Aniimo - All important information about the release, platforms, and beta

At the Summer Game Fest 2025, a forthcoming RPG named Aniimo was presented, which aligns closely with well-known games like Pokémon or the popular Palworld. We have gathered everything you need to know about the game here.

What kind of game is this? Aniimo is a forthcoming action RPG from Kingsglory set in an open world called Idyll. Players will collect and tame the titular magical Aniimo, adorable creatures that each bring their own personalities, abilities, and evolutions – similar to Pokémon or Palworld.

In addition to collecting and evolution mechanics, Aniimo offers dynamic real-time combat, puzzle elements, exploration, and later also PvE and PvP features. Notably, players can connect with their Aniimo to gain new abilities and switch perspectives.

When will Aniimo be released? Aniimo is set to be released on September 16, 2026.

On which platforms can you play Aniimo? You will be able to play Aniimo on PC, Xbox Series X|S, as well as Android and iOS.

In which languages can you play Aniimo? This is somewhat difficult to answer as different platforms provide various information. According to Steam, Aniimo will be playable in English, Japanese, Chinese (simplified & traditional), and Korean. It will be voiced in English and Chinese (simplified).

These languages are also available on the official homepage. However, checking the Microsoft Store shows that German, Spanish (Mexico), French, Portuguese, and Russian are also displayed for the user interface and subtitles.

It remains to be seen which languages will be available at release.

Is there a beta? Currently, no beta is taking place, and it is unlikely that there will be a fourth before the release. The last, third beta took place starting June 9, 2026. You can find all important information about the third beta here:

All about crossplay and co-op

Can you play Aniimo in co-op? You will likely be able to play Aniimo in co-op with up to 4 players.

Is there crossplay? Yes, there should be crossplay between the platforms.

Is there cross-save and cross-progression? Yes, saving should also work across platforms. This means that you can play the same save file on your mobile devices, PC, and Xbox without losing progress.
