Star director Zack Snyder has completed his work with the superhero universe DC. However, as he revealed in an interview, he would return for a certain superhero – but only under a specific condition.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, star director Zack Snyder talked about his upcoming sci-fi project Rebel Moon and reflected on his time with DC.
The 57-year-old stated that he has finished with the well-known superhero universe, but also admitted that he would return for a special project.

Zack Snyder would make an exception for Batman
Zack Snyder made it clear that his time with DC is over and he has finally turned his back on the studio to start a new chapter in his life.
It would be extremely difficult to persuade him to come back – but not entirely impossible.
Because if James Gunn, one of the heads of DC Studios, were to call him and ask him for a certain project, the American could envision a return:
For the film adaptation of Dark Knight Returns or Batman – The Return of the Dark Knight, he would make an exception. But only under the condition that it would be ‘a faithful adaptation of the graphic novel’.
What is Batman – The Return of the Dark Knight? The comic series comes from Frank Miller and is about an aged Batman who has already hung up the bat cape.
However, he returns once more as the bat-hero to save Gotham and fight one last time for justice and order in the dark city.

When will Snyder’s new film be released? On December 22, Zack Snyder’s sci-fi adventure Rebel Moon: Child of Fire will be released on Netflix. The second part titled Rebel Moon Part 2: The Scar Maker will follow on April 19, 2024.
