• Guild Wars 3 is currently in active development and does not yet have a release date, but there is a timeframe for when the first beta is set to start: Fall 2027
• For the first time, the series will forego its PC exclusivity, as the MMORPG will also be released for the PS5. All Xbox fans will likely be left out and will not be considered.
• The developers are staying true to the monetization of the predecessors. The MMORPG will likely avoid battle passes and subscriptions, monetizing instead through sales and the in-game shop.
• The combat system and movement are set to be smoother and more modern.
• The story begins 1,200 years before Guild Wars 1, ushering in a new era and highlighting parts of the story that could not be addressed in the two sequels.

When does Guild Wars 3 release? This cannot be said exactly yet. Currently, development is still in full swing and a release is not expected before the end of 2027 or sometime in 2028.

Will there be a beta? Yes, there will be a beta.

When is the beta planned? The beta for Guild Wars 3 is to take place in Fall 2027, although a specific date has yet to be determined. Both platforms are expected to benefit from it.
