If you steal this ring, he will accuse you of cheating. He will then teleport you to a jungle where there is a chest containing the legendary Nyrulna trident.

At Gamescom, Nvidia presented the updated version 3.5 of its DLSS technology. The new feature Ray Reconstruction provides increased performance in games that use ray tracing. Even 5-year-old graphics cards like the RTX 2000 series benefit from it.
The graphics card manufacturer Nvidia continuously expands the capabilities of its AI upscaling technology DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling). With the update to 3.0, only models from the current RTX 4000 series could exclusively benefit from the added features.
However, the new update to DLSS 3.5 also benefits seemingly older graphics cards.

Since when has the feature existed? Nvidia has developed ray tracing for its pixel accelerators to make light rays and reflections in games look more realistic. However, using the feature comes at the cost of performance and has been mainly reserved for the high-end segment of the manufacturer since its release in 2018.
With the introduction of DLSS a year later, it became possible to partially compensate for this loss depending on the optimization level of a game.
Ray Tracing and DLSS are now an even better team
How does the technology work? In DLSS 3.5, Nvidia changes the interplay of both functions. Previously, DLSS and ray tracing appeared in combination. The image of a game was rendered at a lower resolution than that of the monitor and then subsequently upscaled to the original resolution with AI support. This also affected the manually tuned ray tracing effects, which therefore lost image details.
“Ray Reconstruction” works AI-based and thus foregoes manually tuned enhancements. As a result, lighting and reflections look even more lifelike and contain more details. This overall leads to a more optimized image quality and additional performance increase.
Are there already games with DLSS 3.5? At the current time, there are no available titles that have implemented DLSS 3.5 to utilize “Ray Reconstruction”.
When can Ray Reconstruction be used? In autumn, the expansion “Phantom Liberty” for Cyberpunk 2077, Alan Wake II, and Portal RTX will be released. These will directly use DLSS 3.5 at their respective launch. According to Nvidia, more titles will follow. For older games, it depends on the developers whether they will take on the effort for the integration.

Which monsters are involved? Every year, a huge GO Fest takes place in Pokémon GO, lasting two days. During this, you will have access to plenty of spawns and bonuses. Some of the monsters are quite strong and can enrich your team for raids or the GO Battle League.
We will show you 10 strong monsters below that are worth catching for GO Fest 2023 and where to find them. We will also reveal whether you can obtain them with or without a ticket. The order of the list is based on their locations in the game.
When does the GO Fest run? The GO Fest runs on August 26 and 27, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day. You can participate from anywhere in the world, with or without a ticket.
1. Kaumalat

Why is this monster worth it? The Dragon and Ground Pokémon Kaumalat from Generation 4 is one of the monsters you should capture for GO Fest. It has a strong evolution in Knakrack, which has a high attack value.
This monster can shine as a strong Dragon Pokémon with a moveset of Dragon Tail and Outrage, as well as a Ground attacker with a moveset of Mud Shot and Earth Power in raids. Thus, it belongs to the best attackers in Pokémon GO.
In the GO Battle League, it also secures a solid 35th place with a move combination of Mud Shot, Outrage, and Earth Power in the Master League.
Where can you find it at GO Fest? During the GO Fest, Kaumalat will spawn in the wild and is thus available for all trainers, including those without a ticket. On Saturday, you can find it in the habitat Pyrit-Sands. On Sunday, it will be found in the wild without a specific habitat.
Is there Shiny Kaumalat? Yes, Kaumalat is already available as Shiny and can be found in its corresponding form. You can recognize it by its blue body.

Why is this monster worth it? Another strong monster is Meistagrif, the final evolution of Praktibalk. This Fighting Pokémon from Generation 5 impresses with high attack and stamina values. With a moveset of Counter and Dynamic Punch, it secures a spot among the best Fighting attackers in the game.
Where can you find it at GO Fest? Although Praktibalk is usually only found in raids, it will spawn in the wild for all trainers during GO Fest. Like Kaumalat, you can find this monster on Saturday in the habitat Pyrit-Sands and also spawns on Sunday without a specific habitat in the wild.
Is there Shiny Praktibalk? Yes, Praktibalk can be found as Shiny with some luck. In this form, it has a yellowish-brown body.

