How does the new PvP mode work? In the card game, the goal is to defeat your opponent’s character cards.
For your game deck, you need different cards that have different functions. In addition to the character cards, which show you well-known characters from the game, there are also cards that can deal damage.
Besides, there are also action cards: These include equipment, event, and support cards that provide various advantages such as enhancements or permanent effects.
The cards are played with elemental dice. At the beginning of each round, you roll with 8 eight-sided dice and thus earn points for the 7 elements of the game. You can then use these points to play cards.
Unlocking and monetization are still unknown
What is still unknown? It is not yet known when the card game can be unlocked in the game. It is also still unclear how long a match will last and whether there are hidden monetization mechanics behind the card game. For example, you need to unlock new characters in the game via Original Resin. However, the developers will surely release more information soon.
