web is generated randomly, and all unlockable items are subject to this randomness. A “mystery box” was simply “randomness within randomness” – hence double RNG.
If every component of a blood web is random, then it makes little sense for there to be boxes whose content is also determined by randomness.
Apparently, Behavior thought so too, explaining in the official forum:
[Mystery boxes] were removed – this is part of our blood web improvements, so it’s not a bug. (…) We are definitely considering the feedback on this, so please let us know!

Community reacts positively, happy about the change: The removal of the mystery boxes is being received positively by players. In the Dead by Daylight subreddit, the post about the adjustment has a approval rating of 99%. Some comments on this:
“Thank god. They were so useless and only annoying these days because you always had to click “Continue”. I just want perks and levels and soon not even perks, because I already have most of them. I don’t care if I get a random item because everything in the blood web is random anyway.”

Normally, MeinMMO author Max Handwerk is rather skeptical about mobile games. However, the superhero card game “Marvel Snap” does a lot right – and can keep one glued to their phone.
I don’t actually care much for mobile games. A round of Subway Surfers on the train or a walk with Pokémon GO – those are the exceptions that can really convince me in terms of gameplay on my phone.
In contrast, typical barriers get in my way with many other mobile games. My “favorites” are:
Repetitive gameplay
Poor graphics and clunky controls on the touchscreen
Progress barriers that want to extract money through microtransactions
Such factors have ruined a few mobile games for me, making them quickly fly off my phone.
When I first heard about “Marvel Snap”, I was accordingly skeptical. While I am a fan of superheroes and can also appreciate card games, I suspected it might be a typical “cash grab”. Big name, little effort.
I expected a perhaps nicely designed licensed game that would quickly feel stale if one doesn’t buy card packs to upgrade their deck.
But I was wrong. In fact, there aren’t even card packs that the game tries to push on you. Otherwise, I am not bothered by the monetization in the game so far. And the most important thing: The gameplay is simply fun.
Marvel Snap does a lot right – And stays on my phone
This is how Marvel Snap works: If you are not familiar with the game yet, here’s a brief summary:
You compete with a deck full of superhero cards. This consists of well-known and lesser-known Marvel characters. You find “stars” like Hulk, Iron Man, or Scarlet Witch, but also characters like White Tiger, Forge, or Kazar. That alone should be a good argument for Marvel fans.
Each card has its own “cost”, “strength”, and in most cases still a unique effect.
The goal is: You play the cards gradually on the game field, which consists of three “locations” that you want to conquer.
You can play four cards per location, just like your opponent. Each card has a certain “strength”, which is calculated at the location. Whoever has the highest strength at the end wins the location – and whoever has 2 locations wins the game.
An easy principle, but one that requires tactical action. Because it is also spiced up with a bit of chaos.
What makes Marvel Snap so good? To me, the game so far does everything right regarding the “3 barriers” I mentioned earlier.
About the gameplay: It is easy to understand, but offers plenty of variety.

The 3 locations bring unique effects that differ from game to game. Sometimes clones of cards are created, sometimes there is bonus strength, and sometimes everything gets destroyed – every game feels different.
The card effects themselves are fun. Scarlet Witch, for example, changes the effect of a location – if the opponent was just planning something there, it can be exploited.
The game is fast, a match lasts only a few minutes. You don’t take turns, but play simultaneously, and all cards are simply revealed afterward – this brings a lot of speed to the match.
This makes the game perfect for a quick break. But also for “oh, one match more”.
Graphics and controls:
The cards are beautifully designed, and there are cool effects on the game board. I have hardly any complaints about the graphics.
The controls also work flawlessly.
Monetization and progress:
That was the point that made me skeptical at the beginning. I liked the gameplay but was sure: At some point, it will end, and I won’t progress anymore or only slowly if I don’t invest money.
So far, that hasn’t happened yet.
You collect cards and improve them to get more cards
In Snap, you get new cards by “upgrading” old ones. For this, you need “boosters” and “credits”. However, the cards do not become stronger, they just become prettier. It is a purely cosmetic upgrade.
At the same time, you gain progress points in the “collection level” for the upgrade – a sort of ladder on which boosters, credits, and new cards lie.
These items can also be purchased to progress faster, but in the few weeks I have been playing, I have never felt the need to do so. So far, just playing is enough to regularly unlock upgrades and new cards.
When my opponents had strong cards, I sometimes looked at them enviously – but soon got them myself. There are no “packs” with random rare cards, as you would find in a card game.
Instead, you can buy “variants” of the cards in the shop if you want. These are pixel versions or other artworks. But again, it is only about cosmetic effects.
Additionally, there is a season pass that offers credits, boosters, and cards. You can also buy a premium version with more rewards. But even here applies: So far, I have had absolutely no reason or feeling that I need to buy it to keep up.