Why is this monster worth it? The Grass and Poison Pokémon Roselia can also be found during GO Fest. You should evolve it into Roserade, as it can particularly shine as a Poison attacker with a moveset of Sludge Bomb and Giga Drain in raids. It can also impress as a Grass attacker with Razor Leaf and Leaf Storm, thus being among the best attackers in Pokémon GO.
Where can you find it at GO Fest? Roselia can also be caught in the wild by all players during the event weekend. It spawns on Saturday in the habitat Malachite-Wilds. On Sunday, it can be found without a specific habitat.
Is there Shiny Roselia? Yes, if you’re lucky, you may encounter a shiny specimen. This one has a black and a purple blossom.

While it has to settle for the current 5th place as a top Psychic attacker with a moveset of Zen Headbutt and Psychic, as a Steel Pokémon with Bullet Punch and Meteor Mash, it leads the list of the best attackers of that type. In the Master League, Metagross also secures a solid 43rd place with Bullet Punch, Meteor Mash, and Earthquake.
Where can you find it at GO Fest? Tanhel will spawn on Saturday in the habitat Aquamarine Coast and on Sunday generally in the wild. It is available for all players on both days.
Is there Shiny Tanhel? Yes, Tanhel can be found as Shiny. You can recognize it by its silver body.
5. Kindwurm

Why is this monster worth it? With Kindwurm, a Dragon Pokémon from Generation 3, you secure another strong attacker. The small monster can evolve into Brutalanda, which with a moveset of Dragon Tail and Outrage is among the best Dragon attackers in Pokémon GO.
Where can you find it at GO Fest? Like Tanhel, Kindwurm will spawn on Saturday in the habitat Aquamarine Coast and on Sunday without a habitat in the wild. You can secure it without a ticket.
Is there Shiny Kindwurm? Yes, the shiny form of Kindwurm has a green body.
Why is this monster worth it? The Rock and Fairy Pokémon from Generation 6 is celebrating its global debut during the GO Fest. If you haven’t captured it before through one of the live events or research for ticket early bookers, you now finally have your chance.
Rocara impresses primarily with an enormous defense value. For this reason, it currently ranks first in the Super League with a moveset of Stone Edge, Weather Ball, and Moonblast. So, if you are looking for a strong monster for the GO Battle League, you should secure Rocara.
Where can you find it at GO Fest? On both event days, Rocara will be found in Level 2 raids. Thus, it is available for all players.
Is there Shiny Rocara? No, a shiny variant is currently not active in the game.
Why is this monster worth it? During GO Fest, the Proto form of the legendary Water Pokémon Kyogre returns to the game. Similar to Mega evolutions, the Proto form is a temporary evolution that is significantly stronger than Kyogre itself.
Kyogre in its normal form with a moveset of Waterfall and Hydro Pump is already the best Water attacker in the game. As a Proto Pokémon, it can surpass that. In the Master League, it ranks 32nd with Waterfall, Surf, and Hydro Pump.
Where can you find it at GO Fest? Proto-Kyogre will return to Proto-raids on Wednesday, August 23, and will dominate these until Sunday at 11:00 AM local time. After that, it will disappear indefinitely again. However, it is available to all players during this time.
Is there Shiny Kyogre? Yes, with some luck, you may encounter a purple specimen after the raid.
Why is this monster worth it? Alongside Proto-Kyogre, its counterpart Proto-Groudon will also return to the game. This legendary Ground Pokémon can score as one of the best Ground attackers in Pokémon GO with a moveset of Mud Shot and Precipice Blades. In its Proto form, it is even stronger and thus finally becomes the best attacker of its type.
Even in the GO Battle League, the normal form of this legendary monster can impress. It secures 2nd place in the Master League with a move combination of Mud Shot, Precipice Blades, and Flamethrower.
Where can you find it at GO Fest? Like Proto-Kyogre, Proto-Groudon will also be found in Proto-raids from August 23. At 11:00 AM on Sunday, it will disappear again. When it returns is still unknown. Until then, all players can secure it.
Is there Shiny Groudon? Yes, Groudon can also be caught as Shiny. In this form, it is neon green.
Why is this monster worth it? Another global debut during GO Fest is the Mega evolution of the legendary Dragon and Flying Pokémon Rayquaza. In its normal form, it already has a high attack value and a strong moveset of Dragon Tail and Outrage, making it the best Dragon attacker in the game.
Its Mega evolution is even stronger and allows you to learn a new move: Hurricane. This could be useful in the Master League, as the normal form of Rayquaza ranks 14th there with a moveset of Dragon Tail, Hurricane, and Hurricane. Make sure Rayquaza is an essential part of your team.

