Are there risks when installing mods? Yes, there are, because currently there is no official mod support from Pearl Abyss, the developers of Crimson Desert. So if you want to spice up your game, you have to rely on third-party sites like NexusMods.
Even though most mods there are “safe”, they can corrupt your save file and waste many hours. So if you want to modify your game, you should always have a backup of your game file ready – you can find it in the user directory under AppData -> C:Users[Your Username]AppDataLocalPearlCDSaved.

What does the mod do? Fat Stacks is more of a QoL feature designed to help you when looting. With it, you can stack items in much larger amounts. Up to 9999 items can be stacked in a storage tile, allowing you to save even more space in your pockets.
