How is the developer intervening now? A new patch has come today that brings significantly improved anti-cheat measures to The Finals. This is intended to make cheating more difficult and reduce the number of matches players experience against cheaters.
Whether cheaters will be banned faster with today’s patch is still unknown.
Just in time for the end of the year, there is first information on the roadmap for one of the largest MMORPGs on Steam Lost Ark. In spring, you can look forward to new content, but a new class will also go live.
On December 18, 2023, Lost Ark announced initial information for the big 2024 update. In a post on the game’s website, they explain what new content awaits you from January to April. This is only the first part of several announcements for the new year.

January – The fight against Brelshaza gets the Inferno difficulty level
You start the new year with a new challenging fight: Brelshaza Inferno. Your character must have at least an item level of 1560 and a complete setup in the coordination book.
The new difficulty level for the fight will drop all rewards from the Legion difficulty, but there will also be victory titles, achievements, fortress structures, and more.
February – Valtan is back & happy anniversary
In February, Lost Ark celebrates its second anniversary. There will be a series of in-game celebrations with corresponding rewards. You will participate in the Arkesia Festival: Every week there is a new coop quest where you earn tokens. You can exchange these for rewards.
There should also be a second piece of content coming, which is still in development. You should be able to experience the events of Lost Ark’s previous story again.
Once the celebrations are over, you can also jump into the new fight Valtan Extreme starting in February. For the normal difficulty, you need item level 1580, and for hard, 1620. You will receive rewards here if you have completed two gates. Each group can attempt the fight only twice a week, and your progress will be saved after the first gate.
March – The new class, new quests, and a new fight
In spring, Lost Ark starts with the new Breaker Class. The class was recently announced at LOOA ON and should be available for Western players in March as well. This is a male version of the Scrappers, who gets up close with his opponents using heavy armored gloves.
With “Light of Destiny,” there will also be new story quests for you: Sacria investigates the events in Pleccia. She needs your help – and you are called to confront the chaos. The story will conclude the first story chapter of the MMORPG and reveal the location of the namesake lost ark.
In March, there is also a new story fight: Thaemine Prelude. If you have at least an item level of 1520, you can follow the story, which will later lead to the Thaemine Legion Raid. The …
April – Two new raids and fresh gear
… will start in April 2024. To participate in the Thaemine Legion Raid, you need to have completed the Thaemine Prelude quests that were released the previous month. You will tackle the fights in 8-man groups. For normal, you need at least item level 1630, and for hard, 1630. The latter even has four instead of just three gates.

The second raid awaiting you is the Vescal Guardian Raid. Vescal is a Chaos Guardian who hunts his opponents with sound waves. He returns from another dimension and must be stopped before he causes too much havoc. You can clear the fight once daily for rewards.
Finally, starting in April 2024, there will be the new Transcendence Gear Progression System. Here you can level up and improve your current gear. This increases your character’s damage and defense and unlocks special abilities. The materials needed for this equipment can be found in the Thaemine Legion Raid.