Is there Shiny Diancie? No, the shiny version is not yet obtainable in the game.

This is how the new feature is supposed to work: The focal point for this immersive gameplay experience is an object called “The Bleached Heart”. Bungie itself describes it as “strange” and it is located inside the Traveler.
Who or what is the Traveler in Destiny?
The Traveler is a gigantic, mysterious sphere that hovers above Earth. It has brought much good to humanity and created ghosts that resurrect people from death and turn them into Guardians.
Since 2014, the Traveler has also been a great mystery in Destiny and plays a central role in the game. It does not speak, it is a “silent god” and it has an enemy: the Darkness. For what feels like an eternity, it has been in conflict with the Witness, as this one wants to exploit it for its own purposes to change the universe and create “The Final Shape”. A nightmarish paralysis of reality according to the abnormal vision of the Witness.
So the Guardians must enter this massive object, the Traveler, to stop the Witness and the end of everything in the universe in an epic finale.
When the Witness, the adversary of the Traveler, first entered this world in the Lightfall DLC 2023, it influenced the appearance of the world. But if the Guardians manage to find a way to finally follow the Witness into the Traveler without being torn apart, the Bleached Heart will respond to them as well.
When our Guardian enters, the rest also begins to shape through “The Bleached Heart” according to what we have experienced. It is difficult to define exactly what the Bleached Heart is, but it is a world created by the consciousness of the Traveler, a world shaped by both the presence of the Witness and the Guardians. It is a realm of infinite possibilities that becomes reality through the experiences and desires of those who are within it.

This sounds like the gameplay of the campaign of “The Final Shape” will not be very linear, although Bungie describes it as linear, and it apparently will change ominously as well. Everything will initially be a “nice development”. However, the Guardians are also expected to realize that things will become “more and more wrong”.
After the campaign concludes, the destination will then open up, and new secrets and activities will become available. Players can then thoroughly explore them and trigger a reaction that will change the world around them.
This could be one of the most exciting ways to conclude the first saga of Light and Darkness in 2024, so that this experience will not be forgotten by players anytime soon.

With a gameplay trailer, gamescom finally provided us with news about the major story expansion for Cyberpunk 2077. The trailer has already received 470,000 views on YouTube.
The developers show you in three minutes what changes with Phantom Liberty. Some of this is fundamentally not new information, but it shows many new details.
Among other things, you can expect a new district in the expansion, new vehicles – from which you can shoot, a new relic skill tree, and an overhauled police system.

Black Myth: Wukong draws on rich Chinese folklore and tells the famous story of the Monkey King. Together with a special story and Unreal Engine 5, the game looks very promising.
It is set to be released in 2024 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Gamescom ONL 2023 Trailer Starfield
Starfield opened the gamescom Opening Night Live with an atmospheric live-action trailer. It gathered over 340,000 views on YouTube overnight.
The trailer gives you a small impression of the feeling of the single-player RPG Starfield, which promises players a galactic journey through endless freedom and 1,000 explorable planets.
On September 6, 2023, Starfield will have its release and will be available for PC, Steam, and Xbox Series X/S.
The early access to the game starts on September 1, 2023.

These are the multiplayer features of Elden Ring: As known from previous FromSoftware games like Dark Souls, Bloodborne, or Sekiro, Elden Ring will also be a brutally hard game. Enemies will present challenges, and especially the boss fights can become tough.
If you are stuck alone, Elden Ring offers a coop mode where you can tackle the hurdles of the game either with friends or with random players.
Moreover, there is also a PvP mode. You can either invade the worlds of other players or be attacked by enemies in your own game world. Duels are also possible.

