The Battle Royale of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare starts on March 10 and brings a few cool new features to the BR genre. This includes a credits scene where every player is mentioned, and the winners even get a short film.
How are the matches of Warzone celebrated? After a long wait, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare released on March 9 the official trailer for its own “Battle Royale” mode.
Judging by the first images, the wait might have been worth it. Warzone brings many cool features, including a cinematic credits scene after every match.
As in a Hollywood blockbuster, a credits scene at the end of each round honors all participants. The stars, in this case, the winners of the match, are featured in a short film and get a well-deserved close-up after the job is done.
Tribute to all participants with credits like in movies
What does it look like exactly? The CoD news site “Charlie Intel” shared the scene after the match on Twitter.
You can see how the Charlie Intel player takes out the last remaining opponent and thereby decides the round for his team. After that, the credits start. The credits show all participating players along with footage of the winners with their gamer tags. A really cool feature that sweetens the victory.
What new features does CoD-BR bring? Warzone will not reinvent the Battle Royale genre, but it brings some new and exciting mechanics:
- A second game mode – “Plunder” comes as a game mode alongside Battle Royale. Here it’s about collecting the most money by the end of the round.
- Gulag respawn – If you go down, it doesn’t mean the end. You can fight your way back into the match with a duel.
- Cash system – You can collect money in matches to request equipment or receive extra XP.
When does it start? Warzone comes on March 10 and will start in the afternoon, here are the details on preload and download sizes. The action-packed trailer confirms the Battle Royale as a 150-player match and free-to-play, here you can find more info on the gameplay.