Were you a bit confused by the options in the last paragraphs? If so: Understandably, because the only criticism I can express about the system so far would be that it is incredibly confusing.
You constantly jump between season pass, “missions”, “rank rewards”, “collection level”, and your own deck for upgrades to pick up various rewards.
Why I receive which boosters for which cards after a match, I still haven’t understood to this day. That is all a bit irritating, but it hasn’t bothered me so far.
Overall, Marvel Snap manages to make me jump in for short sessions to play one or two matches – and then it turns into a few more.
The gameplay simply manages to suck me in and keeps me engaged by giving me new cards and deck-building possibilities – without making me feel ripped off or held back. It has achieved more with me than many mobile games before it.

Which monster is new? For the Community Day with Teddiursa, you can encounter its final evolution for the first time: Ursaluna. The monster from the 8th generation of games, of the types Ground and Normal, can evolve using 100 candies.
During the event and up to 5 hours afterward, it will receive the event Charged Attack Horsepower, which can deal 100 damage in Trainer battles and 110 damage in raids and gym battles.
What to consider when evolving: Anyone who wants to secure the new evolution should do so by Sunday, November 13, 2022, at 06:00 local time at the latest. Ursaluna can only evolve during a full moon. If you miss this opportunity, you will have to wait until the next full moon.

How to make the most out of Community Day with Teddiursa
How to prepare: As with every major event in Pokémon GO, you should also create space in your Pokémon storage for the Community Day with Teddiursa. If you still have a lot of Dratini in your bag from the past weekend or if you generally need to clean out your Pokémon, it’s best to do that before the event starts.
The easiest way to do this is with the filter function in Pokémon GO. By entering “0*,1*,2*”, for example, you will only see monsters that have a rating of 2 stars or lower. The input “Age0” is also suitable for sorting during the event since it only shows Pokémon that are not older than 24 hours.

However, having space in your Pokémon storage alone is not enough to utilize the event optimally. You will also need plenty of items, which take up space too. So sort your item bag and make room for the most important items. We have summarized what you need below.
These items are needed for the C-Day with Teddiursa
Balls: The most important item for the Community Day with Teddiursa is, of course, Balls, because without them you cannot catch. So it’s best to keep a supply of about 200 balls so that you don’t have to restock during the event. Ultra Balls are the best choice since they keep stubborn monsters in better.
Alternatively, you can also look out for golden PokéStops right now. These give you more items when spun, including plenty of balls.
Incense & Lures: There will also be an extended duration for Incense and Lures during the Community Day. Therefore, it’s advisable to have at least one item of each in your bag. Activate them during the event, and you will attract even more monsters for 3 hours.
If you want to place more than one PokéStop with Lures, you will naturally need more.
Items that will be useful for the C-Day
Sananabeeren: To secure as many Teddiursa candies as possible, you should use Sananabeeren when catching. These will double the candies. Since you already receive a candy bonus during the event, you will gain 12 candies for each Teddiursa caught with a Sananabeere.
These are important for evolving it into Ursaluna and to level up your Pokémon.
Star Pieces: In addition to the candy bonus, you will also enjoy triple Stardust when catching during the event. If you want to enhance your supply even more, you can additionally use Star Pieces, which will increase the Stardust by 50% for 30 minutes.
Other important items: Following the Community Day, there will again be special level 4 raids, in which you can only participate on-site. If you want to do this, keep your Raid Pass or Premium Battle Pass ready.
What you need to keep in mind: When sorting your item bag, remember that you can relearn frustration for the “Rocket Takeover” event starting Monday. You will need your Charged TMs for this. If you want to take advantage of this opportunity, it’s best not to sort this item out.
Why is a Mega Evolution needed? If you want to make the most out of the Community Day with Teddiursa, you should activate a corresponding Mega Evolution. If the type of the caught Pokémon corresponds to the type of your Mega Evolution, you will receive additional candies.
Which evolution do you need for Teddiursa? Since Teddiursa is a Normal type, you also need a Mega Evolution of this type. Therefore, the following Mega Pokémon are suitable:

