Even before the new season of 7 vs. Wild, the creators are bringing 30 fans into a new format and visiting familiar places.
What is this new show about? The sixth season of 7 vs. Wild is set to launch in the fall. This time, there will also be a wildcard participant from the community. In the past, nature specialist Joris (YouTube) and wildlife photographer Hannah Assil (Instagram), chosen by the community, participated in 7 vs. Wild.
This year, the wildcard participant will not be simply selected, but will earn their place through a new show. Under the name 7 vs. Wild Wildcard Competition
, 30 candidates selected by the community will compete in a kind of 30 vs. Wild to secure the only wildcard spot of the season.

What must the candidates do? The candidates must compete against each other in various challenges. First, they will go to the original spots in Sweden, where in the first season Fritz Meinecke and others survived alone outdoors for a week for the first time.
The seven candidates who perform best in the tasks there will then fly to Panama, to the island where 7 vs. Wild season 2 was filmed. There, they will meet Knossi again, who will encourage them to give their all for the final challenges.
How can you watch it? The creators of 7 vs. Wild will release 7 episodes of the new show on Amazon Prime. Every week, 2 episodes will be released, with the first 3 episodes available directly on May 29, 2026. The last episode will be available on June 12, 2026.
Instead of waiting another two weeks for a YouTube release, this time there will be an experiment
. Already 24 hours after the episode is released, there will be a 15-minute best-of of the last episode on YouTube for everyone to react to immediately.
