Last night, episode 15 of the survival show “7 vs. Wild” aired. In the community, fans are discussing how the few remaining participants are spending the last hours before being picked up.
Who is currently still in 7 vs. Wild? Episode 15 deals with days 12 and 13 of the current season 3, the show is nearing its end. The experienced teams have been eliminated, the favorites Fritz Meinecke and Survival Mattin even dropped out on day 3.
In the wilderness of Canada, there are still:
- Sascha Huber and Knossi – the two streamers are in great spirits, found an ideal spot, caught almost 40 fish, and are spending their time “escaping the everyday life and thinking deeply.” They are primarily focused on fishing. The two seem like they could stay in the wilderness for weeks.
- The ladies’ team, Affe auf Bike and Hannah Assil, are suffering from persistent hunger but are growing closer on a human level. The two very different women praise each other to the skies and rave about the friendship that has developed over time.
- The two gaming streamers Papaplatte and Reeze are struggling, longing for something other than mud and the occasional Elotrans drink to taste. They just want to get through the last days before being picked up somehow. They torment each other with detailed descriptions of what they will eat once the show is over. Without energy, the two can barely move away from the shelter. But it’s the two of them who entertain the fans best.

After the big wash follows a self-experiment for science
This is how fans discuss the episode: The most discussed actions of the episode came from Papaplatte and Reeze. The two gaming streamers were seen by many viewers beforehand as the types who would leave the show first. Trymacs and Rumathra also desperately wanted to be better than Papaplatte and Reeze
, but the two friends and podcasters toughened it out despite the difficult spot:
- The two are planning “the great hike” to the beach to wait for the last day without a shelter on the boat.
- First, however, there was the “big wash” for Reeze: 140-kilo man Renzmann washed himself in the intimate area, which was attentively filmed and commented on by Papaplatte.
- However, the highlight of the episode was an “experiment for science.” The two stood back to back and walked 100 steps into the forest. They wanted to find out if one could still masturbate after 13 days in the wilderness – they then shared the results with the fans in the shelter.
I am so proud of Reeze and Papaplatte

What was going on with the other teams? The other two teams particularly showed how much they appreciate each other in their segments:
- Knossi enthusiastically stroked Sacha Huber’s beard.
- Hannah Assil said to the camera how much she appreciates Affe auf Bike and how her lively nature perfectly complements her. She emphasized how great it is that Affe also finds joy and excitement in small things.
Fans commented on the shown scenes with much sympathy:
Hannah and Affe have really become mother and child by now. […] It’s just adorable.
- “Hannah’s monologue was just beautiful. You two are a real dream team.”
- “This good mood on day 11 from Knossi and Sascha is just so incredible, with these two it really feels like days 1-2. What a magnificent performance.”
What’s behind it: Just before the show, Papaplatte and Renzmann were viewed very critically, they were seen as typical city kids
and thought to be soft and not able to last long in the wilderness.
However, already in the first episodes, it was praised how lovingly, friendly, and appreciatively the two interact with each other. This way of treating each other seems to really pay off.
While the discussion about 7 vs. Wild in recent weeks has been rather negative and centered a lot around issues in the organization, the current episode was probably just a feel-good episode for many, where there was a lot of laughter.
