Mabinogi switches to Unreal Engine 5, shows first teasers
Mabinogi has made an impressive leap into the future. It has been known for a while that Mabinogi is switching to Unreal Engine 5. The game director of Mabinogi announced that the plans to elevate Mabinogi to a higher graphical level have existed since March 2023 and that this is necessary. The developers refer to it as the Eternity Project

What else is Nexon planning? Nexon states that Eternity Project
is a long-term project. Through the project, the game environment is to be made more immersive. For example, battles on flying ships, sailing on a self-built boat, and underwater adventures are to come.
The producers of Mabinogi have not only announced switching to Unreal Engine 5, but also promise a comprehensive improvement of the technical aspects of the game. This includes a redesign of the server structure and an increase in stability.