Mega-Kangama
Mega-Schlapor
Why is Mega-Schlapor particularly worthwhile? If you want to participate in the raids against Ursaring after the C-Day, you should evolve it into Mega-Schlapor. This monster belongs to the types Normal and Fighting.
This way, you can farm additional candies when catching Teddiursa and its evolutions, while also using it as an optimal counter against Ursaring in battles. Ursaring is particularly weak against Fighting attacks.
Since Mega-Schlapor is a Fighting Pokémon, you can also use it in the raid and it will simultaneously boost all other Fighting attacks. Thus, you can defeat Ursaring faster.
Is there a Shiny Teddiursa? Yes. Teddiursa has been available in its Shiny form in Pokémon GO for some time. Since the Shiny rates during Community Days are usually slightly higher, your chances of encountering one are good. You can recognize it by its green body.

How strong is Teddiursa? The Normal Pokémon from the second generation does not impress with its stats. This is different for its first evolution, Ursaring, which has high attack and stamina values.
However, Ursaring cannot compete against the best attackers in Pokémon GO and therefore plays a minor role in raids. Also, in the GO Battle League, it is less interesting according to PvPoke.
With the Community Day, you will also get the opportunity to evolve Ursaring into Ursaluna for the first time. The Ground and Normal type monster has enormous values in attack, stamina, and defense, which would make it an optimal candidate in raids and the GO Battle League. However, Ursaluna struggles due to a poor moveset.
If Ursaluna gets better attacks in the future, it might rank among the best Ground attackers. For now, this remains to be seen.

AMD is considered a real price-performance tip with RX 6000 graphics cards
What does the current situation look like? By now, both AMD and Nvidia have presented their latest graphics cards. However, these cards are either so expensive that players are up in arms, or they are not yet officially available in stores. And the majority of our users are not willing to pay more than 800 euros for a graphics card in 2022.
Currently, you should focus on the available graphics cards, and there is a powerful selection with the RTX 3000 series and the RX 6000 series. AMD has also lowered the prices for the RX 6000 series to make room for the next generation.
Which graphics cards are particularly worth it right now? Especially in the mid-range and lower high-end sectors, you can save a lot of money with AMD graphics cards. If you are looking for a WQHD graphics card, you currently pay around 500 euros for the RX 6700 XT. For the comparable GeForce RTX 3070, you pay at least 100 euros more, depending on the model and availability.
In 4K, similar price differences apply: You currently pay around 750 euros for an RX 6900 XT, while you will pay at least 850 euros for the similar RTX 3080.
A similar picture arises if you want to pay attention to efficiency with the current energy prices: AMD’s 6900 XT is more efficient than the RTX 3090, while Nvidia’s GPUs perform slightly better in the mid-range. In the budget area (RX 6500 XT), AMD offers the more efficient cards. Nvidia slightly outperforms AMD in terms of performance per watt, but AMD wins in terms of performance per euro.
Nvidia offers features that AMD (still) lacks
Where does Nvidia still have the advantage? You should be aware that Nvidia continues to have the upper hand in certain areas when it comes to graphics cards:
The ray tracing performance of Nvidia graphics cards is better than that of AMD GPUs, even though the Radeon models are slowly but surely narrowing the gap.
Certain software suites, such as Blender, currently require an Nvidia graphics card (via blender.org).

