The Twitch streamer Noway has reached the highest rank in League of Legends in the new season. He talked about his life and what it would look like if he had not become a content creator.
What would Noway have done instead of streaming? In a new YouTube video, the Twitch streamer talks about his journey before he really started on Twitch.
According to him, he had actually messed up his life with gaming, but later had great luck being able to work as a content creator. After finishing high school, he started his first degree. However, he was unhappy with this path and ultimately studied a different profession that could have allowed him to join the family business.
The second degree took a long time and he became what is known as a long-term student. Noway talks about 12 semesters, of which six semesters were the standard study period.
Noway himself says that he only gamed during his studies and followed the strategy of bulimic learning. This strategy refers to short-term studying for an exam and then “spitting out” the information afterward, as it is no longer needed after the exam (brain-effect.com).
Afterward, the streamer says the following: “I could do nothing. I would be completely useless in the job market.”

What happened to Noway? In the video, he also talks about how much luck he has as a Twitch streamer. After one of the biggest German LoL creators, Saitain, stopped, the LoL community needed someone new, and Noway was there at that time.
Riot also supported him and invited him to various LoL events even to America. His fans were, of course, also involved in his career. He explicitly mentions a viewer who supposedly donated 1,500 euros to him in one go. With that, he was able to pay his rent and continue streaming.
At that time, he earned, according to his statement, money through “typical student jobs” like stacking the counters of a bar or helping freshmen with math.
Now, Noway has built a steep career. The Twitch streamer even shared the big stage of an event with the LoL legend Faker. However, anyone who earns a lot of money from this activity must often pay substantial taxes.
