Crossplay between PS4/PS5 and PC
Is that possible? No, there is no Crossplay between PC and PlayStation (PS4 and PS5). You cannot play together.
Crossplay between PS4/PS5 and Xbox
Is that possible? No, you cannot play together on PS4 or PS5 with Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S. Crossplay between the different consoles is not active.
The console generations can play together. So Crossplay between PS4 and PS5 is possible. Similarly, Crossplay between Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S is possible.
But there are exceptions here as well. Those playing the Enhanced version cannot play with players of the old version. You can bypass this by playing the PS4 version of GTA Online on PS5. Then you can also play with PS4 players.
Crossplay between Xbox and PC
Is that possible? No, Xbox players cannot play GTA Online with PC players in Crossplay. Again, the combination of console and PC is not available.
Crossplay between Steam, Epic Games, and Social Club (Rockstar Launcher)
Is that possible? Yes, there is the possibility here. On PC, all players can play with each other.
All players from the Epic Games Store, the Rockstar Launcher, and Steam can play together in Crossplay. You will be connected on PC through the Social Club. Here you can add each other as friends and join each other’s game sessions.
Will there be Crossplay between PlayStation/Xbox and PC or Xbox and PlayStation?
This is the status: So far, there are no official statements that GTA Online wants to expand its Crossplay. Although the developers are always full of surprises, it is rather unlikely (but not impossible) that a game from 2013 will overhaul everything again. The upcoming release of GTA 6 also makes a Crossplay update rather unlikely.
