What does the new general order consist of? The Major Order named “Enduring Peace” has been sent to the brave troops of the Over-Earth a few hours ago (via X). You are to transform an entire planet into a Black Hole! The order states:
“The time has come. We must eradicate the Meridia super-colony through the experimental use of weaponized Dark Fluid. The destruction of an entire planet is a tragedy – but the tyrannical Terminids leave us no choice. Good luck, Helldivers.”

Where does the power to annihilate entire planets come from? Since the Second Galactic War was declared in Helldivers 2, events at the front have been unfolding rapidly. With the liberation of Varylia 5, not only has a new mech been unlocked, but players can now also deploy a new super weapon on the planet Meridia.
This very weapon is now part of the next general order. The unleashing of Dark Fluid on Meridia seems to confirm leaks that circulated earlier this year, hinting at the destruction of an entire planet.
