In games with an open world, you can roam the entire map starting from level 1 – just like in Palworld. However, this comes with the risk of entering an area with enemies that are too strong too early. We will show you at which level you can venture into which areas.
What kind of map is this? On Reddit, user PalGardener shared the map of Palworld, which he divided into different level zones. This was later supplemented by another player.
The level division specifically does not concern bosses or dungeons, but rather the Pals in the open game world.

Level zones as a helpful guide
The regions in Palworld are not strictly ordered by level – for example, easy in the south, hard in the north. Therefore, it can be difficult, especially at the beginning, to find the right areas for the current level.

1. Early game (Level 1-15)
At the beginning of the game, it is safest to stay in the starting regions. There are four of them, which are already revealed on the map at the start.
Tip: You can indirectly choose your spawn point right at the beginning. Press Escape, then select Respawn and choose one of the available options. They are all in an easy area! But only do this while you still have no items in your inventory, as you would otherwise lose them with normal settings.
2. Mid game (Level 10-30)
In the mid game, you can explore the center of the map well. Additionally, you can now take a detour to the southern nature reserve.
3. The volcano (Level 30-40)
From level 30 onwards, you should be well equipped for the volcano in the southwest of the map. But remember to have adequate heat protection!
4. Late game (Level 35-50)
Lastly, you should venture into the regions in the north. The two upper nature reserves are also at a higher level.
Are there any other interesting places?
The curious explorer might still find places that are not covered by the areas. We will clarify two of them:
The small islands
If you take a close look at the map, you may discover the four small dots in the eastern part of the map, respectively south of the desert. These are large rocks protruding from the open sea.
A trip there is not necessarily required, as there is nothing special to find there.
The big tree
Perhaps you have seen a giant tree on the horizon. It definitely makes you want to get on a swim or flight pal and take a closer look.
But is it worth it? Clear answer: no.
Before you reach your destination, you will encounter an invisible wall. At least at the current time, you cannot reach the tree.
