Developer Pearl Abyss has released new updates for Crimson Desert. Patch 1.01.01, 1.01.02, and 1.01.03 are intended to improve your gameplay with minor bug fixes. Here you can find the patch notes.
What does Patch 1.01.01 bring for Crimson Desert? The update from March 30, 2026, includes the following patch notes:
- A problem has been fixed where the button to use the amulets of the five new mounts was incorrectly displayed for Damiane and Oongka.
- A problem has been fixed where the Black Star did not disappear after death but remained in the air.
- A problem has been fixed where the A.T.A.G. was not destroyed even when its health dropped to 0.
- A problem has been fixed where the user interface to select a refinement target was not available under certain conditions.
- A problem has been fixed where holding the button to follow NPCs during certain quests led to unusual horse movements.
- A problem has been fixed where sprinting on the White Bear could not be used.
- A problem has been fixed where the control during the “Examine” interaction with the constellation helmet was unresponsive.
- A problem has been fixed where the refinement of equipment was not possible with Damiane and Oongka.
Please note that the patch is not yet live on all platforms (Source: crimsondesert.pearlabyss.com). This has already been rolled out on Steam and PlayStation, while the Xbox, Steam (Mac), and Mac App Store versions still have to wait.
What does Patch 1.01.02 bring for Crimson Desert? The second update from March 30, 2026, includes the following patch notes (Source: crimsondesert.pearlabyss.com):
- The image quality of NVIDIA Ray Reconstruction and DLSS has been partially improved.
- The team will continuously review and further optimize development in this area.
What does Patch 1.01.03 bring for Crimson Desert? A new patch from March 31, 2026, includes the following patch notes (Source: crimsondesert.pearlabyss.com):
- A problem has been fixed where some bosses occasionally did not move during combat.
