What were they dissatisfied with? As in many other role-playing games, you can customize your main character. You can choose the character’s gender, which also determines the gender of the twin named J that your main character has.
Since they are twins, the developers seemingly decided to use the same voice actor for both characters – one woman and one man for the respective gender.
In a beta, fans could spend some time in the current state of the game and provide feedback to the developers. It seems that there were so many negative comments about one of the voice actors that the developer Owlcat Games is now reacting.

What is the reaction to this? In a new message on Steam, the development team explained what highlights there are in the beta and what the future plans are. The overall feedback has been great. There has been much praise for the visuals, the music, and other points.
However, the voice of the male main character and J was included in the criticism. The voice actor did a lot of good work, but it felt less expressive than the development team wanted. Therefore, before the release, the voice of the male protagonist and J will be changed.
As Gamesradar reports, there has even been a job posting from the development studio. Accordingly, the team is already looking for a new voice for the two characters.
What do players say about it? Under the statement, over 27 comments have gathered. Here, a user states that he hopes that the male main character and J will get a better Belter accent. The Belter accent is a fictional language, and the corresponding dialect comes from the series and the books.