Coop in Elden Ring – roam together through the open world
This is how the coop mode works: Players are “summoned” into your game world. This is done through certain symbols that others can place on the ground in their world.
These symbols then become visible in your game world. This way, you can explore dungeons and the open game world together in Elden Ring. However, you will need several items that you find early in the game:
The “small golden statue”: This allows you to place a golden symbol in the game world. It then appears to random players at the same spot, and they can summon you.
The “Curved Finger of the Tarnished” enables targeted cooperation with others. You can also place a symbol with this, but to be summoned, your coop partner needs another item.
You can set a password with the Curved Finger to play specifically with friends.
With the “Curved Finger Remedy” item and the corresponding password, you can make your friends’ symbols visible and summon them. However, this item is consumed in the process.

How many players can play together? You can summon a maximum of two players for help, meaning you can be a maximum of three. In Dark Souls 3, for example, there could be up to three coop partners. If you want to tackle a dungeon with other players, you must first enter the instance and summon your friends there.
If you are with your coop partners in the open world, you cannot simply enter the next dungeon.
You can freely explore the open world with other players. The coop mode only differentiates between dungeon and open game world.
Once you defeat a boss, the coop partners are sent back to their own worlds.
Is progress shared? No, progress is limited to the host. Guests in a game world cannot take items with them, and defeated bosses remain alive in the world of the coop player unless that player has defeated them themselves.
At least you earn the same amount of EXP for defeating enemies as the host. Coop players do not lose this when they die. Your horse is also not available in coop. You are on foot.
This is how PvP works: As known from Dark Souls, you can invade the random worlds of other players, i.e., initiate an invasion. The goal is clear: you have to eliminate the host.
Conversely, it is possible that you become the target of an invasion. Keep in mind that your potential victim may have help from coop players. You could encounter a trio.
If you want to play PvP specifically, duels are an option. For both types of PvP, you will also need certain items.
This is how you can start duels:
With the “small red statue,” you can place a red symbol. This allows players to summon you specifically and challenge you to a duel.
The “Curved Finger of the Duelist” allows you to specifically summon duel opponents using a password, similar to the coop mode.
Your opponent will also need Curved Finger Remedy to specifically summon you.

This is how you can start invasions:
For invasions, you need the “bloody finger.” This allows you to invade the game worlds of random opponents.
With the “scout tongue,” you can provoke invasions by allowing yourself to be invaded by other players.
With the “blue ring,” you can automatically be summoned into the worlds of other players who are currently being attacked.
With the “white ring,” you can automatically call players for help who have equipped the blue ring if you are attacked by so-called invaders.
The “finger severer” allows you to kick summoned players out of your own world.
As in coop, your horse is not available in PvP. You should keep this in mind. However, you shouldn’t have to search too long for your enemies. According to the developers, there will be interface elements to prevent you from having to play hours of hide-and-seek in the open world.

Is there also local coop? No. However, if you generally play offline or your internet access is having issues, there is a sort of replacement. You can call NPCs for help. This is only possible near small summoning statues, so it is not without restrictions.
The statue marks the beginning of an area where you can summon NPCs.
If you interact with the statue, a symbol will appear at the edge of the screen. This indicates that NPCs can be summoned.
There are different NPCs. Often they are enemies that you can defeat in the game world.
These then drop their ashes. With this item, you can summon the corresponding NPC types as support.
The spirits disappear again if they are defeated, if you die, or if you move too far away from the summoning area.
With the ashes, for example, you can summon a wolf pack as a ghost team. These NPCs are useful support in combat and can already help you as a distraction. Even if you are overrun by hordes, they can save your life.
These helpers can be collected and even leveled up, making them stronger alongside you. However, the classic NPCs are not eliminated by the new system.
As in Dark Souls, you can summon certain NPCs at special locations. Often they are characters you meet in the game world.
You can call various enemy types for help if you have the corresponding ashes.
Elden Ring has a new group feature
What is this feature? You can now even create your own groups with your friends. Thanks to these groups, you can set it so that your friends’ content is preferably displayed in the game.
This includes the bloodstains known from previous games, which show how a player died at a specific location.
The well-known text fragments that can be placed on the ground are also back. These can represent helpful tips, mark secret spots, or simply mislead other players.
Groups have no limit on the number of members, so you can basically create your own clan for Elden Ring.
What you should also note in multiplayer: Just because you are playing coop doesn’t make everything a walk in the park. If you are in the world of another player as a PvP or coop player, your potions are halved. This applies to both healing and mana potions.
You will usually have an easier time, as enemies can rarely target more than one player at a time. But you should still watch out for yourselves.
