What kind of reveal is this today? Today the embargo on the content shown at gamescom for Guild Wars 3 is lifted. It’s time to finally discuss together with you what enchanted us!
That’s why we are starting on September 3, 2026, from 16:00 – 16:45 MEZ with GameStar a livestream on Twitch.
There, MeinMMO editor-in-chief Leya Jankowski, MeinMMO MMORPG expert Karsten Scholz, and MeinMMO editor Jasmin Beverungen will delve into all the shown details and impressions in a deep dive and also discuss what makes it particularly good and what it could mean for the future of the MMORPG genre. The spectacle will be moderated by Magdalena Ihsen.
Earlier, Leya was able to give a glimpse in the FYNG stream at gamescom of how thrilled she and Jasmin were about the appointment with ArenaNet.

What has Leya been allowed to share so far? In our panel on the gamescom highlights of our editorial teams as part of our FYNG streams, MeinMMO editor-in-chief Leya spoke about her impressions of the great MMORPG hope – at least as much as she has been allowed to share so far.
What I can say is that what I have seen of Guild Wars 3 not only gives me hope for the western MMO, but I am truly convinced that they have managed to revolutionize the MMO. However, I am not yet allowed to say why.
Additionally, she was allowed to share an exclusive artwork that raised several questions – but also theories in our editorial office and in the community. What it actually is about, we will probably find out tomorrow in the stream as well.
In any case, she was very excited, and Jasmin’s eyes also shone after their appointment. Both can hardly wait to talk tomorrow with Karsten as an additional expert and you as viewers about the great MMORPG hope.
