The next patch for Overwatch is now on the PTR and brings a lot of buffs and nerfs with it. We reveal everything about the patch notes.
In recent weeks, some winners and losers have emerged regarding the balance in Overwatch. Sigma is currently indispensable in almost any team, and Symmetra is also very popular. Because these characters are currently so strong, Blizzard is changing the balance of many heroes and making several adjustments.
Recently, there were two “secret” buffs in Overwatch.
Who benefits from the patch? A major winner of the update is definitely D.Va, who can now use her Defense Matrix more often, but Roadhog also received powerful buffs, as he can now use more ammo before needing to reload.
Lucio gets a larger portion of his speed boost back, although his wall ride is weakened, which balances out.
Who will be nerfed? Among the losers is clearly the new hero Sigma, as almost all of his abilities are being weakened. But Orisa has to take another nerf to her protective barrier.
Doomfist now takes longer for his attacks and receives less shield energy when hitting enemies.
