Veiled Experts (PC) is an upcoming tactical shooter on Steam, where campers have a particularly hard time. The final beta test will start this month.
What kind of game is this? Veiled Experts is a tactical shooter developed by Nexon Games, where two teams of 5 players each compete against each other, and it will be released as a free-to-play title on Steam.
In Veiled Experts, a variation of the “Search and Destroy” mode known to shooter fans is played, where one team must plant a bomb and the other team must defuse it.
Similar to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Valorant, you can also access a shop between rounds and purchase new equipment. You must also remain still when shooting to give bullets a better chance of hitting.
The major difference from CS:GO and Valorant is that Veiled Experts is played from a third-person perspective.
How are campers punished in the game? Even on the game’s Steam page, Veiled Experts emphasizes a gameplay aspect that the developers simply describe as “No Camping.” The shooter incorporates various mechanics designed to prevent long sitting and waiting. The focus is on action and movement.
For instance, there is a magnetic field that moves during the match, shrinking the map and forcing you to change your positions. If you are in the magnetic field, you take damage.
Additionally, there are various gadgets and agent abilities that allow you to scan the environment and reveal enemy positions or alter them using explosives and destroy cover options.
MeinMMO editor Maik Schneider has already tested Veiled Experts.
