Currently, there is trouble with skins in Fortnite. The skin “Zoey,” which had been in the game for months, suddenly became invisible and was deactivated. Two other skins that data miners discovered have since disappeared from the code of Fortnite.
This is what’s going on with Zoey: The Zoey skin features a green-haired clownish lady. A type of lollipop is also part of her set. The skin was available at Tier 47 in the Battle Pass of Season 4. So it has been in the game for quite a while.
However, the skin was recently temporarily deactivated by Epic. The reason is a glitch that players found.
This was the glitch: If someone in the Zoey outfit stood too far away, the person simply became invisible from the neck down.
Epic is working on fixing the problem. Then players will get their Zoey back.
This is not the first glitch in Fortnite that removes skins from the game. Recently, a burger joint was removed from Fortnite, because it was just a floating skull.
What is happening with the other two skins?
It’s about the two skins:
- K-Pop, which was first seen in September 2018
- Onesie, a jumpsuit, which data miners discovered at the start of Season 6. We reported on it on October 16th.
- K-Pop
- Onesie
Both skins have never really been in the Fortnite shop, but were only discovered by data miners.
Are the 2 skins gone forever? When skins are found in data mining, they usually appear in the Fortnite shop within a few days. However, these two skins have not appeared yet and have now disappeared from the data. It’s as if they were never there.
This does not necessarily mean that they will never come to Fortnite, but apparently Epic has other plans than a soon release. Perhaps a mistake was also found with these skins and Epic discovered it in time, before the skins went live.
In any case, it seems that a lot is buggy in Fortnite right now, and there was even a “mega bug” that players could benefit from:
