In Destiny 2, a new activity with Act: 2 of Episode: Heresy has launched – the Court of Swords. In this, you can secure bonus loot, and we will show you how to get it here.
What is the Court of Swords? With Act 2, the new activity “Court of Swords” was implemented in Destiny 2. Many veterans probably know the activity by the name “Oryx’s Court”.
In this new variant of the old mode, Guardians must defeat enemies and bosses quickly, solve mechanics, and be agile to gather a lot of loot in a boss rush mode. There is even a way to snag bonus loot – we will show you how.
How to get bonus loot
How do I get bonus loot? To receive bonus loot, you can interact with a small black obelisk at the Court after each round and submit your Metastatic Essence, which you can earn through the activity “The Netherworld”. The additional loot includes weapons, upgrade modules, and seal fragments.
You can also interact with the Tablet of Ruins in Eris’s apartment to socket runes there. These will either give you more loot at the end or also the chance to choose between weapons if you don’t like the loot.
How does the Court work? You spawn as a trio on the Tombship and must defeat waves of enemies. However, these are tied to different mechanics that hinder you from completing quickly. These include hidden witches or knights that you must defeat to open passages. You have a total of 10 minutes to complete as many rounds as quickly as possible.
If you survive the timer, you will be teleported to the final arena, where your last big boss awaits you. Defeat this boss and then receive your final reward based on the rounds completed and bosses defeated.
To achieve the maximum platinum cap of rewards, you must have defeated up to 12 bosses in total. With the additional mentioned opportunities, you then also get the bonus loot.
What do you think of the new activity in Destiny 2? Have you already reached the platinum cap? Besides a new activity, Bungie accidentally activated a coming event that is not even finished yet.
