Which weekend is it about? The weekend of June 10 and 11 is already on the horizon and will be quite eventful. The developers of Pokémon GO have planned quite a lot for the upcoming days.
In addition to a strong Community Day featuring Milza, Crypto-Articuno will also be waiting for you in the Crypto Raids. To conclude, you can look forward to a Raid Day with the Lake Trio, which will be held as a replacement event. When each highlight will take place in the game and what you should know about it, we have summarized for you below.
All Highlights on June 10 and 11 in Pokémon GO
In addition to the Water Festival, which is already active in Pokémon GO, there are additional features coming to the game in the next two days. What they are and when they will take place, we have summarized for you in the following overview:

Crypto Raids with Crypto-Articuno
What kind of event is this? Starting June 10, Crypto Raids level 5 will return to Pokémon GO and will occur every weekend thereafter. After in May catching Crypto-Mewtwo in this Raid format, you now have the opportunity to encounter the legendary Crypto-Pokémon Articuno. With a bit of luck, you may even encounter it for the first time in its shiny form.
Keep in mind, however, that Crypto Raids are only possible on-site. Therefore, your Remote Raid Passes cannot be used. It’s best to coordinate with your local community friends in advance to arrange your battles.
When does the event take place? The Crypto Raids level 5 with Crypto-Articuno starts on June 10 at 10:00 AM local time. The legendary Pokémon will then be available every weekend. So, you can still challenge it on Sunday, June 11, until 8:00 PM before it disappears again for the next few days.
Is the Raid worth it? Articuno is a legendary Ice and Flying-type Pokémon from the first generation of games. It has solid attack stats and strong defense and stamina stats. In its Crypto form, it is even slightly stronger in attack.
With a moveset of Ice Breath and Ice Beam, it ranks on the list of the best attackers in Pokémon GO. For this reason, you should secure the Crypto Raid Boss for your team. Moreover, shiny hunters will also benefit from Crypto-Articuno.
Community Day June with Milza
What kind of event is this? On Saturday, the Community Day June will take place. During this event format, a specific Pokémon is highlighted and will be found everywhere. Your shiny chances are also good on that day. So, you can expect plenty of encounters with the Dragon-type Pokémon Milza.
Besides the numerous spawns and the high shiny rate, the event will come with additional bonuses. This time, these will mainly be Candy bonuses and an XP bonus that you shouldn’t miss.
When does the C-Day take place? The Community Day with Milza will happen on Saturday, June 10, between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM local time.
Is the event worth it? Yes, Milza has a really strong evolution. Maxax is among the best Dragon-type attackers in Pokémon GO and can also hold its own in the GO Battle League. It should definitely not be missing from your collection. Be sure to also secure the special event attack available when you evolve Milza during the C-Day.
With the numerous Candy bonuses, you can enhance your stock and level up strong specimens directly. Moreover, shiny hunters will also be fully satisfied. For trainers on the way to level 50, it’s also a good chance to farm significant XP.

Level 4 Raids with Sharfax
What kind of event is this? Following the Community Day with Milza, special level 4 raids will take place in Pokémon GO. In these, you can encounter the Dragon-type Pokémon Sharfax, the first evolution of Milza. Just like the Crypto Raids, you can only participate in these battles on-site as well.
If you win the raid, you will not only have an encounter with the Dragon-type Pokémon but will also unlock Milza spawns near this gym for 30 minutes. Its shiny rate will be as high as it was during the actual Community Day. However, Sharfax cannot be caught as shiny.
When do the raids take place? The level 4 raids with Sharfax will run on Saturday, June 10, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Are the raids worth it? The raids against Sharfax are especially worthwhile for trainers who couldn’t fully utilize the Community Day with Milza or simply can’t get enough of the little dragon.
With the additional spawns, you also have the chance to encounter a shiny Milza or secure a strong specimen for raids or PvP battles. Additionally, this way, you can also collect some extra candies.
Replacement Event: Raid Day with Vesprit, Selfe, and Tobutz
What kind of event is this? On Sunday, a sort of scaled-down Raid Day with the Lake Trio Vesprit, Selfe, and Tobutz will finally take place. This is a replacement event held due to a poor shiny rate.
A technical issue caused trainers who defeated the Lake Trio via Remote Raid to have a lower shiny chance. This was particularly frustrating as recently the prices for Remote Raid Passes were raised and a limitation of 5 Remote Raids per day was implemented.
To make up for this, the trainers were refunded the invested passes and a replacement event was set up. As a result, the legendary Pokémon will spawn in their respective regions in level 5 raids during the event period.
In Germany, you will thus meet Vesprit more often. To get the other two monsters, you need to be invited abroad. Keep an eye out for raids in America for Tobutz. Selfe can be found in Asia. The limit for Remote Raids will be raised on Saturday from 12:00 PM to Sunday, 11:59 PM local time to 15 per day.
When do the raids take place? On June 11 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM local time, the legendary Pokémon of the Lake Trio will spawn more frequently in their respective regions in level 5 raids. If you want to be invited abroad, you need to pay attention to the respective time zones.
Are the raids worth it? Vesprit, Selfe, and Tobutz are not particularly strong and do not have strong evolutions. Therefore, they are mainly interesting for shiny hunters.
