What’s going on with the bunkers in Warzone? Since the launch of Call of Duty: Warzone, underground bunker facilities, scattered all over the map, have been considered the biggest secret of the battle royale.
With the large Update 1.21 from May 19, players have come a little closer to solving the puzzle. Some bunkers can now be opened with the red keycards and offer plenty of loot. However, a real puzzle cannot simply be solved with an update.
One of the bunkers, number 11 northwest of the military base, still behind the fire station, cannot be opened with the keycards, but through a small quest. Here you need to crack a code. But instead of getting one step closer to the solution of the big bunker puzzle, it feels like we are back at the beginning of the next mystery.
However, it is worth cracking Bunker 11 at least once, as you will receive a weapon blueprint for the MP7.
Warzone Bunker 11 – Nuclear Weapons Facility under Verdansk
What can be found in Bunker 11? As in the other facilities, you will find plenty of loot here as well. Piles of boxes, cash, and weapons await you. But this bunker is special. In addition to the loot fest, you will find:
- A computer that can be “rebooted”
- A chamber with an unknown blueprint weapon
- A “glowing red button”
- A room where disassembled atomic bombs can be seen
And here the next puzzle seems to begin. Because although there are some interaction opportunities in the bunker, these only trigger trivial things, and it seems that there is more behind it.
How can I enter Bunker 11? If you want to see for yourself, you can go on the hunt for the right code for Bunker 11. It should be noted that it is not so easy to open the doors of the nuclear hideout. It’s best to try in the Plunder mode. Even when “Blood Money” is active, your chances are better here.

How do I solve the puzzle? The CoD YouTuber “eColiEspresso” has shown with an English video how to enter the secret Bunker 11. MeinMMO explains the steps in detail. We have embedded the video here for you:
Step 1 – Find the right phone with the map
You will find phones scattered all over the map. You may have noticed interaction symbols that do not trigger anything when you “activate” the devices. Since the update, the response of the devices has become more detailed, allowing you to start the hunt for Bunker 11. The devices at the following locations are likely to qualify as “activation phones”:
To find the right phone, you need to check the locations and hope that one of them starts ringing. But it also has to be the right phone. In total, you can receive 3 responses:
- The sound of a connection loss
- A sound track where you hear noises after a few seconds, more likely indicating an “error”. Like the sound in a quiz show when the wrong answer is given
- With the correct sound track, you hear noises more like a telephone hold music. They sound more cheerful and indicate a “Well done”. Between 2 of these sounds, you hear 3 words that give the hint for the next phones

Step 2 – Decode the bunker code in German
Once you have the correct sound track, things get tricky. The recording has poor quality and is partly in Russian. Between the two hold music sounds, the voice tells you 3 words.
Each of these words represents a number that reveals the location of a phone with which you need to interact next. Remember the words and the order. Here is the map with the location of Bunker 11, along with the code words and the corresponding phones.
The associated numbers of the phones have been discovered by players through interaction with the devices. When you use a ringing phone, you will hear a kind of Morse code. The number of signals tells you which phone you are currently using.
Step 3 – Activate phones in the correct order
Once you have deciphered the sound track and know the 3 locations of the correct phones, go to the devices in the order they were mentioned on the sound track. So if you heard the numbers 5 – 6 – 2, first go to phone 5, then 6, and finally 2.
Interact with the devices and listen to the sound carefully. You will hear Morse signals, and if the number of “beeps” matches your digit, you are in the right place. If not, you will hear the error tone.
The third phone then confirms the solution of the puzzle. If you hear the cheerful hold music here again, you can make your way to Bunker 11 and explore the nuclear weapons facility yourself. Take a look around in the facility and on a table you will find the hidden MP7 blueprint.
What’s next? Inside the bunker, there are again new interaction opportunities that do not give a direct hint as to what they actually trigger. Although they have minor effects in the bunker, such as changed displays on a monitor or the release of smoke from the room with the atomic warheads, there is a suspicion that there is more behind it.
After all, there are still many computer terminals in Verdansk, similar to those in the puzzle Bunker 11, for which it is still completely unclear what they are for. Whether the bunker puzzle is already solvable or only unfolds properly with Season 4, we will see soon.
