The Korean MMO Black Desert has imposed an IP block for foreigners.
For those who are hardcore enough to play Korean MMOs in their original form, they will encounter IP barriers in Black Desert. As reported by playmassive, publisher Daum has imposed an IP ban, which is likely meant to prevent foreign influences from distorting the Open Beta.
One can certainly discuss the sense and nonsense of such an IP ban. Likewise, whether players are doing themselves a favor by playing an MMORPG in Korea that they cannot understand, suffering from poor ping, and relying on “basic” information from third parties to find their way.

For those who can still be patient: There should soon be a beta in Europe, likely in English. At least that is what is announced.
