Apex Legends is a mix between a hero shooter like Overwatch and a battle royale game like Fortnite or Black Ops 4: Blackout. The game focuses on the familiar battles until the last survivor with an ever-shrinking play area. However, unlike PUBG, Blackout, or Fortnite, there are different heroes in Apex Legends with unique abilities. Up to 60 players can compete in 2 or 3-player teams. The game uses the same setting as the shooter Titanfall, also developed by Respawn. Apex Legends is available for free as a Free2Play game on PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
