The well-known German YouTuber VeneroTV directly compared four of the currently best power weapons for PvE in a damage test.
The following weapons were used in the DPS comparison:
- The new exotic sniper rifle Whisper of the Worm (with and without catalyst). The Whisper sniper has only been in the game for a few weeks, but has quickly established itself as one of the most popular power weapons in Destiny 2.
- The exotic sniper rifle D.A.R.C.I.. This sniper was the strongest sniper in the game before the introduction of the Whisper of the Worm.
- The exotic linear fusion rifle Sleeper Simulant. The already known Sleeper from Destiny 1 is still one of the most popular alternatives in Destiny 2 when facing Yellow Bars or bosses.
- The legendary shotgun IKELOS_SF_v1.0.1 from the Escalation Protocol. This shotgun is among the most popular power weapons when fighting against Yellow Bars and bosses at close range.