Call of Duty had a linear system with the introduction of the Battle Pass. You leveled up and could earn items at each level. Now, with Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, the system will change and it strongly resembles Fortnite.
What will change? Anyone who has been playing since Modern Warfare (2019) and Warzone knows that the Battle Pass was unlocked linearly. Players could fight through 100 levels consecutively and had to invest time until they could get their desired item. There were no shortcuts, and levels could not be skipped without real money.
With Season 1 in MW2 and Warzone 2, players are now supposed to get more control over what is unlocked in the Battle Pass. If you particularly like an item, you don’t have to wait until you reach a certain level. You can decide for yourself when you unlock something, and we will show you how this works.
You can decide what you want to unlock
Where does the system come from? The system has existed in Fortnite since June 8, 2021, in Season 7 Chapter 2. Players can now unlock their desired items early in the form of Battle Pass stars. The same system is now to be implemented in MW2 and Warzone 2.
How does the new system work? The new system for the CoD Battle Pass is supposed to work almost identically to that of Fortnite. Here’s how it will be structured:
Your BP overview is no longer a linear line, but a map with different sectors
Each map will have 20 sectors
Each sector has a total of 5 items that can be unlocked
Basically a collection of many items that will be grouped.
Sectors can be unlocked by earning so-called “Battle Token Tier Skips”
These will likely be earned by leveling up.
Battle Token Tier Skips are then used to unlock neighboring sectors or to purchase items in already unlocked sectors.
This new system is supposed to give players a better chance to unlock the items they really want. More freedom and less pressure for the grind.
Is there a catch? The BP system in Fortnite is not as unrestricted as Epic Games has presented it. Players can unlock the things they want in Fortnite, but only to a certain degree. In Fortnite, the sectors, as they are called for MW2, are divided into pages.
If you want a skin on page 6 now, you can’t get it, even if you have the necessary Battle Pass stars. You must first have unlocked a certain number of items before you can unlock other pages and items. Basically, the system offers more freedom, yes, but to earn the level 100 skin in Fortnite, you also have to reach level 100 in the end.
Basically, this freedom is entangled in smaller restrictions, and we believe that CoD will adopt this as well to keep you engaged longer.

Diablo 4 (PlayStation, Xbox, PC) will, unlike all its predecessors, no longer use color coding for enemies. This feature has accompanied the Diablo franchise since the first installment in 1996. In an interview, the executives explain that this is intended to create more immersion.
What is this feature? Since Diablo 1 (1996), especially strong enemies have certain colors to differentiate them better. In Diablo 3, for example, Champions glow blue, Elite enemies yellow and have special names.
Especially in endgame content like portals from Diablo 3, this code was useful for players to determine which enemies drop better loot or grant more progress. In some playstyles, all other enemies were even practically completely ignored and killed only as collateral damage.
Why do enemies lose their color? As Fergusson explains in the conversation, enemies are meant to feel more “grounded,” making the gameplay feel “more realistic.” Glowing enemies do not fit in with that.
As the colleagues from GameStar have already observed, special enemies can still be distinguished by certain affixes. It will only be apparently more difficult to recognize elite enemies in Diablo 4.

“Less High Fantasy, more realistic”
Diablo 4 aims to be darker than its predecessors, especially compared to Diablo 3. The colorful comic style has upset many hardcore fans, and the latest Diablo installment apparently wants to return to its roots, to a dark Gothic setting. Fergusson says about this:
I think it feels different in the way that it is more grounded. Even regarding visual effects. They feel less like High Fantasy, more realistic.
Elements such as the required time to kill an enemy also play a role. If it is too high, enemies feel just like “meat bags with too many health points.” If it is too short, it feels like everything is made of paper.
The feeling of power is an important point in the game design, which Fergusson already explained in a previous interview:
However, some players doubt whether this will really be a hurdle. MyMMO reader Furby for instance predicts: “It’s probably harder to unlock a door drunk than to take down a ‘World Boss’ in Diablo 4.”
