The Worlds 25 of League of Legends are over and the most successful team of all time has once again been crowned world champion. Faker, the so-called Gamer Of All Time, was not, however, the most important player in the tournament.
Who faced off in the finals of Worlds 25? The top team T1 had an epic final against the also Korean team KT Rolster on November 9, 2025. In a best-of-5, both teams pushed their limits and delivered five games for the fans.
After KT was just one win away from claiming the trophy, T1 fought back and ultimately won the last games to secure their sixth world championship title in LoL.

Who was the most important player? Although Faker is referred to by many players as the “GOAT” or “undefeated demon king” and has now won his third Worlds title in a row with some of his teammates, it was someone else who received the MVP (Most Valuable Player) award.
The ADC of T1, Gumayusi, was awarded the title after he delivered a remarkable performance. Especially with the champion Miss Fortune and her ultimate ability, a powerful cone-shaped barrage of shots, he was able to deal devastating damage to KT at the right moments and win crucial teamfights in the final game of the finals.
Gumayusi received the trophy from legendary ADC Uzi, who has been inducted into the Hall of Legends of LoL after Faker and received his own skin worth over 400 euros.
