Blizzard has released the latest video in the Warbringers series for World of Warcraft. In Warbringers: Azshara, you can see the origins and intentions of the Naga.
To herald the expansion Battle for Azeroth for World of Warcraft, Blizzard is currently releasing a lot of cinematics. Now, the latest video has been released at Gamescom. In Warbringers: Azshara, we see the leader of the Naga and her motivation to confront the Alliance and Horde in the new addon. Here you can find the video in German:
Who is Azshara? Azshara was, over 10,000 years ago, the undisputed ruler of the Night Elves, loved and revered by the entire people. As she and her servants delved deeper into the magics of the Well of Eternity, they attracted the attention of the Burning Legion. Azshara led the demons to Azeroth, and due to the consequences of the war, the Well exploded, dividing the world into several continents. Azshara was pulled into the sea and corrupted by the Old Gods – she and her servants became the first Naga.
Azshara’s motivation. Contrary to what most expect, Azshara hasn’t simply become a servant of the Old Gods. She has nearly complete control over the Old Gods, especially N’Zoth. She has made a pact, but with the condition that she will be queen over the empire that they will rebuild.

Cortyn says: I have to say that this cinematic completely blew me away. This is exactly how I have imagined Azshara for more than a decade. I hope her story continues for a long time before we defeat her in a raid. She is one of my absolute favorite characters – and this cinematic does her justice.
