HandOfBlood is one of the largest streamers on German Twitch. This is not least due to the fact that he constantly comes up with new, crazy events for his streams – one of which will be really big next year.
What kind of event is this? HandOfBlood is moving his long-standing format “Techno Friday,” where he is accompanied by a live DJ while gaming, from Twitch to the big stage. On May 21, 2027, the Techno Friday – Arena Edition will take place at the arena Berlin. Tickets start at €59.90 on eventim.
HandOfBlood announced the whole thing during his Techno Friday on June 19, 2026. However, if you want to celebrate with the streamer at TwitchCon, which starts on May 22, 2027, in Berlin, you should hurry: Even during the stream, a third of the tickets went away (via Instagram).
According to a press release, 5,000 tickets were already sold within the first 48 hours – and this was despite the lineup not being known yet.
From a Crazy Idea to an Arena-Filling Event
What is the Techno Friday about? Techno Friday actually started as a Twitch format: HandOfBlood invited a DJ to his stream and had him play live while he gamed. In 2025, it became a 24-hour rave, which even brought international attention to the streamer.
In 2026, the next “Club Edition” followed, before HandOfBlood surpasses himself again next year. The practical thing: the main sponsor is his own beverage brand, Knabe Drinks. This dynamic shows why the streamer works so well on Twitch: HandOfBlood is extremely good at turning individual, creative ideas into recurring formats and finally into large-scale projects.
He keeps investing more in his content and his brands. One success then finances the next cool thing. As he says in a press release:
“I am just happy that we, with our community and our team, have now reached a status where we can uncompromisingly carry out such massive events based on our own creative convictions, without conservative industry decision-makers telling us why it all can’t be done.”
Meanwhile, HandOfBlood is active in game publishing with his company, has his own metal label, and practically a sport of his own:

For HandOfBlood, however, the success also meant a shift. With the founding of his own company, he was no longer responsible only for himself but also for an increasing number of employees: HandOfBlood reports on what it was like when an influencer suddenly had to pay salaries: ‘Since then, a lot has been a compromise’
