For the Korean Black Desert , two additional classes’ Awakening weapons have been revealed – catch a first glance here!
Plum gets spear, the Blader a katana
In the West, fans are eagerly looking forward to the release of Black Desert on March 3, 2016, while significant developments are already underway for the Korean original version. In the game’s homeland, all classes are gradually receiving so-called “Awakening” weapons, which can be unlocked at a high level. These drastically change a class’s playstyle and provide variety with new abilities and a cool design after farming to just below the maximum level.
As the latest addition to this system, the Plum and the Blader (the female and male swordsman) have now been presented with their Awakening weapons.
The Blader receives two weapons to wield simultaneously: a polearm reminiscent of a halberd and a katana. The Plum completely focuses on her spear, which she uses to pierce her enemies with swift thrusts.
It will likely take several months before these weapons make their way into our version of the game – as the Western release is still on the agenda first. And the two classes in question are (still) not intended for the Western release. Just like the Kunochi and Nija, they are still missing.
