In World of Warcraft: The War Within, the hottest phase of the World First Kill race has begun. After a nerf of Queen Ansurek, a professional guild claims the victory.

What is the current status of the race? Currently, five WoW guilds are at Queen Ansurek. The pros have been racing against the final boss of the first season of The War Within for days. After Blizzard reacted with initial nerfs (damage reduction for the boss abilities “Acolyte Essence” and “Royal Judgment”), we are now getting closer to the World First Kill.
- Liquid is at 1.75 percent after 403 attempts
- Echo is at 18.98 percent after 327 attempts
- Method has 259 pulls and reached 27.06 percent
- The best Chinese guild, Huoguo Hero, is at 277 pulls and 56.53 percent

What is Liquid doing? The players of the American guild Liquid are actually approaching the end of their raid day. However, since only 1.75 percent health remains, the pros are considering an extension. If the pulls continue to go well, they want to stay online.
Understandably, there is a risk that Ansurek might be defeated while Liquid takes a six or seven-hour break. You can check out the current tries on twitch.tv/teamliquid.
Since Blizzard has not yet reduced the health points of the mythic final boss, the pros really have to give it their all offensively and manage their cooldowns perfectly to defeat Ansurek before the enrage timer. Liquid has shown that this is possible with the current gear if everything goes optimally.
