You have freshly inherited the title and are now exploring your domain while facing numerous dangers. According to HowLongToBeat, the base game, including the main story and side quests, lasts around 107 hours. With DLCs, you can easily add 20-25 more hours.
The game itself is a classic cRPG with an isometric perspective and turn-based combat, where the core of the game revolves around the story and character development. The classes consist of “archetypes” that you level up, and there are various endings. Additionally, you can form relationships with some companions.
Why is Rogue Trader said to be better? Users mention various reasons, all of which correspond to subjective perceptions and the preferences of the individual.
The story of Rogue Trader and how it is told are mentioned by many people as significant strengths of the game. Here, the Warhammer 40k role-playing game excels. Additionally, the combat system of Rogue Trader is said to outperform that of Baldur’s Gate 3. Some prefer the overall gameplay of the cRPG from Owlcat Games.
