xQc thinks the others have stopped trying
What was xQc annoyed about? While xQc was trying to break the Minecraft record of his arch-rival Forsen, he revealed how unfair he felt about the deals of his Twitch colleagues. While he did receive his own “sweet deal,” he was “eternally mad” about it.
“I was angry for years because all my colleagues at the time were getting huge sums – […] they all had damn contracts with all guarantees and they didn’t have to do anything.” xQc specifically mentions Imane “Pokimane” Anys, the “Queen of Twitch.”
These colleagues had little or no performance to deliver, just “sat around and did nothing.” For that, they received “fat payouts,” xQc said.
The shooter streamer Nick “Nickmercs” Kolcheff had such a deal that xQc was apparently envious of: with fixed payouts, regardless of performance. However, he was not happy with it either. He says Twitch kept all the money from his subscriptions:
There is news from The Day Before, a zombie MMO that reminds many of The Division. The game is back on Steam, has resolved its naming issue, and sets its release as an early access title for December 7. The launch trailer looks much better than many feared. A version of The Day Before for PS5 and Xbox Series X is apparently planned.

The Day Before says (via twitter), they have won their naming dispute and will indeed be called “The Day Before”. The game is also back on Steam.
The planned release has been postponed from November 11 to December 7, 2023, and will also initially start as an early access title. The release had already been postponed; it was originally planned for March 2023. There is currently no mention of an announced beta.
The game is expected to cost $39 in early access, and the price is set to rise to $49 when the final release occurs. The official launch of The Day Before is set to happen once the game runs optimally, and they are sure they can offer the best possible version. Versions for “next-gen” consoles, presumably PS5 and Xbox Series X, are also expected to be released.

This can be seen in the release trailer: IGN uploaded 3 minutes of new gameplay. The style is strongly oriented towards games like The Division or Escape from Tarkov:
You are supposed to earn the currency “Woodbury Coins” through quests and be able to accept various missions.
Housing is also planned, in your own ranch, and you can see the “spa elements” that have caused trouble in advance, but also cars that you are supposed to be able to buy in The Day Before.
The developers also promise weapons with unique shooting and recoil behavior.
What is the general mood? The trailer looks good, but the mood towards the game is skeptical to hostile. In general, people seem to distrust it because too many “red flags” have been discovered in recent months, which have deterred many players.
The postponement of the release was not a big surprise anymore; hardly anyone expected “The Day Before” to actually be released on November 11 after a long silence. Some also suspect that the release was postponed to avoid the launch of Call of Duty on November 10.
The price of $39 in early access is, however, criticized by some as “too high”.
It is clear that many players are looking forward to a game like “The Division with zombies” and it will be interesting to see how The Day Before ultimately performs.

The US journalist Paul Tassi has been covering the online shooter Destiny 2 and Bungie for Forbes for years. Now he gives an insight into the current mood in the studio and what they think about the idea of developing a Destiny 3.
Where does the report come from? The insider report comes from Paul Tassi at Forbes. He says: The layoffs at Bungie were conducted so brutally and heartlessly that many employees are now willing to speak to the press. The atmosphere is extremely bad.

Bosses do not heed the developers’ requests
This is the mood in the studio: According to Tassi, many employees are dissatisfied with the management, who only now realize what the developers had been telling them for a long time: Destiny 2 has many problems that need to be urgently addressed.
Evidently, the 2023 expansion Lightfall was a negative turning point for Destiny 2: While the initial sales figures were strong, players were very dissatisfied with the expansion. The negative atmosphere persisted throughout 2023, and player engagement fell sharply.
Employees were repeatedly told that player satisfaction was at an all-time low – exactly what the employees had already explained to the bosses for a long time and requested to be allowed to make some changes that would bring players back. Many of the suggestions were rejected.
The situation is exacerbated by the strong gaming year 2023 with very strong games like Baldur’s Gate 3, which also consume a lot of gaming time.

According to Tassi, many fans would cancel their pre-orders for Final Shape – and the expansion is already considered by many as “The End of Destiny,” no matter what Bungie claims or still plans.
What is the situation with Destiny 3? Tassi writes that many in the industry believe that Bungie should now make a switch and start working on Destiny 3 instead of endlessly tinkering with Destiny 2.
However, there are absolutely no signs from Bungie that they are considering this.

The Finals puts you in a virtual arena where you fight for victory in 3v3v3 matches in a game show. In the different modes, your goal is to collect more money than your opponents.
To maintain the upper hand in battle, you can use various weapons, abilities, and gadgets and customize your loadout accordingly.
The success of the Open Beta has even influenced the expectations of shooter fans: The Finals has jumped to number 1 on the list of the most desired games on Steam, now ahead of titles like Hades 2, ARK 2, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, and Nightingale.
If you see a building, you can probably destroy it too
What makes The Finals so good? Gameplay-wise, The Finals stands out primarily for 2 aspects: extreme destruction and vertical gameplay.
You can destroy almost everything in The Finals and tear down entire buildings. You have various explosive gadgets, a sledgehammer, or gas canisters at your disposal. In general, the destruction of the maps is meant to be a tactical element.
However, you can also choose to completely avoid destruction and sneak up on your opponents with a katana or a dagger and take them down from behind. How you play is entirely up to you.
The second major feature of The Finals is the vertical gameplay. You can reach almost any building with a zip line, jump from roof to roof, and bounce meters into the air with jump pads. Since there is no fall damage, you can really go overboard with this.

What does The Finals not do so well? It is an open beta, and you can still tell at the moment. There are occasional bugs, some balancing could still be adjusted in certain areas, and the servers likely ran at their limits during the surge of players.
On the weekends, there were repeatedly phases where inviting friends or accepting an invitation did not go as the players wanted. Additionally, the servers occasionally crashed, and players were kicked from ongoing matches.
Sometimes, you were the only team not kicked from the match. However, this was not automatically counted as a victory; instead, you either had to leave as well or continue playing without opponents.
If Embark Studios can fix the beta’s problems before release, shooter fans can finally expect a game with The Finals that is just fun to play.
Season 3 of 7 vs. Wild started on October 31 at 00:00
Another major difference from previous seasons is the broadcasting platform of the series. While in previous years, the premiere of a new episode was always on YouTube, this time the first broadcast will take place on Amazon’s streaming service “Freevee.”
On Freevee, you can still watch the episodes for free, but each episode has fixed advertising breaks. On YouTube, the first episode will be broadcast about a month later, on November 29.
Praise for the episode despite criticism of video quality
What do the fans say? On social media, some fans of the survival series report that there were technical issues shortly after the start of the broadcast. The image quality was reportedly very poor.

In Bethesda’s space RPG, outposts are an integral part of the gameplay. You can build your own outpost and use it as a retreat on a beautiful planet or farm resources there.
However, even though players were able to build an entire city as an outpost, there was one thing missing until now: a space station as an outpost. That is about to change.
How can you build an outpost as a space station? The disappointing news for some players right off the bat: this is currently only possible using a mod, even though the necessary data is already contained in the game.
According to the description, with this mod, it is possible to transform your latest ship into a space station via a build menu of your outpost, which you can modify and where you can dock your spaceship.
The mod is called “Spacestations for Outposts” and is available on the Nexusmods site. As the mod developer states, the entire code of the mod is already in the game, but some things are a bit broken and not everything works. Additionally, some things may still be a bit buggy.
Moreover, all items in the mod are free because the developer did not want to assign a price to the hundreds of items and Bethesda hasn’t done so yet.
