For almost a month now, you can explore the world of New World. Many have now left the starting areas and taken a look at the higher regions. A good time to talk about which area you like the best so far.
These areas are offered by New World: The 4 regions Everfall, Windsward, Monarch’s Bluffs, and Brightwood are the first ones you can explore in the game. In one of them, you start your adventure and begin exploring Aeternum. In these 4 regions, you will mainly find green meadows, dense forests, and a few mountains and rivers.
In the midgame, you can expect 6 very different areas: Cutlass Keys, Brightwood, Weaver’s Fen, the Unstable Coast, Sound’s Reach, and the Depths.
Especially Weaver’s Fen stands out with its unusual town and the abundant water, which is mostly only knee-deep. The Depths, on the other hand, is dark and rocky and gives a glimpse of the upcoming endgame areas Shattered Mountain and Edenhain.
The Unstable Coast, however, is mountainous and offers wide areas with water in which you can easily drown. In Cutlass Keys, you feel right at home as a pirate-like marauder.
In the endgame, there are 4 very diverse areas. In Edenhain, you’ll encounter many creatures that are made of trees and earth. Everfall, on the other hand, has a more Asian style in its buildings and also features some colorful cherry blossom trees.
The two hardest areas are Shattered Mountain, a very mountainous landscape, and Brackwater, a green and rather marshy area.
